IT WAS REALLY AWKWARD BETWEEN THEM, 

The street lamps were illuminating the road, and the sounds of insects were filling up the atmosphere as they walked down the road towards Y/N's house. Y/N would occasionally glance towards him with the corner of her eye and it would be a lie if she said that he was not handsome. Raven-colored hair with his bangs parted on the right side and golden-brown eyes and soft features.

"What's your name?" He asked and looked towards her, almost catching her peeking at him. "L/N Y/N" She answered and kept her focus on the road in front of her. "I'm Iwasaki Kai."

"Nice to meet you, Iwasaki."

"Just call me Kai"

"Ok"

The small talk came to an end in just a few seconds and silence took over once again. "Haru isn't friendly to new people. I am sorry if he troubled you." He said, breaking the silence once again.

"No no, he didn't cause any trouble. He was rather polite with me." 

"That's new. He is never polite to me. Instead, he always hits me and shouts. I can't even hit him back because he is way younger than me." 

"But you still love him right?" She asked. Kai let out a small laugh "Yes I do. I love him very much. You know when he got lost today I was really scared. I tried my best to look for him but in the end, I couldn't and had to report it to the police. After all, I saw him again after 3 years. How could I just sit around and do nothing?"

"Three years? Why?"

Kai rubbed the back of his head and gave her an awkward smile "I was in reform school." 

Y/N's eyes widened at the statement "Reform...school? What did you do to go there?"

"Do you wanna know everything at our first meeting? Let's save the talk for later. After all, we'll keep meeting from this day on." He winked at her. Y/N rolled her eyes "I will make sure not to come across you again." 

Kai gasped and placed his hand on his heart "I am heartbroken!! How could you say that?" He then cupped his own face and showed it to her "Don't you wanna see this handsome face again?" 

Y/N laughed at his behavior "No. Absolutely not." 

"Anyways, tell me something about yourself." 

"My name is L/N Y/N and I am 18."

"Not that!! I know those things already! Something new."

Y/N sighed at his childishness "I have three younger siblings. They are like treasures to me. Even though sometimes they are annoying but I still love them."

"Three!? I can't even handle my own brother. How can you handle the three of them? That would require a lot of patience."

"Yeah they are a handful to handle but I taught them to take care of each other. So, It's not that difficult." 

"That's cool. I would really like to meet such well-mannered kids. I wish my brother was like that too."

"You can't meet them. They live in Canada." 

"Why? You live here alone?" 

"I came back to Japan a few days ago. I miss them and my parents but I can't live with them my whole life. I wanted to be independent and since this is the place where I spent my childhood, I came back." 

"Things must be difficult right?" 

"Yes, they are. I was looking for a part-time job but I can't find any. I will soon go broke and will have to eat just ramen every day." She groaned in frustration. "If that's the case then allow me to help you," Kai said. "I work at a restaurant and they need more employees. If you are interested then you can come and take a look."

"What really? I will surely come and take a look." She said happily. 

"But there is a problem..." 

"What is it?"

"That restaurant is in the night street. It's safe to work in day time but in the evening things can go a little out of place. There are bars and casinos in that street so you may encounter many drunk men and different gangs."

Y/N started to reconsider her decision of taking a job in that restaurant. She wanted a job as soon as possible but the night street doesn't sound safe. But then again, she is strong enough to protect herself. "Kai, you don't need to worry. I can protect myself. I can't let this opportunity slide just like that. Who knows when will I get a job if this one goes away." 

"But Y/N..." 

"I said I am strong enough!! I will beat the shit out of them!!" 

"Now give me your number. I'll call you tomorrow and we can go there together" She said and took out her phone but Kai snatched it away from her hand and saved his number himself. "Here you go. Give me a call anytime."

"WHERE THE FUCK IS HIS NUMBER??!!!" Y/N shouted as she tried to search Kai's number in her contacts. No matter how many times she searched, no results would show up. "Why did I let him save the number on his own?" She groaned and continuously hit her face with the pillow. 

As she was getting her frustration out her phone rang. She picked it up without looking at the caller ID. 

"Hello?" She said in an annoyed voice. 

"I am upset that you didn't call me." It was Kai's voice. 

"How am I supposed to call you when your number is not saved? You didn't save your number and how did you get my number?" 

"I saw your number in your sim details when I was saving mine."

"Wow!! You shouldn't go around like that in someone else's phone." 

"I'm sorry. Anyways, I am going for my part-time job so get ready. I'll pick you up."

"Ok... Make sure you don't make me wait."

He chucked "Don't worry. I am almost there."

Y/N cut the call and that's when she saw what the caller ID was. "Future boyfriend?! He- ugh. He has his hopes high."

Y/N got the job and since it was the early morning she started working too. Kai helped her out in her work because the manager was strict and didn't want any mistakes. The rule of this restaurant is that if a customer leaves with disappointment then the loss will be covered from the employee's salary. 

It was almost 8 pm and the atmosphere was really different from the daytime. The customers were really loud and drunk which made Y/N angry. "This is what I was talking about." He whispered to Y/N who was busy arranging the orders. 

"I seriously feel like kicking them out. They are so loud!!" 

"We can't really do anything about it." 

"Kai! Kai! It's them. That gang. I don't wanna talk to them. They are scary" One of the female employees came running to them. Kai understood which gang she was talking about but Y/N was clueless. 

"Sure I'll do it. You don't need to be scared." 

"Kai, the manager is calling you." Another employee came in. 

Kai looked tensed. He didn't know where to go first. Not going when the manager calls will be really bad but he also had to take the order from the gang. 

Y/N took the notepad from the girl's hand "I'll go and take the order. Kai, you should go to the manager." 

"You'll be fine right? They are aggressive so most of the female employees don't face them."

"I'll be fine! Don't worry." 

Y/N walked out and saw a huge group sitting at the center table. All of them were wearing white long coats with Kanto Manji Gang written on them. She didn't wanna go to them but she said that she'll do it.

Y/N!! Next time think before you speak!!

She took a deep breath and walked to them. "What would you like to order?" She asked with a smile trying to be polite. All of them stopped talking and looked at her. "Your order?" She said again. 

"Are you new? We have never seen you here." 

"What if I am new? Will you not eat here?"

"What's the hurry? Tell us your name and we'll order." 

Y/N mentally groaned but she had to control herself just for the sake of the manager. She didn't want her salary to be reduced on the first day. "Sara. My name is Sara." She lied. 

"Can you just order? I don't have free time like you to mess around?"

"Ooh, she is angry." 

"Sara you are pretty. Your legs must be hurting after standing there for a long time. How about you take a seat and then write down our orders." One of them said and looked around "Oh no! The seats are full but you can sit on my lap." He smirked at the end.   

All of them started laughing while Y/N glared at him. He clearly crossed the limit. Y/N grabbed his hair and slammed his head on the table. Everyone was startled by her move. She grabbed his collar "I'll make a seat for myself." She said with a smile before throwing him on the floor and sitting in his seat. 

"You bitch-" 

Y/N waited for him to complete his sentence but instead, he and the others stood up and bowed. "What is happening here?" She heard a familiar voice from behind her. A person she didn't want to meet no matter what. She looked behind her and saw him. 

Mikey....
