LILLIAN groaned as Ned kept asking her to hang-out after school.

"Ned! I already said my answer! I'm sorry but it's a no" Lillian said to her new friend. It's been two weeks since she transfered to MidTown High (Did I wrote the name right?) and with that short amount of time, she had been close with Ned and Michelle but not with Peter. She did not like whenever she was left alone and forced to talk with Peter and he noticed it too, but didn't do anything about it. He just left her be. He didn't want her to hate him even more than she already is.

And with those two weeks, Lillian became the new popular girl in the school, which was not a surprise since she always helped with the school activities and all.

"Come on, Lils! It'll be fun! Mj has already got something to do. Please!!" Ned said, still trying to convice her.

"Pretty please~" Ned said and looked at Lillian with fake sad eyes. He knew that those fake sads eyes always work to Lillian who sighed.

"Fine!" She said and Ned gave her a biggest grin that he could ever do.

"Cool! I'll text you later the adress! See you!" Ned said and walked away.

"Couldn't say no again huh" Mj said as she walked beside Lillian.

"You know me. Ned knows how to make me say yes." Lillian said.

"Got a weak spot for Ned. You like him?" Mj asked Lillian who shook her head.

"No! I don't like Ned in a romantic way. I like him more as a best friend and a brother." Lillian said and looked at her best friend's expression and then smirked.

"Why? Are you...jealous?" Lillian asked and Mj's eyes widened and looked away.

"Pfft, what? Me? Jealous? As if!" Mj said and Lillian grinned.

"You like him!" Lillian said and Mj looked at her while blushing.

"No, I don't!" Mj said.

"You totally do! Look at your face! You're as red as a tomato!" Lillian said and put her hands to Mj's shoulders.

"You can tell me the truth you know. I'm your best friend and I promise to keep it a secret" Lillian softly said. Mj finally sighed.

"Fine...I guess...I kinda find him...cute..." Mj said said and Lillian smiled.

"I'm so happy for you!" Lillian said.

"What about you and Parker?" Mj asked.

"What are you talking about?" Lillian asked as she moved her hands away from Mj's shoulders.

"Don't you guys...y'know...have a thing going on?" Mj asked.

"Me? Him? That will never happen, my dear friend!" Lillian said.

"Me and Peter are so different and besides, he's not my type" She continued.

"Sure..whatever you say" Mj said and Lillian laughed.

"Let's just go to our class" Lillian said and the two of them walked to their classroom.

"She accepted my request!" Ned said to Peter who was putting some books to his locker.

"Really?" Peter asked in shock and Ned nodded.

"Yeah, she did! It took me three minutes to convince her" Ned said.

"Let me guess, you gave her your sad eyes right?" Peter asked and Ned nodded again.

"Yup! I know she can't say no to those eyes!" Ned said.

"She does know that your 'awesome mega hang-out' is at my house right?" Peter asked and Ned looked away pretending to spotted someting interesting. And with that look, Peter knew that he did not tell Lillian the whole thing.

"You didn't tell her?!" Peter slightly yelled to Ned.

"She will never say yes if I say 'Hey Lils! You wanna hang out? It'll be super mega fun! It's at Peter's home!'" Ned said.

"You need to tell her that!" Peter said.

"No, I can't! Or else she'll back out! I put a hard work for those sad eyes! Don't let it go in vain!" Ned said and Peter sighed.

"Fine, but if she leaves. It will be your fault." Peter said.

"No she won't. Once she meet May, she'll never ever want to leave your house" Ned said.

"I find that hard to believe" Peter said and closed his locker. The two of them walked to their classroom.

"Dude, why don't you get along like her and I?" Ned asked.

"I don't know! She just hates me! Well not really hate because she talks with me, not really like how she talks with you, but you know what I mean!" Peter said, trying to explain things to Ned.

"No, dude. I don't get it" Ned said.

"You know what, me neither" Peter said.

«Time Skip»

"Lils! Here!" Ned yelled at Lillian who looked at him and smiled. She went beside him.

"So, where are we going?" Lillian asked.

"You'll see! It's a surprise!" Ned said and Peter just stayed silent.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Lillian said and the three of them started to walk.

Soon after the three of them arrived in front of an appartment. Lillian looked at Ned.

"When you said hang-out, I thought we'll be spending time outside...not inside.." Lillian said.

"Don't worry! It'll be fun!" Ned said and Peter opened the door.

"Aunt May! I'm home!" Peter yelled making Lillian's eyes widened.

"I'm here too!" Ned yelled as he entered in. Lillian stood there frozen like a statue. Ned noticed it.

"Lils? Are you alright?" Ned asked Lillian who looked at him and faked smile.

"Yeah, Ned. Sorry. I just thought of something" She lied to him and he believed her.

"Well, come on in. You have to meet May! She's the most nicest Aunt in the whole world!" Ned said and she did.

"You're early today, Peter. No meeting?" Aunt May said and then she saw Lillian.

"You finally brought a girl!" May said while squealing, making Peter blushed.

"Aunt May!" Peter said and started to blush.

"May, this is our new friend!" Ned said.

"Hello, I'm Lillian Hammer. It's so nice to me-" Lillian said but was stopped as May hugged her. Lillian didn't know what to do. She felt a feeling that she had never felt for a while. Comfort.

May broke the hug and looked at the young girl who is still in shock.

"Oops, sorry. I'm just a hugger. I'm May Parker, but you can call me Aunt May" May said to Lillian who nodded.

"So, what do you guys three have plan?" May asked.

"We're going to watch all Star Wars movies!" Ned said and then looked at Lillian.

"You do like...the Star Wars...right?" Ned slowly asked. He forgot to ask her if she has ever seen one movie of it. He was so excited about the hang-out that he completely forgot. Lillian smiled at him and nodded.

"Yeah. I had two friends that always watch them and they always force me to watch it with them" She said and Ned smiled.

"Well if you three kids need anything, just call me ok? I need to go to work" May said and Peter looked at her with a confuse look.

"I thought you're on your day off?" He asked.

"I was until my boss called me. But it's fine. See you later" May said and kissed Peter's forehead. Lillian saw that cute little scene and couldn't helped but to look at them with sad eyes.

"Bye May" Ned said.

"Bye Ned. And nice meeting you again Lillian" She said and left.

"So, where should we start?" Ned asked his two best friends.

"I don't know...what do you think, Lillian?" Peter asked her, trying to have a conversation with her.

"...Why don't we watch from the very first movie?" Lillian suggested and the two boys nodded.

Several hours had passed since the trio started a marathon of Star Wars. During the marathon Ned fall asleep, leaving Peter and Lillian awake.

"If I know that he'll be like this, I should've wake him" Peter said, making Lillian giggle. Peter's eyes widened. Why? Well it's because it was the very first time that he ever heard her giggle. And she didn't ignore him or glared at him.

"Let him be. I'm sure he's tired" Lillian said. Peter stood up and started to clean the mess they had made. Lillian stood up too.

"Let me help you" She said.

"No no, it's fine. You're a guest..." Peter said.

"It's fine. And besides, Ned's sleeping and I don't have anything to do." Lillian said and started helping Peter. Once they were done cleaning. The two of them put Ned into the sofa.

"Wanna come with me..?" Peter asked and Lillian looked at him with a confuse look.

"Where?" She asked.

"To the rooftop. It's night and whenever it's night, the rooftop has a beautiful scene. It's ok if you don't wa-"

"No, I'd like to see it" Lillian said and then then two of them exited Peter's apartment and went to the rooftop. Once the got in there, Lillian looked at the scene in awe. She never thought that a normal night in Queens can be like this.

"You were right...it's beautiful.." Lillian said and kept looking at the view. Peter looked at her and then at the view.

"Umm...Lillian.." Peter said and looked at her.

"Yes?" Lillian asked and then looked back at him.

"Why do you hate me?" Peter asked.

'Did I do right to ask her that question?' Peter thought.

Lillian looked at him for a second and then looked at the city again.

"I..I don't really hate you.." She said.

"Then why do you always glare at me? Whenever I try to talk with you...you'd always seems to distant yourself from me...did I do something wrong? Did I anger you at your first day? Did I said something bad to you? Did I-"

"No, Peter. You did nothing..." Lillian said.

"Are you sure? Because you know, you've kinda ignored me ever since you came, and I don't want you to be mad at me, I just want us to be friends and I-"

"Peter! You did nothing! Please, calm down" She said and Peter took a deep breath.

"It's just...you kinda remind me of someone that I know....and I don't ..." Lillian said but stopped. Peter notice how sad her eyes are.

"Did something happen between the two of you?" He asked.

"You could say that....I'm sorry if you think that I hate you..." Lillian said to Peter with a sad smile.

"So...can we be...friends? It's ok if you don't want too, I mean I kinda understand and-" Pete said but stopped when he heard Lillian laughed. It might be a loud sound to everyone, but to Peter...it sounded like a melody. (Cheesy right? Hehe sorry)

"You're funny you know that?" Lillian asked and Peter blushed.

"Come on, it's getting late. We should go" Lillian said and he nodded.

The two of them went back to Peter's appartment and the lay down beside Ned who was still sleeping.

"Good night, Lily...." Peter said, making Lillian's eyes widened when he said that nickname.

"G-Good night...Pete" Lillian slowly said his nickname which made Peter smile before falling asleep, making Lillian the only person left awake. She still can't take off of her mind when Peter called her "Lily". No one ever called her with that nickname....except for one person.

'Guess, some things can never be change..no matter where you are...' Lillian thought before falling asleep too.

«The Next Morning»

"Should we wake up them?" Ned asked May who was smiling like crazy. She had her phone out and it seemed she was taking some pictures. What pictures? Peter and Lillian.

Ned woke up surprisingly early and he found Peter and Lillian close together. Peter's hands were hugging Lillian's waist while Lillian's head was resting on his chest, basically cuddling. Soon, May came out from her room. And when she saw the scene, she quickly took her phone and started to take pictures.

"Hush, Ned. Let them sleep. Surely the two of them slept late" May said.

"Then what should I do?" Ned asked.

"Want to have some breakfast?" May suggested and Ned nodded. The two of them went to the kitchen.

Then an hour later, Peter finally woke up and felt his pillow moving.

'Wait...pillows don't move...' Peter thought and opened his eyes. What he saw was something he thought it can never happen to his life. And that is a girl hugging him while sleeping and he was hugging back too! He started to blush and didn't know what to do .

'How can this happen?! We didn't slept like this! Oh my god! I have a girl in my arms! Calm down Peter! Calm....down!' Peter thought.

Then Lillian started to move, making Peter froze and then seconds later she opened her eyes. She looked up and saw Peter already looking at her while blushing.

"I-uh..." Peter said. Lillian blushed and removed her hands from him and moved away from him, which made Peter a little bit sad. He was already missing the warmth that he was feeling before.

"I-I'm sorry! It's just I have this really bad habit where I h-hug something or someone who is close to me whenever I sleep!" Lillian said while blushing too.

"I-It's fine.." Peter said then May came in.

"Oh! I was about to wake you two up! You two should go to the kitchen. The breakfast is ready and Ned's already there too" May said and then left again.

"W-We should go" Lillian said and Peter nodded and stood up too. The two of them went in to the kitchen and found Ned already eating his food while May was drinking her coffee while reading a newspaper. Then Ned stopped eating and looked up to see the two teens. Ned smirked.

"Nice to know the couple is now awake" Ned said, making the two teens blush even more than before.

"NED!!"
