[ RECAP ]

"I enjoyed taking you out Y/N-chan. Do you want to do this again sometime?" he smiles.

"Sure Suga-senpai. I enjoyed talking to you too. Plus, the coffee and the pastry were an extra bonus," I joke.

"You were all I needed from our time together right now," he then moves a piece of my hair behind my ear. "Hopefully, you'll like like me soon. I'll see you tomorrow Y/N-chan."

"Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow Suga-senpai," I wave bye to him and see him leave the opposite direction. Please don't get too attached Suga. I just see you as a friend.

As I walk down the street, I wrap my hands around myself. It was freezing and I curse myself for forgetting to bring a sweater. I finally arrive at the guitar shop and speed walk inside to find some warmth. There weren't a lot of people inside the shop and sounds of guitar playing filled the place. I have never been here before and I looked like a child in a candy store while I was walking around.

I then see a room filled with electric guitars and walk inside since no one was in there. I take one down from the wall and plug it in an amplifier. I tune the guitar while thinking which song I should play. I normally played an acoustic guitar since it was the only one I could afford.

Once I finish my tuning, I take a hair tie out of my bag and tie my hair up in order to avoid any hair falling in my face while playing. I take a deep breath in and out the strap around my shoulder. I then begin getting ready to play 'A good song never dies' by Saint Motel. (I recommend playing the video on the top to know what it sounds like)

[ 3rd POV ]

Semi's eyes land on the girl holding the guitar that he's been saving his money up for. He walks towards her and hears her starting the instrumental part to one of his favorite songs He runs over to an extra guitar that was already plugged and joins her. She looks taken back at the sudden stranger playing with her but then she smiles.

He smiles back at her and they soon begin to sing the song.

(Your singing)
(Semi's singing)
(Both of you singing)
A/N: You can start the song here to sing along if you want.

Stop
Now let's begin, You're in too deep to go back again
Cash
It's pay-to-play, You want moreβ€…hitsβ€…than Lemonade
No
Youβ€…don't own me
You don't evenβ€…know me, Who?
This vagabond, With a two-part path to the great beyond
How?
Stay genuine, A ground floor opp', I can help you find
Oh
You're a dreamer, Call me when you're Bieber

And when they play it, you can't help but sing along
That's nothin' odd, that's nothin' wrong

'Cause a good song never dies
It just reminds you of where you were
The first time it made you cry
The first time you felt alive
No, a good song never
No, a good song never
The first time it made you cry
The first time you felt alive
No, a good song never, Dies

Hope
The wonder drug, Don't work no more, think I took too much
Sweat
Your equity, Make the caffeine be your weaponry
What is the reason? There never was one needed
Fear
It's all around, But it weighs too much to slow you down
Now
Is the time to act, 'Cause the best defense is a timeless track
No
You don't own me,
You don't even know me

But when they play it, you can't help but sing along
That's nothin' odd, that's nothin' wrong

'Cause a good song never dies
It just reminds you of where you were
The first time it made you cry
The first time you felt alive
No, a good song never
No, a good song never
The first time it made you cry
The first time you felt alive
No, a good song never

There was a moment, a hole opened in the sky
A chance to join their pantheon
For all the times they never heard your battle cry
Now even angels sing along

'Cause a good song never dies
It just reminds you of where you were
The first time it made you cry
The first time you felt alive
No, a good song never dies
Like a lover who won't back down
They'll pull you over to the side, looks you straight into the eyes
No, a good song never
No, a good song never
The first time it made you cry
The first time you felt alive
No, a good song never

They both finish singing and playing the guitar and stare at each other's eyes. His brown piercing ones not leaving her soft (e/c) ones. Y/N and Semi swore that they felt a spark between them when they were playing. It was such a strong connection.

"You're pretty good," he speaks up.

"You're not bad yourself," Y/N giggles.

He felt butterflies once he realized how beautiful the girl standing a few feet away from him was. She was a sight for sore eyes. What he admired most about her was how much fun and how easily she was playing guitar. Y/N began to feel a blush come to her cheeks as Semi kept looking and admiring her. She takes the strap around her shoulder off and places the guitar back to its spot after unplugging it.

"Um, I should get going now. I came to buy something quick but I couldn't resist grabbing the guitar to play," she laughs as she nervously rubs the back of her neck. "Bye now."

Semi wanted to say something but words didn't come out of his mouth and he was frozen in place. He saw her walk away to the counter and pay for a guitar string, soon walking out the door of the shop. He then snapped out of his trance and began running to catch up to the girl. He needed to know who this amazing girl was or at least talk to her more.

"Hey wait up!" he calls for her.

[ Y/N'S POV ]

I turn to see the ash-blond-haired boy running towards me. I couldn't help but feel butterflies in my stomach. He was definitely a good-looking guy and I couldn't help but wonder why he was calling for me. "I couldn't help but notice that you were alone."

"Um yeah, why?"

"Let me walk you. It's too dark for a pretty girl like you to walk alone," he tells me. I instantly blush at the fact that he called me pretty and turn my head away to hide it from his view. "I mean! You know since there are people who do that!"

"I could walk alone, my house isn't that far," I mutter. Inside, I was happy that he wanted to walk me home and was internally screaming that a cute boy like him offered, but I didn't want to cause him any trouble.

"If it's not that far then it won't take long, so I'm walking you home. I won't take no for an answer," he gives me a warm smile. "Plus, I get to talk to you for a little longer."
