"AHHH!"

"Ruff! Tuff! What did I say about messing with Snotlout!" They rolled their eyes as Snotlout jumped into a small cove, taking the fire out that was burning his butt.

"You said stop messing with Snotlout- We know!" They groan, as they get off Barf and Belch.

"Um Hiccup, what are we doing here again?" Fishlegs asks, as Hiccup tears his helmet off and looks around.

"I'm getting major PTSD" Eret says, before helping Astrid off her deadly nadder. Hiccup looks at the two, before looking around the island.

"Eret, you barely lived in Berk- unlike us we were born here" Hiccup mutters under his breath, with an eye roll.

Astrid and Hiccup dated for a couple years, and then broke up some time after Drago Bludvist came. Just as Grimmel the Grisly came, which was almost a year ago.

He honestly wasn't mad that they broke up, he was upset about how fast she went to the next guy and it was one of his closest friends- Eret. He didn't want to sound rude towards the guy but ever since, he hasn't truly been the nicest. Even though it was a year ago, Eret and her started dating right after Grimmel the Grisly attacked them.

"I see someone definitely had their fun around here" Astrid remarks, looking through the forest of trees and seeing the demolished old Berk.

"Okay we're only staying for a couple nights, just to see if a dragon comes along here" They all nod, before making themselves around camp comfortably.

"Hey bud" Toothless comes beside Hiccup and nudges his head on him, as Hic continued to work on his peg leg.

"Come on- I'm working" Toothless knew something was up with Hiccup.

Toothless nudges Hiccup again, and he sighs putting down his tool.

"My birthday is in a couple days- It's gonna be our 10th birthday without each other" Toothless knew who he was talking about.

Hiccup would talk a lot about Noor to Toothless, missing her a lot at times. He'd tell him stories and things they did before she left Berk. It was mostly during flights, when they were by themselves.

When everyone went to bed, Hiccup got on Toothless and they hovered a little bit in the sky under the bright stars.

"I wonder what she looks like now" Hiccup tells himself, as Toothless lets out a growling laugh.

"Hey- just because you got kids now doesn't mean you're any better than me mister" Toothless roars happily. Him and the light fury- now named Luna, had three of their own hatchlings.

"I can only imagine the look on her face seeing me riding a dragon" Hiccups says with a laugh, making Toothless look at him weird.

"You know she taught me that trick to let the dragons come to my palm, ever since we trained that monstrous nightmare it's worked..."

"You know I wouldn't be surprised if she rode a... Skrill or something- I'm sure she'd find a way not to get electrocuted" He tells himself, laying flat on his back on Toothless.

"Oh and her face finding out I'm Chief! The look on her face!" Hiccup laughs, before letting out a sigh and petting Toothless's wing.

"I wish you could have met her bud, you would have loved her..." With another sigh, he yells out with a stretch- scaring Toothless for a second.

"I miss her bud- To be honest, I'd say she was my first love"

"Nuri! Are you racing today?" Pansy asks Noor barging into her room, as she was getting ready in her room.

"Pansy, what did I say about knocking?"

"Yeah, but that's not fun" Noor rolls her eyes before putting her sharp dagger on to her thigh holster.

"What are you doing here?" Noor asks her little sister suspiciously, as the little one wanders around her room.

"I was wondering if I can paint your face today!"

"No-"

"Come on please! Bubba won't let me! Please!!" Noor let's out a groan, before getting up and grabbing some paint.

"Fine, just please don't make it look bad"

"I promise- Mommy showed me this one!" She exclaims excitedly, making Noor sit criss-crossed on the floor in front of her.

Pansy just used the blue paint and started painting lines on Noor's face. When she was done, Noor looked in the mirror.

"Dang, this is actually pretty good Pans!" Pansy blushed and hugged Noor's legs. Noor bent down and picked up the girl, giving her kisses all over her face.

They walk out of their home and the clatter of the whole village filled their ears. Announcements over the huge horns about the race today erupted their ears.

"Okay, I got to go and take care of some stuff"

"Aren't you gonna race?" Pansy asks innocently.

"Yeah, yeah whatever" She huffs and quickly goes to run to where she thinks their mom is. Pansy wore white fluffy big boots and leggings with a long sleeved blue dress.

Noor ran to her home and chuckled seeing Nightflare, digging his face into a basket of fish.

"Good morning to you, Nightflare" Noor greets, getting a harmless growl in response. She start grabbing random foods and clothing, stuffing it into the dragon satchel. She looks up to see her dragon looking at her weird.

"Remember we're gonna go on a little trip to Berk? We gotta pack a few things! Oh and including this, I can try to put this on and see if it looks good!" She said, grabbing her black armor that was made out of black and dark blue dragon scales.

She had another one before, but in her opinion she felt like it was missing something- So she redid it.

She put the huge satchel on Nightflare with a big huff, then cracking her fingers. Whispering a small okay, she walks out of her house.

Noor looks around cautiously, hoping she wouldn't get caught by her dad- But it didn't work.

"Noor!" She groans as she turns, turning the distress into the best smile she can muster. Her dad jumped off his dragon from flying it and starts to fix the saddle.

"Yeah dad?"

"You're going to be at the race, correct?"

"Actually... About that" He turns to Noor, turning his full attention towards her and not his dragon, Rath.

"Noor, you know it's your duties as a chief to always participate in things"

"And yet since I'm the chief... I make the rules..." He gives her a pointed look, before letting Rath fly off and do his own thing.

"Noor-"

"Dad please! I want to start making my own decisions as chief! But you keep telling me what to do and such- is defeating the whole purpose of me being chief and not you..." He let out a sigh, before she added one last thing.

"You did retire..." Noor mutters, looking at her nails innocently. He rolled his eyes before glancing at her again.

"Fine- What do you even want to do instead?"

"Explore... Other islands... For just a couple of days" She says hoping he wouldn't question it any further, and he eyes her skeptical.

"Ok, can you just at least be there for the first round and then you can leave" I think about it for a second and shrug with a nod.

~noors pov

"You're so going to lose, Lennox" Kali cockily says, on her dragon beside me.

"Oh I don't know about that"

"Noor! You're oddly very good at this- so please go easy on me!" Ezekiel yells, flinging his arms and I chuckle.

"First one to put the most in their basket WINS!" Everyone got in their stances as it was about to quickly start.

"If you get the black sheep! It's an automatic win!"

"Come on boy, let's make this quick" I whisper, close to Nightflare so he could hear- getting a nod and growl in response.

"Three! Two... ONE! GO! GO!" Immediately, I let Nightflare take control of where we go. He makes his wings flap hard, turning us around seeing a running sheep. During these things, Nightflare becomes very serious- so his senses always heighten. He's pretty competitive.

So he gets all the credit when we win at the very end of matches.

He quickly ducks down, and I keep tightly holding on to his reins and my legs tightly around the saddle. He dives and captures two sheep at the same time, quickly flying back to our spot and dropping them in the basket.

"Chief Noor- and Griffin with 3 points and Kali with 2- then Ezekiel with 4 points in the lead!"

I duck down as Nightflare captures two more sheep, right under a tree. He throws them in the basket- and then I think he senses the black sheep was let out.

He jerks back, and we both see the flying black sheep tossed high in the air. But before we got it, Kali got it on her monstrous nightmare.

"Haha sucker!" She yells as Griffin comes beside her. He jumps off his dragon, jumping on hers and tries to take the sheep.

"No it's mine!" She screeches, pushing his face as he pulls on the sheep.

"Oh come on I've never gotten to get the black sheep!"

"Oh shut up! You got one yesterday!"

"It was because I was out on sheep cleaning duty!" He yells back at his girlfriend, as they continue to shove at each other and try to take the sheep from one another.

I smirk, as Nightflare flew under them and I climbed on to Falkor- Kali's dragon. At first I had to swing myself on to his tail, and then I finally steadied myself on the dragon.

I dodged the spikes on the dragons back, and ran at full speed towards the fighting couple. I jump far up, doing an aerial cartwheel, grabbing the black sheep.

"Good time knowing you guys!" I say, with a small salute with my other hand and jumping off her dragon, with the sheep in my arms.

"What the hell Griff?!"

"HAHA!" I shout as I threw the sheep into the basket quickly.

"A win for, Chief!" Cheers erupt and groans were heard from the riders, as I smirked at them.

Then, I directed Nightflare to fly away from Eunoia. I gave a quick goodbye to my family and then we flew off.

I didn't want to waste any time, and gave my dad a small thanking nod.

We flew for a couple of hours. I must have not realized how long this journey was before- but dang!

"Wanna- wait we're here Nightflare!" I shout as I point down to the familiar island. Nightflare lets out a small roar looking at the clouds we're right below.

"Come on, let's get down quick boy" I say, giving him a small pat. He starts to fly down on Berk, and it starts sprinkling.

"Right here" He gets on the ground and I climb off him. With the help of him, as he directs his wing to the ground so I can walk off it safely.

We approach the best standing house there was and walked in. Doing so, Nightflare teared the opening wider with his body. Destroying everything in his path he lays down on the ground comfortably. I laugh, as he cuddles into the ground softly. I stretch before sitting beside him, and letting myself lay against him. He wraps his wing around me safely, and I cuddle into his sleeping side.

"I'm sure the rain will stop soon" I muttered, before hearing a loud boom of thunder.

"Well- maybe..."
