Author's POV

Arjun was sitting on the leathery chair like a king in his office. He wasn't doing any work right now and was just thinking about Meera.

Deeply

He wasn't regretting his outburst but he can't help but remembering her tear stick face and fear full eyes made him think that he went too hard on her.

But again after thinking that whatever he said was totally right. Not a single word was out of his heart. He needed to do this otherwise she never had understand his emotions.

Thinking a little he come to a conclusion that whatever he did or said was necessary in order to make her understand that what her husband feel about actions or how much hurt he is from her.

He signed but again his mind drifted towards the scene in the morning, when he woke up and was coming out of his room he found her on his door sleeping. His heart clenched seeing her like then.

He knee down in front of her and softly touched her cheeks with his thumbs and rubbed her cheeks to get rid of the dried tear strain from her face. He looked at her face for god know how many minutes but when he noticed her moaning in pain in her sleep from sleeping in the very uncomfortable position he slowly lift her up in his arms and went toward her room.

He was angry on her but that doesn't means he didn't care for her , doesn't love her , he do and can't see her in pain. He didn't utter a single word since morning, he himself was feeling low after last night.

After placing her on the bed he walk out not before looking at her face and shooting his head. She looked so peaceful that his eyes were refusing to look away from his love. He wanted to see her,he hadn't seen her like this form long.

Arjun was back from morning memories to the present when he heard his phone ringing. He looked at phone and saw it was his mother. He talked to her for few more minutes before holding his laptop bag in his hand making his way out of the building.

After the ride of 30 minute he was standing on his door. He entered silently and was expecting a silent enviroment inside and was about to go to his room without making any noise but he was welcomed by a sweet soft angle like voice.

Seems like someone is singing.

Meera was in the kitchen making the dinner for both of them and was singing her favourite song without caring about surrounding.

She was doing her work with a small smile on her face today. When she woke up she clearly remember she slept at Arjun's door last night but woke up on her bed it means he put her here.

He still do care for her even he is angry.

It made Meera smile and made her feel butterflies in her tummy. She though there still some Hope's left.

Arjun silently followed the sound which was attracting him. He was walking on his own and just wanted to know the owner of the voice, somewhere he knows it will non other than his wife but he wanted to see her singing.

As he reach to the door of the kitchen his gaze fall on the small figure who was cooking something while singing closing her eyes. Her hairs were open and face void of makeup.

He looked at her who was in her own world with a small smile looking divine, he stayed there for a second but then moved toward his room without uttering a single word.

He silently went toward his room and stayed inside. He didn't want to talk to her about anything because he know if he did his anger will took over him. He also know he can't control his emotions in from of her. He just want to stay in his room while doing his left work.

When Meera was finished with her work in kitchen she came out while looking at her wrist watch, frowning while thinking Arjun isn't home yet she made her way to the table, she sat there while waiting for him.

Arjun was so engrossed in doing work that he lost the time track. He only glanced at the wall clock when he was done with the work, it was showing 1 in night.

Sighing he made his way downstairs, he was feeling slightly hungry also. As he went downstairs his mind was occupied by Meera again. He was thinking where she must be!

He started thinking that after last night confronting she won't be coming in front of him anymore. She must be scared of him now.

His mind and he only stopped talking when he noticed a small figure sleeping on the table while sitting on the chair. The hall was dark as no light was coming, it was hard to see her in dark but he can still see her, he fe her. He went near her and noticed,her hairs were shattered on the table while she was sleeping putting her face in her folded hand. He also noticed the food kept on the table. But they were untouched.

Why didn't she eat?

Arjun thought looking at the sleeping beauty, he kept looking at her for few minutes, seeing how peaceful and clam she look while sleeping.

After looking at her god know how many minutes he finally moved his eyes away from her and moved toward the kitchen for drink something.

When he come back from kitchen holding a bottle of cold water he again looked at her who was still sleeping. He tried to ignore her and go to his room again but can't.

Sighing he picked her up in his arms in bridal style. As he picked her in his arms he felt a sudden wave of relief in him. As she struggled more into him he felt the restlessness inside him was vanishing. He was feeling complete, peaceful and what not.

But how bad!

It all was temporary. The relief the peace the feeling of completeness was just temporary until the reality hit him, until the reality bring him back.

He entered inside her room and put her to sleep, covering her with dulvet he made his way out after looking at her one last time.

As he went downstairs he picked the bottle but his eyes fall on the food placed on the table. He wasn't feeling hungry now, he didn't have heart to eat without her. He picked all the dishes and placed them in refrigerator and moved toward his room.

Next morning Arjun woke up early and without saying anything he went to office.

Meera woke up at her usual time, she noticed she was in her bed but the last thing she remember was waiting for Arjun on the dinning table.

She hit head when she realised she slept while waiting for him, she was tired after dealing with patients and 2 deliveries after long labour of the patient.

She got up from her bed and run outside in hope to find him home but she get upset when she noticed the house was silent and no one was present.

She came inside with red face and eyes full of tears. She wanted to talked to him desperately but he wasn't talking to her, he was running away from her.

He also felt the same.

Yes! She also used to run away whenever he started to talk to her. The guilt again take over her making her eyes to flow few tears and stomach forming a painful knot.

Later in day she went to hospital without eating anything. She didn't feel like.

In the night Meera stayed late at the hospital because of an emergency, when she went back she noticed the light of his room was dim.
Assuming that he must have slept she went to her room sadly.

After thinking much she decided she won't give up. And a new idea came to her mind.

Next day Meera got up early then usual, after getting ready for the day she went downstairs and started preparing breakfast.
Arjun wasn't present there as it still early in morning.

As she was done with the breakfast she glance upstairs towards his room to see the door was still lock.

Hesitantly she went upstairs and knocked softly of the door, but there wasn't any response. She did it twice but still there wasn't any response.

Suddenly the door flew open revealing a fresh showed Arjun. His hairs were still wet from the shower.
He was all ready for the day.

Because he suddenly opened the door Meera wasn't ready to face him. But now she was standing so close to him that her nose my slightest touching his shirt covered toned chest.

Her cheeks turn red and hot. She looked up only to meet with his brown eyes which shows he was .....angry?

She immediately back away while mumering a sorry.

But he didn't stopped, it was like he was in so much hurry. He as she backed away he started walking without saying anything.

She watched him going away and she remembered why she was here. She called his name to stop him.

"Ar-Arjun ji breakfast " she said confidently but in last it sound like a sacred kitten murmuring something.

He stopped for a second and looked back but then again started walking downstairs. She frown at his act but again run behind him to stop him.

"Breakfast " she said little loudly when she noticed he was walking past the table.

He didn't stoped even when he heard her voice. He was in hurry. In early morning he got a call from his office that Mr.sharma was creating a great scene because Arjun withdrew his shares from his company and they were going to be bankrupt now. When he heard that he was furious, that old hag still have courage to do this. now he surely need to learn a lesson from him personally.

Didn't he know with whom he was messing?

He did all this because he find out they were using there connection from underworld for destroying the small companies so he can buy them. He strongly opposes it and other reason were that the old hag was now forgetting his place. He need o to know where he belong to!

Arjun do also have his connection with underworld but he never used this as an advantage for destroying someone, he was capable of doing that like he was doing with Mr. Sharms. And he only have connections with underworld because being one of the richest and successful businessman in the country and world give you everything but surely bring danger to you and your family. And he didn't want that at all!

He just wanted to reach his office as soon as possible and show that bastard his place. But Meera was continuously stooping him.

He again ignored him and start walking when he felt a tug on his wrist. He looked back to see Meera holding his shirt looking down.

Not this time.

Clenched his teeths, He harshly removed her hand from his shirt and leaves from there not before giving a cold glance to Meera which scared her to her soul.

She immediately took her hand back and looked down. Her eyes filled with tears but she didn't looked up.
Arjun also left after that without saying anything.

Meera wasn't knowing the reason of the sudden departure, she thought he did ot because he didn't even want to see her face.

That made her cry harder, after crying her heart out she stood up because she had to left for the hospital. Wiping her tears she stood up and left again without having anything.

In the hospital

Meera was in her cabin going through some files with someone knocked on her door. She looked up to see her colleague. Mr. Advik Sean.

"Hy Meera! How are you?" He asked while entering inside with his charming smile.

She also smiled back and was about to answere him when she suddenly felt dizzy.

"Hey you ok?" She heard advik's voice. After few minutes she felt better and looked up at him who was holding a glass of water and standing beside her. She took the glass and drunk some water. After he moved away from her.

As he was standing in front of her and was about to say something when her phone ring. Giving a apologised look to him she looked at caller I'd. It was her senior Mr.dubey.

He informed her that he want her in his cabin,he wanted to discuss a case with her.

She stood up and was about to go but not before thanking him. He also went out with her but not before advising her to take care of herself.

She was going towards his cabin when she felt dizzy again and then everything went black.....

Thud...

Was the last sound she heard before slipping into the darkness completely.

In Arjun's office.

"Its done!" Gaurav squealed like a child entering in Arjun's office after they cleaned the mess created by that old hag.

Arjun didn't said anything just made his way to his chair. He was tired and nothing was helping much other than tiring him more.

He rubbed his eyes with his fingers to get rid of tiredness. And then closed them for a minute. He remember last night when he came back he didn't find her so he went to his room, but searching her on his way. After looking in the whole house he concluded she wasn't home yet!

He was hell tired yesterday but decided to be awake till she isn't home. It was late at night when she decided to come, Arjun was standing near his glass window when he saw her coming. She was looking very tired also.

A sigh of relief escaped from his mouth when he saw her but a rush of anger also hit him when he saw the time. It was 2 in night!

It's not safe for her to be out on this time alone.

She should have called me to pick her up..

He thought looking at her who was now entering inside.

How can she? You are angry with her!

His mind answered him but he just dismissed the thought thinking

"Nothing is more important than her safety to me! Even not my anger"

After that he made his way to his bed to sleep and in early morning he got the call about that mess.

He rested his head on the back of the chair still eyes closed but a phone call disturbed him. He opened his eyes to see his cabin empty. Where was Gaurav? Wasn't he here few minutes ago.

When he left?

He saw his phone was ringing, he cursed and mentally warn the the one who was other side.

It better had a valid reason

He picked the call with a frown after seeing it was Meera's number. She havn't call him for once till now.

As soon as the person on the other side spoke he quickly got up and rush toward the exit. His all tiredness was long gone.

"Sir where are you going? You have a meeting in few min-" she couldn't complete the sentence as he spoke in middle.

"Cancel them all " with that he made his way towards his car.

He was driving like a crazy one, why wouldn't he!!
It was his Meera who was unconscious and admitted in the hospital.

His mind was full of crazy thoughts now and he just want to go to her.

After reaching to hospital he directly made his way to her room. He know in which room she was admitted.

He opened the door with force and entered only to see Meera still unconscious and laying. One of the doctors from other who was surrounded her was checking her.

"How is she? What happened to her? " He asked to the doctor slightly panting.

"She is fine! Shd fainted because of dehydration and lack of energy! Her vital were low also. " the doctor informed him with a nod.

Arjun also nooded at him while gazing Meera. Just as the doctor was about to go Meera started moving after that she opened her eyes.

The first sight she saw after opening her eyes was Arjun's worried face. He was looking at her with so much emotions, which she can't detect much. Some of them were worry, care or ......love?

She looked away when she can't handle that and looked at he doctor who was smiling at her. She also smiled back weakly.

The doctor come forward and asked
"Meera I am going to ask you few questions. You need to answer them ok" he said to which Meera nooded.

"So how are you feeling now?" He investigated.

"Umm weak and very tired. A little headache too " she said to which the doctor nooded. Arjun was also listening to her carefully.

"Ok now tell me when was the last time you have your meal properly?. "

Meera bite her lips after hearing the question. It was 3 days ago when they both were having dinner. After that she didn't had her any meal properly because can't! Just can't without him.

"Umm... 2-3 days ago....." Meera murmured. Hearing him doctor shoot his head and Arjun looked at Meera. On that time Meera was also looking at him.

Something flashed in his eyes which she wasn't sure of. Was it anger, worry, care , shock or....guilt??

She don't know but she can't keep looking at him so she turned her face to other side.

"Umm ok.. that's it. Now take rest and be conscious about your health." The doctor said and looked back at Arjun.

"Take her home, made her eat something healthy make sure she takes rest. I'll be giving some medicine give it to her after having meal" Arjun nooded his head at his words and looked at Meera who was now trying to stand up.

He went to help in getting up and coming out, made her sit in his car he fixed the seatbelt and looked at her who was now looking down and fighting with her hem of her kurti.

She was looking nervous, and was in his deep thinking. He just went toward the drivers seat and picked his phone and texted someone something then after settling himself he started driving.

They both were silent and it wasn't a comfortable one. Meera was very guilty making him worry about her. It wasn't her intention when she was ignoring her meals. Sometime it was because she was all alone so she didn't wanted to eat or sometime because of work pressure.

She was looking down at her have then out of window sometime looking at him with her peripheral view.

On the other hand Arjun was thinking about something so deeply. When he got a call from hospital informing Meera's state he was terrified. And comings to hospital and knowing the reason of her state made him feel like very guilty. He was feeling like everything happened because of him.
He also don't have a proper meal after that day because he can't! but he didn't expect her to do the same.

Why?

Was the only question roaming inside his brain.

When they reach to the house, Meera was all ready to be out of the car, it was suffocating her,the tension between them was making her feel nausea.

As Meera opened the door she was lifted in air. A gasp realise her mouth at his action.

In reflex she circled her arms around his neck to save her dear life. She looked here and there biting her lips.

"Put me down " she whispered with a hot face and tumbling voice. The proximit was affecting her, very much.

Arjun didn't respond anything he just picked her up and made his way to Meera's room.

Meera looked at his face timidly only to see a frown on his face. Like he was thinking something.

But what?

She looked down she saw they were now climbing the stairs and Arjun was looking at down at the stairs.
She didn't want to be caught.

As they were near her room's door Meera again tried to get down by wiggling in his arms. In return he just clench his jaw and tighten his grip on her. Seeing him Meera stop her movement and stayed still.

After placing her flat on her bed he covered her with the dulve. Meera was expecting him to leave but he didn't he stayed there and after few minutes a maid entered inside the room with a tray in her hand and smile on her lips.

Meera tried to get up seeing her but a hard glance from him made her lay back. The maid placed the tray on the near table and walk upto her. She made het sit comfortably by placing a pillow behind her back.

After making her sit she give her the tray which had a bowl full of soup. She looked at the soup and then to the maid.

The maid stood up and then walk to Arjun.

"As you messaged I prepared the soup sir. I'll be leaving now" she said and Arjun nooded at him.

He was messaging her.

After she left closing the door behind her Meera gulped her own saliva in fear and looked down.
They were alone now surrounded by a awkward silence. Meera was gazing down while Arjun was looking at her with cold eyes. Meera was feeling his eyes but ignoring it.

She looked up and then looked down not knowing what to do. He wasn't going nor saying anything. Just standing glancing at her.

She was feeling so much afraid of him that she can't even lift her face anymore. She bite her lips in nervousness because he hadn't said a single word till now. He was silent.

Complete silent

And she was getting more nervous by his silent behaviour. She wanted him to say something even if it is shouting at her ,atleast then she will know what he is thinking.

Minute passed but there wasn't any movement in Arjun nor Meera. Then Meera heard him sighing. She though he was fed up standing there and will leave now but to her utter horror he moved toward her and hold the bowl of soup in his hand.

He was sitting on her bed he just bend on his knees to come to her level. Fillings a full spoon with the soup he forwarded it toward her mouth.

Meera again gulped her own Saliva when she saw him sitting in front of her. She was confused but then when she noticed his action she felt many emotions inside her.

She felt a tingling sensation inside her stomach like there were hundred of butterflies in her stomach and cheeks were hot as fire.

She bite her lips before opening her mouth to take the soup in. Unknowingly a small smile that can be bearly noticed followed her lips.

Arjun again did that, he was looking at Meera whole time when she was looking down while drinking the soup.

Arjun noticed the red colour coating her cheeks he don't know it was because of heat or because of him.
He looked at her in awe because she was looking like a small angle in evening sunrays. The orange light in the room was making her look even more cute and beautiful.

The way she move her lips,

They apple like cheeks...

Her soft skin...

He felt a big turn over of emotions inside him. He was still feeding her, when suddenly he got up putting the bowl harshly on the table. He can't take it more.

Meera flinch at sudden act of his, a second before they wer sitting comfortably then what happene now??

She saw him storming put of her room, slamming the door shut loudly. Unknowingly a tear skipped from her eyes. She wiped the tear lay back on her bed.

She was thinking about him, what he did. She was smiling sometime somtime making sad face.

He do care about me ........ a lot!

Meera thought when she recalled the scene of him feeding her but then she recalled him going away like this. Suddenly she started feeling worried.

Where is he?

She didn't even know he is home or not.

Taking a deep breath she got up and moved out in search of him. She noticed the light was closed in his room means he isn't in his room.

Moving a little she noticed the room last in the corridor, the light was illuminating.

Is he here??

It was the same room in which Meera noticed Arjun going offen. After they have dinner he used to go to this room he may be there..........

Thinking she made her way to that room. She saw that the room was unlock which means he was here. Definitely.

She moved inside only to meet with darkness, she looked here and there only to noticed a dark figure standing near the window. He was looking outside and his back was facing her his hand were shoved in his pocket. She noticed it closely to know it was Arjun's.

She don't know what to do , what to say so she turned around to go but stooped hearings his voice.

She heard his voice after two days, she turned around to see him with wide eyes.

"I want to ask something"

My my!! What he wanna talk?

I know you all want to end there cold war and it will be may be in next chapter.
But in this chapter I wanted to give some cute, caring, longings type scenes of both of them.

I wanted them to show some scene of them in between there fight without arguing or ignoring each other. Few cute,few heart melting scene which I think I did! Didn't I??

What do you think will happen in next chapter?

But I want to give you all a clue about next chapter.

It will the most awaited chapter of this book. Some SECRET WILL REVEAL.
