AFTER BELLA SPENT THE NIGHT WITH EDWARD in the Cullens' house, she went home to pick up some clothes before they go hiking towards the campsite where they'd be hiding along with Luna and Jackie.

Considering Luna was not able to be with Jasper because he was with the rest of the Cullens powering up for the battle, Luna spent the night in her own house, feeling the coldness of one part of her bed where Jasper normally laid with her.

"Hey. Guess what?" Bella said as soon as she entered Luna's room after packing all the essentials.

"Chris Evans is on our porch?" Luna said with her eyes widening.

"Uhm no." Bella said.

"Phoebe Buffay is singing 'Smelly Cat' in our living room?" Luna guessed, once again.

"Luna, no."

"I have a twin sister?"

"Uhm, yes?"

"Who?!"

"Luna, I'm your twin sister."

"Oh...ugh."

Luna turned away from her sister as Bella rolled her eyes at Luna's attitude. Luna continues to pack up all the things that she'll be needing for the camping, including small water guns that she plans to use to annoy Edward and a little toy bone for the werewolves.

"Luna, I have something to tell you." Bella said, a rather excited smile planted on her lips.

"What is it?" Luna asked.

Luna swore her eyes almost popped out of its sockets at the sight of the huge engagement ring on Bella's ring finger.

"Holy mother of fuck." Luna said as she stared wide-eyed at the ring on her finger.

"Edward proposed to me last night and I said yes." Bella said.

"Well, obviously. You're wearing that hideous ring on your finger!" Luna exclaimed rather dramatically as she tangled her fingers in her hair.

"So, what do you think?" Bella asked.

"Have I not made myself clear? I said the thing was hideous." Luna said, pointing to the ring.

"No! I meant Edward and I being engaged. What do you think?" She asked.

Luna averted her eyes from the ring and to Bella's face. It was clear that this was something that Bella wanted. And Luna, even though she doesn't want to admit it because she constantly makes her go through hell, she wants what's best for Bella. But then again, she's only eighteen. She has a lot more to experience.

Luna is starting to think that her obsession with becoming a vampire has swallowed her up and now, her judgment is clouded.

"Are you insane?!" Luna exclaimed.

Luckily, Charlie left for work and he doesn't get the chance to overhear what the twins are arguing about.

"You're eighteen and you're getting married?!" Her voice was so loud that Bella thought that her ears went numb.

"Is that so bad?"

"Are you not hearing the volume and the tone of my voice?!" Luna continued to shout. "I think I'm having a heart attack!"

"Luna, you're only eighteen." Bella stated.

"And you don't see me getting married!" Luna retorted.

The raven-haired girl needed a few minutes to register the news in her head, causing her to move back onto her bed and sat down. Bella could see Luna's gold eyes holding a hint, well, more than a hint of bafflement.

"Luna, I know this is a bit reckless─"

"A bit ?!"

Bella sighs deeply before continuing to try and persuade her sister into giving them her blessing.

"It's really reckless. But, Luna, this is Edward we're talking about." Bella tried to justify.

"Oh, trust me. I'm fully aware of who we're talking about." Luna retorted.

Bella once again lets out a deep sigh as she reaches for her twin sister's hands, taking them in hers as she looks straight into her golden-brown eyes.

"What I'm trying to say, is that Edward would always look out for me. I can't imagine being with anyone else other than him." Bella said.

Luna came down from her frantic and dramatic phase and looked at Bella the same way she was looking at her.

"And what about daddy? When you get married to Edward and become a vampire, what do you plan to tell daddy why you're not aging?" Luna asked her, her voice finally in a normal volume.

With the question that Luna asked, Bella couldn't help but be speechless. It was something that Bella never wanted to do but has to be done. But Luna would never approve of that. Not in a million years.

When the loss of words from Bella took more than five seconds, that's when realization hit Luna in the face like a truck. Her shaped eyebrows slightly shoot up before the words came out of her mouth.

"You're going to ditch him, aren't you?" Luna said, asking a question that she already knows the answer to.

And she was right. Because for the second time around, Bella was at a loss for words. All she could do was part her lips ever-so-slightly before looking down, not being able to look at Luna in the eye any longer.

Luna stifled a bitter laugh before a smile that is just as bitter as her laugh appeared on her lips.

"And here I thought I was the selfish one." Luna stated before yanking her hands away from Bella's grasps and taking her bag before making her way down to the living room, where she was able to see Jasper and Edward standing right outside through the window.

Luna sighed in frustration before she goes out the front door, immediately noticing Edward's guilty expression as he tried to avoid Luna's gaze. As she approached the Volvo, Jasper made her way towards her to take her bag and take it upon himself to carry it.

"Let me." Jasper said as he offered his hand.

Luna gives her bag to Jasper and the vampire placed a kiss on the girl's forehead, but with her glare at Edward still razor-sharp.

"Luna─" Edward called out to her, attempting to talk to her but Luna simply shut him down immediately.

"Sense the look." Luna said, referring to the deadly glare she's giving him as she walked past him and climbed in the Volvo.

Jasper only gave his adoptive brother an I-can't-do-anything-about-it look as he walked past him and joined his soulmate at the backseat of the car.

After arriving at their destination and Jasper trying his best to leave Luna, they started to execute the first part of the plan.

For the past couple of minutes, Jackie, Bella, and Luna have been tainting the woods with their blood from their pricked fingers. Luna knows that this part of the plan will work considering that with her enhanced sense, she can smell the blood from far away and it will definitely catch the newborns' attention and drive them crazy.

"You're going overboard." Edward told Bella as they neared them.

"You both are going overboard." Luna said, walking past them while glaring at them.

Jackie noticed the hostility that Luna was giving the couple that it triggered her curiosity. The short-haired brunette slightly picks up her pace to catch up to Luna as before she whispered to her, knowing that the couple is too busy talking to each other that Edward wouldn't pay attention to any of them.

"I take it you don't approve of the engagement?" Jackie asked, hearing the news from Alice.

Luna rolls her eyes as she sits on a huge rock, her eyes landing on the couple standing a couple of feet away from them.

"It's just too fast. We just graduated high school and now she's getting married? It's insane." Luna replied, crossing her arms against her chest as she proceeded to watch the two.

Jackie hesitated for a moment, not entirely sure if her response would be appropriate or would earn her a ringing ear for the rest of the day.

"Well...If Jasper proposed to you now, would you say yes?" Jackie asked.

If she had asked her this question before this day, Luna was sure she would've said yes. Jasper was the one. She can never imagine being with another person. She wants to spend the rest of her life with him by her side.

But now that she had a glimpse of what might happen to her when she gets married into that family through Bella's future plans, her answer has changed.

"No." Luna answered.

It was the answer that Jackie did not expect at all. She thought that given her unconditional love for Jasper and the fact that their souls are bonded, that question would have been an easy yes. But clearly, she was wrong. And she can't help but wonder.

"Why?" Jackie asked.

Luna gazed past the couple and into the forest, letting herself stare blankly ahead as she spoke her mind.

"I don't want to rush things. I want to savor the moment. Unlike the rest of the Cullens, I have a choice. And I'm lucky to have that choice. So I choose to be human until I'm finally ready not to be. That way, I won't have any regrets." Luna explained, her tone rather calm and soft, which slightly surprised Jackie.

But then again, anything Luna shows them that is antonymous to loud and sarcastic is a shock to everyone.

"Whose head is unclear?" Jacob's voice suddenly pierced through the little bubble that Jackie and Luna had put up while they conversed with each other, causing them to turn in their directions to see Paul and Embry accompanying them.

"Nobody's, I hope." Bella answered.

Jackie and Luna took it upon themselves to join the group to finally move on to the next phase of the plan.

"Alice says there's a storm coming." Edward told them.

"Yeah, I can feel it." Jacob said.

"We should get going." Embry added.

Luna and Jackie went to Paul and Embry. Paul immediately groaned in frustration when he was greeted with Luna's mischievous smirk.

"Are you gonna talk my ears off again?" Paul said, an irritated look on his face.

"That's what I'm here for. Now, carry me, Paulita." Luna said, finally managing to put a smile on her face by annoying the hell out of Paul.

The man rolled his eyes before carrying the raven-haired girl in his arms. Jackie and Embry followed while Jacob and Bella are behind.

Meanwhile, as the three werewolves carry the three human girls up the mountain, the army of newborns led by Riley Biers and Jeremy Nolan, Victoria hiding with them.

Embry and Paul left to prepare for the fight, much to Paul's relief since he could not take another second of Luna telling him what big eyes he has, what big teeth he has, and everything that references the Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf story.

Just like what Alice said, the storm has come. Thanks to her reminder, Luna was able to bring her self-heating blanket that she bought after her mom dumped her in Forks, knowing that it would be very useful every morning when she wants to convince herself to not get out of her cozy bed.

Unfortunately for Bella, Luna was sharing a tent with Jackie while Bella shared with Edward, and eventually Jacob. It was difficult to get a good night's sleep when outside of their tents, almost everything was being destroyed because of the storm.

It was a slow, chilly evening. Jackie, thanks to Luna sharing her blanket, had slept for at least a few hours while Luna couldn't help but wake up every fifteen minutes.

After the dreadful and freezing evening, came the morning. Everything was rather quiet, allowing them to think that the storm is over, which it is. But the raging storm between the Olympic Coven and the Newborn army is about to begin.

"Okay, I gotta admit, you look cute." Luna said when she stepped out of the tent and was immediately greeted by Seth in his werewolf form.

Seth seemed to appreciate the comment as he neared the raven-haired girl and lowered his head, allowing Luna to pet him.

"You're now my favorite wolf." Luna said as she continued to pet the werewolf.

"Where's Jacob? Did he already─" Bella asked Edward who just got back.

"Not yet." Edward said when he cuts her off. "He's checking to see if the woods are clear before he goes."

Luna stopped petting Seth when the wolf looks over at Edward and the wolf started to walk away from them, roaming around to sense if there are any threats.

"I'm really sorry about last night. It couldn't have been easy for you." Bella told Edward.

"Definitely won't make my list of top ten favorite evenings." Edward replied.

While it was supposed to be romantic and sweet for Bella, Luna actually found it cheesy.

"You keep a list?" Luna said, a chuckle vibrating in her throat.

Edward rolls his eyes at the raven-haired girl before settling his gaze back to his girlfriend. This time, Luna lets them be alone, shifting her attention to Jackie who just got out of the tent, stretching.

"Well, isn't this a disaster." Jackie said, her British accent thickening as she roams her brown eyes around the chaotic after-storm scenery before her.

"What, the woods or these two annoying people?" Luna asked as she pointed towards the cut-down trees and then the couple that is now glaring at her.

"You're marrying him?" Another voice chimed in with a rather unamused tone. It was clear that it was none other than Jacob.

All of their attentions were now fixated on a furious Jacob, his glare so sharp it can pierce through Edward's cold hard skin.

"Jake, I─" Bella tried to get something out to reason with Jacob, however, realization hit her like a slap from Luna which made her look back at Edward in disbelief.

"Oh boy." Luna muttered.

"You knew he was listening!" Bella exclaimed.

Edward simply looks at her, his voice still as calm as ever. "He deserves to know."

Jacob turned around and walked away, causing Bella to come after him.

"Jake, stop!" Bella said.

"Bella, let him─" Edward reached for Bella and tried to stop her, but the gesture only made Bella angrier.

"Don't!" she shouted at him.

Edward looks at his mate in hurt before letting his hand slip away from her arm. He, Luna, and Jackie watched as the scene unraveled before them.

"Jake, stop!" Bella called after him as she followed him.

Edward was left there with only his ability to read minds and his enhanced hearing to let him be in touch with Bella. It was a sensitive situation, but Luna, being herself, decided to pitch in a sarcastic remark.

"Well, that's one way to invite him to the wedding." Luna said, her feet dragging herself to stand next to the bronze-haired vampire.

"Not in the mood, Luna." Edward simply replied.

"Oh, I know. But, for what it's worth, I do approve of you and my sister getting married." Luna said.

The statement made the vampire look at the raven-haired girl with a mix of shock and confusion. "Really?" he asked.

"Yeah. I'm just not a big fan of the timing." Luna replied back.

There was a pause in their conversation before Luna spoke again.

"It would be a bit tough to convince daddy, though. If it were me and Jasper, he'll approve immediately." Luna said.

The vampire glanced at her with narrowed eyes. "Why is that?"

"Well─" Luna was unable to finish what she was about to say when she and Edward heard an unacceptable and surprising two words come out of Bella's mouth. Her voice said the words loud enough to be picked up by their hearing and now, the teasing smile on Luna's face dropped.

"What the fuck?" Luna exclaimed, about to go after her twin sister and make her snap out of it. Bella is engaged and now she's going around kissing another guy?

"No, wait." Edward said, grabbing Luna's arm rather gently which stopped her and made her glance at him. "Just let her be."

"Let her be? Edward, that's your fiance and she's kissing someone else." Luna told him, as if he wasn't able to wrap his head around what was happening.

A few seconds later, came Bella walking back towards them with a dumbfounded expression written across her face. She caught Luna's gaze and she saw the way Luna looks at her in disbelief before she walks away and towards Jackie, who only got to know what was happening when Luna said it out loud.

"You heard." Bella said, flickering her gaze between the three.

Bella took the silence as a yes, as well as the glare that she was receiving from her own sister.

"I don't know what happened." Bella told them and herself. But the response Edward had ventured was not the response any of them were expecting.

"You love him." he said, causing everyone to look at the vampire with slight shock on their faces, trying to hide the rest.

"I love you more." Bella replied.

Like that will make it sound less wrong. Luna thought. It was okay to love them both. But the fact that she would kiss the other when she's already engaged, that's what threw Luna off.

"I know." Edward replied.

Before the awkwardness in the area thickens, even more, it was then replaced by tension and anxiety when Seth came to deliver the news.

Edward took it upon himself to communicate with Seth using his mind-reading ability while Jackie and Luna approached them with curious and nervous looks on their faces.

"It's starting." said Edward.

The words suddenly dumped a huge burden in Luna's chest as she thought of her soulmate. The worry that she has for him was overwhelming. Like anytime, she would have an anxiety attack just by worrying about what is happening to him. Though, she was thankful that Edward was there to help them get in touch on what's happening in the battle.

The Olympic Coven, minus Edward, together with Valerie stood side by side at the other end of the field as they glared at the stretch of trees before them, sensing the arrival of the newborns that have gone frantic because of the traces of the three human girls' blood scattered in the woods.

Jasper's gaze hardens at the thought of finishing this so he could finally be with Luna. She was his greatest motivation. End this, and she'll finally safe with him again.

The look on Edward's face was once again giving Luna anxiety. As if he wasn't liking what was coming.

"How's Jasper?" Luna asked Edward.

Edward left the newborns' minds and went to search for Jasper, hearing a certain thought that could only come from his.

"You're in his mind. You're his greatest motivation to end this battle." Edward told him.

Luna smiled at the thought, but the nervousness never left her. She crossed her arms against her chest as continues to watch Edward intently.

In the field, the Cullens have started to sprint down the field as the newborns' have come out of the woods, going straight to the Cullens.

A series of war cries have initiated the raging storm as the two groups neared the center of the field and are about to collide, and when they did, the Cullens were already on the lead.

Jasper's solid right hook knocked a newborns' head straight off his neck. Emmett pushed on one so hard, it flew and landed harshly on the ground before putting a woman in a headlock and snapping her neck. Alice took multiple newborns all at once, some of them she's dodging and some she's knocking down with her rather elegant combat moves.

What happened next was something that the newborns never expected. The pack of werewolves came out of hiding and the sound of their growls filling their eardrums was a sound that made the newborns look at them in fear and the Cullens look at them with a smirk.

The werewolves immediately planted their teeth on the newborns' bodies, tossing them away and ripping them apart with Sam leading them.

Valerie, with her moves as smooth as Alice's, grabbed on a newborn's wrist and she twirled in the air like some kind of figure skater, causing her to rip the newborn's arm off her shoulders before going after the rest of her limbs, her elegance not faltering.

Her golden eyes caught a certain redhead who looks so much like her.

"Vicky." Valerie muttered.

Victoria looked at her sister that she had not seen for a very long time. the last time they saw each other, they were still human. Victoria has heard news about her sister surviving and had become a vampire. But the thought of facing Valeria after abandoning her was too much that she tried to stay away from her as possible.

But now she failed to do that.

Victoria widened her eyes in horror while she watches the newborns get torn up by huge werewolves and her sister looking right back at her. With panic filling her cold veins, she sprinted away.

Valerie went to go after her but multiple newborns keep coming after her that she had to deal with them first.

Then, a familiar reddish-brown werewolf just appeared on the battlefield, catching a newborn already with his razor-sharp teeth.

"Jacob just go there." Edward finally said something again.

The three girls and Seth stood by as they waited for the battle to go past the hard part.

Emmett was occupied with tearing apart a vampire when another tried to come after him by jumping towards him, only to be caught by a werewolf, Jacob, and be mauled.

"He's good." Edward informed the four.

Jasper uses his right hand to wrap it around a female newborn and crush her against the green grass, a loud thud to be heard before he proceeded to dodge one's punch and use his right hook to once again knock a newborn's head off.

Jasper could feel what his soulmate is feeling. He could feel how worried Luna is about him which made him want to finish this even more so he could finally wrap her in his arms.

Alice sprinted towards a newborn coming after her, though when she saw a werewolf coming after the vampire from behind, the pixie-haired girl threw herself up just above the wolf as it mauled the vampire.

Jasper, his speed never slowing down, comes after newborns one by one and ripped a head off of a vampire that was fighting a werewolf.

Esme uses her combat skills to knock down every newborn that she's in contact with before putting one on a headlock, letting Carlisle slice his hand through the newborn's neck, letting her head fall to the green grass.

A vampire was chasing after Alice and Jasper took it upon himself to throw himself towards the vampire and tackle him before ripping both his arms off of his shoulder as if it was simply a splinter from his palm.

Valerie finally had the chance to slip past the newborns and go after Victoria, letting herself be swallowed in the woods as she tried to follow her scent.

A bunch of vampires has come after Emmett but not even one has survived him. He caught sight of a werewolf which he recognizes as Paul being surrounded by the enemies. Emmett went to help him by swinging his arm towards an oncoming newborn that already sent him a couple of feet away before pulling off a vampire trying to tackle Paul, letting the werewolf take care of the last one that dared to touch the light gray majestic fur of his.

Paul mauled the last vampire who tried to tackle him and he made eye contact with Emmett, a sign of respect from each other before the two continued to rip apart newborns.

One female newborn who was simply a kid tried to come out of hiding and join the battle but she was immediately met by Carlisle and Esme who shared a hesitant glance about the girl.

Edward's facial expression changed when he started to hear the thoughts of a certain redhead vampire, and it's not Valerie.

"What? Is someone hurt?" Jackie asked, her voice holding concern for the coven and the pack, especially Alice.

"She's close. I can hear her thoughts." Edward said, terror plastered across his face.

The bronze-haired vampire turned to the werewolf that they are with before he spoke. "Seth, go."

The werewolf went to hide, hoping that Victoria hadn't noticed him yet.

"Get behind me." Edward told the three girls.

But instead of all three of them hiding behind Edward, Luna stood beside Edward as Bella and Jackie went behind them. Edward and Luna shared a glance, the two of them nodding at each other as they prepared for what's coming.

"She knew we weren't there but she caught my scent." Edward told them. "She knew Bella would be with me."

"She found us." Bella muttered.

Once again, his facial expression changed and he suddenly whipped his head towards Luna who was stood beside him.

"She's not alone." Edward said, the words more directed at Luna than the two other girls knowing that Luna would understand what he was saying.

He was there.

Jeremy was there.

As if on cue, two masculine figures with their skin as white as snow and their eyes as red as blood emerged from the sea of snow-coated trees. Riley and Jeremy walked with their bloodshot eyes fixated on the four, their presence rather daunting.

"Oh, Luna." Jeremy was the first one to speak.

The sound of his voice sent a disturbing chill to run down Luna's spine.

"Look at you, all tough. Contrary to the last time I saw you." Jeremy added, seeing how she was protecting Jackie and her sister.

"Well, the last time I saw you, you were crippled. I see nothing's changed." Luna retorted, trying desperately to calm the fast beating of her heart, which Jasper noticed.

Jasper's heart that was mirroring Luna's started to beat like crazy, letting him know that something happened to them and causing Jasper to become even more aggressive in his battle.

"Riley...Listen to me. Victoria's just using you to distract me. But she knows I'll kill you...both of you." Edward said, his gaze flickering from Riley to Jeremy.

Suddenly, a redhead appeared out of nowhere and jumped down, remaining crouched as she stares at Bella and Luna.

"In fact, she'll be glad she doesn't have to deal with you anymore." Edward stated.

The statement made Riley stop in his tracks, his head tilting as he became hesitant on whether or not he should believe Edward. But he heard the voice of the woman he loves that it made him change his mind again.

"Don't listen, Riley. I told you about their mind tricks." Victoria told him, trying to get his head back in the game, while Jeremy remained focused on the raven-haired girl.

"I can read her mind, so I know what she thinks of you."

"He's lying."

"She only created you and this army to avenge his true mate, James. It's the only thing she cares about. Not you."

Riley has become confused, and Luna could see it in his eyes. His baffled red eyes turned to Victoria, searching for a reply that would make him feel at ease. That would prove Edward wrong.

"There's only you...You know that." Victoria said.

Riley once again regained his stern gaze as he turned back to Edward, making the bronze-haired vampire try to convince him further.

"Think about it. You're from Forks, you know the area. That's the only reason she chose you." Edward told him.

He was getting to him. Edward was getting to Riley, and they all can see it which worried Victoria. Riley looked so confused, lowering his gaze to no longer look at any of them anymore.

"Riley..." Victoria called, Riley's disoriented look clearly seen when he turned to her.

"Don't let him do this to us. You know, I love you..." Victoria said with her soft voice, trying to relieve Riley of the confusion and doubt that he's feeling.

The newborn vampire turned away from the redhead, his perplexed expression taking over his whole face as the stern look from his dropped and his jaw started to clench. But the state only lasted for a few seconds.

When Riley's head turned towards the four, his stare started hardening as the weight of each step he took towards them became heavy. He stopped and his head rose slightly, a vile grin appearing.

"You're dead." Riley said.

And with that, Riley and Jeremy attacked the four. Seth was able to prevent Riley from reaching Edward while Luna, with her overflowing anger towards Jeremy getting the best of her, sprinted towards Jeremy to tackle him.

"Luna, no!" Luna heard Edward exclaim but it didn't stop her.

Luna tackled Jeremy causing them to roll over on the snow. Their hands gripping each other's clothes as they continued to struggle.

Edward went to fight Victoria, which he convinced to stay and finish this once and for all.

Bella and Jackie could only watch as the Edward, Seth, and Luna fought the others.

Because of Luna and Jeremy's continued struggle, the two had gone further away from the others, making their fight much more private.

The two managed to pull themselves away from each other, putting a safe distance between them as they slowly stand back up.

"Victoria did warn me about how your bound to another vampire, making you as strong as him." Jeremy said as he and Luna walked in circles.

"Alice couldn't see your future before, why is that?" Luna asked, her voice sounding demanding.

An eerie chuckle vibrated Jeremy's throat as the question was asked. It was something that he anticipated.

"Yeah, about that." Jeremy said, as if he only remembered it now. "Victoria also told me that some people already have special abilities and are only amplified once we're...vampires."

Luna furrowed her eyebrows, looking at him up and down cautiously.

"Turns out, I'm really good at mind games." Jeremy said, a mischievous grin planted on his lips.

"Where's the news there?" Luna said.

The two continued to walk in circles, Luna's guard never faltering even once.

"I made your psychic friend think that I'm dead, so that she won't see into my future." He said.

Luna admitted to herself that what Jeremy has was something that is powerful. And she'd be lying if she says she's not the slightest bit threatened about what Jeremy could do to her. After all, she is still human.

Jeremy's grin only widened as his red eyes started boring into Luna's skull, as if he was purposely trying to get in by simply glaring at her. Luna had no idea what he was planning until the world around her started to swirl around.

Her eyesight felt like she was betraying her. Everything around starting to get mixed and swirled together, like a bunch of paint. The loss of her proper eyesight caused the raven-haired girl to lose her balance, sitting on the ground.

"Get out of my head!" Luna exclaimed.

She knew that whatever was happening, was Jeremy's doing. And she was right. Because while she views the world around her spinning and swirling, Jeremy, and everyone else felt normal. He watches the girl stare blankly out of nowhere, trying to get out of his mind games.

"We haven't gone to the fun part yet." Jeremy muttered, his grin widened even more, if that was even possible.

The view around Luna in her own mind started to revert back into a steady picture. However, it wasn't an environment that Luna was comfortable seeing. It wasn't something that she wanted to go back to ever again.

She recognized the room. It was the one on the second floor of the house of one of the baseball players in her previous school. It was the house where the victory party of the baseball team was celebrated. It was the room where the worst night of her life had happened.

"No. No, no, no." Luna mumbled under her breath.

Looking down on her body, she saw her slightly torn top and her missing jeans. It was after she was raped.

No words could come out of Luna's mouth. Not because she didn't want to say anything. She actually wanted to. The problem is, she couldn't.

She felt her throat tightening, and she kept catching her breath as if the amount of oxygen she was inhaling wasn't enough. She was incredibly short of breath, like she was choking or something.

Luna thought that what she was experiencing is the result of another panic attack. But what was really happening is that Jeremy had already had his hand wrapped around her neck, squeezing it which caused her airways to close.

The lack of air entering her lungs made Luna's eyes water. Tears gathered in her gold eyes as she tried desperately to suck in some air. But she couldn't.

She knew that if she could see herself right now, she'd look purple.

Tears now trickled down her cheeks, and more poured down her face when she thought of Jasper. He was giving his all to end the fight to finally be with her again. She has to be there when he finishes. She has to. He can't find her lying in the middle of the woods with a crushed throat and dried tears coating her face. She couldn't even imagine what his reaction would be like.

But who was she kidding? She can't fight Jeremy on her own. He's a newborn vampire with special abilities. She was a human who simply has a few vampire qualities. She's more disposable than him.

Jasper, during the battle, felt his whole body weaken when he felt his soulmate's heart started to slow down. He fell to his knees as he clutched the fabric that was on top of his chest. He couldn't fight.

Rosalie noticed his adoptive sibling kneeling on the ground with a bunch of newborns coming after him. She never ran as fast as she did right now when she went to decapitate each and every newborn that tried to attack Jasper.

"Jasper. What's happening?" Rosalie asked.

Jasper swallowed hard, gathering enough energy to answer Rosalie despite the pain that he is feeling.

"Something's happening to Selene." He said.

Slowly, Luna was beginning to see spots of white, like her eyesight is being taken away from her due to the lack of air circulating in her body.

Before the spots of white could take over her sight completely, a huge rock was banged against Jeremy's head, causing it to crack.

A loud grunt escaped the newborn's lips and he turned behind him to see Jackie with a furious look on her face.

"Let her go, you asshole." Jackie said.

One corner of Jeremy's lips curled upward before he lets go of Luna and throws her against a tree trunk, all while his gaze was fixated on Jackie.

Jackie couldn't help but gulp as the newborn vampire approached her, causing her to take steps backward.

Jeremy could practically smell the fear radiating off of Jackie. His eerie grin stretched even more before he speeds his way towards Jackie which made her gasp in shock.

Jackie thought this was it. That she was gonna die at the hands of a vampire rapist. But before she knew it, a certain raven-haired girl tackled the newborn vampire. Luna pushed Jeremy face down on the ground with her weight, her hands immediately wrapping around Jeremy's arms.

With gritted teeth, she started to pull his arms away from his body. the thought of the things he did to her, the thought of how he ruined her life, how he broke her, stuck into her mind as she was well aware of the very thing she is doing to him right now. And she used his fury towards the guy to finally give him what he deserves. Death.

Jackie winced at the sound of his arms slowly ripping from his shoulders and Luna pulled harder, successfully yanking his arms off and tossed it aside.

Jeremy let out an ear-piercing scream before Luna reached for his head and decapitated him, letting it fall from her hands as she gets off of Jeremy's body.

Luna, looking like she's in a daze, staggered backward from the torn body. Her whole body was still trembling in fear.

Jackie couldn't stop herself from dropping to the ground when her knees started to shake. Her eyes closed as she tries to get the image of Jeremy's body being ripped apart out of her head.

The two human girls remained in their position with similar frightened expression plastered across their faces, trying to regain their composure before they could try to stand up.

Meanwhile, Edward was now struggling to fight both Riley and Victoria. The two were already about to rip Edward's arms and head off when Bella picked up a sharp rock and slice her arm, crimson blood trickling down her skin.

The three vampires averted their eyes towards the human when they immediately smelled the scent of her sweet blood. It was as if Riley and Victoria were captivated, so much that it distracted them from Edward which allowed him to push the two away from him.

Riley attacked Edward while Victoria went straight to Bella.

The human gasped in shock but before the vampire could reach her, another redhead appeared in the area and her voice caused her to snap out of her bloodlust.

"Victoria!" Valerie called out.

Victoria whipped her head towards the direction of where the voice came from and her red eyes landed on someone she didn't want to see.

"Val." Victoria muttered under her breath.

Victoria already saw her earlier while she was fighting the newborns but now that she's seen her up close, she couldn't stop staring.

Valerie wanted to cry, but no tears were able to produce. But that didn't stop Victoria from noticing how pained, sad, and relieved she was when Valerie saw her.

"Come home with me, Vicky." Valerie said, her voice cracking. "If you continue to choose this path, we will kill you."

Edward managed to toss Riley towards Seth and the werewolf bit him on the shoulders before dragging him away where he could rip him apart.

The bronze-haired vampire watched the two sisters, waiting and hoping that Victoria would choose wisely. But the vampire was too blinded with vengeance for his mate that she rejected her own sister who she hadn't seen for centuries.

Victoria averted her eyes away from Valerie and back to Bella before she attacked her.

Valerie speeds towards Victoria and grabbed her by the neck before throwing her away from Bella and towards Edward.

The bronze-haired vampire effortlessly caught Victoria by the neck as well and slammed her against the snowy ground before bringing his teeth to her neck which decapitated the redhead.

Victoria's body falls to the ground with her head separated. Valerie felt her world crumble as she dropped to the ground next to her sister's body. For centuries, all she wanted was to be reunited with her sister again. But now she finally realized that it was silly of her to chase someone who was only wearing the face of her sister. That wasn't Victoria. She was something else. And she needed to die.

A few moments later, Alice and Jasper arrived at the campsite with similar worried expressions. their gazes roamed around the area, but all they could see was Edward, Bella, Valerie, Seth, and Victoria's body.

"Where's Jackie and Luna?" asked Alice, her voice holding obvious worry for her girlfriend and her best friend.

Jasper's furious gaze turned to Edward and in a second, Jasper was already in front of Edward.

"Where is Selene?" He growled.

Edward used his ability to read minds to try and search for Luna's thoughts, and when he did, he immediately spoke.

"She's down there with Jackie." Edward said, nodding in the direction where he could hear them.

Jasper and Alice instantly sped away to go after their mates.

Luna and Jackie still remained on the ground, the trembling had died down but the shock hadn't. Jackie simply hugged her knees and buried her face on her knees while Luna stared at the decapitated head of her rapist.

Slowly, she grabbed the same huge rock that Jackie used to crack Jeremy's head and holds it up. She smashed Jeremy's head with the rock, shattering it into small pieces.

Jackie looked up from her knees to try and stop Luna when she lifts the rock and smashed it back down onto his head.

"Luna, he's dead." Jackie told her, but Luna didn't listen.

Another pool of tears gathered in Luna's eyes as she smashed his head repeatedly with the rock, the impact increasing as she proceeded on crushing his head into tiny pieces.

She despised him so much. Him and Hannah. She hates them so much that it was eating her up. She had to get the anger out of her. She wasn't satisfied that Jeremy' already dead. She wasn't satisfied because she could still see his face.

Therefore, she smashed his head into tiny pieces, not leaving any clue of whose head and body that is.

"Jackie!" Alice exclaimed, causing the short-haired brunette to snap her gaze towards the pixie-haired girl and run towards her, hugging each other instantly.

Jasper saw his soulmate on the ground with a huge rock in her hands as she brings it down to the decapitated head repeatedly. He ran towards her and grabs her hands, turning her attention towards him.

"Hey, hey, hey. It's okay. You're okay." Jasper said, taking the rock from her hands before placing his hands on her tear-stained cheeks to wipe away the tears.

"Is it over?" Luna asked, her voice cracking in the process.

Jasper nodded, a small smile to assure her. "It's over, darlin'."

Luna's lower lip quivered before the two pulled each other into an embrace, something that they have been longing for ever since they became apart.

The fear of now being with Luna scared the shit out of Jasper. But now that he was with her again, he has tightened his grip around her, not wanting to let go of her any longer.

They survived the storm. However, as one might say. Defeat a demon today, face the devil tomorrow.

7045 freaking words. 7045 FREAKING WORDS IN THIS CHAPTER. OH MY GOD. I normally write 2k-4k words in each chapter and this chapter has been by far the longest chapter I have ever written. Ngl, it's not perfect. I know there will be a lot of typos and some poorly written scenes. But I'm so lazy to edit them now (even though I just a 7000-word chapter) so I'm gonna do the editing later on.

Anyway, the next chapter will be the last chapter for act two! Eclipse is coming to an end and I wish it would on a good note, but it's not. So...let's wait for the next chapter to be up. :)
