Zach looked over at Brooklyn who seemed to be more sluggish in her steps, she stumbled slightly prompting him to rush forward and wrap his arm around her waist. "Hey, you okay?" Zach asked her as Gray stepped up on the other side of the woman. "I, uh... I think it's the blood loss and shock... plus the adrenaline is fading so I'm feeling a little faint," Brooklyn told him honestly, there was no point in lying about her condition considering the life or death situation they were in. The guilt pooling in Zach's chest burned at the realisation that he was the cause of this, maybe not directly but by deciding to go off-road, he had put his little brother in danger and the woman he was falling for.
"But I'll be okay, just... can you help me not trip over?" Brooklyn requested with a slight frown, she didn't wish to burden the boys but she wasn't stupid as she'd collapse or trip without assistance. "I got you, Lyn," Zach whispered as he tightened his hold around her waist, Gray stayed close by in case he was needed too. "Lyn, huh? I like that. No one else calls me that," Brooke told Zach who smirked. "Well, I guess its exclusive for me," Zach commented making Brooke smile back as she replied, "I guess it is." The three fell silent as they continued through the jungle until they spotted the fallen building ahead. "That's it. Should be pretty safe inside," Brooke told the two, "I've been out here a few times before."
Trusting her words, Zach and Gray pushed the doors open before the former moved to help Brooklyn inside. Zach noticed a large bone on the ground along with an old banner, he quickly made a makeshift torch with both while Brooklyn looked around remembering the stories she heard from Alan Grant along with Tim and Lex. "You still have those matches?" Zach asked Gray who quickly opened his pen pouch and pulled the surprisingly dry matches free so Zach could light the banner. Zach wrapped his free arm back around Brooklyn who had been leaning against the wall and assisted her in walking through the space with Gray slightly in front of them. "Through there," Brooklyn told the two, they followed her instruction and found themselves walking into a small garage space.
"1992 Jeep Wrangler. Sahara, Sand beige," Gray expressed seeing the fairly cleaned up vehicle. "I've been working on it slowly but mechanics aren't my thing so the engine part hasn't been worked on," Brooklyn told the two as Zach lifted her into the passenger seat of the Wrangler. "You remember when we fixed up Grandpa's old Malibu, right?" Zach asked Gray with a smirk on his face. "Yeah," Gray nodded as Brooklyn leaned back into the seat comfortably. The two boys got to work with fixing up the old engine, Brooklyn's work on the car so far helped however, there was some work that needed to be done on the engine. Zach glanced at Brooklyn every now and again, she rested with her eyes closed, her fingers massaging her temple from the headache she had.
"Do you like her?" Gray asked Zach quietly who turned to him quickly. "Gray!" Zach whisper-shouted but Brooklyn hadn't heard them. "I'm just asking... you two are cute," Gray commented with a teasing grin that made Zach's scowl fade away. "We only met today," Zach reminded his brother. "And almost died together," Gray remarked before lowering his gaze at Zach's frown, "Which isn't your fault, Zach." The eldest Mitchell sighed, "We're gonna check that vehicle we passed for a battery." Brooklyn nodded at him before she flexed her right hand to keep the blood flow through her arm despite the wound in her shoulder. The two boys walked out towards the vehicle that had clearly only been there a short time, the battery had thankfully still worked.
"You think it's out there?" Zach asked his brother before noticing the fear that appeared on the boys face. "I-I mean, I know for a fact it is definitely not out there, all right? We're totally safe," Zach corrected himself before lifting the battery and holding it out to Gray, "Here, go take this. You're stronger than me." Gray smiled as he grabbed the car battery and walked ahead back to the garage. Zach looked around for a moment before catching up to his little brother, the two were silent for a moment before Zach said, "I do like her, Gray. But... I don't know." Gray smiled excitedly, "You should make a move on her." Zach chuckled at his little brothers words, "It doesn't seem like the right time, bud." Gray shrugged, "Eh, Mom says that its never the right time, you just gotta take the risk." Zach smiled.
After finishing up with the battery, Zach had Gray turn the key and the car miraculously purred to life leaving the three teens cheering softly. Gray climbed into the back seat and Zach closed the hood of the Wrangler before jumping into the driver seat. "I thought you failed your driver's test," Gray questioned his brother making Brooklyn look over with an amused expression. "No, only the driving part," Zach teased as he looked at Brooklyn who shook her head fondly. "Please don't crash," Brooklyn pleaded playfully. Zach leaned over and kissed her cheek, "I wouldn't risk losing an opportunity to take you out on a date by crashing." Brooklyn flushed at the flirtatious comment while Gray grinned proud of his brother who was nervous for saying that. "Keep us alive, Zach and I just might accept that offer," Brooklyn replied before Zach began driving.

Owen and Claire reached the garage as the teens car rumbled in the distance, they just barely missed them. "This is Brooklyn's," Owen said as he lifted up the girls bandana that she usually had on her wrist. "That road goes straight back to the park," Claire told Owen, she was glad to know they would be okay. "How did they even get one of these things started?" Owen questioned in confusion. "Brooklyn has been authorised to come out here, she must've been working on one of the older cars for herself," Claire answered Owen who huffed, at least he now knew where Brooklyn had been sneaking off too on her days off. The rumble of the ground startled the two, they rushed to hide behind the remaining car as the Indominus Rex leaned into the space searching.
When she disappeared, Owen grabbed the gun before the Indominus broke through the roof of the garage, Owen and Claire rushed out of the building escaping the large beast. "Lowery, we found her!" Claire spoke into the phone, "South of the Gyrosphere Valley. Between the old park and the Aviary." Lowery furrowed his brows, "Wait, are you following the dinosaur?" Owen and Claire were indeed following and watching as the Indominus rushed towards the aviary. "Yes. Get ACU out here. Real guns this time," Claire ordered, she wouldn't risk everyone just because the dinosaur was worth millions. "ACU is airborne. They took the helicopter," Lowery informed her. "Who's flying it?" Claire asked despite feeling like she knew the answer.
The two adults watched as the helicopter piloted by Mr Masrani lost control in the air, spinning in circles before crashing into the roof of the aviary freeing the prehistoric birds inside. Vivian sobbed as she spoke into her comms, "We have a breach in the Aviary." Lowery lowered his gaze in mourning as the others within the control room were left distraught or heartbroken at the loss of lives. The prehistoric birds caw and fly through the air in the direction of the parks most populated area in search for food and kills. "Trees, the trees!" Owen instructed Claire, the two rushing into the cover of the jungle from the birds that were going wild. The Indominus Rex escaped the Aviary that it had smashed into, roaring her way along towards the overpopulation of tourists.

"Okay, that's it. We're safe now," Zach reassured his younger brother who smiled hearing those words. "Oh man..." Brooklyn breathed out catching their attention. "What's wrong?" Gray asked the woman who turned to look at the two. "When my dad hears about this, he's gonna say 'I told you so' about a million times," Brooklyn whined making the two boys chuckle, "And then he'll curse Mr Masrani out for allowing me to work here." Brooklyn shook her head before rolling her shoulder, she turned her head to check the top of her shoulder for any discolouration and thankfully, it seemed okay for the moment. "Are you two going to date each other?" Gray asked, interrupting the silence. The question caused both eighteen year olds to blush, Brooklyn turned to the young boy, "We shall see."
"I hope you do. That'd be cool," Gray added as he looked behind them only for his eyes to widen in fear. "Go, go! Go!" Gray exclaimed, Brooklyn turned to see what he was talking about when she winced at the pain of a thousand voices filling her head. "Birds... damn prehistoric birds," Brooklyn whined, it was why she avoided the aviary at all costs as the prehistoric birds had no control over their piercing thoughts. "Shit!" Zach exclaimed before pushing on the pedal, the car speeding forward as the gate to the park appeared. "Open the gate!" Gray called out to the guards standing on the wall, the two chuckled before noticing the birds flocking towards them so they quickly opened the gate allowing Zach to drive through.
The car came to a stop to the side, Zach turned his gaze to Brooklyn in concern as Gray looked around. "Is there anyway to stop it?" Zach asked the woman as she clutched her head in her hands, the overstimulation of voices blocked out Zach's voice. Gray frowned seeing the pain that the woman was clearly in before he looked at Zach, "Kiss her!" Zach looked at his brother in disbelief, "This isn't some fairytale, Gray! Nor one of those shows you watch!" Gray rolled his eyes at his older brother, the attitude surprised Zach having never seen that response from his usually sweet brother. "It will distract her from the voices!" Gray told him, Zach hesitated feeling like it wasn't going to work. He closed his eyes for a moment before opening them, cupping Brooklyn's face in his hands, "I'll take the pain away."
Zach pulled her forward as Gray turned away from the sight, Brooklyn was startled for a moment when Zach's chapped lips pressed against her own but then she closed her eyes and melted into the kiss. The voices in her head faded as she focused on Zach rather than the annoying birds, she reached up and rested her left hand on the side of his neck as she deepened the kiss. Though you couldn't really blame her, she hadn't kissed someone since she was thirteen. The two pulled away not wanting poor Gray to continue suffering through it but the boy didn't care, he was just glad that his theory worked. "Better?" Zach whispered against her lips. "Much better," Brooklyn whispered back to him.
