2004'S ANGEL – A nickname Imogen adopted from fans because they were constantly commenting on how heavenly her "aura" is and because well she sings like an angel who has fallen from heaven to grace the industry with her hypnotizing vocal ability.

NERD / GLEEK - Whenever you want to humble Imogen just bring up the fact she was a hardcore theater kid and a proud Gleek. She makes a Glee reference about 2-3 times a day. Glee is top-notch television to her ( and me ).

INA - It's a nickname fellow trainees started calling her Ina during her trainee days and it sort of stuck, not many people call her this. It's just her Korean name but the 'hye' is replaced with 'a' , which is very cutesy. Now, only Anton calls her Ina :3

Imogen is still learning Korean. She spoke Korean often in her household but it wasn't "proper" Korean. Sometimes she ends up mixing English in the middle of her sentences. She's almost fluent but not quite there yet. Her members clown her any chance they get when she mispronounces a word.

Imogen really wants to go to Japan. And she knows very well that B-side will be making Japanese comebacks so why not take some lessons and learn how to speak the language? She's not very good yet but she is confident she can at least start conversations in Japanese.

Imogen was born and raised in Brooklynn up until the ripe age of 16, before she decided to fly to the other side of the Earth to pursue her dreams. Imogen is the 2nd born of three and her parents were quite successful themselves so money was never really an issue for them. Her mother was always very critical of her, her mother is actually why Imogen is so in love with music. Her very first piano instructor and vocal coach was her own mother, and boy was she brutal. Imogen has a love-hate relationship with her mother and it is entirely one-sided because Imogen would never admit that to her mother, out of fear. Growing up Imogen was often overlooked and overshadowed by others. Which may or may not be why she feels the need to entertain others for attention. Imogen wasn't really about the spotlight, she went to an performing arts school in Brooklynn but within her theatre department she always got the role of the dazzling understudy or even better, the ensemble. Imogen never really minded because it was comfortable being part of the band rather than the main cast but she was deeply unsatisfied whenever roles were announced. It wasn't until one fateful video of herself covering a Celine DIon song made rounds on the internet. Next thing you know she gets an Instagram from YG entertainment and off she goes to Korea, ( despite her parents strong disapproval ). Attending SOPA with broken Konglish was difficult but she was a trainee, and a trainee at the same company Lee Syung Kyung is under! I mean it's pretty clear that from here the only way is up, you know? After her "big break," she was poached by SM and here we are!

David is a goofy old man, that's really the only way to describe him. Imogen is always told she takes after her father. He wasn't the parent who was strongly opposing her decision to pursue fame in South Korea, he was more worried for her health and safety, I mean she is his only daughter and he couldn't imagine being so far from his little girl. Whenever Imogen feels homesick all she needs is a lengthy facetime call with her dad to cheer her up. David is the epitome of a girl-dad.

SOOYOUNG OH  / MOTHER  /  52  /  RETIRED DRAMA TEACHER
Imogen's harshest critic is her mother, Sooyoung is the one who nurtured Imogen's love for performing arts but is also the one who strongly opposed her decision to fly to South Korea. Sooyoung was okay with her becoming a Broadway actress but once she switched to becoming an idol Sooyoung expressed, "disappointment." Imogen and her mother have a strained relationship but that doesn't necessarily mean they hate each other. Sooyoung loves her daughter to bits and believes she's "too good," to waste her talents in the idol industry. Translation: I'm worried and I don't know how to communicate that I wished you would pursue your dreams closer to home.

MARCUS OH  /  OLDER BROTHER  /  26 /  JUNIOR ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Marcus is just as odd as Imogen is but for some reason, despite how alike they are and the 6 year age gap, they bicker a lot. He's your typical annoying older brother but it's a mutual thing, they annoy each other. They have their moments where they get along very well because they crack each other up, ( same humor ), Marcus is also secretly very protective of her. He's the family member who checks up on her the most–he's paranoid something will happen to her if he doesn't.

JONAH OH  /  YOUNGER BROTHER  /  18 /  UNIVERSITY STUDENT
Imogen and Jonah used to get along very well when they were younger because Jonah followed her around like a lost duckling. Jonah was sweet and soft spoken when he was younger but in his teens he went through a rebellious phase so Imogen doesn't see that sweet side as often, but Imogen knows he's been acting out because he misses her. Jonah just feels like she left him behind when she decided to chase her dreams on the other side of the Earth.

JAEHYUN   BOYNEXTDOOR   BEST FRIEND
The two of them were both YG trainees at the same time and grew very close before they both parted ways in 2021, they reunited when they made their debut in their respective groups. They hung out a lot in the past and because they're both idols they can see each other more often. They're closer than ever. In the early days of their debut they acted like they didn't know each other but of course the internet is so quick sometimes. Pictures of them hanging out resurfaced and they just gave up hiding their friendship because that's twin! IJBOL duo fr.

EUNCHAE   LES SERAFIM   CLOSE FRIEND
After her guest appearance on 'Eunchae's Star Diary' the two of them have been inseparable. Imogen doesn't like playing first person shooter games and battle royales but it is so fun playing ( trolling ) fortnite with Eunchae. When the two of them play together they like to match skins or use skins of similar theme just to match. They do not take the game seriously, they mostly talk the entire time and fly around. When they aren't on fortnite together they're always in each other's dressing rooms backstage at Music Shows. Imogen is the secret member of Les Serafim.

RIIZE   CLOSE FRIENDS
When Imogen transitioned to Idol training in 2021 she met some of the RIIZE members. She also recognized Seunghan as her Senior at SOPA so she acquainted him and through him she met the other members. Imogen relishes the fact that B-side debuted before RIIZE and they are technically her juniors despite all the members being older than her she loves to rub it in their faces. Imogen only recently became close to Eunseok because he always seemed like the type who wanted to be left alone during their trainee days but after working on the Korean Dub of Trolls together they've gotten very close. Imogen thinks Eunseok is very funny because he's so unfunny. A sibling-coded relationship.

RED VELVET   ACQUAINTANCES
In general I don't think Red Velvet would be super close with B-side just because of that insane generational gap, but RV are their big sisters! I imagine that they have a strong junior and senior relationship and that Imogen is Irene's favorite junior ( totally not because she's my bias and I want it to happen very badly ). Irene often checks up on Imogen during their busy schedules as rookie idols.

AESPA   ACQUAINTANCES
Aespa have been very supportive Seniors to B-side. Imogen loves a lot of their music and thinks their concepts are one of the best in the industry. Imogen wants to become closer with the girls but they're already far along in their careers and their schedules are always so busy. Imogen dreams of an Aespa feature.

ZEROBASEONE   ACQUAINTANCES
Through Sohee and Jaehyun she was able to get close to Zerobaseone. The member in particular she clicks best with is Matthew. When Eunchae is too busy to play fortnite with her and she's in the mood for some battle royale shenanigans she can count on Matthew to help ease her boredom. He sends her the most random TikToks ever, and he may be the reason why she's able to keep up with niche internet trends/memes.

NOW WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT? The thing about Imogen is that the only reason she is classified as an introvert is because social settings eventually drain her, time alone recharges her. It's sort of an extroverted introvert situation going on with her. When she's in a room full of people she may start off as tame until she gets comfortable, once she's comfortable she will morph into her true unfiltered self, and that is always received with mixed reactions. You either vibe with her or you don't. Self-proclaimed and proud weird girl. It's hard to say whether or not the things that come out of her mouth hold any substance or if she's spewing nonsense for the sake of talking just to talk. Her inability to keep some things unsaid makes her an editor's worst nightmare. Imogen doesn't try very hard to make others laugh because people are always laughing with her or at her. In all honesty she doesn't mind being ridiculed, if she's able to make others laugh she must be doing something right! Of course, she'll fight back in her own way that brings more amusement to everyone.  She's just the silliest girl to ever silly ( calls herself the giggle master ).

LITERAL LOSER. . .There are many definitions of loser but Imogen is the literal definition of a loser and not in a hot loser way. Imogen quite literally, can't catch a break. As social she may seem she has her fairshare of awkward encounters, for example: telling an extremely niche joke to a group of strangers and nobody laughing. Imogen is gullible and very easy to fool. She's somehow so clumsy her presence is destructive, horrible at games, and unathletic as hell. All of this combined with the fact she's often made the butt of a joke, there just isn't any other way to describe her. She's constantly taking L's left and right, but she takes them with grace and lets her losses marinate. Nobody takes her seriously.

SWEETHEART! Imogen loves love. She is one of the most affectionate people you'll ever meet. Imogen is the type of friend who fully supports her friends even when they're objectively in the wrong. Imogen is extremely loyal. She'll blindly follow your lead because she fully trusts you. Is it naive or is it devotion? We'll never know. Imogen brings this light energy wherever she goes that subconsciously makes you feel safer when you're with her. Some say they find it very easy to confide in her. Imogen loves her personal time but when Imogen is left on her own for too long she'll go insane and soon crave. . .attention. She doesn't necessarily have to be the one receiving attention, smothering her friends with hugs and kisses, bothering them with her movie theories, or forcing people to rate her British accent. Her love language is very obviously quality time but she's also a big acts of service girl. Small things like buying something useless simply because it reminds her of someone or learning how to make your favorite dish in case you ever randomly crave it.

SPONTANEOUS! Imogen is easily bored and distracted, she loves doing whatever she feels in the moment, which is probably why she has so little restraint when it comes to voicing every impulsive thought. So while she may be the sweetest little angel some days other days she might just be the most annoying little sister ever. Some would describe this erratic behavior as spontaneous; her members would describe her as unhinged. All she wants is to have fun, so if you're looking for a good time look no further because you'll be in for one hell of a ride if you're with Imogen. You could look at her impulsivity and view it as Imogen being 100% true to herself.

INTERNALLY AWARE, WILLINGLY IGNORANT. Emotions are great and Imogen feels a lot of them all the time. She isn't stupid she's actually quite introspective she just chooses to ignore the negative emotions and feelings that bother her. Imogen is sensitive, in a "I'm an empath," way. It is partially why she's such a great actor. Because she is the master of putting herself in other people's shoes, even if they're fictional roles she has to play. Imogen knows very well that talking about her troubles will probably help relieve them but she prefers a different route, which may or may not be locking herself in her room and sulking. When she's done sulking she'll search for comfort in the form of physical touch, like it'll miraculously heal her, and in most cases it does temporarily. She's the type of girl who gets 'hopecore' videos on her fyp on TikTok and uncontrollably sob.

IDEALISTIC OR DIFFICULT? Imogen has always had an idea for her future, a concept rather than a solid concrete plan but it's worked out so far. She's always looking at the big picture and missing important details. Her parents call her unrealistic but Imogen calls herself ambitious. Imogen just has this image of the future and it's essentially her being able to do whatever is her 'calling,' first she thought it was Broadway but now she claims it was always the idol industry. Deep down she knows what she truly loves is singing and if it didn't work out on Broadway regardless if it was becoming an idol or becoming a street performer she would've found another way to do what she loves. Imogen doesn't simply give up if things don't go her way, she simply reroutes. When she wants something done she wants it done the right way. Imogen dreams big and she fully believes whatever she ends up doing in the future as long as she stays true to her heart she'll be okay.

꩜ .ᐟ ┆𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐓𝐇𝐒.

PEACEMAKER. One of the many things Imogen values is harmony, and when there's conflict you can count on her to kind-of mediate and solve these disputes. I say kind-of because she gets frustrated herself when mediating because being the empath she is means when everyone's upset it won't be too long before she is too. But for the most part she tries her best and 9/10 times is successful in her attempts to deescalate a situation. Maybe she'll sneak in a few jokes for good measure.

EMPATHETIC I've probably mentioned Imogen is an empath one too many times but it's true! She just has a big heart and she feels for anyone, she could probably sympathize with inanimate objects if she wanted to. Imogen is a great listener and always knows just what to say when a friend is having a hard time. It doesn't burden her, she actually encourages her friends to come talk to her, she thinks of it as a tactic to become closer and solidify your friendship and once you do that she's never leaving your side.

EXTREMELY LOYAL I'm not sure how well I emphasized Imogen's unwavering loyalty but to put it simply, she would 100% help you hide a body if you needed her to. Now Imogen hates lying but she'd only be mildly uncomfortable if lying meant helping out a friend. Imogen's devotion to her friends and family is probably why she finds betrayal to be one of the worst things she could ever experience and partly why she gets a little dramatic when she feels like a friend has wronged her.

HIGHLY CRITICAL OF HERSELF Imogen has haters, and she's her biggest hater. As important as 'having fun' and 'loving what you're doing' is to her, doing well is also very important to her. Imogen literally cannot help it. She feels the need to always be better and it may or may not be a result of how she was raised–Imogen is insanely talented and nobody is doubting that, but one sideways comment about her skills from an anonymous rat online will have her spiraling for the next few days.

EMOTIONAL Imogen has extremely thick skin when it comes to teasing but everything else, not so much. Imogen tries not to act purely on emotions but if she's already on an emotional high she's going to make some regrettable decisions in the heat of the moment; it's just what she does. So she may make a big deal out of nothing, but she's just reacting to being hurt. That's how she justifies it. Imogen might say some hurtful things she doesn't mean because she's hurt. She's that type of girl.

ATTRACTIVE PEOPLE Isn't really a character weakness more like her kryptonite. Her people skills reduce to zero, all of a sudden she's no longer the bold, funny, esoteric Imogen, now she's giggly, awkward, more clumsy than usual Imogen. She has no idea why she forgets how to operate around people she finds attractive; she just does. Imogen has a serious habit of "fumbling" and for some odd reason a member is always there to witness her moments of severe humiliation. She'll bag a baddie one day.

DOORS ARE MY ENEMY. I'm not sure if this counts as a habit but Imogen avoids opening doors, there are too many incidents where she's pushed when she should've pulled and vice versa. A door has defeated her more times than  she'd like, to play it safe she makes sure she isn't leading the group and prays someone will open the door for her so she can spare herself the embarrassment of walking into a door. ( there are already videos of her doing so circulating TikTok and the ridicule never ends T_T ).

CHRONIC FIDGETER. Imogen cannot sit still for too long. She's always keeping herself busy by playing with her hair, clicking a pen, peeling the skin near her fingernails ( a little nasty but ok ), tapping her foot, rocking in her chair back and forth. Honestly this is just Imogen when she has to stay quiet for more than 5 minutes, she's going insane..

VERY MUSICAL. There are a million songs and musical references she can make. She can't help but randomly break out in song when given the opportunity to do so. Imogen is incredible at playing song association. Some would say this is very annoying and disruptive, but it's not as annoying when you have the voice of an angel. Sometimes she strays away from musical references and makes Glee references but nobody gets them and now she looks crazy.

CONCERNING SCREEN TIME. Imogen isn't as chronically online or Roblox addicted as GEUMIE but she spends a lot of time playing animal crossing on her nintendo switch. She also likes to play SuperstarSM just because she's literally in the game. Not many fans know but she's really good at the game too. She collects her own LE themed cards. Imogen also bought and assembled her own PC just to play Fortnite and she uses the TMNT Donatello skin ( her childhood crush ).

NAIL ART. A bit of a niche hobby but now that Imogen has more freetime compared to her trainee days, she's been enjoying making her own press-on nails for performances. Her mother says she struggles with focusing so she took up this hobby in hopes of recovering her deteriorating attention span. It's been great so far, she can be as creative and crazy as she wants when making sets. Sometimes she gifts her members custom nail sets.

⤷ Only watching the anime/manga live adaptations when all the actors are attractive to her, sue her, when she likes what she's looking at she'll pay attention more!

⤷ Going shopping with friends who ask "If you buy it i'll buy it," because she will always choose to buy it and needs some irresponsible realness to justify any unnecessary purchase she's going to make. It's that if you do it i'll do it mentality that keeps her going sometimes.

⤷ Saying, "real recognizes real" whenever she agrees with someone on something. I guess this is more of a habit but I think it's silly.

⤷ When people make thirst trap edits of her because being called hot is better than being labeled as the goofy member, but either way she watches them all

⤷ When you turn around and someone is really close to you. This indicates they were just standing very close behind you, and when you do inevitably turn around you're face to face with an uncomfortable amount of distance. If you do this, legit fuck you.

⤷ When your friend introduces you to a mutual friend but the next time you meet that same mutual friend pretends not to know your name, because you do know it! No need to act cool.

⤷ When you start watching a show with your sibling, the main purpose of watching a show together is that you're watching together but then one watches it without the other party present and now you either have to both continue watching on your own or the other has to catch up.
