ONCE IN A BLUE MOON

โโโโโโโโกยฐโขโงโขยฐโโโโโโโโ
FAMILY. A GROUP OF PEOPLE THAT one is related to by blood. That's the meaning of the word in the dictionary. But for Luna, she likes to refer to family in a different and more accurate definition.
Family is the faction of people that she considers as the most important people in her life, not just by blood, but also by bond. The people that she loves. The people she stands up for. The people she protects. The people she would live and die for.
The werewolves. Charlie and Bella. The Cullens. Jasper. Their twins. They are her family. They are her people. And throughout the short amount of time that they had known the Olympic coven and the Quileute pack, she had changed so much.
Moving into forks, she was this damaged and hostile raven-haired and stormy-eyed girl that has sarcasm running through her veins and lungs of a rockstar. Someone that scared the living daylights out of people because of her aggressive personality. Someone that annoyed the hell out of people. Someone that could scratch people's eyes out if they so much as look at her the wrong way.
In less than a year, she had grown so much. She was now the clever and strong dirty-blonde and golden-eyed vampire that still has sarcasm as blood and lungs that will never break no matter how loud she shouts. A daughter that cherished her mother and father so much. A twin sister who'd do anything for her twin. A friend that they could always count on. A wife that loves her husband till the moon's upside down. And a mom who swore to love and protect her children for all eternity.
People may think that the troubles Luna had gone through had made her stronger. But to her, it was far from that.
To borrow a quote from one of Luna's favorite fictional vampires: "Family is power." The exact quote Luna could relate to because she believes that she didn't become the woman that she is today because of all the danger she had experienced. She is the woman that she is today because, in spite of all those dangers, her family was there to stand next to her, who never wavered from her side.
They were her heart. They were her oxygen. They were her reason for living.
She came into the world with the ambition of being seen for something more than she is, and she now thrived in it knowing that she has become something more than anyone else is.
"I'm gonna miss you, you know?" Luna said as she held hands with Valerie while they stood on the porch of the glass house.
The redhead vampire smiled sadly at her best friend as she squeezed her hand gently.
"I know. I'm gonna miss you, too, Luna-bear." Valerie said.
The rest of the Cullens have said their farewells to Benjamin and Valerie but Luna still couldn't let go of Valerie's hand. She was a best friend to her as much as everyone else was. She was a part of their family.
It was as hard as it is for Valerie as well. The Cullens had made her feel loved and wanted, which was more than anyone has ever done for her her entire life. Luna was the closest thing she has to a sister and it breaks her to even think that they would be apart. But she has been waiting for a great love to come and devour her. A great love that would give her an incredible adventure. A great love that would make her feel grateful that she's in this world.
And Luna understands that. If it were her and she had to leave with Jasper, she chooses him. She will always choose him.
Valerie pulled Luna in for another hug as more tears trickled down Luna's cheeks. She still wasn't letting go of the hybrid physiology because it has been working out amazing for her.
"Call me every day. And Benjamin needs to be mocked at least once a day or else he would forget his nickname." Luna told Valerie.
"Avatar Benjie is a nickname that would be very much stuck in my mind, Luna. No need to worry." Benjamin said from behind Valerie.
"Atta boy." Luna said as he winked at Benjamin and as she pulled away from the embrace with Valerie.
"We're going now." Valerie said. "Don't forget to tell the twins stories of their awesome Auntie Val."
"I'll never forget. Be happy, Val." Luna responded.
A warm and genuine smile tugged on Valerie's glossy, red-tinted lips, a smile that the Cullens would certainly miss.
Valerie finally lets go of Luna's hand and moved over to her mate, intertwining her hand with his as they gazed into each other's eyes. The two speed their way towards the forest, stopping to look at the Cullens once more.
"Thank you for everything." Valerie said.
Valerie registered in her memory each and every smile in the faces of the people she calls her family, before looking away and disappearing into the wilderness.
A few more tears slipped Luna's eyes and she quickly wiped them away.
"God, I'm becoming all weepy." Luna said as she wiped the tears away.
Eventually, she felt the warm embrace of her husband and she instantly hugged him back.
"You ready to pick up the twins from Charlie?" Jasper asked her.
Luna nodded. "Yeah. I've been missing them so much the minute we dropped them off."
Jasper smiled before kissing his wife on the forehead and turning towards the rest of the family.
"We're just going to pick up the twins." Jasper told them.
"I'll just get the keys." Luna said before pulling away from the hug and walking inside.
She was soon followed by Jackie and the thoughts that have been lingering in her head the moment she was standing in front of the altar with the woman she loves.
"Hey." Jackie said.
Luna whipped her head towards Jackie as she picked up the keys from her and Jasper's room.
"Hey, what's up." Luna asked.
Luna was caught off guard when Jackie suddenly speeds her way towards the dirty-blonde vampire and pulled her into a tight hug.
"Woah." Luna said with wide eyes before she settled into the hug. "You okay?"
"I'm more than okay. I'm married to the love of my life." Jackie said, her smile brightening by the second. "You're the reason for that, you know?"
Luna furrowed her eyebrows with still a smile forming on her lips.
"What do you mean?" Luna asked as they pulled away from the hug.
"I came to Forks with the plan of clearing things up with you. And now I not only have you and the others as my family, I have Alice as my wife. None of that would have happened if I didn't think of talking to you." Jackie explained.
Luna reached for Jackie's hands as she looked straight into her eyes.
"You belong here, Jackie Cullen. One way or another, you're meant to be in this family." Luna said. "Now, excuse me. Because I have two adorable thumbsuckers to pick up."
Jackie smiled at the dirty-blonde vampire before Luna squeezed her hand gently and walked away.

"Did you guys like your stay with grandpa, huh?" Luna cooed at Jesse as she held him in her arms, Jasper holding Serena in his.
"Of course they did. I'm cool." Charlie said as he looked at the couple and their babies while he has Sue wrapped in his one arm.
"Yeah, right." Luna said.
Sue simply stifled a laugh while Charlie rolled his eyes at his daughter.
"Say bye-bye to them. Say bye-bye." Luna said, but the twins simply sucked on their thumbs.
"No? Okay." Luna said.
"Actually," Charlie started. "Can I talk to you for a sec? Before you leave?"
Luna stared at her father for a moment before she responded. "Sure."
The dirty-blonde vampire turned towards her husband as he gladly takes Jesse in his arms as well, now holding both the twins effortlessly as he gave each a bright smile before leaving the room, and Sue doing the same.
"What's going on?" Luna asked.
Charlie shoved his hands in the pockets of his jeans as he looked at his daughter and sighed.
"Less than a year ago, if someone had told me that this was how things were going to work out, I would have laughed at their face." Charlie said.
"Well, that makes two of us." Luna replied.
Charlie tilted his head as a small genuine smile curled on his lips.
"Come here, kiddo." Charlie said as he opened his arms for a hug.
Luna smiled before she moved closer to her dad and hugged him, Charlie immediately hugging her back.
Charlie had missed his daughter, they never get to talk like this again. A lot has changed and he would be lying if he said that he wasn't a bit saddened about how they drifted apart. But he would also be lying if he said that he wasn't proud of the woman that his daughter had become.
"Even though you're a grown-up now, you'll always be my scary little girl." Charlie said as he embraced Luna. "You have a loving husband and two beautiful children. You deserve this and so much more.",
Luna buried her face into her dad's shoulder as she gently tightened the embrace.
"I'm warning you, the waterworks have been off the charts recently. So, if I'm bawling my eyes out again, it's your fault." Luna mumbled on his shoulder.
Charlie simply chuckled as he tightened his arms around his daughter. She was growing up too fast and he's afraid that in just one blink of an eye, she'll be gone.
"Okay, you better go. You will be a lot harder to handle when you start sobbing." Charlie said as he pulled away from Luna.
Luna laughed softly as she nodded. She slowly backed away, taking in his father's proud expression before turning around and walking out the door.
Walking out the front door and into the porch, she was met with a familiar figure standing in front of the house.
"I was told you were here. I just had to see you." Paul said.
Luna shook her head as a smile formed on her lips. "Why is everybody acting this way? It's not like I'm leaving or anything."
Paul shrugged as a genuine smile tugged on his lips as well, mirroring Luna's.
"I don't know. Maybe it just feels like a book just ended the moment you gave birth to Jesse and Serena." Paul stated.
Luna walked down the porch with her furrowed brows as she neared the shapeshifter.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
Paul pushed his lips into a thin line before speaking once again.
"The first book was filled with...sadness, hardships, but also laughter and bliss, of. course, let's not forget the sarcasm." Paul said as a chuckle escape his lips. "Now that book has ended and you're starting a new one with a whole different story and a whole different role. A mom."
Luna couldn't help but look at Paul with her curious eyes. She never looked at her life at that angle. It somehow made her both excited and anxious about what was coming next in this next book of hers.
"Maybe some of us just feel like we're not gonna be a part of that story anymore." Paul explained.
The dirty-blonde vampire tilted her head as she looked at Paul with a genuine smile on her face, her eyes smiling as well. She walked over to him and gently pulled him into a hug, which was much-needed if you ask Paul.
"Who would have thought that you were that big bad wolf that refused to carry me like a little bitch?" Luna muttered.
A laugh erupted from the shapeshifter's throat.
"Who would have thought that you were this annoying girl who keeps telling me what big ears, eyes, and teeth I have like a little psycho?" Paul retorted.
Luna smiled before planting a kiss on Paul'd cheek and pulling away.
"You guys will always be a part of my story." Luna said. "So, stop being a sappy little shit and tell Seth that we will go running tomorrow."
"Will do." Paul simply replied.
Luna smiled widely before walking past Paul and joining her husband and children in the car, taking one more look at the werewolf to smile before they drove away.
โโโ โ โโ โฆ โโ โ โโโ
The stormy blue-eyed Serena giggled profusely in Luna's arms as she tells her stories about her Auntie Val and Auntie Rory. The adorable, sweet sounds Jesse and Serena were making were Luna's new favorite music. She just couldn't enough of them. And considering that she's still a vampire, she doesn't get tired of taking care of them.
"Yeah, you're aunties are badasses, just like your mommy! So, you are gonna grow up just like us." Luna said adorably to her baby daughter.
"Well, that is going to be a nightmare." Emmett commented.
Luna simply shot him a playful glare before her eyes averted towards the gazing Rosalie out the balcony. Luna could feel the rush of mixed emotions Rosalie was feeling: love, excitement, jealousy.
"Taco Bella," Luna said, causing her twin sister to look at her. "Can you take Serena upstairs with Jasper and Jesse, please?"
"Sure." Bella said as she stood up from the couch and walked towards Luna to take Serena in her arms, the baby cooing in the process.
Bella went upstairs to take Serena to her dad and twin brother, while Luna slowly and reluctantly made her way towards Rosalie.
"Rosie?" She called out.
Luna could see how Rosalie perked up before she turned around, a smile forming on her lips. "Hey, Luna."
The dirty-blonde vampire stepped out into the balcony, joining Rosalie's side as she leaned on the railing.
"I guess I don't have to tell you what's on my mind since you already know?" Rosalie said.
Luna pushed her lips into a thin line as she nodded. With her copied mind-reading ability, she was able to realize what was bothering Rosalie.
"Yeah. I know." Luna answered.
Rosalie glanced at the vampire beside her.
"It's just hard, you know? You guys get to have everything that you want, and I'm happy for all of you. But, I don't even get to achieve at least one of my dreams." Rosalie said.
Luna looked at her before a former big dream of hers suddenly popped into her mind. A dream that she didn't once mention to anyone, at least not seriously.
"I wanted to be a singer." Luna said.
Rosalie smiled as she glanced back at her.
"I mean, I'm good at that, you know? It's the only thing I'm good at aside from coming up with a sarcastic insult on the spot and making people suffer." Luna explained as a chuckle left her lips. "That dream died with me on that car crash. I can't pursue being an international singer anymore because I can't go to sunny places. I can't hide the fact that I'm not aging. So, I let it go. And I settled for singing to the people that are important to me. And surprisingly, that's more than enough."
"You may not be able to have kids, but Rosie, you have two nieces and a nephew. And I know that in your heart, they are more than enough." Luna added.
Rosalie couldn't help but smirk at the dirty-blonde vampire as she narrowed her eyes.
"Since when have you become this good at emotional stuff?" Rosalie asked, the smirk turning into an amused grin.
"People have put me in a mood today, okay?" Luna simply replied, which drove Rosalie to laugh.
Rosalie's laugh died down and the two simply smiled at each other before pulling each other in a hug. Both Rosalie and Luna closed their eyes as they rested their heads on each other's shoulders, enjoying the first-ever hug that they have shared.
"Do you remember, that in this very spot, we told each other that we're not huggers?" Rosalie asked.
"And now we're hugging." Luna said. "I've hugged six people today. Benjie, Val, Jackie, Charlie, Paul, and now you. Apparently, I'm now a hugger."
The two laughed before they pulled away and intertwined their hands together as they stared at each other with their lips tugged into a smile. The special moment the two were having was then broken when they felt the presence of Emmett, who was casually standing by the doorway with his arms crossed.
"If you two are going to kiss, I'm all for it." Emmett said, a smirk playing on his lips.
Rosalie and Luna shared a glance before they rolled their eyes at Emmett. Luna was the first to let go as she walked away.
"If I do that, your wife would be leaving you for me." Luna said as she patted Emmett's shoulder before walking away.
She left the two to talk while she went upstairs to check on her husband and the twins. She was greeted by a sight she never thought was going to flutter her heart so much. Jasper held both Jesse and Serena in his arms, the three of them laughing as he danced around, entertaining the little ones.
His eyes met Luna's and his smile widened as his eyes sparkled.
"Hey, there's mommy!" Jasper told the twins.
"Hi!" Luna said with a warm and bright smile as she approached them.
She planted a kiss on each of the twins' foreheads before giving her husband one, soft and passionate.
"Come on, we're going on a picnic." Luna said.
Jasper smiled as Luna walked away to prepare their stuff while he continued to entertain their little ones.
โโโ โ โโ โฆ โโ โ โโโ
"Look." Luna said as she turned her phone screen towards Jasper, allowing him to see an adorable photo of Embry and Aurora that they had sent her while in their brief vacation.
"I see they're having fun." Jasper said, before taking a bite from a shawarma, his new favorite meal.
Luna refused to let go of the hybrid physiology, therefore, Jasper still has it as well.
"Too much fun, in fact. Rory asked me where I buy my sexy lingerie. Someone is getting lucky tonight." Luna said, a chuckle leaving her lips right after.
Jasper leaned in as a seductive smirk curled on his lips.
"Where do you buy them? Maybe we could buy another set." Jasper whispered, leaning in further as he seduced her.
Luna couldn't hold back the smile that appeared on her face before placing a hand on her husband's lips, which caused him to furrow his eyebrows and pout like a kid.
"Not in front of the twins." Luna said, looking over at the two babies in each of their basket carriers, looking at their parents with a smile that caused their adorable eyes to smile as well.
Jasper sighed before leaning back and continuing to eat his shawarma. Luna tilted her head as she stared at her husband, appreciating every flawless feature on his face. His lips, his nose, his eyes, his hair, his cheekbones. Everything. He was so perfect it was making her heart leap in joy every day.
Jasper furrowed his eyebrows when he felt a sense of deep admiration, causing him to glance at his wife, finding her staring at him.
"What?" He asked, a sheepish smile tugging on his lips.
"Nothing...I justโ" Luna widened her smile. "I want to show you something."
Luna moved closer to him. "I copied Renesmee's ability earlier."
Jasper watched as Luna placed her soft hand on his cheek, slowly taking over his mind as she showed imagesโmemoriesโto be exact of their journey together.
[A/N: Play "I Get To Love You" by Ruelle <3]
"Uhm...Watch where you're going?" Luna said, an irritated expression on her face.
His nonchalant face turned into a confused and offended one when she said that. She was the one who bumped into him.
"This is Luna by the way, my twin sister. Luna, this is Jasper Hale, Edward's brother." Bella introduced.
"Howdy." Luna greeted with a wide grin on her face, making it obvious that she's making fun of him.
Jasper narrows his eyes at the girl, not because he finds her interesting but because he actually finds her annoying.
Emmett and Jasper stood on either side of Luna, pushing away the two jocks that were holding her causing them to let go.
"Oh, hey Goldilocks." Luna greeted Jasper.
"Ow. That hurts." Luna muttered under her breath after she slapped herself. She palms her reddened cheek, trying to rub away the sting that was left by her own harsh slap. Now she knows how her victims felt when she slapped them.
"Well, you shouldn't have slapped yourself, then." Jasper answered.
Luna slowly turns towards to Jasper who is unfortunately (or fortunately. She can't really decide) her seatmate.
"You're not my dad, are you?" she asked.
"No." he answered.
"Then you have no right to tell me what to do."
"Do you even listen to your dad?"
"No."
"I figured."
Jasper looked away with another amused smile on his face. He wasn't one to have a conversation with someone he just met. But something in him just pushes himself to become more interactive when it comes to Luna.
Her stormy blue eyes met the golden-brown ones of Jasper Hale, though his gaze wasn't fixated on her. He was looking at someone from behind her which she suspected was the driver of the car that nearly hit her.
"Leave." Jasper snarled.
Jasper didn't need to say anything more. The boy was ready to yell at Luna for being careless but the way Jasper shot daggers of glares towards him and the snarl that made the hair on the back of his neck stand up made him think and do otherwise.
Luna notices the smug smirk that suddenly appeared on his lips and it made the raven-haired girl irritated, putting a scowl on her face.
"Why are you smirking?" Luna asked.
Because of Luna's words, the whole family turned towards Jasper and sees that he is indeed wearing a smirk which was incredibly unusual for the honey-blonde. Alice and Edward exchanged glances, knowing that this very image was what they saw in Alice's vision.
Jasper didn't bother to say anything, which drove Luna angry.
"Seriously, stop that!" Luna said, her voice raising due to how aggravated she has become about Jasper's actions.
"I'm not doing anything, ma'am." Jasper said, the smirk on his face not faltering.
"I'm going to tell you everything, but promise me you'd respond in all seriousness. No sarcastic remarks." Jasper said. As much as he wants her sarcasm back, he needs her to be completely serious because he's about to tell her something that would change her life forever.
"That's like saying I shouldn't breathe." Luna replied.
Jasper rolled her eyes before responding. "Selene." He warned.
"Okay! Scout's honor. Stop calling me that." Luna said.
Jasper inhales deeply as he prepares to tell Luna his family's secret. He just hopes that she would handle it with ease, that she would accept them for who they are, much like Bella.
"My family and I...We're vampires." Jasper finally said.
Just when he thought she was listening to him seriously, it backfired.
"Yeah, and I'm a duck. Quack quack bitch." Luna retorted.
"Seriously?" Edward complained when her mind spoke so loud.
"Stop reading my thoughts!" Luna said.
"Stop shouting your thoughts!" Edward argued.
"I would never shout how handsome Jasper is!" Luna suddenly yelled.
Awkward silence swallowed the whole living room after the unexpected words left Luna's mouth. A series of smirks and grins appeared on the faces of the Cullen's while Jasper bites his lip to prevent the smile forming on his lips.
The raven-haired girl exhaled slowly and deeply as she remained fixated on his eyes, finding comfort in his eyes with both of their pupils dilating.
"Hi." Jasper breathed, a small smile forming on his lips.
Luna remained staring at the boy in utter silence before she finally mustered up to speak.
"I thought I could do it." Luna started. "I thought I could be strong like Rose and overcome it."
Rosalie looks at her as her face wore a mix of worry and realization.
"But It's harder than I thought." Luna added, her voice cracking due to how quiet her voice was and how fragile she had become at that moment.
"Are those churros and melted chocolate?" Luna asked.
Jasper looks down at the box he's holding and raises his eyebrows, as if he has forgotten that he even brought that.
"Uhm, yeah." He said before he made his way over to her bed and sit, leaving a small space between them for him to place the bento box. "I had this strong craving for churros earlier. It was weird since I hadn't had any appetite for human food since I turned. It couldn't have been me, that's when I figured I was just feeling how you are craving for it." He added.
Luna watches Jasper as he opens the bento box, revealing the many pieces of golden brown churros and melted chocolate.
"So, I went home, watched some videos on how to make them, and cooked them myself." Jasper said.
Luna felt herself blush at the honey blonde's sweet gesture. No one has been this sweet to her outside her family. The fact that he even took the time and effort to make it himself, despite not knowing how the taste would turn out because human food tastes dirt to them ever since they turned, made the raven-haired girl's heart flutter.
"I'm not strong, Jasper. I'm just pretending. And now I can't keep it in because I just found out that I was pregnant and I lost the baby." Luna said. "I'm damaged and I'm a killer. No one's going to love me again."
Jasper looks at her with pain written all over his face. He couldn't stand seeing her like this and he couldn't want more than to her embrace her.
"Can I please hug you?" He asked, not wanting to touch her without her permission. The last thing he wants to do is freak her out.
Luna's golden eyes stared right into Jasper's where she could see the worry and pain. The raven-haired girl slightly nods her head, it was almost unnoticeable but Jasper was paying attention enough to see it.
Jasper gently pulls her to his chest, wrapping his strong arms around her firmly. He wants to hold her in his arms forever. He wants to protect her from the world. He wants her to feel the love that she deserves. He wants her.
"I love you, Selene." Jasper said, causing Luna to stiffen a little under his touch. "I always have. I was just too adamant to admit it. But you're not hard to love. Maybe you are damaged, but not beyond healing. And no, you're definitely not a killer. None of it was your fault. You're amazing and no one can tell you or me otherwise. I'm incredibly lucky to be your soulmate." He added.
Luna finally wrapped her arms around his as well and broke down in his embrace.
"So let people wonder. Let 'em laugh. Let 'em frown. You know I'll love you. Till the moon's upside down." Luna sang.
This was one-hundred times better than when Jasper imagined. He felt like he was on cloud-nine as he watched the raven-haired girl sing her heart out. His beating heart was fluttering because of her. He felt so lucky to be her soulmate.
She's the one.
"Don't you remember? I was always your clown. Why try to change me, why would you want to change me."
Luna feels like she's in a trance, enchanted by the honey-blonde vampire in front of her. He makes her feel something that she hadn't felt before. It was new and foreign, and dare she say, extraordinary. She felt so lucky to be his soulmate.
He's the one.
Luna grabbed his right arm that was holding up her leg and turned around, taking Jasper's weight onto her shoulder as she flipped him over and dropped him to the ground.
The Cullens smiled as they watched the two, Emmett cheering from behind Rosalie.
Luna straddled Jasper and pinned his arms to the ground, having a clear view of Jasper's surprised expression.
"Never lose focus." Luna said, mocking Jasper.
Luna leaned down and pecked Jasper's nose before pulling away slightly.
"You lose, Major." Luna said, feeling victorious.
Luna stood up and offered a hand to Jasper. He gladly accepted it and hugged her immediately, Luna's arms automatically snaking around his neck.
"You truly are amazing." Jasper said and Luna could only laugh in response.
Jasper saw his soulmate on the ground with a huge rock in her hands as she brings it down to the decapitated head repeatedly. He ran towards her and grabs her hands, turning her attention towards him.
"Hey, hey, hey. It's okay. You're okay." Jasper said, taking the rock from her hands before placing his hands on her tear-stained cheeks to wipe away the tears.
"Is it over?" Luna asked, her voice cracking in the process.
Jasper nodded, a small smile to assure her. "It's over, darlin'."
Luna's lower lip quivered before the two pulled each other into an embrace, something that they have been longing for ever since they became apart.
Jasper simply listened as he looked at Luna with a terrified expression on his face. What made it worse is that he could also feel how scared she was.
Considering Luna couldn't hear any of them because of the excessive ringing of her ears. But there was a thought in her head she was wishing Edward could hear. And he did.
"Turn her." Edward said, causing everyone except Jasper to turn their attention towards him. "She said she wants to turn."
"Jasper, you need to turn her now." Rosalie said.
Jasper gulped, taking her hand gently into his, looking straight into her scared gold eyes.
"Everything will be alright. I promise." He whispered.
"Selene Swan, my ever-so-sarcastic darlin'," Jasper began, staring right at the stunned girl with her eyes searching his eyes if there's any sign that this could all just be a dream.
"Will you marry me?" He finally said. "Pretty please with a cherry on top."
A smile stretched on Luna's lips as she nodded frantically, not needing another second to think about because she already knows her answer.
"Yes! Fucking yes!" Luna exclaimed before crashing her lips into his.
Jasper smiled into the kiss as he pulled her closer by the waist and Luna deepened the kiss as she pulled him by the neck.
"Selene Swan, my strong and sarcastic darlin'. I vow to never leave your side, to always hold your hand through our highest and lowest, to cherish you and your interestingly hostile ways, to always be the music behind your angelic voice. I vow to love you, till the moon's upside down." Jasper vowed, his smile never faltering from his lips, his eyes never wavering from the love of his life.
Luna smiled widely and brightly as she prepared to recite her own vows.
"Jasper Whitlock Hale, my sweet and brave cowboy. I vow to always be by your side, to never put a frown on your face, unless I'm in the mood to pick on you, to always be the wife that gives you the love you deserve, to always sing my heart out for you. I vow to love you, till the moon's upside down." Luna said.
Breathy moans were escaping Jasper's agape lips while he watched, with dark, lustful eyes, his soulmate clung on to him, her eyes squeezed shut, her teeth biting her lower lip as she suppressed the moans begging to be released.
Jasper's hand made its way to her cheek, pushing away the strands of hair covering her face before grazing her lips with his thumb.
"Don't hold back. I wanna hear you." Jasper said.
Luna released her lower lip from her teeth and breathy moans escaped from her mouth, progressing into loud ones as Jasper proceeded to meet her thrusts.
"Jasper." She moaned.
His hold on her body tightened at the sound of Luna moaning his name.
"Say it again." He said.
Her forehead touches his as he continued to thrust into her.
"Jasper." She said breathily.
The two smiled at each other before looking back at the two babies.
"We have a mini Jasper and a mini Luna." Luna muttered, starting to cry again. "That's so cute."
Jasper softly laughed at Luna's adorable crying as they continued to watch the two babies. They didn't know long they had been watching them but their precious cooing was enough to keep them occupied and entertained.
Jasper's mind was his own again once Lina withdrew her hand from his cheek. He was unaware of the tear that escaped his eye as their remarkable journey played before his eyes.
He looked at the love of his life, seeing the loving expression on the woman's face as her eyes glistened with happy tears.
"We've been through so much. And I'm glad we did because we're here right now. I could never be more grateful." Luna said, tears trickling down her face. "I have no idea what's in store for us in the future. But I know that I will always have you."
Jasper smiled as another tear was shed, rolling down his cheek as he took his wife's face into his hands.
"I love you so damn much, Selene Hale." Jasper muttered, caressing Luna's cheeks with his thumb.
"I love you, too, Jasper Whitlock Hale." Luna replied, her smile brightening up Jasper's whole world.
"Till the moon's upside down?" He asked.
Luna giggled softly as she gazed into the beautiful eyes of her best friend, her soulmate, her husband, the love of her life.
"Till the moon's fucking upside down." Luna replied.
And with that, their lips touched and the spark in their hearts struck life into their entire being, feeling their veins with inexplicable passion and love for each other.
The journey that Luna and Jasper shared will always be an experience that is remarkable. An experience that is worth fighting for. An experience that is hard to forget. An experience that is associated with great, unconditional love. A love that they will share for eternity. A type of love that is and always will be...once in a blue moon.

Letter from the author:
I can't even begin to explain the amount of joy and love that I have felt writing this book. And knowing that this book has now ended, I couldn't be any sadder. Writing Luna had been so much fun! She was so cool and sarcastic and strong. And I love her with all of my heart. Kinda hard to accept that this is the end for this book. But I want to imagine that this is not the end of her and Jasper's story. I like to think that they are still continuing their journey with their beautiful twins Jesse and Serena, only it isn't documented. It isn't written. But I know that however their story may continue, Luna would go against Jasper and would keep calling their babies, "bloodsuckers", "tiny persons", "little demon helpers", and " baby Luna-tics".
I would like to thank you guys! The most amazing readers ever! Reading your comments and seeing you guys vote in every chapter always makes my day. I love all of you Luna-tics with all of my big fat heart.
I truly hope that you guys enjoyed reading Luna and Jasper's story as much as I enjoyed writing it. I would very much want to read your comments about what you think of this book as a whole. Especially to those who are silent readers, because girl, I ain't a mind reader. Hehi.
I love you guys so much till the moon's upside down. See you on my next Jasper fic. <33333
With all the love from my Luna-tic heart,
Sammy.
