renjun had soon grown accustom to chenle's expanding friend group, talking about random things during the hour long car ride back to jaehyun's apartment . after hanging out more for about three hours, renjun could already take note of things.

he learned that yukhei was the loudest after chenle (no one could beat chenle, to be honest), that the boy was half-Thai and half-Chinese, and was shockingly born only a year before him. jungwoo was probably the cutest person he had ever met, but was pretty tough on the inside, telling renjun about his struggles with bullying in high school. yuqi seemed like a fluffball at first, but she was actually aggressive, contact wise (kind of like himself), but renjun saw that she had a charm that just made people feel loved just by seeing her. jaehyun was a model who also worked as a manhwa creator, juggling his work life with his educational ambitions, which the elder also cared about a lot.

the new boy could slowly feel at home again, sitting around, with the others leaving and chenle staying, jaehyun poked his head out of his room.

"i'm going on a date today so could you two help me pick an outfit?" the older said hurriedly, "i'm really sorry renjun that i can't spend time with you together. it's just this guy pulls on my heartstrings too strongly."

renjun smiled at a blushing jung jaehyun, "of course hyung!" chenle and renjun said in-sync, making them laugh.

"and who's the lucky guy?" chenle eyed, wiggling his eyebrows.

"ah, his name is taeyong, he's been a friend of mine ever since i started college. but i've actually been stalking his instagram before we met. he's honestly such a cutie, even though he's older than me. " jaehyun blushed, "i was originally going to take renjun out to all the hotspots here but i figured chenle could do that for me."

"no problem hyung!" chenle exclaimed, "you can trust me!"

with the three huddled around in jaehyun's cramped walk in closet, renjun realized some more things. jaehyun probably has one of the best proportions in asia, the most neatest in asia, but not so much when it came to money spending. he found that the older could not just pick one aesthetic, spending money on rows of ties to a cabinet of fanny packs, but renjun really couldn't blame him.

"so, what is the date gonna be like?" renjun asked abruptly, looking at the graphic t-shirts he owned.

"uh, tyong said that it was more like a lunch date combined with a whole day date." other than that, i don't know." jaehyun sighed out, "i trust him though, so it's ok."

"ok, and today is a bit hot i guess."

the older nodded in aggreement, taking a moment to open his phone which just went 'ding!' and renjun heard a small squeal from jaehyun. chenle rolled his eyes, "taeyong hyung is an instagram model so you'll hear the 'ding' followed by a squeal quite often."

renjun shook his head, "whipped culture."

"isn't he the cutest? ah i love him so much!"

"definitely whipped, whipped like whipped cream," chenle giggled in chinese.

"hey! lele what did you just say?"

"nothing jaehyun hyung!"

"but just look at him! he's so beautiful!"

renjun slightly gasped and nodded, sliding for the next picture.

chenle chuckled, "maybe the reveluv jumped out."

by the time jaehyun had left, renjun and chenle had helped jaehyun pick an outfit. the two were hungry but forgot about their stomach's growling by bonding over missed moments they had without each other.

chenle laid his head on renjun's shoulder, "i wish we were there together," chenle exclaimed while talking about the first time he met jaehyun.

"i really do wish that, but we're together now and that's all that matters."
