Hope you've been well! Here is another update.

"Mum. Dad."

Nothing. They had kept on arguing.

Eucharia had just arrived home with Maitreyi and Zafira to seek revenge on Natalia. They didn't want to but Treyi here wasn't taking no for an answer for some reason so here they were.

Her mum was called Angelica and her dad was called Rakim instead. Due to them having argued so much recently, they didn't really like people that wasn't family coming to their house.

They didn't want others to know what was going on behind the scenes, that was why.

Hence why Euchy wanted both Treyi and Zafira to take the back way of the house, and why they were mad at her for not telling her parents that they were coming either.

Or telling them that they weren't allowed to go to her house in the first place.

Euchy had a younger brother known as Cortez, and a two year old cousin called Zainab. Her parents went out on their honeymoon and since there was no one they could trust to look after Zainab, they had brought her here instead.

You shouldn't be shouting in front of Zainab! She's only two and she's sleeping! From Angelica.

What about you? Aren't you shouting right now? Don't be such a hypocrite!

"Mum, Dad!" Eucharia had shouted at both of them when she had had enough. Cortez had asked her to make peace but a part of her wanted to do so herself. "Calm down. What's going on?"

Why did she ask that?

She already knew what was going on. They had argued about favouritism.

Cortez had come home with his report card today and he had gotten all Bs and 1 C. Angelica was so mad at his C, ignoring the fact that he got all Bs, but Rakim was happy with him.

Then they started getting angry. Rakim said if it was Eucharia, then Angelica would have been happy with whatever she had gotten.

They had been going on about this for just over forty minutes now.

It started to drive Cortez insane and Euchy didn't blame him.

She shouldn't have asked that. She didn't need a reminder, as well as another argument.

Sorrowfully, Angelica had apologised, hugging her because she had so busy arguing with Rakim that she hadn't seen her. Rakim had done the same thing as her.

"What is going on with you two?" Euchy had asked again, with the two of them not saying anything. "You know things are bad if your daughter has to make things right for you. You don't want the neighbours asking questions, do you?"

They shook their head.

"Look, if you guys are so sick of each other then why don't you just divorce? I wouldn't suggest anything like that, but I can't lie in saying that I think that's the best option for you two right now. Especially if you can't seem to agree on anything," Euchy had continued.

As responsible as her parents were, Eucharia had a breaking point that was reached ages ago.

She was done with this arguing. She just wanted to make peace.

"We can't divorce, baby. It wouldn't be fair on you, Cortez and Zainab."

"What's not fair is you two constantly nagging on at each other about goodness knows what!" Euchy had shouted at them.

She would never have dared shouted at them but her parents didn't say anything.

They actually deserved to be shouted at, if anything. They had been arguing for days on end about everything.

"Listen, when was the last time you two went out together outside?" Euchy had suggested. Mainly so that Treyi and Zafira hadn't got caught, but also because they actually needed time together. "Maybe you can sort out your differences."

"I hear there's a new and really cool planetarium," Cortez had added, with Euchy nodding. "You guys should go there. There's also an international all you can eat buffet there too. The food is cheap and good. You guys have money for that, right?"

Money? Yes.

Tolerance for each other? Not exactly.

"Then make tolerance for each other, y'all!" Euchy had beamed. "Look, you only live once. Make the most of it. Besides, you guys won't be tempted to argue because you'll be in public."

Not saying anything to one another, Angelica and Rakim had stared at each other from across the room, both of them sitting down in the dining room on their wooden stools.

They had argued so much lately that they couldn't even have sat next to each other. It was that dreadful.

"As long as neither you or Cortez plan anything whilst we are gone," Rakim stated. "We don't want any news that you had a party or anything whilst we were gone."

"Who has a party on a Wednesday, dad?" Cortez had laughed a bit. "We're not up to anything. Eucharia and I were just worried about you. And, you guys don't even have to get changed!"

They had even kind of looked like they needed to go out. Angelica had almost always dressed fancily, whether she was at home or not. She didn't know when anyone was going to visit.

Same with Rakim.

Sighing, Angelica had asked Rakim if he wanted to go to the planetarium, with Rakim saying yes, in the most begrudging way possible.

"Awesome! I just texted you two the details! Have fun!" Euchy grinned.

Angelica and Rakim had slowly put on their shoes and their jackets, before Rakim had unlocked the car from inside through the window, then leaving.

"No funny business, you hear me?" Angelica had double checked with her children. "And take turns to look after Zainab."

Euchy and Cortez had promised that they wouldn't have caused any trouble, waving at them, and Angelica had closed the door behind her.

They had waited for them to drive away, which was when Cortez had thanked his sister.

"What can I say?" Euchy smiled. "I'm no faker. I'm Eucharia the peacemaker."

She was going to look after Zainab first for an hour, then she was going to give her to Cortez.

"But she's sleeping."

"She's a very quiet baby, so we may not know when she wakes up," Euchy had reminded him. "Her parents didn't give us the alarm for when she wakes up. They forgot to, they were running late for their honeymoon when they dropped her."

Zainab's parents had gone to Dubai for their honeymoon. It was going to be for a month. It had been approximately 2 weeks now.

"Anyways, I have things to do and I know you do too. I'm talking about that upcoming test you have that you told me about," she had continued. "So I'll see you in an hour when I give Zainab to you."

He had nodded and Euchy was off. First to take a sleeping Zainab to her room as quietly as she could, and then to meet her friends who weren't supposed to be there.

In the meantime, Zafira and had been waiting for Euchy in her room:

Simultaneously talking about a lot of different things, mainly why Zafira hadn't left Natalia's group earlier.

"I just, I just felt like I wouldn't have known where to go and-"

Zafira had stopped halfway when Euchy had come in with Zainab and her cot.

The girls had helped her, but at the same time they couldn't have resisted obsessing over Zainab at the same time.

"You didn't tell me you had a sister."

"She's my cousin, Treyi," Euchy had corrected her, putting her in her cot. "Me and my brother are alternating looking after her every hour because my parents went out. So we have to be really quiet. But you don't have to be too quiet. She's a very deep sleeper."

Zafira was concerned that Cortez knew that they were in here, but they didn't.

If anything, that was another good reason as to why they should have been quiet by keeping their voices down. So that Cortez couldn't and wouldn't have suspected anything.

"You okay though?" Zafira wanted to know. "We heard your parents shouting."

"Yeah, I'm fine- thanks for your concern. Why do you think I suggested that they should leave the house? To get along more."

And so that they could have done what they wanted to do without getting caught. Or more specifically what Maitreyi wanted to do. The rest of them didn't want to do it.

They had started their research on Natalia straight away, and they had gotten a lot of information about the girl, mainly because of Zafira.

She had hated using things she had on Natalia against her but she didn't have much of a choice.

For example, Natalia had told everyone in the group her social media passwords in case she ever needed them to look after it for her - ie she was on holiday or something.

Whilst Zafira didn't tell them her passwords because she had still respected Natalia in a strange way, she did help them get revenge on the girl.

Seeking revenge on her was pretty nice, however Euchy and Zafira weren't in full support of it still. It was like doing something bad which felt liberating in a way, but at the same time they didn't agree with the bad thing.

They had found a lot of dirt on her, such as her past, who her ex boyfriends were (she had quite a few), and a really bad one, she had gotten an abortion when she was 17 due to an unwanted pregnancy.

That wasn't everything they had found, although they were still traumatised by the abortion. They had spent three hours doing this in total.

Angelica and Rakim must have been having a good time or something because they still weren't back home yet. Also, when Angelica had called Euchy, she seemed to be on some sort of dance floor with Rakim.

"I can't believe she would do something like that. And she's only what, 18?" Eucharia had asked.

"She kind of seems like the person that would so that, to be fair," Zafira had agreed. "She had this phase where she needed a boyfriend to be happy. She was extremely insecure at some point and she still is now."

At least they weren't laughing at her. In fact, they hadn't laughed at her throughout the whole thing. They weren't like that.

They were just shocked and surprised. But no laughter. Or planning to use any of the information against her. They had just done this for Maitreyi.

Speaking of Maitreyi, Euchy had noticed that she had seemed quiet all of a sudden and she wanted to know why.

"I don't know you guys. I thought doing this would be fun, and it was at first. Now though? I feel kind of guilty. After all, two wrongs don't make a right."

Not replying, Eucharia had taken a deep breath, inside and out. She had done so again.

"And how long have you been feeling this way?"

"Two hours."

She didn't say anything about that until now. She had just confessed it. Poor Euchy and Zafira, they had wasted so much time doing all of this for her.

Ending result? She didn't want to do it. And she kept her mouth shut.

"You've been feeling this way for two hours and you're only telling us now?!"

"You guys seemed into it-"

"Do you know how much time we wasted because of you?!" Eucharia had hollered at her, with Zafira staring at her. "It's because of you that we did this! I have a test coming up but I sacrificed revision for you. Did I want to do this? No, and neither did Zafira either, but because if you, Treyi, especially how you wouldn't take no for an answer, we did research on the girl."

Maitreyi had tried defending herself but Eucharia wanted her to leave the house.

She was so mad at her for wasting so much precious time that she didn't want to see her.

If she had told them this when she had started feeling this way, that was different. She was also trying to see if she had kept on feeling this way or not.

Eucharia didn't want to hear it though, screaming at Treyi to leave. Zafira had left too.

But just when they were about to leave?

Cortez had opened the door, telling Eucharia that it was his turn to look after Zainab and he had heard screaming.

Everyone stopped what they were doing.

Cortez didn't know that her friends were there, but he did now.
