"But if anyone knows they're number- NOW'S A GOOD TIME TO CALL! IT!"

I push Amy, Chris, and Tails out of the way. Sonic taking a leeping start and tries to kick and attack them. Only him to go straight past them. He lands back on the ground and looks back. "Maybe there is such thing has ghosts after all!" "You think??" I yell out. Tails getting grab by the ghost hands and tried to pull him into the portal. I use all my strength I could to pull him back. Half of his body through the portal. My feet on the wall as I try to pull him out. "HANG ON, TAILS!" I yell. My hands beginning to slip as his eyes pleading for me not to let go. Until a ghost hand came into contact with my face. Pushing me back harshly. Making me let go of Tails who yells out. As he now disappears into the portal.

I land on the floor with a thud. Amy helping me back up. Sonic staring at the portal furiously. Ordering the ghosts to bring back our friend. The ghost just let out a childish laughter and grabs Sonic. Pulling him also into the portal. "SONIC!" We all scream in unison. Sonic's body nearly through the portal. He quickly throws something to me. "Y/N CATCH!" I quickly caught the hourglass statue. "Don't worry about me! I'll be okay! Find out what the thing is for! It might be the cause of all of this!-" The portal began to close itself back up. I quickly grab the remaining rock before it closes up the portal for good. Not wanting to lose Sonic too.

"No! I'm not going to leave you, Sonic!" I told him. Grabbing out to him, but the rock piece flew out of my hands. Sonic winks at me. His smile never leaving his face. As the portal finally closes up. I look at the wall with wide eyes. Looking down at the hourglass in my hand...I wasn't fast enough...

"NO SONIC!!" Amy screamed out. Taking out her hammer and bashing the wall over and over. Trying to reopen it again. "BRING HIM BACK! YOU HEAR ME!!? RIGHT NOW! YOU CAN'T. TAKE. MY. Sonicc...." She falls to her knees sobbing. Embracing me into a hug as she cries. Chris coming over to also comfort Amy. I held in my tears...I can't cry...I won't let it get to me. I refuse to fail so easily!

"Get up, Amy. He isn't gone. They have him trapped somewhere. I know it...Sonic doesn't get defeated easily...C'mon. I know what to do." I sucked in my tears. Ripping off half of my gown. Letting my legs out more freely. And stretching out the back so I was able to move around more. "...Let's go save Sonic." I said seriously.

"Is this where you and Sonic found that thing... Because if it is, I don't see what this thing has to do with those ghosts?" Says Amy, having a hand on her hip. "Think about it...We really weren't having any problems until this thing...I remember seeing the Camera guy moving it for the movie shot...And read what it says on it!"

I point my finger on the word plate that says 'appears under the moon. Disappears under the sun.' I began to investigate it. Looking around the pillar. Looking at the hourglass at the same time...One side has a moon and the other has a sun... Does it mean the actual celestial bodies in space...or is it talking about this?...

I then felt a cold breeze by my legs... Noticing the grass only near the pillar was moving. Sticking my hand under and began to feel. "...Hmm..." "What's the matter, Y/N." Amy asked me. "There's a breeze coming from the base....there's definitely a hidden passageway down here... Seeing how this place look centuries years old- it would be normal for it to have hidden areas. Care to do the honors, Amy."

Amy lifts up her hammer high up. And wacks it straight on the side of the pillar. Causing it to move up. Revealing a passageway staircase. "Heh, whaddya know. I was right... Naturally." I chuckle. Looking down the stairs. Chris and Amy also looking down at it in curiousness as well. "Do you think we should go take a look?" Chris asks out loud. Making me dead pan. "No, I think we should come back later...Of course, Chris! That's the whole point of this!" I scold my younger cousin.

"We may be able to rescue Sonic! Let's go!" Amy begins to walk down the stairs. Until Chris stops her. "Wait! It might be dangerous down there!" Chris tells her with worried in his eyes. "Chris- this is Amy we're talking about...She carries a hammer ten times her size. I feel more safer with her." I reassure my cousin. Amy looking up at me with sparkles in her green eyes.

"You... really see me like that?" She asked me. "Of course! Your Amy Rose! But I think Rosey the Rascal is more of your fitting. Your pretty and strong. Best of both worlds. Now c'mon! Let's go save our friends. I hope they are alright." I begin to walk down with Amy.

"But!- don't you think we should let the police check it out? I mean-"

"If your scared Chris, you can stay there and we'll take it from here."

"I'm not scared! I-...hey wait for me!!"

We began to walk down the never ending flight of stairs. Thank goodness I took off those heels. No way I would of survived. My boots gave us some type of light through the dark passage. Me still holding the hourglass statue in my grip. I couldn't help but look at the determination in Amy's eyes. I did feel kind of bad though-

After all I am aware of her feelings for Sonic. And how much she adores him and loves him so much. After all I'm pretty sure she's known him longer way more than me. (Obviously) And I know Sonic only sees her as a good friend- but I really don't want to be the reason her heart is crushed... Speaking of which... I call dibs not it to tell her. I'll leave that for Sonic.

Walking down some more. Hopefully getting closer to the bottom. I know it is Chris standing rather closely behind me. Looking back and forth constantly. "Don't tell me you're scared, Chris~" Amy teases him. "Of course I'm scared aren't you, two??" Amy bravely declined that fact she was scared ... That is until a drop of water drips down onto her shoulder. Scaring the everlasting chaos out of her. Making her scream out in terror.

We now reached the end of the stairs. Amy holding onto my arm. "Remember, ghost love it if they see you're scared! So if you run into one, stay calm." Amy warns us. "Hah! You kidding! I'm not afraid of those ugly ectoplasmic weirdos." I said smugly, trying to cover up the fact that it was kind of terrified... That is until a bunch of laughter came swarming our way. And four different ghosts come towards us. Making us panic.

"I TAKE IT BACK! I TAKE IT BACK!!" Lifting up the statue and swinging it left and right. Like it was actually going to do something, but it just felt like a normal instinct. The ghost took one look at the hourglass and they're terrifying sharp grinning faces. Turned into a terrified frown. Them quickly flying off in horror.

"Huh? It seems like they're scared of that thing!" Chris points out the obvious. I smirked evily as I came up with an idea. Holding it in my possession closely...Oh I was gonna have fun with this. Amy looking at my expression and copies it too. Already catching on what I was gonna do. "Time to outdo the doer!" "Let's show those spooky ghosts that we can out spook them!" Amy pulling on my hand and leading me down the same way the ghost went. Chris catching up.

We watched as the ghost go straight through a wooden door. I had a strange suspicion about behind the door. Let alone it was the only door in that room. But I couldn't let fear overpower me just yet. I need to make sure my friends and family are safe first...then I can have nightmares for a week. We walk up to the wooden door. Getting prepared to open it. "You guys ready?.." They both gulp but nod in response. Amy taking the thing from my hands. "Don't worry, Y/N! I'll protect you." She said with a cute smile. How could I say no to that adorable face. I let her go ahead first. She opens the door slowly. Holding out The hourglass statute first just in case. As we walk in side of the room. There was nothing in the room but a window...but I notice something. I slowly lift my head up. "...G-...Guys?.." I stutter out.

"Y/N! Amy! Up here!

They both lift their heads up to see all of our friends in some type of dome like thing. All of our friends seeming to be knocked out. Meanwhile Sonic was looking down at us. "SONIC!" We all shout together. "Are you okay??!" I yelled in a worried tone of voice. "There's not much time, so listen!-... I've always loved you Amy." My face shifted...what the **** did he just say. Me and Chris both looked at each other confused. Meanwhile Amy looked all bashful. "You can free me if you put that stone into the space on the wall."

... Sonic's voice sounded odd...and Sonic doesn't see Amy like that-

Amy blushes more. Holding on to The hourglass statue. Looking over at the space. Going over to it. "Is this where it goes?" Amy asked 'Sonic.' "Wonderful, Amy. Now place that stone into the space on the wall with the moon side facing upwards!" He orders her... Yeah, that's not freaking Sonic.

Before Amy could even think about placing it up. I quickly snatch it from her hands. "Oh?! Y/N! What are you doing! We need to save Sonic!" She tried to grab it from my hands. But all I do is push her back slightly. "Amy, it doesn't take a genius to know that- THAT isn't sonic!" I try to tell her. Until the voice of 'Sonic' cut me off.

"Don't listen to her, Amy. She's just jealous because she loves me. She's been trying to take me away from you ever since we first met. But I only love you."

Nuh-uh-

I know a ghost isn't trying to spread rumors about me-

Without realizing, Amy had taken out her hammer and slams it down near me. Causing me to back up quickly and dropping the hourglass. Amy looking at me with anger in her eyes. "How could you!! You are supposed to be my best friend how could you try to take my boyfriend away from me!" "WHAT??!" I looked at her in disbelief. Watching as she places The hourglass on top on the space. The fake Sonic's voice telling her how amazing she was. "Wait! Amy don't!!" I tried to stop her but it was to late. The moon side was now glowing brightly. Causing a giant beam of light to shoot out of it.

We watched interior as behind us a giant / huge ghost appeared in front of us. A terrifyingly wide Sharp grin. With tiny red and yellow beady eyes. Him and the rest of the ghost looking at us and mockingly laughing. "Where did he come from!!?" Amy yelled out. "AMY!! I TOLD YOU NOT TO DO IT!" "BUT SONIC-"

"Thank you, Amy."

The ghost had mocked Sonic's voice. Making Amy now realize that I was telling the truth. The ghost laugh out from her believing in their trick. "I'm done with this game! Time to make like Pac-Man and beat some ghost ..more does he eat them-... Doesn't matter. They're still going down!"

"You don't have a chance against that thing. Don't even think about taking it on!" Sonic warned me. Basically telling me not to do it.

I crack my knuckles. Flying up to the Ghost and trying to throw down a kick. Just for my rocket boots to go straight through it. The ghost just disappearing. "Does anyone know how to beat something that doesn't have a solid form??" I yell out irritated. Just for a ghost hand to come and grab me...until Amy quickly shoves me away. Letting her get grabbed.

"AMY!!!" I yell out. Watching as the ghost grips onto my friend tightly. Yelling at it so let her go and release her... And to my horror a ghost had went straight inside of Amy ... knocking her out. I screamed out for her once more. The ghost dropping her body onto the cold floor. Quickly running over and sliding my knees onto the ground. Rushing over to her side. "Amy! Amy please wake up! I will slap you if you get possessed!! Amy Rose!" I yell at her. Hoping she was okay.

"GAH!" I quickly backed up. Falling on my rear end as she floats up. "Oh no no no!! I don't play with this crap! GET OUT OF MY FRIEND GHOST!" I yell out in fear. Heck yeah I was scared- you would be to if A FREAKING GHOST WAS CHASING AFTER YOU WITH A HAMMER!!!

"Stop interfering with my plans! Or you'll never leave this Castle!"

She chases after me and Chris. Slamming the hammer inches and inches closer towards us. Chris somehow managing to trip over a freaking stone. As he looks up at me I'll stretching his hand. "Go, leave me here!" "Boy! Get up!" I yank his hand up and just drag him before we both got mashed. The ghosts laughing tauntingly at our pathetic chance of escaping.

"Chris! Keep letting her chase you! I'll get the hourglass!"

"Why do I have to be the one to get chase!"

"Because I said so! Now go!" I push him slightly. Not wasting any time and quickly running over to the hourglass. Watching as the ghost possessing Amy- it's face turned into horror. "HEY! UGO GHOST-O!" I yell out to the giant ghost. Grabbing onto the hourglass with both hands. "Say hello- TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!!" Turning it over and slamming it down on the sun side. Watching as a giant beam of light shines down onto the ghost. Sonic breaking free from his capsule and quickly zooming over to Amy. Lifting up his hand and neck chopping her in the side. The ghost leaving out of her body.

I slide my back into the hard wall. Taking a breather. Watching as they Sonic and Amy began to fight the ghost off. Because their powers were now restricted. They could now easily hit them. I looked over to also notice that everyone who was trapped, was now free. Cream and Cheese running to my side and hugging me tightly. Tails also coming over to join. "You saved us!...thank you so very much.." Said Cream...and Cheese too I think? I told them it was nothing. And lifted myself back up. Going over to Chris who was trying to wake his mom up. Ella also standing next the them.

"Aunty??" I shake her. That finally woke her up. She lifts her head up. And her million dollar smile made its way to her face. "Chris? Y/N... How did I do want that take?" Lindsay said, believing that she was still shooting for her movie. Chris tried to correct her...until she noticed my dress. "Y/N!! Your dress!!?" She panicked. Looking at the rip up bottom part, my makeup kinda smudge, and of course- heels no where to be found. I just laugh sheepishly. "It's a long story..."

"Y/N! Get going, NOW! Get everyone out safely!" He orders me. "Roger! Alright! Everyone go! Quickly!" I tell them. Tails quickly throwing a ring over to Sonic to give him a power boost. Before following everyone else out of the room. "Hold up! Give me a sec!" I quickly ran over to where the hourglass statue was. Quickly taking it back and running over to the door.

Expecting them to be gone by now, but just to see Aunt Lindsay complaining about her heels and the stairs... Somehow still making herself believe that this was an action film. Hearing allowed tumbling and crashing noise. Sonic came to us in the speed of light. "I thought you'd all be out by now!" I tells us. "I thought so to- did you beat the ghost?" I asked him. With his usual prideful smirk, he claimed he did. As well as throwing a pun saying 'they didn't stand a ghost of a chance.' Making me cringe and laugh at his awful pun.

My laughing then died down when the ghost breaks through the wooden door. And comes right at us. "Okay! Time to go!!!" I quickly swoop up Cream and Cheese as Sonic lifts up Aunt Lindsey. Us all running up the stairs for dear life. "Okay, maybe I was wrong!" "Did you find that out before or after he started chasing us!?"

Finally managing to get out of the Underground passageway. Amy quickly slamming her hammer on the side to close it. As I slam the statue back down and it's original place... Just for me to realize I had slammed it on the wrong side. "DAMN!" I yelled out. Seeing the moon side was up. "I messed it up..." I pinch the bridge of my nose. Sonic winking at me and holding up his thumb. "Yup! Big time." "Not helping." "Wasn't trying too." I step on his shoe making him yell out in pain.

"That was fun, but I didn't know this was a fantasy film!" Lindsey said really impressed with the whole situation... Even if somehow her delusional mind still thought it was all a part of an act. "Those special effects were incredibly realistic." ".... Whatever you say Aunty... Yawn!" I yawned. Really tired and had gotten no sleep. My eyelids growing slightly heavy, before the sound of the director and two other people behind him shouted over to Lindsay.

They're worried expressions now filled with relief. The cop, who followed behind him, had complete amazement and shock in his eyes. "Nobody has ever got away from the ghost down there before!" ... This has to be the first time where a cop in any type of scene actually believes in ghosts and doesn't try to play this out like some type of Scooby Doo episode.

"What exactly are they? WHO exactly are they? Where did they all even come from?" I questioned the cop. "Well, some folks say this place seats on an ancient burial ground. When the man who built the castle heard legends about ghosts, he laughed and said they were nonsense. Then the man disappeared the first night he stayed there. And nobody ever saw him again..." .....

"Yeah, I'm not sleeping for the next couple of weeks."
