Upon returning home, we unlocked our front door and walked inside to seeing half of the place vandalized. 
 
"Who did this?" Loto asked.
 
"Shit! I could have sworn we had every door locked in the entire house." 
 
"We did, Ro." 
 
"I hope it's not who I think it is because if it is, he's dead."
 
"Who are you talking about, Daddy?" 
 
"I'm scared." Ashley cried.
 
She fell to her knees and began to sob after seeing the effort that she put into our home become vandalized the moment we returned. 
 
"Daddy, why is mommy crying?"
 
"Should we tell him, Ash?"
 
"I feel like it's the right time to talk to our son about him. He has to know sooner or later."
 
I picked up Ashley gently and we all sat down on the couch together. I began to let out a sigh and looked over at my son. 
 
"Loto."
 
"Yes, Daddy?"
 
"The person that makes mommy panic and cry was abusive towards her in the past and has said and done horrible things to her. Before she was pregnant with you, he put us through so much to where mommy was having to talk to a therapist because of the trauma he put her through. He's a very mean man named Seth and he also had hatred towards me as well, just because I was dating your mother at the time."
 
"Seth is a mean man. I don't want him anywhere near you and mommy."
 
I pulled my son close to me into a hug and whispered in his ear, "I'm not going to allow the bad man to hurt us. I'll knock his butt into next week if he comes anywhere close to you or mommy."
 
"I want to see!"
 
I chuckled, "He knows better than to cross paths with us again, son."
 
"He takes after you." Ashley smiled.
 
"That he does."
 
"What do you think we should do, Ro? I know this is Seth's doing."
 
"Well," I said whilst scratching my beard, "I'm probably going to set up some security cameras and take some measures."
 
Ashley took a huge sigh of relief after what I said. I believe installing some security cameras and probably adopting a guard dog would help our troubles to keep Seth away from our home. The thought of him being inside of our home and vandalizing our property was enough to make my blood boil. 
 
"Hey babe, I'm going to lock the doors and I'm going to drop you both off at my parent's house. Is that alright with you?"
 
"That's fine with me. But why?"
 
"I'll explain later."
 
All she could do was nod and we went back inside of the car and I dropped them off at my mother's house.
 
"It's so nice to see you again, son!"
 
"It's nice to see you again too, mom. I'm just dropping her and Loto off so I can take care of something if you don't mind."
 
"I don't mind at all! They're free to stay as long as they'd like."
 
"I appreciate it, mom. Also, where's dad?"
 
"Your father is inside watching football right now. Do you want to come inside and talk to him for awhile before you go?"
 
"I wish I could mom, but I'm going to be busy for awhile. When I come back to pick up Ashley and Loto, I'll stay awhile to talk with him."
 
"Alright. Drive safely!"
 
I went back inside of my car and drove over to the hardware shop to purchase some security cameras. I walked inside and purchased their best product that cost over almost two-hundred dollars. After purchasing the security cameras, I went to the local animal shelter to find myself a guard dog that would protect my family.
 
"Hello! Welcome to the animal shelter. How may we help you?"
 
"Hello. I'm looking for a-"
 
I paused as an employee approached me with excitement.
 
"Oh my gosh! Is this Roman Reigns?" An employee said.
 
"Yes?"
 
"I'm a huge fan of yours!"
 
"Well, thank you! I'm just here to adopt one of the best guard dogs that you guys have."
 
"Okay! We have a wide selection of dogs who have been trained to protect."
 
We walked around the aisle of dogs that were behind cages and it broke my heart to seeing them staring at me. However, I stumbled across a German Shepherd puppy that looked about a few months old.
 
"This one's pretty cute. Has he been trained to protect others?"
 
"Yes! He was recently brought in and he's a wonderful dog. Would you want him?"
 
"I'll adopt him. He's perfect!"
 
The employee brought out the dog on a leash as we walked to the adoption section so I could fill out some paperwork before making it official. I signed some papers, asked some more questions whether or not he's had his shots and then finished the conversation.
 
"Thank you so much!"
 
"It's our pleasure!" 
 
I walked out of the animal shelter with our new dog and brought him to the pet store to purchase a bed for him, some food and water along with some toys to play with and a collar with his ID on the tag. He was already groomed and his nails were perfect. After making my way back home with the dog, the essentials and security cameras, I started to work and installed security cameras from the outside of my home to the inside into every room.
 
I wasn't sure of a name for the dog so I waited to surprise my wife and son when they came back home. I had a little space for him to lay down while I left the house, locking the doors. Making my way back to the house, I held a conversation with my dad for five minutes and then brought Ashley and Loto back to the house. 
 
When we made it back to the house, I opened the door and the dog jumped from the bed and ran over to greet Ashley and Loto for the first time. I began to smile as it made me happy to seeing my son easily getting along with him.
 
"Did we get a new doggy?" Loto asked.
 
"Yes, we did." I smiled.
 
"He's so cute!" Ashley cooed. "Did you name him already?"
 
"I haven't come up with a name just yet. I was waiting until you guys came back home so we could come up with a cute name for him."
 
"I have the perfect name!" 
 
"What do you have in mind, Ash?"
  
"How about Duke?"
 
"I actually love that name. How about you, son?"
 
"I love Duke!" 
 
I began to chuckle, "He loves the name."
 
"Welcome to the family, Duke!"
 
Ashley and Loto spent the remainder of the day getting to know Duke while I made sure the security cameras were officially working before we headed to the bedroom to get some rest for the night. While we sat down on the bed, Ashley looked over at me. 
 
"Hey, Ro?"
 
"What's up?"
 
"Is Duke supposed to be our guard dog?"
 
"Yeah. He's trained to attack on command from what they said back at the animal shelter and he'll be extremely protective when it comes to you, Loto, our unborn child and I." I said, softly rolling over to place my hand carefully onto her stomach.
 
"How's the baby?"
 
"Thankfully they're not causing me to have morning sickness anymore. I'm just having these abnormal food cravings lately."
 
"And what's those cravings, huh?"
 
"Oh hush! I had the same cravings as I did with Loto."
 
"Oh, you mean pickles with peanut butter?" I teased.
 
"Sadly. When I'm not pregnant, I find that stuff disgusting!"
 
"If you say so, Pickles."
 
Ashley tried to keep a straight face but couldn't and started to laugh. Later during the night, we fell back asleep for the night and it was time to make my trip back to Orlando for SmackDown. Hopefully Ashley, Loto and our unborn child will be safe while I'm gone for awhile. Thankfully Duke is an amazing guard dog and should protect them while I'm gone for the next few days to work.
