I blink my eyes owlishly. Did I hear him correctly? Maybe it's the wind blowing in my ear that I missed heard him. And as if he read my thoughts. He asks me again. "Come back to my world with me." Yup, I heard him right. Does he actually mean it or is he just playing? I laugh nervously, and looked away. "Haha, wouldn't that be uh something."I wasn't entirely sure on how to directly answer that.

"I mean it. I want you to come back with me! Image all the adventures we can go on! We could also use your help trying to beat Eggman once and for all! Especially for the fact that your just as smart as him! You can help Tails at his work shop. You can pick flowers with Cream, you can bake with Amy, you can even hang out with Knuckles! He seems to like you!" His gaze turns over to me. The sun reflecting his green eyes so magically.

I didn't know how to properly answer this. His world sounded like a play straight out of a dream. Somewhere, where I feel like I can belong. It's not like I really care for my adopted parents...but Ella, Mr. Tanaka, Chuck, and Mr and Mrs Thorndike have made me feel so much like family. It was hard to decide.

I felt Sonic's hand touch my face. "I'll give you time to think about it. You don't have too all at once...Though, I really hope you say yes. Because saying goodbye to you...will probably be the hardest thing I'll ever do." Sonic confesses...does he really think so much of me like this. I'm flattered, but don't understand what I've done to deserve this?

Trying to find something quickly to distract him from the question. "Whoa! Sonic look! The water ...its enchanting!" I gasp. Which made him also look down. The water was as blue as sapphires. Given the name "The Grand Blue Sapphire Sea." Truly was a clarity to say the least. "Whoa, your right it is beautiful." He agreed.

My mouth widens into a open smile. It was so incredibly gorgeous, it was hard to put into words. My mind snap back into reality when I heard someone tapping on the window of the cockpit. Amy waving her hand and pointing over at Tails. He must need something. I told Sonic that Tails needed me and that I'll be right back. Flying over to the cockpit, and leaning over it to see what the boy genius wanted. "You call?" I ask him through the glass. Surprisingly, he heard me very well.

"Check out the chaos emerald!" He tells me. Adjusting my goggles as I took a closer look at the Chaos Emerald that was powering up the X Tornado. It was glowing! "Wait- Does this mean another Emerald is near by-" my sentence was cut off when the plane began to shake and the jet can be heard rattling.

My boots having a magnetic grip onto the plane so I didn't fall off. But I still clutched on for dear life. "DIDN'T THE SAME THING HAPPENED WHEN WE FLEW OVER DIAMOND STADIUM???" I shouted out. Then started to put two and two together. Sense we were over the water...the Chaos Emerald must be underwater!

"Guys! I think there is one under the water!" I yelled out again. They're faces turning serious. "Your right, Y/N! We need to go find it!" Amy tells me. I nod my head to her. And fly over to Sonic. Telling him the gist of what was going on. He nods his head understanding. "I'll see you guys down shore. Don't be slow~" I wink at him. Just for him to make a dramatic gasp as if I offended him. Kicking off, and flying down off the plane.

We landed near a type of island resort. It was beautiful and so relaxing. With blue skies, palm trees, and crystal blue water. We all stayed together as a group, wondering down the place. "Ah! Nice place here!" Sonic stretches his arms out. "Yeah ...but let's try and keep a low profile, okay? I don't feel like getting chased by the same paparazzi again." I tell everyone. Getting PTSD just thinking about the flashes of the cameras.

"Hey! Isn't that Sonic the Hedgehog and Kid Genius?"

"Yes, that's them!"

"I wonder what their doing here??"

"Their they are!!!"

"Let's get their autographs!"

"I want to hold her hand!!!"

We turned around. And spoke to soon once again- there was a huge crowd of people chasing after us. My flight or fight reflex kicked in. Obviously I would get in trouble for putting my hands on other people...even if they started it- so obviously I went with the flight method. Picking up Cream and Cheese so they didn't get left behind, and started to run ahead. Chris, Sonic, Tails and Amy following right after.

After a while, we finally found a safe spot on the beach where we were SURE no one would find us. "Ugh!!! Can't people take a hint!! Like SERIOUSLY, being a fan is one thing! But going bonkers and nearly hurting us is a WHOLE new type of crazy!..." I shouted, kicking the sand in frustration. "You all are alright though?" I asked them. Cooling my temper. They all nod. "Thanks for worrying about us, Y/N...I just wish we could blend in with the crowd, but that seems impossible." She pink hedgehog said sadly. "We all stick out to much..." Cream adds on with a sadder tone.

"Guys guys, why would you even want to blend in? We are the LAST people you want to blend in with. You guys are amazing, and they even know that. Sometimes, humans just don't have boundaries." I tried to reassure them. "Kid Genius is right. I mean, your different from this world. That's why they act like this. Even though they should respect boundaries. But then again, they've been doing this to Kid Genius for years." He pointed out.

"Well, at least we lost that crowd for a little while. Besides, were supposed to be having fun right? C'mon, let's not worry about the negative. We're here to enjoy ourselves. You all have worked hard and done a lot for this planet. Let's get this vacation ON!" I fist bump the air. All of them cheering in unison.

"Yeah! Let's all go for a swim while we have a chance." Amy smiles in joy. "Hey- didn't Sonic run here with us? Where did he go?" Cream questioned. Which was a good question. Where did he go? Blue dude was literally JUST with us? How did we manage to lose a blue hedgehog of ALL things???

"Maybe he decided to go look for the Emerald by himself." Chris chips in. Well, he wasn't wrong. Sonic did have a knack for just doing stuff on his own. "I'll look for the blue hedgehog." I powdered on my boots. "I'll be back ...Tails your in charge. I trust you more than Chris." I said to him. Getting a giant grin from Tails and a sour look from Chris.

"Sonic!!...Where in the name of Choas is that blue devil??!" I hovered over some rocks trying to look around. "Sonic!...ugh, I should put a tracking device on him. Man, must be nice being faster than anything on this planet. Kinda jealous, his life seems so amazing...I wonder what his world is like." I said to myself...at least I thought I was. Until I heard a voice-

"Does that mean you'll take up on my offer?"

Hearing a familiar voice. I flew over to where it was coming from. All and behold, there he was- chilling behind some rocks. Looking over the sea. I blush a bit, realizing he heard everything I said. "I'm... think about it...Oh an more important note. You gotta stop disappearing. And, I thought you'd be searching for the Chaos Emerald-...wait nevermind. Forgot. Sorry." I jump over the rocks and join next to him.

The Chaos Emerald was somewhere in the ocean. And believe it or not, the amazing Blue hero- can not swim. I'm not one to judge. But it will be a tiny bit difficult to go to the bottom of the ocean to look around. If we had known that this vacation was going to turn into a search mission. I would have built to submarine.

"Well, there is a diving shop near by. I'll get you guys some equipment. You stay here, and I'll be-" I felt him grab my hand. "Your not going by yourself are you? Don't you remember that giant group of people who kept chasing us?" His voiced was full of worry. I smile and rub his head. "Sonic..." I get close to his face. Rubbing his quills gently. Watching his face turn a bit red. "...I have rocket boots."

"...Oh.."
