"You missed a spot," Hanako pointed, smirking as he dodged you swinging the mop at his head for the fifth time that day.
"Sorry if cleaning isn't my forte," you said sarcastically.
"Well, that's fine," Hanako assured. "You've been slacking lately, but you'll probably get better at it once your done cleaning the toilets, sinks, and mirrors." At that, you groaned in annoyance, wanting nothing more to snap the mop in half.
"I'm not doing this," you growled, throwing the mop down and turning to leave, only to stop when cold arms wrapped around you.
"You had better not be disobeying me, Y/n," Hanako whispered. "Because if you are, I'll have to punish you."

You gasped, but before you could question him, he released you.
"Gotcha! Wow, you looked so scared!" He laughed and you huffed.
"I wasn't scared," you said, picking the mop back up and lowering your head to hide your blush. "I-in fact... I was just about to tell you that if you didn't let go of me, I would beat the living hell out of you."
"Yeah, right," Hanako said, smiling as he realized how much he has missed spending time with you like this.

Thanks to Hanako erasing your memories, you forgot a lot of things. He had erased your memories of the fight between Hanako and Teru the other day, and you forgot your encounter with Sakura and everything she had said. At first, you found it strange that you couldn't recall the previous days' events, but you eventually brushed it off as it just being an uneventful day. But Hanako hadn't forgotten. He wanted to know why you and Sakura were even talking with each other in the first place. He knew if she was doing anything, it was because Tsukasa had told her to, and not knowing why put him on edge. He began following you more often, and there were only a few places that you were alone because if he couldn't be there, he'd send Haku-Joudai to watch you instead.

"Hey, Hanako?" Your words snapped him out of his thoughts, and he hummed in response. "What's your favorite snack?" Hanako turned to look at you.
"Where did this come from?" He asked, and you shrugged.
"Well, the Home Economics classroom just opened back up to students, so I just felt like making something."

You let out a relieved sigh as you finished mopping the floor, preparing to go dump the water out before realizing that Hanako had gone silent. You looked up at him to see him holding his head down bashfully to hide his blush.
"Well...It's kinda embarrassing," he muttered, and you titled your head in confusion.
"It's fine if you don't want to tell me," you assured, turning to leave and grab some more cleaning supplies from the janitor's closet. "I can just find something else to make if you don't-"
"No, wait!" Hanako called, and you turned to face him once more.
"I...Well, I-I really like donuts," he muttered bashfully, and you chuckled at his nervousness before opening the door and motioning him to follow you.
"Well, come on," you said, and Hanako looked up at you.
"Where are we going?"
"To make some donuts, of course."

You stood in the Home ec room, flipping through the pages of the recipe book. Hanako stood behind you, his chin resting on your shoulder to see what you were doing.
"So what kind of donuts do you like?" You asked as you reached the D section, where many different types of donuts were listed.
"Well, homemade ones or plain ones," he shrugged, and you nodded, flipping to a simple recipe before moving it to the side, so he had a better view of the picture beside it.
"How about these?" You asked, and Hanako licked his lips at the sight.
"Those look great!"

You nodded, setting the book down on the stand before looking over what you needed.
"Alright, I'll need milk, sugar, eggs, and butter..."

Hanako watched as you worked around the kitchen, a smile making its way onto his face as he wished things would always stay this way.

"How much longer?" Hanako whined childishly, staring at the Donuts inside the oven.
"Five minutes less than the last time you asked," you replied, and Hanako let out another whine.

You sighed, standing up from your chair and grabbing all of the bowels and utensils you used, and placing them in the sink.
"How about you help me clean up?" You suggested. "I bet that'll make the time go faster."
"But that's so boring," Hanako groaned, and you rolled your eyes as you reached to turn on the water, only to jump when you felt a cold hand rest on top of yours while another wrapped around your waist.

"Come on," he whispered, cold lips brushing against your ear. "I have something else we can do while we wait." You craned your neck to stare at him, only for your eyes to widen when he threw flour onto your apron. Your shocked expression made the apparition burst out laughing.

"Gotcha!" He laughed, and you felt your face heat up. "What did you think I was-" Before he could finish, you grabbed a handful of flour from the bowl and threw it on him, the white powder covering the front of his uniform.
"Oh," he said, laugher dying down as he slowly reached for the pack of flour next to him. "So you wanna-" Before he could finish, you threw another handful of flour at him, this time hitting him directly in the face. You grabbed the bowl and ran from him, attempting to duck behind the counter before he could hit you.
"I don't think so!" Hanako shouted, chucking a handful of flour right as you ducked behind the counter, the powder hitting you in the forehead and getting it in your hair.

The two of you went back and forth, laughing as you threw flour on each other but also getting it all over the kitchen. You threw another handful before ducking down to reach for more, but your eyes widened when you realized there was none left in your bowl. You took a white napkin out of the pocket of your apron and waved it in the air.
"Alright, I surrender!" You said, coming out from behind the counter with your hands up. Hanako smiled, throwing up handfuls of flour and letting it rain down on him.
"Victory!" He cheered, and you chuckled in amusement.

A familiar ding sound came from the oven, and Hanako smiled as you grabbed the oven mitts.
"Yay! They're ready!" He cheered as you took the donuts out of the oven and set them down.
"Yeah, but they still need to cool," you said. "So, now are you ready to clean up?" Hanako was about to object until he realized the two of you were covered head to toe in flour, and the kitchen looked no better.
"Fine," he said, and you smiled.
"Great, now grab the mop."

"You missed a spot," you pointed as Hanako finished mopping the last of the flour from the kitchen floor.
"I think you've forgotten who's the assistant here," he said, and you laughed as you put the last utensil in the dish drainer. You looked around, letting out a content sigh as you looked around the freshly cleaned kitchen before turning towards Hanako.
"Alright, I think the donuts are ready now." At that, Hanako dropped the mop and rushed over to the table, and you dried your hands before following him.
"Sorry in advance if these suck. This is the first time I've-" Before you could finish, Hanako had already picked up the largest one and took a large bite out of it, and you watched, halfway waiting for him to spit it out in disgust.

"Wow..." He whispered. "These are amazing!" Your eyes widened in disbelief.
"Really?"
"Yeah!" He said, stuffing the rest of it into his mouth before picking up another one and holding it out towards you.
"Try one!" He said, and you reached to take it from him only for him to pull it away before you could.
"Just open up," he said, and you quickly shook your head.
"Hell no, I can feed myself," you said, reaching for it again, but Hanako once again pulled it away before you could.
"Well, I guess I'm not eating one," you said stubbornly, crossing your arms and turning away from him. There was a moment of silence, but the sweet smell of the donuts became increasingly stronger. You slowly opened your eyes to see Hanako waving the donut under your nose hauntingly.
"Come on," he said. "They're really good." As much as you tried not to, you couldn't help but let out a laugh at his childishness.
"Fine, but only this one," you said, and Hanako smiled triumphantly. He held up the donut, and you let out of huff before opening your mouth and taking a small bite. Your eyes widened at the sweet taste, and you found yourself smiling as you chewed it quickly before swallowing it and opening your mouth for another bite.

Hanako let out a small chuckle as he held the donut out for you to take another bite.
The two of you sat there eating donuts until the sound of the principals' voice came from the intercom.
"All club activities have ended. Any students still in the school need to begin making their way towards the exit."
"Awww," Hanako pouted, wrapping his arms around your neck from behind and wrapping his legs around your waist.
"Come on, Hanako, I've already stayed longer than I should've, and it's not like you won't see me tomorrow." You grabbed your backpack, double-checking that everything was clean before exiting the home ec room with the apparition still latched onto you.

You walked in silence for a moment before the school exit was now in sight, and you knew you had to think of some way to get him off.
"Hey," you said. "How about, if you let me go, we can make some more donuts later?" You suggested, and Hanako hummed quietly, seemingly thinking it over for a moment.
You exited the school before stopping at the gates, waiting for him to make up his mind.
"Hanako, you have to let go now," you said, and you felt Hanako finally release you to hold out his pinky finger.
"Do you promise?" He asked, and you smiled, wrapping your pinky finger around his.
"Yes, I promise."

Hanako stood in front of the gates, watching you walk away. The farther you got, as soon as you were out of sight, he couldn't help but frown slightly, wishing there was some way he could make you stay with him.
