"WAIT I HAVE AN IDEA." Roxy spoke up as the 2 boys looked at her, she grabbed the paper and the pencil from Luke's hand a scribbled a lyric. "There you go."
"I know all your secrets, you know all my deep dish?" Luke looked at her with raised as Roxy nodded, "Not bad." He mumbled and wrote some more words. "Okay Reggie give me a beat."ย He said to the boy as Reggie banged on the piano making a small beat. "I know all your secrets, you know all my deep dish guess that mean some things never-"
Luke's singing was interrupted when Reggie suddenly stopped and spoke up "Wait so.....when she says, deep dish, is she talking about pizza or..."
"No, Reggie, see it's a thing." Roxy began till Alex suddenly poofed in and landed on top of the piano with an wide grin. "Oh...hey Lexie."
"Oh, oh, hey man. Where you been." Reggie said to the blonde with a slight shocked expression due to the fact he came out of the no where.
"Um, kind of everywhere." Alex replied "Yeah, no I met a new ghost friend."
"For real?"
"Yeah, he answered a ton of questions."
"Yeah, like whether Julie was going to join the band or not?" Luke muttered bitterly ripping the lyrics from under Alex's leg.
"Um.....well, we didn't.. we didn't really get to that." Alex mumbled awkwardly looking and Roxy for an answer, she simply raised her eyes brows as he nodded in response. "But I think I know why we're here, okay, all ghost have like, unfinished business. So we need to do our unfinished business so that we can crossover."
"Why would we want to do that" Luke suddenly said, "I'm just saying, this is like our second chance, all we need to do is get Julie to play with us."
"Yeah." Reggie agreed "Not only can the girls sing, she can write to, Luke and I made a killer melody to one of her lyrics." Luke handed Alex his notebook full of lyrics as a slight hurt expression took over Alex face.
"Oh...without your drummer, cool." He mumbled as Roxy frowned and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Drumming is so 90s, okay." Luke laughed " we're just gonna.....stomp our feet now." He said as Roxy sent him a glare.
"Okay you know what else is also 90s, being rude, all right? Get woke, these are sensitive times." He snapped slamming the notebook into Luke's chest, Luke looked at him with a slightly shocked expression.
"Alex...ow." He muttered as Alex leaned over to Reggie and Roxy with a smirk, but Reggie only looked confused.
"Learned that from my new ghost friend."
"As you should." Roxy smiled as Alex turned to her, "I learned that one from Julie, she says it a lot."
"Woke." Reggie chuckled, "That's....that's a cool word.....what's does it mean?"
"No clue."
"It means like....like keep up I guess." Roxy explained, "I don't get it, people these days are weird."
"Definitely," Alex agreed.

Julie suddenly ran in with a panic expression which caused a the ghosts to look at her weirdly. "We have minutes, we've gotta review the song." Julie frantically said "Please tell you finished it."
"Yup we actually-" Luke began but Julie ignore him, "Alright, cool, let's practice." He mumbled as he grabbed his guitar and stood in front of a microphone, he fixed a few strings on his guitar before he put up a thumbs up towards Julie.
The other 3 bandmates also showed their signs of approval as Julie followed the small beat that Luke had created before putting on repeat, she then played a few notes before finally singing out the lyrics. A few times she would slightly stutter at the sight of Luke's horrible handwriting but she managed to fully get through.
"That was good, but have to make it perfect." Julie explained and restated the whole thing, so they went again, and again for 30 minutes. By the time they finished practicing Julie still had a panicked expression as she held a white t-shirt in her hand. Roxy put down her guitar and walked over to the girl, she would try to place a hand on her shoulder for comfort or something but since she was a ghost it would be...awkward.
"You've never been this nervous before, what's on your mind?" The brunette asked as Julie looked up with her desperate brown eyes, "Come on you can tell me anything, I won't tell those idiots back there." She whispered pointing to the 3 boys slapping each other like 5 year olds.
Julie softly chuckled as looked at the t-shirt "Flynn means a lot to me, if we mess this up then she'll call my dad and I'll start right back at square one. She has never been this mad before, I've seen her mad at others but never at me, it sucks."
"Well let me tell you something." Roxy mumbled "Being in a band with those three isn't easy, The amount of times they piss me off our whole entire friendship is way more than I can count. They once considered kicking me out because they wanted it to be an all boys band I didn't talk to them for a month, it broke me, but you know what happened?"
"What?"
"They came crawling back with forgiveness, it was hilarious actually, took me a while to fully trust them again but here we are. I know this story may seem stupid but trust me when you have a friendship so close like you and Flynn, you don't wanna let it go."
"How did you survive with so much testosterone around you?" Julie laughed as Roxy held back a giggle and looked towards the girl.
"Well...I didn't."
"Oh." Julie muttered, "Ohh."
"Yeah."
"Thank you, really." Julie smiled and let out another sigh as she stood up from the piano and walked towards the bathroom. Roxy turned around to look at the boys she called her family and laugh when she saw all 3 of them pouting and facing away from each other.
She stood up and walked towards them with her arms crossed, "What did you guys do." She spoke up as she simply got a huff from Reggie, she looked towards Alex who was practically on the verge of tears.ย
"H-H-He stole my drumstick, and then started playing on my drums and then he chipped it." Alex silently sobbed and showed his chipped drum stick, Roxy had to squint to notice the small crack on the tip of the drumstick.
"So, who broke it?" Roxy asked as Alex pull his hands away from his sobbing face and pointed it towards Reggie. "Reginald Peters!"
"I didn't mean to, I promise, I was just having some fun and then suddenly the thing is broken. But it's not my fault he was messing around with my bass strings!" Reggie accused as Alex looked at him with a shocked expression.
"No I didn't!"
"Yes you did!"
"No!"
"Yes!"
"Boys!" Roxy yelled as a door from behind her opened, she didn't even realize Julie had left the bathroom till now. A familiar dark skin girl stood on the other side talking to her as she suddenly began pointing at the air, Roxy furrowed her brows but ignored it. "Reggie, go over there, Alex go with your drums, if either of you ruin this for Julie I'll kick your asses." Roxy threatened as the boys separated to get their own instruments prepared but a sudden gasp from Reggie caught Roxy's attention before she could grab her guitar.
"She just walked through me." Reggie mumbled as the brunette girl rolled her eyes and grabbed her guitar, "Julie tell her to move, I need some space."
"Suck it up Reggie."
"No, it feels weird."
"Uh..actually, can you move over there, Reggie needs some space to rock out and he feels kinda weird walking through you." Julie requested as Flynn laughed loudly, the 4 bandmates awkwardly glanced at each other but Reggie stood his ground waiting for her to move.
"Boy, when you create a world, you really live in it." The girl laughed as Julie pushed a chair and forced Flynn to sit down.
"If you'll notice, there's no equipment that will produce a hologram, feel free to look around." The girl said and walked towards her piano, "The guys took a poem that I wrote about you and put it to music."
"Aww, I wish I didn't have to talk to your dad after this." Flynn pouted as Roxy sensed a slight bit of sarcasm slip through her tongue.
Julie chuckled lightly at the comment before a sigh left her lips, "It's called flying solo...hope you like it." Roxy sent her thumbs up as Julie smiled and begin to play the all too familiar beat they had practiced with for the past 30 minutes. "If I leave you on a bad note, leave you on a sad note, guess that means I'm buying lunch that day. I know all secrets, you know all my deep dish, guess that means something they never..they never change. We both know what I, what I, what I mean, when I look you it's like I'm looking at me." As the band suddenly flashed in Flynn let out a yelp at the sight of the ghost, Roxy let a smirk play on her lips. "My life, my life will be real low, zero, flying solo."
"Oh-oh-oh." The band harmonized
"My life, my life, would be be low, zero, flying solo without you."
"Oh-oh-oh."
"Hey!"
The band loudly sang as Flynn looked around with shock, confusion, and a bit of fear as Luke slowly approached her. Roxy looked towards Reggie and walked over with a grin, they looked at each other in a way they haven't in a while, in a way that showed something was else hiding behind the friendship faรงade.
" Yeah, you know who I am liking way before I like them, duh, because you like them first. And if somebody hurts you I'm gonna get hurt too, that's just how we work, yeah, that's just how we work. It'll never.."
"Change."
"We both know what I, what I, what I.."
"Mean."
"When I look at you it's like I'm looking at me. My life, my life would be real low, zero, flying solo."
"Oh-oh."
"My life, my life would be real low, zero, flying solo without you." Julie slowly pulled Flynn from her seat and lead her towards the back of the garage where Luke sat, he smirked as she stared at him in fear.
"Hey!" He yelled and slightly leaned towards her causing Flynn to step back
"Yeah, yeah, hey! Yeah, yeah, my life would be real low, zero, flying solo without you." Roxy smiled as Flynn walked over and stuck her hand into Reggie's shoulder, immediately she pulled back with a baffled look.
"Weird right." Reggie giggled
"They're ghost!"
"Oh, we prefer musician spirits." Alex corrected as the bandmates nodded in agreement, the band continued playing so they didn't flash out.
"Julie." Luke called out, "So does this mean you're joining our band?" The boy asked as Flynn stepped up with a smirk.
"Actually." She laughed "I think you're joining her band." The 2 best friends had reunited which caused Roxy to smile, she loved their friendship and seeing them happy again made her happy.
"I'm gonna go with what she said." Julie laughed as Flynn looked towards Roxy who lightly strummed her guitar.
"And her, she's pretty." Flynn pointed as Roxy raised a brow with a small pink tint on her cheeks, "Seriously."
"Thank you." Roxy chuckled, "Looks like the girls are dominating this one Luke." The brunette winked as the boy as he grinned back.
"My life my life would be real low, zero, flying solo!"
"Oh-oh."
"My life my life would be real low, zero, flying solo without you." Julie sang as her and Flynn happily danced "Hey! Yeah, yeah, hey! Yeah, yeah, my life my life would be real low, zero flying Solo with you."
"You." Julie faintly sang as she looked up at Flynn with a genuine smile, "Still wanna talk to my dad?" She questioned sarcastically.
"No, I think I'm good."
Roxy put down her guitar and walked beside Reggie, he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and gave her a side hug. The 2 band mates shared a special friendship, an unbreakable friendship, she looked up at the boy with a smile she was so in love
