𝙖 𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧.

Cami laughs loudly as she tries to get out of bed only to be pulled back and FP's body pressed into hers as he tickles her.

"No! FP stop! I have to go! I'm late!" The blonde says laughing loudly as FP smirks at her continuing to tickle her.

"Nah. I think you should stay here with me all day," FP tells Cami as he stops tickling her to lean down to kiss her neck making the blonde moan as she tilts her head giving him more room.

The blonde had woken up and got into the shower to start getting ready to meet Jughead and Kevin this morning due to the upcoming play when FP joined her.

The two then moved to her kitchen after Jughead left for breakfast which led to FP having Cami as breakfast on the kitchen table. Then the bed where another round conquered and now Cami was trying to escape.

For the third time.

"You don't have classes till late, Jug and Kevin will be fine, and one day won't kill you," FP tells Cami who pushes him away and stares into his eyes before wrapping her arms around his neck.

FP smiles down at her before looking down at her neck seeing the necklace around her neck.

"You never take it off," FP says more to himself than Cami as he grabs the golden serpent necklace he gave Jughead to give to Cami for Christmas.

The blonde looks at the necklace and smiles as she looks up at FP.

"I like it. Why would I take it off?" Cami questions smiling teasingly as the two look at each other both understanding what the necklace represents.

That necklace represented them. It was when everything changed and Cami was represented as a serpent. She became a serpent. Without a dance.

She became his.

"The day I take this off is the day I walk away from this life. All of it," Cami says looking at him in the eye. FP stares knowing the underlying meaning in her sentence.

It would be when she walked away from him.

"Never happening then," FP says making Cami laugh as she wraps her arm around his neck pulling him closer so his body weight is more on top of her.

"I don't know about that. Wasn't this meant to be a one-time thing?" Cami questions tilting her head as FP stares before tickling her again making Cami squeal as she tries to get him to stop FP smiles down at her trying not to laugh.

"I hate you!" Cami says breathlessly as she smiles once he finally stops tickling her making FP nod.

"Sure you do," FP responds as Cami glares at him.
"You're an idiot," Cami tells him before laughing again

"Perhaps," FP tells her before grabbing Cami's hand and kissing down her wrist softly as she smiles at him.

Grabbing his jaw Cami turns FP's head and connects her lips with hers before pulling him down so his entire weight is on her.

The two lose themselves in the soft lazy kiss as Cami trails her fingers up and down FP's spine while he interlocks their hands.

The kiss was a promise that neither wanted to break, but soon both would.

With a soft smile on her face, Cami walks into Riverdale High sipping on a strawberry milkshake dressed in a pair of black jeans, a Sage t-shirt, and brown chunky heel ankle booties.

"Cami!" A voice calls out making the girl stop and look over her shoulder with a soft smile on her face seeing Kevin walking towards her.

"Kev! You look as amazing as always. Did you do something new with your skincare? It looks amazing," Cami compliments as Kevin stares at her looking her up and down.

"Do you have a fever?" Kevin questions placing his hand on Cami's forehead who laughs at him shaking her head grabbing his hand and squeezing it.

"No Kev I'm just happy. Can't I be happy? Happy is good. And I just love you," Cami tells him as Kevin stares at her tilting his head.

"Are you high? Or on jingle jangle or something? I'm not judging or anything but you might need to cut back," Kevin tells her as Cami rolls her eyes.

"I'm not but thank you for the advice. And sorry I missed our meeting I had something to do this morning and had a craving for a milkshake afterward," Cami tells Kevin before kissing his cheek.

"See you later Kev!" Cami tells him turning on her heels and walking away sipping her milkshake as Kevin just stares at her retreating back.

"Kevin everything okay?" Betty questioned as she and Jughead walked up to him.

"Cami just got here," Kevin says making Betty look at him confused.

"And was drinking a milkshake dressed in jeans and boots. Smiling. I think she was high," Kevin says as Betty and Jughead look at each other confused.

"I think we need to have her evaluated," Kevin muttered as he walked away shaking his head. Betty stares at nothing in particular as she wonders what's going on with her sister.

Walking into the student lounge Cami looks around before running over to Cheryl and wrapping her arms tightly around her as the redhead stumbles.

"Cheryl! I had no idea! Seriously! When Toni called me and told me she and Veronica rescued you from the Sisters because of your Mom I almost committed murder but I was stopped before I could. Stupid Jones men," Cami says scoffing rolling her eyes remembering as she heard Toni tell her everything regarding Cheryl.

Cami sat down not saying anything before calmly hanging up after making sure Cheryl was okay. The two Jones men watched Cami wearily as the blonde stood up and went to one of the kitchen drawers and grabbed the biggest knife before heading towards the front door.

Both jumped up immediately FP picking her up around the waist as Jughead grabbed the knife. Cami fought them to let her go but the two made her sit down and eat some ice cream as she glared at the two.

Jughead then put a lock on the knife drawer as Cami just thought about how she would make Penelope Blossom feel the definition of pain.

Cheryl stares at Cami before looking down at her outfit and then grabbing Cami's neck turning it slightly and wiping at her neck.

"Uhm, Cheryl?" Cami questioned confused as Cheryl stared at her smirking.

"Did little Miss Camilla Cooper skip all her morning classes to have a morning hook-up?" Cheryl questions as Cami opens and closes her mouth before her cheeks turn red.

"And a milkshake," Cami mutters blushing as Cheryl laughs smiling at her.

"Mhm," Cheryl says making Cami look up at her confused.

"What?" Cami questions as Cheryl shakes her head looking at Cami.

"Just wondering who this miracle maker is. I mean he got you to skip school. You never skip anything you came to the cheer competition last year with a 103 fever and the flu. You passed out after our routine and wouldn't go to the hospital. But you weren't even worried about missing this morning and the play meeting with Kevin and Jughead. And you look all relaxed and happy. Actual happy Cami," Cheryl says as Cami stares at her thinking about what she is saying.

"Yeah...," Cami says swallowing slightly as she nods her head.

"I have to go but I'm glad you're okay Cheryl," Cami says walking away as Cheryl watches her worriedly.

"Cami!" Cheryl calls out as the girl leaves the student lounge as Cheryl sighs.

"Everything okay?" Toni questions making Cheryl look and see Toni and Sweet Pea.

"Just Cami I think I scared her a little bit but I didn't mean to. I was just trying to figure out whatever magically powers this new boy toy of hers has because she is all smiley and relaxed. She's not even wearing high heels," Cheryl says as Sweet Pea stares at her and Toni looks anywhere but Cheryl. The redhead stares at her before gasping.

"You know who it is don't you?!" Cheryl accuses as Toni just bites her lip and Sweet Pea glares.

"It's not my business and Cami will tell when she's ready. I'm not even supposed to know but I caught her afterwards! Anyway, I gotta go," Toni says walking away quickly.

"We aren't done with this!" Sweet Pea calls out to her glaring as Cheryl shakes her head before huffing as she walks away.

In the auditorium, Cami stands placing all the chairs in a circle on the stage as everyone enters the room and heads up to the stage singing making her confused but not commenting.

Grabbing her binder Cami sits down between Kevin and Archie.  

"Welcome to Carrie, The Musical," Kevin says towards everyone just as a chair is being pulled up making everyone look to see Fangs.

"Hey Fangs sorry I thought I grabbed enough chairs," Cami tells him making Fangs smile at her and waving her off.

"Okay. Next, introductions," Kevin says looking towards Cami first who smiles at everyone.

"I'm Cami and I will be one of the directors and understudy for any part someone cannot play," Cami says smiling at everyone before looking at Archie next. 

"I'm Archie, I'm playing Tommy Ross. The boy next door,"  Archie says making Cami chuckle slightly as he glares at her shaking his head with a smile on his face.

"I'm Betty, I play Sue Snell. The good girl," Betty says as Cami looks towards Kevin who just smiles at her.

"Veronica Lodge, playing mean girl, Chris Hargensen," Veronica says as Cheryl stands up.

"I'm Cheryl Blossom, playing the iconic role of Carrie White," Cheryl says as Cami shakes her head smiling at her cousin.

"Tone deaf," Josie says faking a cough with it making Cheryl give her a soft confused angry face as Cami sighs just as the doors open.

"Who's playing your mom? Margaret White," Ethel questions Cheryl.

"I am," a familiar voice says making Betty and Cami look at each other before looking at their Mom who just entered the room.

"Mom?" Betty and Cami question confused.
"Wait, seriously?" Ethel questions Kevin who looks towards her.

"Settle down. Yes, it's untraditional but to me, there's nothing more amateur than age-inappropriate casting," Kevin says as Cami just stares at him open-mouthed and then at her mother in disbelief.

"I'm really looking forward to getting to know who this woman is, you know, get under her skin. And, of course, to spend some quality time with my daughters, Camilla and Elizabeth," Alice says as Betty and Cami stare at her not really knowing what to say just as someone walks up the stage and right behind Cami.

"Uh, sorry. I thought rehearsals were in the Music Room," Chuck Clayton says as Cami's entire body tenses up and she just stares at nothing clutching her fist as Archie, Betty, and Veronica share a look and then look at Cami.

"No problem. All are welcome here," Kevin says as Chuck gets a chair sitting between Kevin and Cami looking at the blonde with a tight smile.

"Hey Cami," Chuck says softly as she just stares at him not saying anything to him as she begins writing down her notes.

As everyone takes a break Cami sits down in her chair making notes as someone sits beside her making her look to see Veronica staring at her.

"I just wanted to make sure you were okay with Chuck being here," Veronica says making Cami shrug.

"It's Kevin's play. He gets to choose who is in it not me. I'm fine," Cami tells her not looking up from her binder.

"Cam-," Veronica begins as Cami looks up at her.
"Veronica stop please," Cami tells her as Veronica gulps.

"Please don't pretend to care when you were going to let your Dad hurt the one person I love most in this world. When you lied to me time and time again to protect the person you once hated and was afraid of. Don't. I have made excuses for you and protected you but I'm sick of being the one that everyone uses. Don't pretend to care about me when you just don't," Cami tells her as she gets up and clears her throat.

"Let's start we have a lot to get through today," Cami tells everyone who looks at her walking towards the circle again and sitting down.

"Okay. Act one, scene one," Kevin says once everyone sits down and gets their books. 

"Actually...before we begin...I've heard whisperings that some of you ensemble vultures don't think I'm fit to play or sing—," Cheryl says as Cami sighs rubbing her forehead as a headache begins.

"No," Josie says shaking her head as Cheryl sends her a look.

"—the role of Carrie White. So, to settle this matter once and for all...Maestro?" Cheryl calls as Kevin looks at Cami who shrugs.

"Okay, uh, Cheryl...," Kevin begins but is interrupted as Cheryl begins to sign Cami watches as she nods her head. She was good. Really good.

Once she was done everyone even some people reluctantly began to applaud.

"Wow. I think I speak for everyone when I say that was undeniable, Cheryl," Kevin says as Cheryl begins to walk towards her seat only for a bag to fall right in front of her almost all her.

"Cheryl!" Cami yells as she gets up and hurries towards her worriedly.

"You okay?" Cami questions as Cheryl nods the two girls look up worriedly before looking at each other.

Later on, Cami stands on the stage cleaning everything up and bending down to grab her binder when she trips, and begins to fall off the stage when a hand grabs her pulling her back.

"Oh thank-," Cami begins to say letting out a startled breath as she turns but pauses seeing a familiar face.

"Chuck," Cami says as she begins to walk away but Chuck falls after her.

"Cami wait. Please," Chuck says making her pause but not turn around.

"I just-I'm sorry for what I did and for the whole book thing. I'm really sorry and I know I have an excuse for what I did to you. It's something I will always regret being drunk isn't any excuse at all," Chuck says looking down as Cami looks over her shoulder slightly and nods her head.

"Thank you," Cami tells him before walking down the stage and towards the Blue and Gold to see Jughead and Betty.

"You will never believe what just happened," Cami begins to say but pauses seeing Betty and Jughead with their serious detective faces on.

"What's wrong?" Cami questions as the two look at her and Betty hands her a piece of paper.

"This was in Kevin's locker," Betty tells Cami who looks down at the letter.

"It's a sin that Cheryl is playing the role of Carrie fix this mistake or suffer the consequences. The Black Hood," Cami says as she reads the letter in cut-out letters from a magazine.

"What the heck is this?" Cami questions throwing the paper down as she looks at the two.

"No way is this legit," Betty states as Cami looks down at the paper and bites her lip.

"Well, it's a legit threat, but it's definitely not from the real Black Hood. No, this is a classic Phantom of the Opera tactic. Mystery Man sends a menacing note demanding a certain diva soprano gets recast or else," Jughead says as Cami looks down confused.

"Who's to say this letter came from a mystery man at all?" Betty questions looking at Jughead before looking at Cami.

"That's a good point," Jughead says looking at Cami takes a breath.

"I need alcohol," Cami mutters before walking away as Jughead and Betty watch her walk away as she thinks about the letter.

Something always felt off regarding the death of the Black Hood and this letter seemed a bit too real. Cami was worried more about Cheryl than anything. She didn't want her to be hurt.

As Cheryl and Josie sang on the stage Cami walked around the dressing rooms that might need to be added to them and at the certain outfits that needed to be worked on. 

Cami was bent down grabbing some things on the ground when she heard giggles as a door opened. Looking up Cami sees Midge walking out of one of the dressing rooms and a few seconds later Fangs follows her making Cami freeze.

"Are you a fucking idiot?" Cami whispers and yells at Fangs who jumps at that turning around wide-eyed.

"Cami-," Fangs begins to say as Cami gets up and hits him upside the head and then slaps his chest over and over again.

"Midge?! Midge Klump? Moose's girlfriend?! And having sex with her when he is literally in a room away?! Are you crazy or suicidal because I don't know what to call it?!" Cami exclaims throwing her hands into the air.

"Why is this my life?" Cami questions rubbing her face as Fangs stares at her.

"I like her Cami," Fangs says making Cami sigh as she looks at him.

"She's in a relationship Fangs and I know it's not the happiest one but I don't want her using you. Only for you to get hurt in the end. This isn't going to end well for anyone Fangs think about it. Please," Cami whispers before sighing as she walks away leaving Fangs to think about what she said.

Not speaking to anyone Cami grabs her things and leaves. She was done with today and should have agreed to FP's request regarding staying in bed today. That would have been a better day.

Walking into the trailer Cami sighs as she sees FP standing at the stove with a radio playing softly in the background.

"Hey, how was your day?" FP questions her as Cami sighs walking up to him and wrapping her arms around him as FP hugs her tightly.

"That bad uh?" FP questions as Cami groans.
"That's an understatement. At first, it was fine then it just continued to go downhill and fast," Cami tells him laying her chin on his chest as FP leans down and kisses her lips softly.

"Sorry Trouble," FP tells her as Cami smiles slightly cuddling to his chest FP sways slightly to the music before grabbing Cami's hand.

Cami looks at him confused as he smiles at her rolling her eyes Cami laces their hands together. 

FP spins her around before pulling her close as Cami laughs smiling at him brightly.

"There's that smile," FP mutters kissing her lips softly before spinning her again as Cami smiles and the weight of the day leaves her body.

The next day Cami sat beside Kevin as Veronica sung her sang her song According to Chris for her part.

Cami watched but she kept looking at Betty who seemed a second away from snapping making her worried.

Once she's done everyone beside Betty begins to clap even Cami.

"Okay, Veronica, I am obsessed with everything that just happened," Kevin tells her as he walks up the stage.

"Thank you, it helps to be off-book and in full costume," Veronica says as Betty laughs behind her making Cami sigh.

"Don't be so modest. You're the literal embodiment of Chris. Never has a role been so perfectly type-cast," Betty says making Cami stand up worriedly.

"Betty...," Archie says sighing as Veronica holds a finger up towards him stopping Archie while turning to Betty.

"What was that, Betty?" Veronica questions walking towards the blonde.

"I mean, think about it. Spoiled rich girl, check. Major daddy issues, check. Bad to the bone, trying to control everyone around her, including her boyfriend and best friend. Check, check, check," Betty says staring at Veronica who just stares at her as Cami stands up.

"That's enough. Take a break," Cami says as Betty turns to her seeing her older sister's signature angry look on her face.

"And it wasn't a request," Cami tells Betty who walks away as Cami shakes her head.

"Let's get ready for the next act," Cami says as Veronica looks at her and leaves the opposite stage that Betty left off of.

After Tommy and Sue's ballad by Archie and Betty Cami walks away getting a drink as someone comes up to her.

"Cami," Veronica calls making Cami stop as she looks towards her.

"I just wanted to say thank you and I'm sorry," Veronica says making Cami look towards her.

"Playing Chris truly did make me realize everything I've done to our friendship not that I hadn't realized already. The last person I ever wanted to hurt was you. You never once judged me. Always protected me. Stuck by me. And I-," Veronica says as Cami stops her.

"I shouldn't have put you in that spot but Vee I thought you could trust me of all people. About Pop's. Your Dad. Everything with Archie. I thought-," Cami says shaking her head.

"I would never judge you, Vee. Never. You could murder someone and I would help you drag the body across the floor," Cami says chuckling slightly as Veronica looks at her.

"But I just don't know anymore if you would. Because if it ever came between me and them you will always choose them. And I understand. They're your parents. But they keep hurting people I love. And I can't stand by and just watch it. Not anymore," Cami tells her before walking away as Veronica watches her go sadly.

"Kevin, why did I get twenty missed calls and 69 text messages from Cheryl in less than 5 minutes regarding how terrible you and her mother is?" Cami questions walking into the auditorium the next day as Kevin looks towards Cami.

"I got another note and I couldn't cast Cheryl anymore. And then her Mom pulled her out. She can't be Carrie without Penelope's permission," Kevin says as Cami sighs running a hand down her face.

"Cami..," Kevin calls walking towards her and grabbing her hands.

"That means-," Kevin begins to say as she cuts him off.
"-I'm going to be playing Carrie White instead," Cami finishes before walking away.

"Let me go talk to Cheryl and I'll be here later," Cami tells him as Kevin sighs watching her go worried.

Maybe having Cami play Carrie White wasn't a good idea.

Later on in the auditorium, everyone sits in a circle once again.

"Due to some unforeseen circumstances, Cheryl will no longer be playing the role of Carrie White," Kevin says as Fangs tries to place a hand on his shoulder only to have Kevin remove it.

"What? Why?" Multiple people ask worriedly as Toni looks at Cami who sighs. 

"Let's just say that Penelope Blossom isn't much of a stage mom," Kevin tells them as Cami rolls her eyes thinking that was an understatement before looking at Toni.

"She's by the gym bleachers," Cami tells Toni who nods getting up and immediately leaving as Cami watches worriedly.

"In the meantime, Cheryl's understudy will assume the role," Kevin tells the group after Toni leaves.  

"Understudy?" Ethel questions Kevin.

"I appointed one after the sandbag incident. And she knows everything by heart. Camilla Cooper," Kevin says as everyone applauds and Cami smiles.  

"Let's go do this," Cami says with a smile as Jughead and Betty share a worried look.

Once everyone clears the chairs away Cami stands in the middle of the stage as her part with her Mom begins and the music begins to play.

Alice sings as the two dance their part on the stage.

"What if they like me?" Cami questions as Carrie to her Mom.

♪ Just like your father, they'll leave when they're through ♪

"They might like me! They'll like me!" Cami tells her stronger as Alice turns to her.

"You're such a fool!" Alice exclaims to her as Cami has flashbacks to the beginning of junior year. This same argument.

Alice sings looking right at Cami who looks at her confused and then worriedly as she goes to her knees and begins to cry slightly still singing.

"Mom?" Cami questions as Cami walks towards her worriedly.

"Don't leave me, Cami. Don't leave me like all the others," Alice tells her before getting up and walking away Cami quickly follows after her.

"Mom?" Cami questions her in the hallway as Alice turns to her.

"Everything...everything is crumbling. I've lost everyone. No, I haven't lost everyone, I've driven everyone away. I gave my son away when he was born, and then, I just did it again. And your father and I aren't living together, because we're still fighting about some unspoken thing that happened years ago. And...And you and I have never been so frayed," Alice confesses as Cami stares at her.

"You're the one who pushed me away. Again and again. You blamed me for what happened. I didn't go anywhere you pushed me away," Cami whispers to her as Alice nods looking at her.

"I don't blame you for what happened. I blame myself. I should have protected you. I shouldn't have even had you in that spot to begin with. I'm so sorry I've failed you so many times Camilla," Alice says as Cami stares at her before wrapping her arms around her Mom who hugs her tightly to her.

"I'll do better. I promise. I'll do better," Alice says crying as Cami closes her eyes taking a deep breath hoping that is true.

Getting back into the auditorium Cami takes a deep breath as Kevin walks back into the room.

"Guys, the programs are in, and they look amazing. Make sure to get them signed on opening night," Kevin says as everyone grabs one Cami looks one over before pausing seeing the back said "Vote for Hermione Lodge."

Cami stares as Veronica looks at her Cami shakes her head seeing Fred who volunteered to build sets for the play with nothing in return.

"That is messed up. Even for you Kevin," Cami tells him as Kevin looks down at the programs and then at Fred looking down.

Cami sighed before walking over to Fred as he and Archie were talking.

"Freddie!" Cami cheers and hugs him making Fred smile and hug her back.

"I heard about the change. I can't wait to see you Cami. You will do amazing," Fred tells him kissing her forehead before walking away as Cami watches him go before looking at Archie.

"I messed up again Cami," Archie tells her as Cami sighs linking her arm with him.

"Tell me what you did and we can figure out what to do," Cami tells Archie who sighs at that nodding his head.

"I accepted a car from Mr.Lodge and didn't tell my Dad. He told him instead and now my Dad is upset. He wanted us to build one together. Like him and his dad did for his first car," Archie says as Cami sighs at him looking at.

"Archie," Cami begins to sigh as Archie nods.
"That wasn't a gift. That was a ploy to get between you and Fred. The answer is easy. Give the car back and show your Dad that he is the most important person to him," Cami tells him as Archie nods kissing Cami's cheek.

"Thank you, Ms.White," Archie says as Cami rolls her eyes.

"Shut up," Cami says chuckling as she pushes him making Archie laugh with her. The two did not realize Veronica was watching the two with envy.

The next day fix her makeup in the dressing room as Betty finished her own behind her.

"You ready?" Betty questions Cami who looks at her nodding.

"Hopefully. It's a good thing I've watched Carrie a bunch of times and called Cheryl," Cami says making Betty look at her.

"I wanted to make sure she was okay with this. She said it was fine as long as she could keep the pink dress and a bucket of fake blood," Cami says as Betty looks at her confused. Cami shrugs not knowing the answer but she gives it to her.

"Well then," Betty says as the two look at each other and laugh shaking their heads wondering how crazy their family was.

"You got this Cam. I know it," Betty says making Cami smile at her as Betty goes to leave the dressing room.

"I have to remove my rollers. I'll see you on the stage," Betty tells her as Cami nods.

"See you then," Cami says smiling at her as Fangs walks in laying a program down for her.

"Kevin said to give you this. The mistakes have been fixed," Fangs says making Cami smile at him as she looks through the program and looks at the back seeing instead of it saying Vote for Hermione Lodge it says Vote for Fred Andrews.

Cami smiles at that shaking her head as she begins to remove her rollers only to stop as she hears a sound behind her.

"Hello?" Cami questions as she looks around and then the lights go out making her worried.

As the blonde goes to scream a hand wraps around mouth her stopping her.

And the next thing Camilla Cooper felt was just pain.

On the stage, Alice stands singing towards the cross.

"All right, Carrietta, it's time to come out of your closet," Alice says to the audience as the set goes up and the audience gasps.

"Uh, Kevin, did you re-block this scene? Why isn't she on her knees singing?" Cheryl questions staring at the scene.

But instead of the blonde on her knees, someone was pinned to the set with words written all around her.

"I don't think that's part of the show," Jughead mutters in disbelief before dropping his camera and standing up.

"Oh, my God!" Kevin mutters just staring.

"Somebody should help her. For God's sake, help her!" Cheryl screams standing up herself.

Alice turns around and screams as loud as possible.
"Camilla!" Alice screams as people begin running out of the theater but Betty Jughead Archie and Veronica run toward the stage in fear.
