(There aren't that many people reading this but would anyone be interested in a "Q & A" with the characters?)

The drive home was silent, despite the winter air chilling the car, I was fuming. It felt like someone dipped my head in a sauna, and left the rest of my body frozen in ice.

Lilah was sitting there simply staring out the window, her poofy coat covered up her small stature and make it look like she was being eaten by a marshmallow.

I looked ahead at the road and made a left turn to get to our house -correction my house-. Lilah sucked in a breath and seemed more tense than she was a second ago. I parked the car in the driveway and hopped out taking the key with me, Lilah slowly got out of the car and walked up to the door as if it were an animal that was going to eat her.

I opened the door for her, being careful not to make skin contact. She nodded a silent thank you and stepped into the house.

She walked around the quiet house with me trailing her as if she'd never been here. She turned around with tears in her eyes. In an instant her arms were around my torso squeezing gently. I didn't know what was acceptable for me to do so I placed my arms so delicately around her shoulders she probably couldn't even feel them.

She pulled away and took a step back, "I'm a jerk." She whispered.

I went to say something but couldn't.

"I mean I was so lost so so lost, and I couldn't get out of this dark wave pool I'd created for myself so I took it out on you and that wasn't fair." She rambled.

"No, it really wasn't, I cried and was broken into pieces and quite honestly I still am." I said back.

She looked at me with an expression I couldn't read, or was just to angry to try and read.

"Me letting you stay in my house is simply so you can avoid being sexually harassed or drugged by that guy, this doesn't mean we're getting back together or that we are just gonna be all hunky dory with each other now. You hurt me so badly, and literally trampled my feelings and I dont know that I can forgive you." I continued on.

"I don't know what you were expecting from this, from abandoning me and making me feel like I was the reason you did that to yourself," I motion towards her wrists which she self consciously grabbed. "I have a fight tonight, 7 PM. Go ahead and make yourself at home, you can have the main bedroom I'll take the couch."

I turned to walk away the turned back to her. I walked over and opened her hand placing my debit card into it, "While I'm out you should buy yourself some clothes since I'm assuming it's all at his house, dont worry about the amount of money you spend I got plenty at the last fight." I said quietly.

Then I walked off.

2 hours later~

Lilah could be seen sitting on my bed staring at her wrists, sometimes she would be crying other times she just had this blank stare on her face.

I grabbed my keys, "Alright Lilah! I'm leaving!" I yelled.

"Ok!" I got back.

I put the keys back on the table by the door deciding that if Lilah needed to leave she could use the car after all the ring was a good 5 minutes away from the house and I had an hour.

As I was walking with my duffel bag slung over my shoulder, I realized that it was pretty cold out. My nose burned from the whipping cold and my ears were numb. I ran the rest of the way to get my blood flowing again.

I stopped by Jim's bar and asked for a cup of hot water. He looked at me with a strange expression, "I have a fight and cant be weighed down." I explained.

He came back with a cup of hot water as asked, "Oh and yeah, expect a visit from me later." I said on my way out.

I heard him laugh before the door closed. And so I finished walking over to the arena, well the run down building with a crappy arena in it. I smashed the cup, threw it away, and walked inside.
