SAM WAS CURRENTLY PLAYING POOL at a bar, making a bet with a random stranger as Dean was sitting at a bar stool, with Aurora next to him. Of course, a bar isn't ideal for a child, but he thought to bring her instead of leaving her alone at the hotel.

Sam hit the cue ball precisely, making a majority of the solid balls go in the baskets. He
was about to take another hit until he spotted Ruby in the near distance.

"Keep the money."

"Wha- keep the money?" Dean asked in disbelief, not believing his brother. He followed where his brother was walking to see Ruby at the bar stool. His shocked expression turned to a calmed, yet disgusted look.

"Come on, baby." Dean picked up Aurora as she lazily laid her head on his shoulder, being sleepy after drinking two lemonades.

"Well, you got a lot of nerve showing up anywhere near me."

"I just have some info, and then I'm gone." Ruby redirected her attention from Dean to the child who was staring in awe at the woman. "Who's the kid?"

"My daughter."

"I didn't know you had a kid, don't seem like the daddy type," Ruby said, staring deeply at the child then back at Dean.

"I didn't either, until yesterday. And trust me, I'm definitely the daddy type." Aurora lightly lifted her head and rubbed her eyes to see a gorgeous woman standing in front of her.

"Hello," Aurora said to Ruby, tiredly, yet with a small smile appearing at the edge of her lips.

"Hi, honey." Ruby genuinely smiled back at the child. Aurora stretched her arms out towards Sam, indicating that she wanted him to hold her. After a few seconds, Sam grabbed his niece as she slept peacefully on his tall body. She smiled, seeing the high view, making her think that she was on top of the world.

"I'm hearing a few whispers. A girl named Anna Milton escaped from a locked ward yesterday. The demons seem pretty keen on finding her. Apparently, some real heavy hitters turned out for the Easter egg hunt." Both Winchester's looked at each other for a second before taking their attention back to Ruby.

"Why? Who is she?"

"No idea. I'm just delivering the news. You can do whatever you want with it. Far as I'm concerned, I told you, I'm done."

"Wait, wait, wait. This hospital Anna escaped from -- it got a name?"

After going to Anna's house and finding both of her parents dead, with their necks slit, Sam and Dean found a church that Anna could potentially be at. The older Winchester's both had guns in their hands, as Aurora was grabbing Dean's pant leg tightly.

As they reached the attic, they spotted a girl, hiding behind a stained glass window. Not wanting to scare the girl, they put away their guns."Anna? We're not going to hurt you. We're here to help. My name is Sam. This is my brother, Dean, and my niece daughter, Aurora."

"Sam? Not Sam Winchester?"

"Uh, yeah?" Soon after, Anna stood out from her hiding spot, revealing herself.

"And you're Dean? The Dean? And Aurora Winchester. The angels have been talking about you." Anna stated, her eyes glued to Aurora. Dean and Sam looked at each other, wondering who was talking about the young child.

"Woah, who's talking about my daughter?"

"I'm not sure. But it's not in a harmful way, more of a protective one. That angel seems to have really taken an interest in you. "

Aurora looked at her dad and uncle, curiosity wandering in her eyes, both of them just as confused as she was. But soon after, the trio went back to questioning Anna for more information.

But that moment was soon interrupted as Ruby barged through the room, making everyone turn their heads. "You got the girl. Good, let's go-"

"Ah, her face!"

"No, it's okay, she's here to help," Sam reassured Anna. Aurora looked over to the statue and noticed there was blood coming out from its eyes.

"Um, Dean, why is that statue bleeding?" Aurora wasn't really sure whether or not to call Dean dad, but that didn't matter right now. Dean and Sam looked over the statue to see that Aurora was indeed right.

"It's too late, he's here." Sam picked up Aurora from Dean's grip and he took Anna and his young niece to a closet for them to take refuge. The demon soon came into the room, him blasting the hinges off of the door.

Anna and Aurora heard loud noises of Sam, Dean, and Ruby fighting the demon that threatened them. Anna noticed the fear in the child, considering that the small girl was shaking lightly, and comforted her by pulling her into a comforting hug.

Glass shattering made Aurora jump, not knowing that her father and uncle, jumped out of the window.

Dean's dislocated shoulder was already one thing to ruin his day, but what made it worse was leaving his daughter with a stranger they barely knew.

"Dude, you need to calm down. I'm sure Aurora is fine. Anna and Ruby will take care of her." Sam tried to reassure his brother that Aurora will be okay, but at the same time, Sam was also worried about his niece.

"Do not tell me to calm down. I just found out I have a daughter and now I left her with a stranger and a frickin' demon." Dean rubbed his hands through his hair, frustration and worry overwhelming his already broken body.

Before Sam could protest again, housekeeping knocked on the door, soon revealing to be Ruby. She gave them the address to where she, Anna, and Aurora were staying at and they soon drove off into the Impala, flooring on the gas pedal.

Aurora was slowly drifting off to sleep in the place where the girls were taking refuge at. The six-year-old was in another small room so her nap can be more peaceful and relaxing. She was nearly about to fall asleep, until she felt a gust of wind brush against her face to reveal a man with a tan trenchcoat in front of her.

Aurora stood up immediately and was about to scream, but the man raised his hand gently.

"Please don't scream. I'm not here to hurt you, Aurora."

"How do you know my name?" Aurora could tell the man had good intentions, but she still wanted to be cautious.

"My name is Castiel. I am an angel of the Lord and I have been looking over you and your father." Castiel noticed the small scuff on the girl's knee and he crouched down to her level. He was about to put his hand on her knee until Aurora backed away.

"Don't be afraid, I can heal that for you if you like." Aurora slowly scooted closer to him and Castiel put his hand on her knee and seconds after, the cut went away, making the girl smile brightly.

Right as Castiel was about to say something else, he quickly disappeared as Dean ran into the small room where his daughter was at.

"Oh my god, Aurora, I'm so sorry for leaving you out there." Dean immediately hugged his daughter and she hugged back, embracing his neck as Dean did her body.

"It's okay, Daddy. I'm okay and you're okay." Dean's day soon became brighter just like that with the word 'daddy.' The thought of him being called a father scared him, considering the childhood he went through.

But Dean promised himself and Aurora that he would do anything for her no matter the costs.

Dean picked up Aurora and she laid her head on his shoulder. The sound of wind blowing through the barn made everyone on edge, so Sam grabbed the rifle as Dean put down Aurora and placed her behind his legs, shielding her from any possible threats.

The door soon opened to reveal Castiel and Uriel walking into the barn, Dean hoping they were there to help. Aurora took a peak in front of her father's legs to reveal the angel that she interacted with less than hours ago.

"Castiel?" Everyone turned their heads to the little girl and Castiel gave her a small frown. Dean on the other hand was curious, yet furious as to why Aurora knows who the angel is.

"Hello, Aurora." Castiel's soft expression turned back to solemnity as he faced the other adults in the room. 'We're here for Anna."
