Monami (squealing in happiness) - Yeah, Karan! We did it!

Both Monami & Karan forgot the world and their surroundings and took each other in their embrace. In an attempt to hug tightly that even air couldn't pass through between them, Monami's black cloth loosened and fell from her face. What Sanju & Faizi saw, shock would be an understatement for that. The person whom they thought they lost was right in front of their eyes. Flood of emotions was flowing in their heart, but they were definitely extremely upset and disappointed along with feeling happily blessed.

Faizi & Sanju (in extreme shock) - MONAMI?!

Hearing Faizi & Sanju's shocking scream, even Param remembered that he has heard this name before. Putting some pressure on his brain, he remembered that it's the same name he saw on Karan's phone a while ago.

Param (confusedly) - Monami?!

Karan and Monami parted from the hug and that's when Monami realised that her secret is out. Her heart started thumping very hard due to those anger-filled glares of Faizi & Sanju. Their eyes had tears, both of happiness and disappointment. Sanju took a step towards Monami and was about to touch her when she hid herself behind Karan. Monami's lowered head and act of looking here and there could easily depict how nervous and scared she is of their reaction.

Monami (stammering) - I..I can ex..plain!

By her tight hold on his t-shirt and bicep, Monami's nervousness and fear was understood by Karan. He himself is extremely angry from her for hiding such a humungous truth from him and for making him sob and yearn for days. Even Faizi & Sanju's emotions were also conveyed by their eyes and by the tears that were streaming down continuously from their eyes. Karan himself wants to punish his Rani Sahiba, though in a lovely way but cannot see her being scared of her own people who only wish the best for her and love her to no bounds.

Karan - Sanju, Faizi..academy chalkar baat karte hain!

Karan was about to embrace Monami again when Faizi held his wrist. Hold of Faizi's grip over Karan's wrist was surprisingly very strong and it actually made Karan concerned for both him and Monami. As Karan looked up in Faizi's eyes, all he could see was mixed feelings of feeling blessed to have her back but also an urge to scold her so much that she never ever dared to attempt such acts again.

Faizi (with bloodshot red eyes) - Kyu Monami, kyu?!

As Faizi yelled straight at Monami's face, even she started sobbing as she has never seen this side of Faizi. The pressure of the person whom she considered like her brother yelling at her was very heavy for her and she couldn't hold back her tears anymore. Monami's chin wobbled, and the back of Karan's t-shirt started getting damp. Her tears were not only affecting his t-shirt but also his heart.

Karan (sternly and gritting his teeth) - Special Agent Faizuddin Siddiqui, you have no rights to talk to her like this! Kaha na academy chalkar baat karte hain!

Saying so, Karan held Monami's hand and was about to leave the scene when Param interrupted.

Param - Lo, Balli bhi aa gaya Aneesh ko lekar!

As Param exclaimed so, Karan and Monami stopped in their tracks. Karan abruptly turned and looked towards Aneesh who wasn't fully unconscious but lost the ability to action. The rage and anger again filled Karan as he remembered Aneesh's deeds. He left Monami's hand and ensured that Param, Faizi & Sanju are on an opposite corner as of Monami.

Karan went to Aneesh and held him by his nape and brought him to his eye level. Drooping eyes, bleeding nose, wobbling chin and blood-stained teeth, Aneesh's look was providing Karan with some internal satisfaction. The moment Aneesh's and Karan's eyes met, and Karan saw that extreme fear of death in Aneesh's eyes, Ulti Khopdi special smirk appeared on Karan's face and now no one could save Aneesh from Karan.

Though Aneesh was in no condition to argue or plead but still, accommodating all the left-over power in himself, Aneesh dared to open his mouth in front of Karan.

Aneesh - Ka..Karan, plee..ase muj..he chho..d do! (Joining his hands) I be..beg you!

Would these pleadings melt down Karan? Nah! After what all Aneesh did, expecting an apology from Karan would be the most stupid expectation of Aneesh's life. First flirting with Monami, then getting close to her, then sparking a fire of fight in between them, then joining hands with PRF, being a threat to his beloved nation and then...helping in murdering his Rani Sahiba, Aneesh's cruel to cruel deeds came into Karan's mind and that dangerous smirk converted into a more dangerous teeth gritting action.

Karan - You dared to take away the person whom I love the most! Main tujhe chhod du ye ho nahi sakta aur tujhe mujhse koi bacha le..ye main hone nahi dunga!

Karan faced difficulty in uttering these words as the urge to kill Aneesh with his bare hands was increasing within him. Aneesh's death was standing in front of him now. Karan's fingers curled into a tight fist and his popping veins could be easily seen. Three powerful and dreadful punches landed into Aneesh's stomach that made a lot of blood spit out from his mouth and due to which he started coughing badly. Karan now focused on his face which Aneesh used to consider as handsome.

Karan (punching straight in his face) - Meri Monami ko maarega? Uske kareeb ayega? Use apna banane ka sochega?! JAB TAK KARAN SHERGILL ZINDA HAI...MAUT BHI MONAMI KO NAHI CHHU SAKTI!

Karan's roar was so loud and filled with several emotions of anger, wrath, love, possessiveness and protectiveness that it echoed in the whole surroundings. Listening to him, Monami's eyes literally watered while Faizi & Sanju too felt emotional looking at Karan's wrathful yet lover version coming back slowly. Amidst all the action and emotions, one person was there who stood completely confused.

Coming back to Karan's revengeful action, Aneesh was in situation to fight back or even defend Karan's attack, so it was only Karan who was punching and kicking Aneesh mercilessly for his evil deeds. While all were feeling different emotions looking at Karan, Balli's heart was pounding hard with fear as at some point of time he also used to crush on Monami and even tried to touch her during the Holi incident. Though he has already apologized for it but who knows what goes on in Karan's mind.

As Karan confirmed that Aneesh is almost dead, he threw him on ground like trash and started breathing heavily looking at that disgusting figure. Monami who knew that Karan has gotten emotionally weak in the past few days and might not have done his combat exercises due to which his physical strength has also decreased by a bit, was being concerned for him. She rushed to Karan who was breathing heavily. Though his nostrils were flared, and mouth was open to get the maximum oxygen inside and even his face and hair were filled with dirt and sweat, the satisfaction of killing Aneesh with his own hands was very much evident on his face and even made his face shine.

Monami - Karan, are you ok?

Karan - Better than ever! Ab tum jo ho mere saath, I'll be best of myself in every moment!

Saying so, Karan held Monami's hand and kissed the back of her palm shocking Faizi, Sanju, Balli and Param. He deliberately did so as Aneesh is still a bit alive, and he wanted to show each and every person that no one should dare to lay their eyes on his girl!

Aneesh is a complete dead body but just his heart is beating, and Karan has thought of some other way of killing that bastard fully. He turned back towards Faizi who got what Karan wants to say and nodded at him. Faizi pulled out a Grenade from his pocket and removed its pin and thew it inside the hideout. The heroes of Parakram stood together seeing the center of the danger burning in front of their eyes. Even Dhawan & Charu's body which was much near the hideout, started catching the fire. Aneesh who was almost dead could see his death coming as the fire started approaching him too. Team of PSAF turned and was about to go out of sight of Aneesh when his evilness again took the lead. With great difficulty and with shivering hands, he picked up the gun which was lying near him and wasn't noticed by anyone.

Aneesh (in mind) - Tu..mhe zin..da nahi chhod..unga!

Aneesh somehow aimed at Karan and pressed the trigger. The bullet that escaped the revolver hit directly into Karan's chest from the back with much force making his eyes pop out in sudden pain. As Aneesh injured Karan, even he too took his last breath and was gone forever.

Karan - Aaahhhh!

Screaming in pain of having the bullet pierce his back, Karan's hold on Monami's hand loosened and he fell on his knees and then laid completely on the ground losing his consciousness. Param, Balli, Sanju, Faizi and Monami, all were completely shocked due to what happened all of a sudden and the moment the commandoes realized who did so, they pulled out their guns from their pocket and unloaded all the bullets they had in Aneesh's corpse, being revengeful.

Monami bent down to Karan's level and started shaking him to make him gain his consciousness back. Her heart pained the moment the bullet pierced into Karan's body. Her tears unknowingly started falling from her eyes and in no time, loud wails escaped her mouth.

Monami (crying hysterically) - Karan! Karan utho! Uthooooo!!!

Even Param, Faizi & Sanju were too shocked to react, but Monami's words broke their trance. Param and Sanju bent to the ground and started rubbing Karan's cheek and palms respectively, while Faizi controlled his emotions seeing his best friend being injured badly and hurriedly dialed to the ambulance.

Param (trying to control his tears) - Chh..chhote, beta..uth! Uth bache!

Param was continuously rubbing Karan's cheeks to keep him conscious but the amount of blood loss that happened were making him drowsy and in no time, Karan's eyelids fell indicating that he has completely lost his consciousness.

Monami (panicking) - Fai..Faizi, Karan ki pulse drop ho..ho rahi hai! He has lost his con..consciousness!

Faizi tightly closed his eyes for a moment to not to fall weak due to situation. He knows that Monami & Param are extremely close and attached to Karan so expecting them to stay strong during such situation won't be right, so he chose to be the pillar of strength for all of them. Otherwise, the pain he is feeling in his heart seeing his Janabji being shot is only known to him. In no time, the ambulance arrived and when Param & Faizi were laying Karan on the stretcher what he noticed was Karan holding Monami's hand so tightly as if his life only depends on her. As Faizi looked at Param, he got his confused expressions and thought to make the things faster.

Faizi - Bhaiya, aap humare saath gadi mein chaliye. (Without looking at her) Monami, tum ambulance mein jao.

Faizi announced so understanding and knowing MoRan's love for each other and before Param could argue to go with Karan in the ambulance, Faizi & Sanju forcefully dragged him towards the jeep and didn't gave him chance to utter something. Param too quickly sat in the jeep as he was also way concerned for his little brother and in a hurry to reach the hospital. Karan, who was on the stretcher was already inside the ambulance while Monami too climbed quickly but not before blinking her eyes once towards Faizi with tears in them. That little action could convey her gratitude and thankfulness towards Faizi for letting her go with Karan and also a little apology for what all she did in the past few days.

In the ambulance, oxygen mask was attached to Karan's mouth as his oxygen level was also decreasing and his heartrate was also measured continuously. Seeing her Khadoos Shergill in such condition, made Monami's heart wrench with guilt.

Monami (crying hysterically) - S..sab me..ri waj..ah se hua hai! Sa..b meri gal..galti hai!

Holding his hand between both her palms, Monami cried even more as in such situations, the bloody human brain starts thinking only about all the negative possibilities than can happen and right now the same was happening with Monami. The person without whom she can't even imagine living even a single moment of life is lying lifeless in front of her. She was wishing if she could turn the time and never let this instance happen, but world doesn't work like that.

Praying for his well-being, Monami didn't realize when the ambulance stopped in front of the nearby City Hospital. As the ward boy opened the doors of the ambulance, due to the commotion Monami lifted her head from Karan's hand and saw Faizi, Sanju & Param already standing. Within minutes, Karan's stretcher was being pushed towards the OT. The ward boy was pulling the stretcher while Faizi & Sanju were pushing it with full speed. On Karan's right, it was Param & on his left, where the heart resides, was his heartbeat, his Monami. They reached to the OT, and everyone was asked to stay out. Though they wanted to go in but couldn't unfollow the norms so, unwillingly they had to stay out. The doctor who was attending Karan tried to take the stretcher inside but couldn't as the hold of Karan on Monami's hand was really tight.

Faizi shared a look with the doctor and nodded. He went ahead and forcefully got Monami's hand out of Karan's hold. The moment the doctor took Karan inside the OT, Monami collapsed on the ground while crying hysterically and shivering badly due to the pain she's experiencing due to seeing her love being injured.

Monami (crying badly) - Ahannn...Ka...ran....

Param's condition wasn't less than Monami's. He sat down on the nearby chair with a thud and with an expressionless face. Faizi went to Param and took a seat beside him. He started caressing Param's arm as Param was going through the most dangerous emotional situation right now. Stream of tears was not stopping from his eyes, but no single word escaped his throat. Faizi has already seen Karan going through the same when he lost Param to that mission & now he was very scared for Param.

Faizi - Bh..bhaiya?

Param (staring at nothing) - Faizi, mera bhai? M..mere vaha hote hue bhi mere bhai ko goli lag gayi? How could it happen? (started crying) Main ek achha bhai nahi ban paya! Chhote ne apni ek-ek zi..mmedari nibhayi, aur mai..ne? I FAILED AS A BROTHER! I FAILED!

Faizi couldn't think of any words to console Param as his state of mind is no less. Karan was not just a colleague to Faizi, he was his best friend rather his brother. In every stage of his life, Karan stood like a pillar of strength for him but today, that pillar himself is lying lifeless inside the operation theatre. Faizi couldn't do anything and as he looked up, he found the light of the OT on which meant that still the operation is going on.

Faizi (in mind) - Ya allah! Humare dost ko theek kardein!

On the other side, Monami who was sitting on the ground and was crying hysterically was now hiccupping and her felt alone as the only support she had with herself was Karan. Faizi & Sanju are already grudgeful from her due to what she hid from them, so Monami was feeling as if someone has taken a piece of her heart out of her body. As Karan always mentions, she is the Dhadkan of his dil, the same way Karan is the dil to this dhadkan. Both are incomplete and meaningless without each other!

Sanju felt extremely pity on this poor soul who cannot explain any pain of hers to anyone. She knows what Monami must be going through. Sanju's sirji is the person who has never left her alone even in the worst situations, he has taught her to be strong and independent & taught her how to prove her capabilities to the world. Her sirji has done a lot for her and she can't afford losing him. Sanju was already in tears looking at Karan's condition and now Monami breaking down like this made her weaker. But she knows her sirji never taught her to fall weak in such situations instead he taught her to be a help for someone. Monami is more than a cadet for her, she's a roommate but also like a younger sister.

Sanju, without saying a word, went to Monami and held her by her shoulders. She somehow made Monami sit on one of the chairs and sat beside her herself. Sanju held Monami's hand between hers and made Monami look in her eyes. When Monami's red, tearful eyes filled with only pain and fear met Sanju's emotionally pity ones, Monami couldn't hold back her emotions and hugged Sanju. Though Sanju decided to not to forgive Monami so easily for hiding the truth, but she knows, Monami needs someone right now. Hesitantly and slowly, Sanju hugged Monami and caressed her back and that's the moment when Monami's tears again started falling and cries grew louder.

Sanju - Na Monami na, tu aise kamzor na pad sakti. Humaye sirji ko zaroorat hai teri! Ro mat!

Sanju consoled her with great difficulty as she knows that handling themselves in a situation where your love got shot right in front of your eyes and you were extremely helpless becomes guilt-filled for the latter.

Monami's continuous cries were making the environment extremely tensed and that's when the real terror arrived. Param's phone ringed the 15th time. It was Batra sir who was trying to call him again and again from the moment he got to know that they've lost touch with the PSAF team. Faizi peeped into Param's phone and decided to help him with it.

Faizi - Utha lijiye, bhaiya.

Param - Magar...Faizi?

Faizi - Utha lijiye! Bata dijiye aap ki yaha kya hua hai. (In a taunting manner) Jab aisi ya isse badi khabrein achanak pata chalti hain na to dil ko badi thhes pahunchti hai!

Both Monami & Sanju got the meaning behind Faizi's taunts and being apologetic, Monami lowered her eyes, feeling extremely sad. Param picked up Batra sir's call & faking his strength to cope up with the situation, he told everything what had happened, including Karan being shot. Since the time Monami faked her demise, the people of the academy, especially the elders & Sid have been extremely protective and caring towards Karan. They've seen him suffering a lot & now they won't let anything happen to him, that's what they decided. As Batra sir got the news of Karan being shot and brutally injured, without answering, he just cut the call & rush to inform everybody.

Param (murmuring) - Sab aa rahe hain.

Monami stood up and went near the OT and placed her hand on the glass door, as if trying to reach to Karan. Though there's a lot of distance between them due to the drawn curtains but the string of heart stretches & gets stronger with the increasing distance. With pleading eyes, she was trying to peep in, in an attempt to have just one glance of her Karan. As a doctor she knows how critical Karan's condition would be as he got shot very near to his heart and survival rates in such cases is extremely less and that is what she's fearing the most.

Tu..tumhari Rani Sahiba ka hi hukum hai...tum nahi jaa sakte! You cannot leave me! Chaho to saath lekar jao, magar chhodkar mat jaana. Main mar jaungi, Karan!

Param who was continuously praying for his brother, striked that what would he answer Barkha. He very well knows that she also must be coming to the hospital and would definitely question him about how it happened and how will he answer her? How will he say that he was unable to save his baby brother? How will he say he can't do anything from his side? He'll definitely drown in the tsunami of her questions and especially in the guilt.

Faizi (in mind) - Janabji, aapse zyada himmatwala magar kamzor insaan nahi dekha zindagi mein humne! Tumhe hanste dekha hai, rote dekha hai..lekin aise OT mein shaant pade hue na to dekha hai aur na hi dekhna achha lag raha hai! Jaldi se operation successful karvake humare paas aa jaiye janabji, aapse aur aapki Rani Sahiba se bahot hisaab chukta karna hai abhi hume! Chalo bhai, humare liye na sahi..apne apno ke liye hi jaldi theek ho jao!

Monami, who was by now leaning on to the OT's glass door with an expressionless pale face with eyes continuously dripping & expressing her agony, looked down at her mother's broach and then at the ring using which Karan proposed her & which belongs to his mom. She knew that both of their mothers are in heaven with her Godji and as mothers are the supreme deity after God, she thought to pray both. Without saying anything to anyone, she stood up and went towards the temple which was built in the hospital itself.

Removing her shoes, Monami literally fell in front of the God and couldn't hold back her tears anymore. She shiveringly joins her hands and bowed her head in the feet of the almighty.

Please bhagwanji, muj..he niraash mat kijiyega..pleaseee pleaseeeee meri request maan lijiye! Ch..cha..chahein to aap meri life kam kardijiye, le..kin bus mere Ka..rann ko theek kardijiye!

Begging for her love's life, Monami constantly prayed in front of God while shedding non-stop tears. The pain she was experiencing in her heart was so much that she wasn't even express even 1% of it. As she promised to Karan that she'd even fight that supreme almighty too for being with him, she did!

She prayed, beg, bribed and what not? For saving her Karan & for his betterment, Monami's action know no bounds, all she cares for is her Khadoos Shergill. The person on whom even a small scratch would scare her so much and now seeing him in the operation theatre, getting treated by a team of doctors, all trying to save him and get that bullet out from near his heart is extremely heartbreaking for Monami. And as Param told that all the people from the academy are rushing towards the hospital, Monami's fear grew as she has to face them and the truth of her being alive now and also how will she face everyone when they'll get to know that Aneesh shot Karan just because of her?!
