━ chap 11. hawkmoth's defeat !

"Don't leave me," She whispered in horrible voice crack, and moved her face down closer to his so their noses just touched, a few of her tears hitting his skin, "please, I can't do this without you-"

The butterflies screeching got closer to them now which had her head snapping up away from him, and felt her stomach churn in fear seeing Hawkmoth now hovering in front of them, smirking wickedly.

"Don't touch him!" Ladybug exclaimed protectively through a cry, as she pulled Cat Noir's body closer to her chest that had his head falling into the crook of her neck, and she shuffled back the best she could with them both from Hawkmoth.

He landed on the metal they both were placed on, as the dark butterflies behind him screech and his purple aura got brighter. He tilted his masked face down at their figures cradled together, and waited to see what she would do.

Ladybugs body was shaking with fear but wouldn't show it in front of the villain, as she matched his menacing glare with one of her own, and pulled Cat Noir closer to her protectively, wrapping her arms tighter around his back and shoulders.

She glanced down at his face hidden in her neck, feeling his slow breaths hitting her skin as her suited fingers brush through his blocks briefly, knowing she had to do something without his help to stop Hawkmoth

Giving one last once look over on the male she loved more than she thought she ever would, Ladybug gently placed his head against the metal next to her legs, as her glaring eyes snap up to Hawkmoth, jaw clenched with rage.

The hero then goes to swiftly pounce up from her spot seeing Hawkmoth brining his hand up to most likely do something, and yells out as she charged at him blindly.

However, before she could even do anything, her body was caught in an invisible force that caused the breath to get knocked out her, and was now being levitated above the ground in Hawkmoth's power.

"No!" She cried out in alarm struggling against the strong hold over her body, as she felt herself quivering trying to break the telekinesis he was using on her, and choked out a few pained whimpers when it was getting tighter around her neck.

"I can feel your bones shaking!" Hawkmoth declares in his spin-chilling tone that was overlapped by others, as he scrunched his knuckle up, resulting in her grabbing onto her throat not being able to breath. He smirked wickedly realising something, "You're just a scared little girl, aren't you?"

She tried to talk back hearing his words but the pressure around her throat got intenser, causing her hands to claw at it desperately, with tears of pain and exhausting building up fast. She thought this was the worst of it, but what happened next made loosing seem the only thing she was good at.

Hawkmoth used his other hand that wasn't holding her up in the air by his power, to scrunch his knuckles up once more as her earrings go to glow a red aura. Not even a second later, they were easily pulled out of her ears by his power, and her eyes go wide in horror seeing them, as her hand goes to desperately reach out for them.

Tikk proofed mid air when the earrings were flying away from her, as her scared expression matches her owners one, and turns back to look at Ladybug also trying to reach out for her hand. But it was too late, because Hawkmoth closed his hand around the jewellery, and Tikki disappeared back into the them, now in his possession.

Ladybug's wide eyes didn't go back to normally as they just got bigger, as she felt her heart drop in fear knowing that the one person who should't have their Miraculous, now did and it was all her fault.

She cries out when Hawkmoth made her body straighten up in the air, meeting his sinister expression with her tears, as his moves sideways which goes to send her flying through the air, and to land across the metal roughly away from Cat Noir's body.

Her head knocked into the metal first which instantly made her vision go dark, as she landed against her side and the power of Ladybug disappeared from her body, as well with the suit covering her. A few tears drop from her closed eyelids, and they mingled with the many wounds on her face from the fight.

Hawkmoth turned away from the teen girl when he saw her done for over on the other side, and opened his palm up to reveal the levitating, glowing earrings. He made a few hand movements to control them, as he grunts and makes them transfer into his Miraculous on his chest, as they now unify as one unstoppable power.

Once the opening of his brooch closed up again a gleeful shout of triumph left him, as he outstretched his arms up which made a massive amount of pulping purple butterflies to appear out from him. The flapping creatures spiral up around him, until they began to spread all out through Paris, to create even more chaos for the all ready ruined city.

Back down where a knocked out (Y/N) was who was slowly waking up hearing a familiar soft spoke calling her name, a bunch of dark butterflies were circling around them on the piece of metal, and trapped them inside the purple illuminated circle.

"(Y/N)! Get back on your feet! Stand up!" Tikk's glowing form appeared in front of her falling figure, as her face held one of confidence, and encouragement for her owner even if Tikki wasn't there physically, "Don't let your fears win, be strong."

A pained groan lifted the human girls lips at Tikki's words, knowing what she was saying was true but felt too weak and exhausted to move. Her body was aching all over, followed by a lot of scratches on her face that had dried blood covering them.

Her eyes barely even open up to just see Cat Noir's unconscious figure still on the metal, one of his hands outstretched limply in a way that almost seemed like he was trying to reach for hers, as one of hers was like that as well even from the distance between them.

Hawkmoth was levitating just above the air with his power still, as he was getting closer to where his body was and looked down at him with a cold expression, having no idea who he was really about to hurt terribly.

Her stomach churns watching the villain get closer to her other half, and gritted her teeth to ignore her pain as she weakly manvoure herself to lean up a little, "He's too strong." She helplessly weeps out, and scrunches her knuckles up tightly, bottom lip wobbly with emotion, "I need Ladybug. I can't do this, I'm nothing without her."

Hawkmoth had grabbed Cat Noir by the jaw off the ground harshly, which made his body hang in the air by the grip. Hawkmoth used his other hand to charge up his purple electricity, as he made Cat Noir's clawed hand with his ring fly up, and tried to take his Miraculous by his purple sparks all over his glove that travelled to Cat's.

He was very close to doing so by how the ring was slipping off the finger it was on, but Cat Noir's eyes fluttered open just barely, and made his hand charge up with neon green power that was his cataclysm through gritted teeth.

Cat Noir went to swing that hand at Hawkmoth's face which did slam into him, and it made the villain grunt in surprise as Cat Noir's body was dropped back onto the metal surface quite roughly once more.

Hawkmoth brought a hand down from his masked face, and gasped a bit realising he wasn't hurt, as a raged expression takes over him now looking at the fallen hero. He outstretched his hand out that made Cat Noir's body start to levitate off the floor, as he was spinning in a slow circle and was trying to fight back against the hold, but wasn't strong enough in his current state.

Through his blurry gaze his lidded green eyes land on (Y/N)'s hurt figure on the ground still, as all he could just see was a blurred figure of a girl that he assumed was the one he loved, "Help me, Ladybug..." He weakly pleads through a whimper, his own tears stinging him as his suit began to get slitted by Hawkmoth's power.

Her face scrunched up in hopelessness as she heard his beg from where she was, a few more tears slipping from her eyes as she digs her fingers into the metal, still fallen against the floor in pain. Hearing him so helpless made her heart ache, and she wanted nothing more to save him, but with her current wounded body and without Ladybug... there wasn't much she could even do for him.

"Ladybug doesn't exist without you." Tikk's soft and wise voice was back again through the girls ears, as Tikki flew up beside her head and gazed into her teary (E/C)'s warmly, "And long as love will reign over fear in your heart, you don't need a mask to be who you already are."

(Y/N) pressed her palms into the metal as she weakly pushed herself up from her stomach touching the metal, and breathed heavily at the weight pushing down on her. Her thoughts drift back to that special night with Cat Noir, as he too said something very similar to her like Tikki did.

"You save the world every day with your mask," He softly began to confess in a adoration filled tone, gazing at her like she was his entire world and more, "but the girl behind it saved my heart."

Her head turns down to her relfection staring back at her through the metal, and saw a vision of Ladybug's mask over her features wearing a determined look. She calm her racing heartbeat with a few deep breaths, and realised that she was a hero, even without a mask on.

She closed her eyes for a second to level herself out, and reponed them soon after with a furious glint in them, as she now felt only confidence to save her partner. She slams her fist into the metal with a grunt, getting up onto her knees with deep gasps, and stumbles her way to stand up with her dirty, and torn clothes.

Cat Noir's black mask was ripped off on one side because of Hawkmoth's butterfly blasts doing it, and so was the rest of his suit in different places, as he groans weakly each time it happens with his eyes closed.

Hawkmoth made another sphere of his power in his hand, as he clenches his fist shut tightly to bring it back behind him to aim it at Cat Noir. Just as he goes to release the dozen amount of purple creatures at him, and as it goes to travel up towards his figure, something or rather someone collides with Cat Noir's body.

(Y/N) appeared flying through mid air from the massive jump she did from the ground, and her body rammed into Cat Noir's chest to push him out of the way. Her eyes were scrunched shut tight just like his, as her chin was resting on his shoulder, and had both arms wrapped around his back.

Hawkmoth's power just blasted where the duo once was in the air, which sent them flying downwards from the force exploded out from it. And as they flew, Cat Noir's head fell to rest against the side hers subconsciously, and had placed a clawed hand around her upper back, returning the sudden warm embrace, as his tail snuck around her leg like usually.

She flipped them around so her back was facing the metal first, and try to stifled her scared yells by nuzzling her face into his soft locks, as she pushed his head into the crook of her neck, gently holding her hand behind his head now.

The two soon then soon slammed into the metal surface below them, as a small cry of pain left her lips when her back hit the ground first and held on tighter to Cat Noir, who also clinged onto her body even through his sleep.

Though because of the force of their fall, the two were separated from each other no matter how hard they were holding onto the other, and they were sent stumbling towards different parts of the metal still over the lava pool.

She was sent skidding across it towards the edge of the metal, another cry of pain escaping her when her head bumped into the ground, and came to a stop landed on her stomach, as her blurred gaze focused on Cat Noir below Hawkmoth's feet.

Hawkmoth stormed his way up towards his fallen figure laying defensively, as he was levitating above the ground a little bit, and lowered himself once he ended up in front of the teens body.

He grunts picking up Cat Noirs body by his collar, and held his limp body by one hand, as he shakes Cat Noir's body since his head was turned away. Once he did though, his entire stomach drop drastically seeing who was behind the mask all along, and strangled out a gasp of his son's name, "Adrien?"

His bottom lip quivered in the realisation of what he's actually done to his own child, and the city they both called home. He shakes his head to himself, dropping Cat Noir's body back onto the metal, and placed his hands up to his face.

The destruction around them went to now float up into the air, as it began to turn the water back to normal now. The rumble traveled all the way up towards the dark clouds, and those clouds also faded away to reveal another bright day over Paris' skies.

Hawkmoth grunts heavily as he fights against the power he did to himself, hands gripping the side of his head trying to break free from the mental chains around him.

His eerier and dark voice was muttering things to himself, as his knuckles were scrunched up in front of him now. He outstretched his arms when the power holding him was turned into yellow glowing butterflies, that appeared from out of him, and flew up around them into the air.

(Y/N) slowly stood up from her spot on the other piece of metal a bit far from them, as she gripped her sore arm to herself with laboured breathing, and stayed where she was to watch what was happening.

Once her gaze zoned in on the figures in front of her, a shocked gasp escaped her lips seeing Gabriel Agreste standing in the place of Hawkmoth, all wounded and bruised up, Wait.. if he's the villain then- Her thoughts screamed at herself, as her (E/C) eyes land on Cat Noir who's face was reveled, and she knew who that handsome face belonged to anywhere.

She feels her heart jump out of her chest, followed by an overwhelming amount of butterflies and her stomach twisting with emotion at the realisation she was experiencing, as she placed her free hand up to her mouth.

Adrien, the male she was hopelessly in love with was Cat Noir all along. Just the thought of that made her head spin, and heart pounded happily, but was also flushed at the fact she's already kissed him as Cat Noir without knowing.

Gabriel brings his arms slowly down from being outstretched, as he sallows hard to ignore the pain radiating all over him, and gasped once more seeing his son being Cat Noir, "Adrien!"

The blonde hero weakly opens his eyes up hearing the familiar voice, grunting lowly as he pushed himself up on the metal surface, and looked up to his father with a betrayed look, "Dad, y-you?" He croaks out through a teary voice, not believing his father was the villain of Paris that he fought all along, "All of this because of you?"

Gabriel's face scrunched up at Adrien's response as his tears were building up fast, and trailed his eyes over the teen's hurt figure, heart aching knowing he caused all that, "Look at you. What have I done?" He cries to himself helplessly while looking at his shaking hands, and then back down to Adrien, "My little boy."

Adrien creased his brows in confusion not understanding his fathers reasoning, and shakes his head as his eyes not behind the mask was squinted a little, as he quietly questioned honestly, "But why?"

"I tried everything to bring her back, son." Gab admits through a harsh sniffle, his glasses slipping down his nose a smidge as he glanced down at his hands away from Adrien, "From the moment your mother and I met, we felt we had known each other forever. Two halves finally made one. We were each other's everything. And then the greatest gift was given to us."

He looked up at Adrien's teary face with a fond expression, and wiped a few tears off his face as he continued on talking softly, "You came into the world. We were a family. It's all we needed. But fate... decided otherwise."

A painful sob escaped his lips remembering what happed to his wife all those years ago, as more water works break from his eyes onto his cheeks, "I should of been the one to go. You needed your mother more than you needed me. After she was gone, I was.... I was helpless. I couldn't face the sadness in your eyes, Adrien. When I heard about the Miraculous... I would have done anything to bring your mother back! To bring her back to you."

Adrien's face softened now understanding what his fathers true intensions were, yet it still didn't make up for everything that his father did as Hawkmoth, and how he treated, neglected him as his son. He stood up to face Gabriel with his own teary eyes also now.

"I lost myself." Gabriel shudder a cry through his words, as his voice breaks with real emotion realising instead of brining back his wife, he ended up hurting his child and Paris at that, "I understand now. The only power stronger than death....is love. I failed you, my son. I don't know if you'll ever forgive me."

He falls to the metal surface onto his knees in a fit of sobs, as his shoulders shake with a hand placed up to his face which makes Adrien take a tentative step forward towards him, wanting to reassure his father now.

Adrien placed his clawed hand gently on his father shoulder, which made Gabriel glance up at him through tears, "You have to let her go, Dad." A bittersweet smile crossed his lips, as he knew all too well how hard it was to acknowledge his mother was gone forever.

Gabriel shudders when he stood up to his full height, causing Adrien to step back to make room for him, as the two stood there staring at each other for a few seconds. That was until Adrien leapt forward to wrap his arms around Gabriel's middle back, and he automatically returned the tight embrace, wrapping his arms around Adrien also, as he cries into his blonde locks.

All the yellow butterflies lingering around the area began to fly up into the sky leaving a trail of sparkling glittering in their wake. The hug between them got tighter and stronger, as the ghostly figure of Emilie Agreste appeared around them, wrapping her arms around them both creating a magical scene of acceptance and love.

As the embrace between father and son continued on, the red earrings flew out from inside the brooch attached the Gabriel, and floated back over to their rightful owner still by the sidelines.

Tikki morphed in front of (Y/N) who had happy tears of her own watching the scene between Adrien, and his father, relieved that things worked out for them both, as a warm smile lingered across her lips spotting Adrien's one.

She wiped the emotions away with her fingers, and turned towards Tikk's grinning face. She raised her hands up to cup Tikki in her palms, and pressed a kiss against her big head, that made the creature giggle with a nuzzle back.

Once her hands opened back up for Tikki to float back out of them, (Y/N) chuckled softly at Tikki as she transformed back into the earrings, and flew towards the girls ears where they belonged.

A pinky glow appeared over her figure when the earrings attached to her skin, as the aura spreads out all over her body to transform back into her alter ago, Ladybug. All the wounds she had disappeared also, and her strength was now back thanks to the Miraculous' power.

Ladybug looked down at her suited hands with a content smile, really glad to be back in her hero outfit again that she now felt comfortable in like it was her second skin. After everything that's happened, she knew she was the right person for the job, and wasn't going to give it up anytime soon.

However even with the celebrational and happy times, Paris was still destroyed with many fires, broken buildings and chaos littering the streets everywhere, as the faint sound of sirens was heard. The civilian's now started to come out of their hiding spots, and was met with the ruins of their once lively city.

She narrowed her masked (E/C) eyes sadly on all the mess Hawkmoth created with his power, brows furrowing not knowing how to fix all this, but had a gut feeling she could do it somehow, she just needed a little guidance for it.

"A spark is all you need to ignite hope." The familiar voice of Master Fu speaks from behind her, which gasped the hero to gasp hearing it as he continued on dressed in his disguise, "Now that love has conquered the fear in your heart, let it shine through for you are Ladybug, Miraculous of Creation."

She swiftly turns around to face the male who felt familiar to her in a way, as she nibbled on her bottom lip nervously, "I don't know what to do though." She admitted in a hesitate way, as she fiddled with her yo-yo's string around her waist.

"Remember, who saved a life saves the world." He repeated the words she first heard from a specific older male, that caused her shoulders to freeze up in realisation, "Your instincts once saved my life." He nudged up his cap on his head, and revealed his smiling face to her.

She gasped with a splutter knowing the gut feeling was right in the first place, and returned his greeting smile with an even bigger one, "It was you." She breathed out in awe, as he nodded his head with a proud look and held out his hand for her to place something in it.

Understanding what he signaled by that, she grabbed the moth Miraculous pin in between her hands and leapt over to where he was, as she walked the rest of the way. She dropped the pin in his palm gently, and gave him a nod that he sent back with a warm smile.

Ladybug picked up her yo-yo from around waist, swinging it around behind her in a fast circle as she aims it up towards a building that was in the middle of everyone, and lets herself be tugged towards it through the fresh breeze.

one more chapter left of this fic guys omg this is so sad ☹️ i really don't want this to end but then again it just means i can work on my show fic of mlb so YIPEEE
