SUMMER~

Los Angeles | 10:30 Pm

I rocked Emmy to the sound of calm waves playing on the tv. Both Essex and Kayla were sleep already. Taina, Herb, Meech and I came to Los Angeles for the weekend. Herb was performing during Rolling Loud and Meech has a photoshoot to do. After that they both had hostings at parties. Taina and I tagged along. Taina and Herb had a suite however they weren't sleeping in the same bed. I didn't ask any questions about it because I already knew what was going on.

Taina snuck out a few hours ago since she wanted to go see a friend while we were here. When she left I typed in Jayson's Instagram and seen that he was in LA as well. I could've sworn she said she was going to cut this man off a few months ago. Whatever. She deserves some fun.

I looked down at Emmy who was now sleep and I slowly got up carrying her to the bed. Once I got her comfortable and snuggled in next to me I started to close my eyes and fall asleep. Just then I heard someone knocking on the door. I rolled my eyes irritated as hell as I got up heading to the door. "Who is it?"

"It's me" I swear black people hated to say their name at the door.

"Who is me? I don't know a me" I laughed opening the door and moving to the side so he could come in.

He came in giving me a kiss before going to sit on the couch. I locked the door and then went to go check on the kids really quick.

"I thought you had a hosting?" I joined him on the couch leaning my head on his shoulder

"I did it was for a day party. See you don't be listening to me"

"Nah you're the one that's never listening to me. You probably don't even remember what we talked about earlier"

He nodded "yes I do"

I sat up straight facing him "okay so what did I say"

"You said something like you couldn't wait to be Mrs.Flenory, have a bunch of kids in a big ass house, a few dogs and shit like that" he looked so serious while saying it.

I didn't say anything like that earlier but I'll let him have it. "Hmm I guess you were listening then"

"Yeah I know. Ohh shit I forgot this is for you" he gave me something that was in a plastic bag" I looked at him suspiciously and dug into the bag when the aroma of tacos hit my nose I immediately got happy.

I could eat tacos every single day of my entire life.

"Ouuu yess and you got extra salsa verde on the side" I did a little dance and opened up my food.

In the midst of me eating. I got a facetime call from Nikole. I picked my phone up to answer it and then placed it on the couch next to me while I continue to eat.

"Heyyy sis whats up"

She groaned "I'm bored, why did yall leave me? I hate everyone right now even Myles is gone"

"You know you cannot fly right now and it's only for the weekend. We will be back Sunday night" I reassured.

"Good. I see that everyone is in Los Angeles right now even Jayso.."

I interrupted her and started coughing. I picked up the phone and widened my eyes at the camera signaling for her to shut up.

She nodded letting me know that she understood. "You good over there choking? I was about to say cousin Jayce is out there too for the concert"

I played along and smiled "Oh my god Jayce he is lame as hell for not letting me know he was here" I quickly glanced away from the phone and seen that Meech was already looking at me.

"You need to be sleep isn't it like midnight there?" I turned my attention back to the phone

Nikole flipped the camera so I could see her stomach. "I can't sleep he is super busy tonight kicking the hell out of me"

"You will be fine get some sleep and I will call you tomorrow"

"Okay Bye I love you"

"I love you too, Bye"

Once I hung up Meech was still staring at me. "Who is Jayce?"

"My cousin" I lied. "Demetrius don't even start"

He got back on his phone "iight"

We spent the next few minutes in silence. I was so glad to hear the suite door open and to see Taina's face.

"Hey Girl my bad I got so carried away with..Oh Hey Demetrius" she smiled as she sat her bag down.

"Wassup"

"Okay Im tired Ima grab Kayla and head to the room" I got off of the couch and headed to the bedroom with Taina right behind me. Once we got inside she lightly closed the door. "Thank You so much" She said above a whisper. I waved it off "It's alright, we will talk in the morning" I said while picking up a sleeping Kayla.

"You ready?" I asked Demetrius and he got up going to the door. He held it open for me.

Once we got to our room I noticed he still didn't say a word instead he went to the balcony and started rolling up. I went to lay Kayla down and then took a shower. Once I was done I put on my grey Skims short lounge set.

I got into the bed and drifted off to sleep. I couldn't fully get comfortable throughout the night because I kept tossing and turning. I hated when we weren't really on good terms it really bothered me.

The Next Day

"Demetrius where are we going?" This morning Taina came and got Kayla so she could be with the kids. Demetrius had something set up for me but wouldn't tell me.

"Just sit back and relax here play some music or something to keep you busy" he looked over at me. We had a driver today.

I pressed shuffle because you never knew what you would get with the music I listen to at one moment Young thug might come on and the next moment Miley Cyrus can start playing.

"Certified Dripper 2" came on I was able to keep my composure until Moneybagg Yo's part came on and I couldn't help it I had to rap along. "Real nigga, ex-drug dealer, now a public figure. Wig splitter, Louis headscarf, I'm a drip spiller. I'm the type to slut her out and spoil her if I'm fuckin' with you. Break her phone, buy a bag, bitches love a toxic nigga"

I laughed and pointed at Meech "That last part isn't true at all"

"You sure" He raised a eyebrow and I playfully hit his arm

"Yes, I'm sure please don't start acting crazy"

"Why? You gone try to leave me if I do?" He smirked. One thing about Demetrius is sometimes I couldn't tell if he was serious or playing.

"Hell yeah"

He shook his head and lightly grabbed my hand as he looked into my eyes "I'm sorry to inform you but we locked in Summer. Welcome to Death Row" he kissed my forehead

I smiled and nodded "I know that's right sir. If we locked in ain't no switching up" I joked as I quoted Peezy.

Once we arrived to our destination my excitement was at an all time high. It was a little far drive from Los Angeles but I mentioned "Fuego Long Beach" multiple times before while in Atlanta. Damn I guess I can take it back because he definitely listens to me.

The dinner here is great, smooth live music is always a plus, and don't even get me started on the view. I loved this place. Meech's bodyguard was with us just because it's hella people and paparazzi all around long beach and LA.

After dinner we sat in the restaurant a little longer just talking. I felt like the past few weeks our schedules have been crazy and we haven't really had some time to fully hear each other talk.

"Are you going to miss me while I'm in Miami?" I was going to Miami for a week for work purposes. I'm connecting with other designers. Of Course I've invited Taina but due to her having the kids while Herb returns back to tour, she could only come to Miami Friday through Sunday which was fine since Monday through Thursday were pure work days.

"Hell yeah ima miss you. You sure you don't want me to come? That's my city anyway"

I shook my head "No I think I'll be fine I'm a big girl" I joked because he loved acting like he was my dad whenever I was going out of town being all protective.

I made Big E, Meech's security take a picture of us before leaving the restaurant. Once we were in the car I looked through the pictures. I'm trying to figure out if I was drunk or if all of the pictures were blurry. I just went ahead and chose the best one then posted it to my Instagram.

MEECH~

Atlanta, GA | 2:00pm

I waited in my car with Big E and my mom until I seen Nikole and Megan(Summer's Mom) pull up. I greeted them as they got out. "There better be a good ass reason you got me out here in this blazing ass sun" Nikole complained as she waddled.

"Damn your feet hurt or something" I joked and she gave me a death stare.

"You tryna be funny?" She turned around mugging me.

"Nah I'm playing I don't want any smoke with you today" I put my hands up.

"Here yall go don't start that" Megan came over and I gave her a hug.

"Hey Megan" My mom and her exchanged hugs. I'm glad our families were cool with each other because that's about to make our next step easy.

We went into the private jewelry store. Big E stood by the door as I let the ladies take a seat.

"Meech! wassup" Eliantte dapped me up.

I had to really convince him to come to Atlanta to show me some jewelry because he was only based in New York. However I didn't mind paying the transportation fee.

"Wassup man I'm ready to see what you got for me"

He nodded pulling out the row of rings "Say Less"

Nikole stood up covering her mouth "Oh my god! I knew it" she sat back down rubbing her stomach "I'm sorry yall I'm just so happy for my sister"

It took me about an hour to choose the perfect ring.

"That's the one son, it's beautiful" My mom stood beside me nodding.

Megan got a closer look "Ohh yess that has her name written all across it"

I looked back at Nikole to see what she thought. She was wiping her tears "I'm sorry yall, the hormones are kicking my ass. I'm so happy right now. This is going to be beautiful for yall and yes, the ring is perfect!"

"I'll take it" I nodded at Eliantee I didn't even care about the price because anything for her was priceless.

Later That week

"I don't know I've just been feeling a little weird. Literally I've been on so many flights before but the flight Monday was so different I was nauseous as hell. I didn't really pay any attention to it but its Friday now and I'm still feeling some type of way" Summer said into the camera as she opened the food she ordered.

"What did you eat before the flight?"

"I think I had a sub sandwich" she lifted the container top open and then smelled her food and scrunched up her face

"What's wrong? They got your order wrong?"

She shook her head "No I can smell that they used hella onions. It's messing with my stomach" She picked up her phone going to the bathroom and then sat the phone down on the sink to where I could see the ceiling. It was quiet for a second but then you could hear her throwing up into the toilet.

I sat up on the couch "You good?"

When she was finished she flushed the toilet and went to the sink to brush her teeth. She was silent when she finally picked the phone up. I could tell she was reading something on her phone and then she made a thinking face. "Ohh Damn" was all she mumbled. "Let me call you right back babe I need to go to the store"
