I personally love the opening. It's attention grabbing and I can ultimately tell it's going to be a good book. We can already see the complicated relationship and the dilemma the main character is facing. It'll leave a good room for world building. I would keep it this way but one suggestion is that I would flip some things around.

For example, I would start like this:

My finger inches towards the trigger and pretend the bullseye is my boyfriends face.

Our relationship is complicated....

See, I just flipped some things around and connected some things. This is only me going into such small little details to make it perfect because I truly don't have any suggestions. I'm really picky when it comes to openings because I feel like they're so important, but you did an amazing job. Congratulations on winning again ❤️
