"You're breaking up with me ?"
Eva said softly, and you can hear breaking in her voice.
"I'm sorry, Eva. I just can't do this. I hope we can stay as friends."

She shook her head angrily.
"No, we can't. Get out, Jacob. I never want to see your face again."
She said harshly, pointing at the door.
"Okay. I'm sorry."
He said, taking a small step back.

"Out !"
She yelled, and he obeyed, running out of the house, and closing the front door behind him.
As she felt the door click, she broke down crying.

I loved him. She thought.
So much.

What will she do now ? It's past midnight.
Elliot told her earlier that he would be staying the night in Bianca's house, and he won't be returning till morning.

What if she called him ? Elliot is the best brother she could ask for. He loves her, and he won't say no in a time like this.

She just wanted somebody next to her.

Through her sobs, she dialled her twin brother's number.
He answered after two rings.

"Elliot ?"
Her voice sounded so broken, that she knew Elliot might've guessed what happened. She already told him Jacob would be spending the night with her.

"Eva ? Are you okay ? What happened ?"
The concern in his voice told her that there's someone who cared about her after all.
"Jason b-broke up with me."

She sighed, and continued. Hoping he would say yes.
"I need a hug..can you please come over ? I need you."

She heard him sighing on the other end of the phone.
"Of course, Eva. I'm coming right away. Just don't cry, okay ?"
She nodded, even if she knew he couldn't see her.

"OK. Love you."
"Love you, too."

He hung up, and Eva sighed in relief.
He's coming.

A few minutes passed.
5 minutes. 10 minutes.
Of course she didn't expect him to show up in a second. Bianca's house is far away from theirs, so he's got to be late.

Then she got a message.
I'm not coming. Enjoy your breakup, loser.
Recieved 1:05 am.

What..? She thought, heartbroken.
What changed him all of a sudden ?
How can someone change their mind so quickly ?

She was about to call him, to ask him what made him change his mind, but then she received another notification.

She opened it, and a few moments later, she completely wished she hadn't.
It was a video.

She pressed play.
The video began with her brother lying on the floor, obviously pinned by someone, muttering something.

She could make out some of the words he was saying, and her heart broke even more.
"My sister, she.. Please let me go.. Please.. I need to go home.."

He stopped for a second, then spoke.
"Eva, I'm sorry."
She noticed the knife that went repeatedly up and down on his stomach. And she immediately knew he was being stabbed.

She gasped, covering her mouth in shock at what happens next.
The person that was hurting him started biting his neck, and from Elliot's reaction, it wasn't just a bite. She was sucking the blood out of his body.

He let out a blood curdling scream immediately, struggling under the cannibal's body, trying to free himself.

Her heart broke.

He kept struggling, screaming painfully and loudly as he did so.
Until the struggle stopped.

Her brother was dead.

"Elliot..?"
She said, in pure shock.
Then broke down crying, sobbing uncontrollably.

Elliot is dead.
