🌺Life is a stream

On which we strew

Petal by petal, the flower of our heart;

The end lost in a dream,

They float past our view,

We only watch their glad, early start.🌺

Kim Publishing House

Namjoon sat in his leather-bound chair, furrowed brows whirling around, thinking about the new information that his team was about to publish. Nonetheless, the unknown author is currently on hiatus on a secluded island in the Philippines, making it incredibly difficult for his team to move forward while she is away.

He presses the phone button and connects with Mi-Young, his Desktop publishing designer. She entered with a broad smile on her face after a few minutes. Namjoon admires her elegant attire. He appreciates it and believes all of his staff must be immaculately dressed.

"Please check on this--there are a few title ideas for Miss Bong's novel, but we can't get hold of her, and the editors need her feedback asap," Namjoon said, handing her the materials on the table. "Please take care of it and alert my eomma about our eccentric author's latest disappearance act." He sighed and closed his eyes as he sat back in his chair. He's in desperate need of a getaway. He worked 40 hours a week and was utterly exhausted.

"Joon...I'll get right on it," Mi-young said softly to her boss. " My dear, you are in desperate need of a vacation. Workaholic tendencies are harmful to your health. Your mother complains that you spend too much time at work. I know... I know you had a lot on your plate, but you need to unwind. Can I come over and cook something for you? We haven't hung out in a long time. I...miss you." Namjoon began to smile, and her eyes closed at her whiny tone.

Namjoon squints open his eyes and apologizes to his best friend. " 'm sorry, Mi. Everything is overblown by Eomma. At the office, I only slept once. Our Authors are getting a lot of attention lately, and television interviews are lining up. Please check to see if the printers have completed the second batch of poetry books for the language department at Korea National University. Allow despatch to ensure that it is out of the warehouse before noon, if possible." His dimples were playing hide and seek in his cheeks. Mi- Young's heart is racing.

It's not funny how much she loves Namjoon. She wishes he could see her as a prospective wife after putting her on the friend zone bus. They go well together so well. They're both serious, conscientious, and intelligent, and they run this company like a well-oiled machine. They have the potential to be fantastic together.

"OK, I'll see how far they got," Mi-young said. Namjoons' PA knocked, entered, and bowed to the seniors. Namjoon lifts his brows to her, waiting for her to respond. She apologises as she looks into her senior, Ms Mi- Young's, slightly irritated eyes. Because there were rumours about her and her boss, the Mi-Young dislikes her. Everyone at work knows Ms Mi-Young has a thing for their strict boss, who isn't interested in dating his best friend, who craves his attention. Her stern and arrogant demeanour and her love struggles are frequently discussed in several departments and cafeterias.

He looked to his young PA and said, "Yes, Yeji." She is stunning and self-sufficient. She was extremely cautious around Mi-Young, who regarded Yejis' anxious eyes with fury. Mi-Young can be pretty intimidating. Unfortunately, he and Yeji were caught in a very compromising situation some time ago, and Mi-Young couldn't forgive the young 22-year-old PA.

"Sir, you did not respond to your phone call. Mr Kim Seokjin wanted to remind you that you need to confirm the colours of the groomsmen's male flower lapel corsages and that you have a lunch meeting with Mr Min and Mr Jung." She smiled brightly, bowed to them both, and walked out of the offices. Mi-young gazed at him with her arms folded and her brows arched. She had no idea. She was unaware that he had an appointment with Bangtan.

"Oh, my Goodness! Please excuse me, Mi-Young. I needed to double-check before our Hyung had an aneurysm. This Saturday is his brother's wedding. Hoseok and Yoongi are both busy at work, so today is the only time we can get together. So, thank you for offering to cook for us." He smiled softly, stood up, and hurriedly put on his tan jacket.

He was a little more laid-back today because it was his half-day. He's excited to eat lunch with his Hyungs. They needed to catch up on a lot of things. Mi Young sighs glumly. How will she persuade Namjoon to see her as more than just a colleague and best friend? He hasn't dated in years since dumping that foreign girl with whom he was involved a few years ago, but she was convinced he was having a fling with Yeji after tabloids captured them kissing on the deck of Seokjin's yacht. She despises the girl who managed to entice Namjoon to respond to her approaches.

Namjoon explained that it was a mistake and that Yeji was a little tipsy when she confided in him, sobbing in his arms, that her long-term boyfriend had just broken up with her and initiated the kiss. But, much to Mi-young and his eommas' displeasure, he forgave Yeji's offense and allowed her to keep her job.

He is friends with her uncle Jackson, who attended Seoul National University with Bangtan.

Even three of his Bangtan Club members are already married and have had a child or two, so his mother pushes him to be married. By now, even the youngest maknae has two children. Others, like Taehuyng, have been dating for a long time. He, Jimin, and Seokjin are the only ones still flying solo.

As they walked out together to the elevators, he took his phone and wallet and nodded to Mi-young. When they pass the executive office, Mi-Young scoffs at Yeji. Yeji tightens her lips and nods at her bosses, not looking at Mi-Young.

"You were meant to fire her a long time ago, Namjoon," Mi-Young frowns, " With that tabloid, she tarnished your reputation. Everyone thinks you're having a fling with her now, and she's enjoying the attention and celebrity she's received from that article. It would've been best if you had shoved her away from you instead of letting her kiss you drunkenly. What a nerve!"

"It's over, Mi," Namjoon said, grinning at Mi-Young's obvious displeasure and slight jealousy. "It's over, Mi; Yeji is a valuable employee. I appreciate her work ethic; I forgave her because I'm the only one who knows why she did it. Please let it go. I know you are concerned about my well-being and protecting me. You are a wonderful friend." He gently lays his hand on her shoulder.

Mi- Young exhaled deeply, her hopes dashed yet again by the friend-zoning, "Joon, I don't like her. No excuses, let's eat breakfast tomorrow. My parents also miss you and want to know how you're doing. Perhaps after the wedding, we might pay them a visit to Jeolla. Oh, do you have a wedding date? "In his amused gaze, she inquired eagerly.

"I noticed you've received a wedding invitation, so I've promised my sister that I'll bring her along as my plus one. I don't have time for dates which will drink excessively, and then I'll have to look after them. Who are you taking...possibly a potential boyfriend? "He wiggles his eyes. Mi-Young blinked disappointedly once more. She wanted to accompany him. She might ask one of the office's executives.

They're almost to the lower level, where Mi-Young will go to the warehouse to work out the book issue. He said goodbye to Mi-Young and proceeded to the underground parking. He was talking to his driver on the phone. Today he is going to drive himself.

It was a Saturday, so the reception was quiet. At the moment, just half of the workers are on the job. Namjoon went downstairs as his driver had just pulled up in front of him from around the corner. He admired his new Maserati, which was black and white. Dealers delivered five models to his residence a few days ago, from which he could choose. He is a true car enthusiast who loves Italian cars.

He expresses gratitude to his driver and tells him that he is free to leave for the rest of the day. This weekend, he plans on driving himself around. He also has a Bangtan luncheon on Seokjin's yacht on Sunday. As he placed his cellphone on the speaker in his car, it rang.

Hoseok

"Are you on your way, Joon?"

On the speaker, he can hear Hoseoks' vibrant voice. He smirked.

"Yup, we're still meeting at KwonSooksoo," Namjoon said as he headed down Gangnam's celebrity restaurant strip. He and the other members of the BANGTAN Club are incredibly fortunate to live such a privileged life. They have access to the best that life has to offer.

"Yes, should we get the usual for you so we can just dig in when you arrive?" his friend suggests.

"Okay, you can order my favourite dishes from the menu for me. Right now, I'm pretty hungry." He chuckles as Hoseok laughs in the background, and he can hear Yoongi. He hung up and proceeded to park in the specified space. He was cautious because he earned his driver's license late in his twenties, much to the delight of the BANGTANs. He didn't have the time or energy to get his permits, especially since there were willing drivers around.

His Hyungs were pleased when he arrived because they hadn't seen him in a few days, and they enjoyed hanging out with each other. The boys were seated in a separate cubicle and could relax and enjoy their dinner. The executive chef also came over to their table to have a brief conversation with the famous trio-his regular customers.

Yoongi smiled and sipped from his glass, "So, how's the wedding planning going? Seokjin has given you a hard task. Fortunately, the wedding will take place on his yacht. The wedding weekend we will all spend on the yacht. His brother will take his new wife somewhere with my charted helicopter, My gift."

Namjoon takes a deep breath and sighs. "We're both lucky. I almost forgot about the lapel flowers and forgot to confirm them. Why did the bride make such a last-minute colour change?"

Yoongi makes a sniggering sound. "One of the blossoms, according to some of her family's elders, represents evil omens. Her Ajumma is a superstitious lady. And the bride isn't willing to risk anything."

When they think of Seokjin's eccentric future sister-in-law, they all laugh.

"It was a stroke of luck that you could avoid being a part of the wedding party. Me, Hoseok and Taehyung, on the other hand, did not have such great luck." Namjoon sighs quietly to himself. Yoongi quickly excused himself from the wedding party, explaining that he and Yeonra are still young parents with a fussy baby and that he needs to be available to his wife. He won't be able to attend rehearsals or other events. Hoseok was not so lucky, as his wife was still pregnant. Thus he had no excuse. Taehyung was unconcerned since he and Dilraba had not discussed marriage. He was hesitant at first, but she was eager to marry him. It's a shame he hasn't regained his memories after two years. His "ex-fiancee" gave up hope and returned to Denmark, attempting to forget about him and move on with her life.

"How are Guks and Jimin doing these days?" Namjoon asked with a smile.

"Jenna is due to give birth in less than a month, and because Guks is so apprehensive about being present for the delivery, BANGTAN decided to be there to watch and record his reaction. It will make perfect revenge and blackmail material in the future. Jimin...is Jimin. I heard his grandfather is working on a unique project for him, providing him with many heiresses to persuade him to quit his carefree lifestyle. We'll see how things go."

They're all laughing and having a great time together. Namjoon had to go to the Flower shop at noon; luckily, it was not far from the restaurant, and he will be there in five minutes.

Hoseok, look at Yoongi," Yoongs. I know you brought me in your car, but may I join Namjoon at the flower shop? I want to get my lovely wife a bouquet of her favorite flowers and some personalized custard chocolates. I want to cheer her up because she's been suffering from awful morning sickness...if that's okay with you?"

"It's all fine," Yoongi says, waving his hand. "Just keep an eye on Namjoon to ensure he doesn't destroy any flowerpots."

Namjoon grinned and wrinkled his nose. He was dubbed the "God of Destruction" because of his reputation.

"It's all right, Hoseok, let's go."

He rose to his feet, and the rest followed suit. Yoongi paid the bill, and they left the restaurant with contented hearts.

They were on their way to Kwon Petals Floweshop, a high-end flower shop in Gangnam where most celebrities acquire their flowers. Kwon Hana is a one-of-a-kind brand. Her revenues soared after she completed floral arrangements for the Blue House. She creates flower arrangements for celebrity weddings, presidential inaugurations, and various other events.

Hoseok and he had an excellent bond, and all of the Hyungs who are married want him and Seokjin to also get married. But he isn't in that much of a hurry. They all wanted to know if he had affections for his PA and feelings for his best friend, who was clearly in love with him.

"I like Mi-Young as a friend...but we are too alike," Namjoon sighs deeply and hastily glances at Hoseok, texting on his phone. "I'm not sure. My eomma would like me to date her, but she doesn't excite me in the least. She's sultry and sophisticated, for sure, but--"

Hoseok chuckled, "--she doesn't awaken your passion."

"You can say it, Hobi...true,"Namjoon chuckles."She's just too cautious and predictable. "A meticulous perfectionist."

"Joon...you need excitement in your life," Hoseok exclaimed, laughing. "Could you take a look at my wife? I'm not sure how that mind works. Every day, she makes me fall more in love with her. She's the reason I'm here. I adore her for her quirks, which drive me insane..."

"I desire that type of love...but I'm too calculated, and I despise disorder and chaos," Namjoon says, his lips pressed together in a calculating look. " The girl of my dreams must be able to understand me-fully-"

"Your standards are too high," Hosoek grins. "Only the American beauty you dated for years during our University days could maintain your interest, not even the most beautiful Hwang -heiress of Hwang Automobiles. You dumped her when she left, and you never seemed to heal from the breakup."

" Yeah...Celine was one of a kind," Namjoon says with a nod. "But after Uni, I wasn't interested in long-distance relationships. She is well aware of this. I'm relieved she's finally in a solid relationship."

"Tell me about it," Hoseok grumbled, "I've had a lifetime of experience with long-distance relationships."

They arrive just in time to snag the best parking spot at Kwon Petals.

The shop front was brimming with a variety of fragrant flowers in vases. He and Hoseok entered the trendy shop with great smiles on their faces.
