Moonchild don't cry
When moonrise, it's your time

Vicky pov-part 1

The group landed at Gibraltar International Airport. They were exhausted and filled with dread about what was ahead of them. The Guardia Real, some of the royal guards were stationed at the private airfield, waiting for the Princess and Prince of Spain. Tala looked at you uneasily as you followed Jin-Goo out. Jin-Goo's face is solemn since he knows his parents are waiting for him at their royal holiday villa.

You feel terrible for him and Tala, especially your best friend, who was forced into a lifestyle she wasn't prepared for. She is well aware that Jin- Goo's engagement to Princess Fransesca is in jeopardy. Jin-Goo is not concerned because he is over heels in love with his "idol" girlfriend, Seolhyun. So if the wedding is called off, it will benefit him...but now that Hwan-Hee exists, the tide may shift against him.

Hwannie was sleeping in the arms of a bodyguard. She was engrossed with her dad during the flight. Playing video games with him, sketching him, and "teaching" him to draw a real queen. Everyone could tell he adored his daughter. Jin-Goo was alone in a vehicle with his bodyguard while You and Tala shared a car. The guards each bowed in front of the royal family. You smile and appear to be at ease. As the official residence of your family, the Palace in Madrid has become your permanent home. Because of this, your castle in the Philippines will serve as both a vacation and a second home for you because of the revolt against Prince Ino's Kingdom, which his brother now leads.

You don't want to reside in the Philippines because you are still afraid of the Kingdom wreaking havoc on your family. However, it has been quiet since the presumed death of Prince Ino. You simply do not believe the news that he died a few years ago. It's far too easy.

Tala sighs deeply in the car. "I'm terrified, Vicky...how will I deal with his parents? I had no idea you were royalty. If we were in our right minds, Jin-Goo would never allow it to happen. He's already stated that I'm not his type. Yes, it was merely a coincidence. How am I going to explain it to his parents?"

Hwannie was sound asleep on her lap as you smiled and hugged her shoulders. " You don't have to be concerned. Follow my advice. My aunt, "Your Grace", is a strict doting mother to the girls and Jin-goo, but she is not unreasonable. Unfortunately, we must first visit Jin- Goo's royal villa. They will be there for a year. Now, and they'll stay with my parents for a few months if there are any urgent royal matters to attend to. My parents are fantastic. You'll adore them."

Tala snorts a little, "Vicky...you are not your average citizen for Goodness sake...I'll never be able to relax in their company...Why did you drag me along?" she grumbled. " Jin-Goo might have taken Hwan-Hee away for the weekend and handled all his issues alone."

"Tala...I'm still the girl you met in middle school...the only difference is that my "parents" are my secret service," you grin and shake your long locks out of your face."Believe me when I say that my parents adore you since I constantly mention you to them and send them photographs of you. They are aware of how much I love you, Tala. You are my best friend. They will be overjoyed to meet you after all these years finally. Remember, we're both losers, and we enjoy it."

"OK...but please be by my side," Tala says with a smile, "I'm pretty nervous right now."

You grin and say, "I'll do it, don't worry, Hermana (sister)."

The locals welcomed you with cheers and excitement when you entered the city. The Princess and Prince visited them. They scream and wave. You return the wave with a smile. They learned from sleazy news agencies that Princess Amaris would visit with her commoner best friend, Tala. Tala is unaware that Spain is aware of her connection with you for the most part. And that you both have a law degree.

They even know that you will obtain your soulmark in a week or two and that the majority of the male citizens of your kingdom wish to be mated to you, but you only smile sadly. You know that your parents are unlikely to marry you off because of the Billionaire Legacy Club to a commoner soulmate who is not red-gold. They're already focused on the count's marriage negotiations.

Fortunately, your parents previously signed the System bill two weeks ago, which states that no Red-gold string soulmates within the legacy club may be separated by forcing them into arranged marriages. When they have a high social position or ranking. You want to meet your soulmate before the marriage negotiations are completed and have the red-gold string. This weekend, Edwardo will pay a visit to your palace to get to know you better. He will officially court you. He's not a bad find.

You like his demeanour, although he is a touch quiet and emotionless. But deep down, you were thinking about Namjoon, the boy who still has your heart in his hands, but even if he says he wants to meet you, all he wants to know is who your mate is. If you are not soulmates, he will register as Tarnished and will likely continue to date his current girlfriend. And forget of your existence. The possibility of losing the superstar for real made your heartache. Jin- Goo is correct. If you have to date the "idol," it will never work out.

The vehicles are escorted into the royal villa of the Duke and Duchess of Spain. The house staff arrived to greet the royal guest. Tala observed Jin-Goo exiting the vehicle. Staff bowed respectfully in front of him, and more staff took the luggage.

Your guard unlocks your doors, and you and Tala exit the car. The Duke's assistant stood before the three of you, bowing and greeting you respectfully until his gaze was drawn to a grim-faced Prince.

"Your Highness, Your Grace would like to meet you in her private lounge. The Queen-mother wishes to meet Royal Princess Amaris  and her lady for refreshments in the private garden." He smiles and motions for the prince to take the lead.

Tala's eyes are almost bulging from their sockets. You beam with delight. Matais is the personal assistant to your uncles. He's wearing spectacles, and you're smiling at the grey-haired man. He was always open and honest with If you and Jin-Goo were misbehaving, He would discipline you.

"Oh, thank you very much, Mr Matais. How are you doing?" You bowed and inquired pleasantly.

He nods and smiles."I'm OK, thank you...Your highness...ma'am," he says, smiling as he stares at the anxious Tala, who bows slightly. He smiles inside, thinking about how surprised the duchess will be to meet the small girl who gave birth to her first granddaughter.

As you all follow Jin-goo into the Royal Villa, he sighs.

Tala's eyes are filled with wonder as she looks around. Their Spanish villa is stunning. So this is Jin-Goo's home. Their vacation home. A life of luxury and affluence. It's odd to believe that she's the only one of their former friends who knows Jin-Goo and Y/n true identities. Felix, Namjoon, and Jackson are still in the dark. Tala wonders if Jin-goo will even inform his girlfriend and best friends that he is a prince. She is skeptical. If their statuses become public, they will make big headlines in South Korea.

You walked into the lobby, where some personnel greeted you with a bow and a smile.

Jin- Goo's father, the Duke, and the King were at the Spanish Parliament - the Cortes addressing the Congress of Deputies monthly. Jin-Goo was relieved to know that his father would speak to him after returning from the Cortes. On the other hand, his mother was waiting for him with a grim expression on her face and a gentle hug. Jin- Goo bit his upper lip unconsciously and apologized to his mother. She is a stunningly beautiful, statuesque, and graceful woman fit for royalty. She was dressed to impress as if she were going to a high tea at the Queen's garden party.

You hope your aunt won't be too harsh with Jin-Goo, their eldest son, with that tongue. Jin-Goo's sisters are both in private school, and they were both very sad about having to go to class. They were eager to meet their brother, cousin, and niece. They haven't seen each other in five months.

You grasped Tala's hand after leaving Jin-goo in a hallway with Matais when a very kind maid took hold of the sleeping Hwannie and led her to the nursery where she will watch over her till the meeting with the Queen- Mother is complete.

You gave a grateful smile. "That is one of the princesses' chambermaids. Lucia is her name, and she is quite good with children, so there is no need to be concerned. She'll keep Hwannie busy if she wakes up."

Tala raises her brows. "Then she must tell her that she will be playing games. My daughter is exhausting. Did you notice how occupied she kept her Appa?"

You laughed. "I did...but it kept his mind occupied by distracting him from his parents' impending reprimand. Tala, please don't be intimidated by my aunt, even though she is a little sharp. Ok. Maintain your stance. There's nothing wrong with you "... You have a soft spot for her.

Tala only shrugged, her stomach churning with nervous butterflies. "Okay,Vicky, I'm worried about Jin-Goo. What if Princess Fransesca cancelled the engagement? It will all be my fault. I messed up his well-ordered life. His parents will  roast or arrest me."

"Don't worry, Tala. You're overthinking things. Depending on how Hwannie is welcomed, the two of us will spend a week at the royal palace. My grandmother spends time with The Duchess until she feels the need to return to the Philippine palace." You inform her with a smile.

You and Tala walked through two large double glass doors that opened to a beautifully designed garden with lush greenery. On the potch, the view is spectacular.

Two waiters and two guards were situated at the gates, and the waiters were based near the table to help the queen mother and her guests.

They all bowed in respect when they saw you. You smiled and warmly greeted them. Tala greeted them with a courteous bow.

Your grandma was sipping a glass of wine. When she turned around and spotted you, her face lit up with a bright smile. Even though she is over 70 years old, she looks radiant.

You didn't care about protocol as you ran up to her into outstretched arms, giving her a warm hug. You haven't seen her in nearly five months.

She gazed at your face as she cupped it in her delicate hands and looked at you intently. "Oh, my lovely princess. Look how mature you are. In about a week, you'll turn 21. How quickly time passes. Baby, welcome home." She hugged you much tighter this time.

"Oh, grandma...I miss you so much...Granma...this is my best friend and sister, Tala..." you giggle. When she let you go, you stood up straight and motioned for a nervous Tala to come to meet your grandmother. She slowly moved, her eyes wide, to the queen mother's warm, questioning gaze.

She bowed and addressed her with the correct royal courtesy. You have a proud expression on your face as you see her calm demeanour. Most people are fearful of your grandmother. But she's very friendly and open. She motioned for Tala to come closer.

"Oh, my sweet lord. Are you the girl with whom our Jin-Goo had a child? My sweetheart, you look very youthful. Ms Tala, how old are you, child?" She stares at Tala's flushed face, and you giggle at how anxious your friend has become.

"In about five days, I'll turn 21. Your Majesty." Much to her delight, she informs your grandmother that the Queen knows her name. You smile since your entire royal family knows that Tala is your best friend and you have recently reunited at work.

The queen smiled and invited you to a platter of her favourite seafood dishes. It was incredibly peaceful to sit on the terrace and stare out at the magnificent mountains. She inquired about your and Tala's law firm" Kim and Chang". You informed her of your plans. That you must pursue a graduate degree to practice law in Korea. After working for a while at your current firm, you and Tala intended to open a law firm focusing on entertainment law in about a year.

The queen was curious about Hwannie. You admire your grandmother for being so wise as not to bring up Tala's relationship with Jin-Goo.

Your grandmother is pleased with you. You and Tala were having a good time until Matais came in. You all raised your heads as he bowed in front of the Queen.

He appears to be apologetic to you. "I apologize for interrupting, Your Highness. The duchess would like to speak with Ms Tala in her private lounge." He glances at Tala, who has turned quite pale. You put your hand over hers in a reassuring manner.

After she left with Matais, you could catch up on Royal business. Your grandmother wanted to go to her chambers after you had spent some time relaxing outside. You linked your grandmother's arms and strolled with her to her bedroom, up the stairwell.

"Are you willing to take a chance into an arranged marriage with the Count, my dear?" your grandmother asks. " Remember that his parents will also come to meet our family and watch how he officially begins to court you."

"I'm still too young, granny. Count Edwardo is a charming young guy," you moan, your nose pinched up". Don't get me wrong, gran, but I'd instead meet my true soulmate first, go through the bonding ritual, and see my strings. I persuaded my parents that marriage would keep me protected, but King Ino is no longer alive. I don't think I should rush into marriage. Maybe when I'm 25 and have completed my master's degree in law. Then perhaps I'll return to my royal duties. I enjoyed my life as a commoner. I don't want my status to become public right now."

"Did you express your feelings to your parents?" She glanced at you with concern and said, "Do you still have feelings for the boy you told me about a few years ago?" in hushed tones.

"I don't know why I still like him after almost four years, gran," you pursed your lips and looked at your gran with a deflated look."He...he is now quite famous, and he is also dating an American singer."

"Is she his soulmate?" your grandmother asks, her face furrowed. You shook your head. However, you saw a picture of them on the Billboards last year. They appear to be dating. They look to be lovers rather than friends. The expression on the girl's face said it all. Joonie is her true love. He stated that they are only dating till they discover their soulmates.

"No, she appears to be his best friend. He wants to meet with me when I get my soulmark, but I don't want Gran. He hasn't met the royal me, and I don't want to reveal my secret to others, and Jin-goo doesn't want me to get reinvested and hurt." You depressingly state. Your grandmother turned around and embraced you tightly.

You know you'll fall in love with him all over again, and your heart won't be able to bear it. Joonie is one of Korea's geniuses, and he is highly articulate and fluent in English. He is a fantastic songwriter as well as a great rapper. He is not just handsome, tall, and intelligent; he is also a tremendous leader who has kept the septet sane and together. The ARMY adores him.

Your heartbeat is quick as you reminisced about your senior year making out sessions. Although you never dated, he promised you that he would love you from afar, he did not keep his vow. You couldn't even date anyone because of your closely guarded secret, and with Jin-goo as your overzealous bodyguard, it was nearly impossible for anyone to get close to you.

Namjoon has supposedly begun dating his best friend, Jia, beautiful and mature. When their first secret images were revealed, your ARMY friends from Harvard, Shaniqua and Tyrella, agreed that Namjoon looked very much in love with his best friend. It shattered your heart, especially once Jin-Goo learned about Joonie and JiaHe advises you not to become involved with a celebrity since this could easily expose your royal status.

You simply shrugged and informed your grandmother that you'd be over him as soon as you met your soulmate. But for the time being, you'll stay true by loving him from afar.

You spend a few more minutes with your grandmother when a knock on the door interrupts your talk. Jin-Goo had a gloomy demeanour. You glance at him, curious, as he walks up to hug your grandmother. Your grandmother holds her grandson tightly in a comforting embrace.

"How was the dreaded meeting with Your Grace?" you ask, your eyes wide with curiosity.

She was scowling at me for ruining the life of a young girl. Mom questioned why I could easily seduce a 17-year-old minor, given the number of girls I'd been with."

When you heard that, you and your grandmother burst out laughing. Jin-Goo was unimpressed.

He smirked. "She is presently chatting with Tala. Tala seems unfazed by my mother's sharp tongue. My mother criticized her for not saying "no" to me, for allowing my hormonal self to lead her astray and deflower her before the time was right. I wanted to sit and listen to Tala defend her honour, but my mother quickly dismisses me."

"Where has Hwannie gone?" He asks you, looking around for his little girl.

"Oh, Lucia carried her to the nursery for a peaceful nap," you grinned.

"I wanted to spend time with my daughter before my mum got her," Jin-goo says with a huge grin.

The queen mother chuckles, "Bring her here first to meet with me. Tala appears to be a mature mom who only wants the best for her daughter. I'm not sure what you'll do if she meets her soulmate, but you must prepare to share your daughter with another man. Because it will occur, son. I'm a little tired, so I'll take a short nap."

"What!... Tala is too young to marry," Jin-goo frowned at the reality of the situation. She must wait till Hwannie is old enough."

Your grandmother only smirked as she leaned back on her side. Jin-Goo seemed concerned about his daughter embracing someone else as her dad. Your gran waved at you to give her a breather for napping. You and Jin-goo agreed to go and let your grandmother enjoy her fiesta.

On your way to the lounge, stroll down the long hallway, greeting some personnel.

"And you're not too young to be married to Francesca," you lifted your brows in surprise."You can't tell Tala who she should see, date, or marry. Tala is now a "hot momma," Her destined soulmate will want to be with her although she has a child. That is something you must accept. A different father will probably raise Hwannie."

Jin-goo has a fierce look that makes you want to snort.

Jin-Goo can deny all he wants, but he is not immune to his child's mother. This will be a fascinating royal visit that will shape both of your destinies.

You walked inside the lounge and took a seat.

"When is your dreaded meeting with your father?" you inquire calmly.

Jin-Goo appeared to be nervous. "Tonight...Mom stated that she wanted to spend adequate time with Hwannie. I believe my kid is awake because I just saw Lucia."

"They'll adore her. It seems that the staff is already aware of your daughter's existence. Lucia seemed to be head over heels in love with her. If Francesca accepts your daughter, will you marry her?" You smirk.

When Jin-Goo turned his face to your mocking look, he had a deadpan expression on his face "Don't be so funny, princess! My minor mistake could save me from a forced marriage. Seolhyun is my girlfriend, and I love her. She is my preferred princess, not that brat, Francesca Vicky, but my parents aren't big fans. According to my mother, she is an airhead because she is not a university graduate in Law or Politics." He frowns at the thought of his mother's outright rejection to meet the one he truly loves.

You have a big grin. "So...why don't you just marry Tala? She has a law degree. You'll look like a real family—-"

Jin-Goo was stunned as he glanced at you. "Are you insane!!! Just because she is the mother of my child does not qualify her to be my wife...Hmph!!!" He stood up and walked out of the lounge, irritated, with one stinky look in your amused expression.

You chuckled and shook your head, "We'll see about that!!!"

Just then, a text message notification alerted you on your cellphone. You frown and look at the ID-caller. A beautiful smile appears on your face, and it's your sassy American friend, Shaniqua from Los Angeles.

"Hey, chick... we're stoked for you to roll through our pad in LA this summer. Tyrella's gonna hook us up with tickets to the "BTS Love Yourself, Speak Yourself" concert to celebrate your late birthday. I know your bday's just around the corner. We're gearing up to snag those tickets before they're gone – you in?--"

Your eyes widen; oh my gosh! you forgot about the upcoming boys' concert.
