Β Β Β She dreams of sunshine, grass, real air. Grass or sand or dirt between her toes, her hair blowing in the wind. A cabin in the woods, surrounded by a winding river. She dreams of paradise, a utopia, everything that her life is not. She dreams of a fire, started from logs in a circle as she cooks her meals with it. No rations, no curfews, just her and her mind in everything she's ever wanted.
Β Β Β But reality sucks, but she refuses to accept it. That's not who she isΒ β she's always dreamed of paradise, and she'll never stop. A few more generations is a long time, a time that she'll never make it to. Most are unsupportive, claiming the constant admiration for something that she can never have is a waste of time, and she should try to do something with her life, but it doesn't stop her. Nothing can stop her from dreaming of paradise, the utopia that she's always wanted.
Β Β Β But Hell is real, and it is Earth, so maybe she'll learn. Or maybe she won't.Β

Β Β Β He fights off everything, his parents, his surroundings, and everyone that doubts him. He wants it all - success, happiness. He wants to make a name for himself, and get out of the shithole that is his family. He has talent, and uses it well, but the world seems to be working against him.
Β Β Β Getting arrested wasn't in his timeline. It never once crossed his mind, and he was never planning on ever thinking about something like that. He had goals, and now they're gone. He had success, and now it's gone. He had a clear path out of what he claimed to be Hell, and now he's stuck in it once more.
Β Β Β Or maybe he won't be foreverΒ β but where he's going sure as hell isn't better.

Β Β Β She used to think she could make it out, change her life for the better. She used to believe there was something more meant for her, but the universe told her that it's not possible. Her luck is something she can't change, and it is forever stuck the way it is. It may have not been an actual voice, but they all told her that she's meant to be this way. Broken and bruised, stuck in the situation she's in.
Β Β Β She stole for the thrill, and the necessity. It used to bring something into her life, a different feeling than misery and isolation. She's been alone, fighting the world's design of her life relentlessly. The stealing made her seem like she was falling into her parents idea of herΒ β but she didn't want to think that. But maybe they were right, and maybe she did end up fitting their expectations.
Β Β Β She thought her life was horrible, but she's about to experience Hell.
