Kaiko Nakayama was a modest, busy woman studying graphics at one of the universities in Tokyo. A twenty-one-year-old working on the Internet who despite her age, was able to provide herself with more than average life. Quite a nervous, overthinking person who was looking for something more than monotony in life. She needed entertainment other than weekend club trips with a friend or going out to a bar with her current partner. Issei Matsukawa - because that was his name - was indeed a very important person for her, but they just didn't get along anymore. They met in the second year of high school when Kaiko moved to Miyagi Prefecture. Until now, they had maintained their forced relationship. They both noticed this disadvantages, were limited despite their young age, bored with their person and didn't attract each other at all. It wasn't what it used to be - everything changed. At that time, the relationship was one of their priorities, they took care of themselves and were sure that they'd last a long time. Nevertheless, everything changed. Both began to take a new path in life, Kaiko trying to achieve the greatest possible success in her studies, but also at work - with a dream to create her own business someday. Issei wanted to focus on himself, his feelings, and solve current problems. Find a better paying job and move on to his. Build a relationship with someone he sincerely loved and come out of the shadows as a newborn person. Their relationship no longer existed, eventually all good things always come to en end.

"I hate traffic jams, Issei" she growled, her head falling on the handlebars, making a loud horn roar across the street. "Fuck!"

Her partner's soft laughter echoed across the car, green eyes nervously moving along the highway to spot the irritated people. She clicked her tongue as she scooped strands of hair from her flushed face.

"I swear if it doesn't move..." Kaiko's complaints were endless, which to be honest triggered Issei a bit.

Matsukawa was quite a calm person, but he still hated it when someone complained all the time. He knew perfectly well that Nakayama was an impatient person, bathed in hot water. Ambitious, who hated being late, and when something didn't go her way - she began to whine and be unbearable. She showed her feelings without thinking, in a hurry. She was influenced by emotions that couldn't be controled at times. This was also a frequent cause of their arguments - Issei's directness and seeking support Kaiko.

"Chill, you'll be home soon. Do you want me to come over?" he asked after a moment of reflection, the loud sigh that had previously left his mouth.

The dark-haired girl swallowed collected saliva, rubbing her face with free hand. She looked out the window for a moment, chewing the inside of her cheek nervously. Took a deep breath, then replied with cracking voice.

"Yeah, it'd be great. You know where the spare key is. Can you make me some dinner or just... order something?" she asked uncertainly.

"Sure, let's meet at your place then" he added, after a while saying goodbye to the woman.

Kaiko breathed a sigh of relief as his name disappeared from the display of her smartphone. Even so, the thought of seeing Issei for the first time in a long time was definitely stressing her out. Her hands began to sweat, legs shaking as the dark-haired tried at all costs to stay calm on the highway, which after a long time finally moved. Soon after, Nakayama found herself in front of the building as a sour expression showed on her face when she slowly parked the car. Before leaving it, she took a few deep breaths and scooped up all the remnants of her studies. She slammed the door, a dull sound wafting through the deserted parking lot. Kaiko made sure the car was locked properly, then headed towards the building. She snail her way up the stairs, fingers nervously fiddling, finally making it to her apartment. Slowly opened the door, took off her shoes and pushed them as well as a pair of Issei's under the genkan. Left the bag with notes from the university in there, then went to the living room where Matsukawa was sitting.

A dark room appeared before her green eyes, his large body illuminated by the only source of light - a TV. She rolled her eyes and walked over to Matsukawa, leaning over him. She embraced his shoulders, a shaking hand resting on his chest. Kaiko placed a small kiss on his cheek as a greeting.

"Hey, I got us some pizza" he announced without being able to look at the woman.

Kaiko slowly moved away from the man, seeing the shortcomings in his reaction. Tenderness was the last thing he would've been delighted with, and yet she still tried to get close to him. Resigned, she went to the open kitchen, where she took out water from the fridge.

"Issei could you please put your shoes propertly when you come over? You know I hate mess" she asked, pouring the drink into her favorite mug.

"Mhm" he muttered indifferently, his dark eyes focused on the TV. "You should take care of your OCD"

The girl let out a quiet "tch", irritation slowly building up in her body. Kaiko didn't suffer from OCD, just hated when it was messy. She felt the best working in clean conditions, where she had access to everything, the woman was just extremely pedantic.

"I don't have it" she grunted under her breath as she reached for a slice of pizza.

She bit into it, her green eyes traveling on Issei. He was sitting extremely far away, his body pressed against the couch, hands hugging the pillow. The gaze was still focused only on the TV, as if it were something outstanding, but in reality it was some goofy, uninteresting series. Kaiko wouldn't have thought that was what it would be like. The whole meeting was slowly losing sense, and Nakayama was just fed up. She wished Issei would leave and stop throwing his humor around. Despite this - the green-eyed decided to get through it, because she knew that Matsukawa won't last too long. A few episodes later, their dry conversation turned into an unfortunate argument that only pushed him to leave.

"I have some stupid exam in two days and..." she continued, her eyes on Issei.

His mouth was curled into a thin line and chest was rising irregularly. He tried to hold back, his ears not able to resist his girlfriend's complaints. Everything was too much for him. He didn't understand why he additionally had to listen to her complaints, he didn't want to. Matsukawa himself had his problems and felt that since she decided to go to university - she should blame only herself. The dark-haired man took a deep breath, then finally vented his suffocating emotions.

"Stop complaining already. I've heard enough" he said, for the first time that evening looking at her puzzled face, which in turn turned terribly pale.

"I'm sorry..." she apologized, her tone lowered. She looked away nervously, knees pushing up to her chin.

"Fuck, Kaiko it's not like I don't support you, but it's just getting on my nerves" he began, his honesty showing for the first time in a long time. "All you do is complain about everything. Just stop"

Her lips slightly opened, hands forming a fist as blood began to boil inside her - anger seizing her body. Of course she was planning to add her three cents.

"Yeah, maybe your right, because you never complain, huh? You never have bad days and you never lack of closeness, you never..." she started, however he didn't let her finish.

His body rose from the couch, his hands releasing the pillow that accompanied him all the time. Kaiko carefully watched his every move, the various emotions bubbling up in her.

"You know what? I'm gonna leave at this point. It's getting tiring" he sighed wasted, putting his hands in front pockets. He dug a spare key out of them, then put it on the coffee table and turned his back to her. Matsukawa began to leave the room, her shocked eyes not leaving brunet for a second.

"Yes! Fucking leave, because it's all you can do bitch!" she screamed at the boy, instinctively getting up from her seat.

Issei left the apartment with the door slamming - leaving Kaiko stuck to the ground for a moment. She cursed under her breath, then went to her bedroom, which was also an escape from the reality Kaiko truely hated.
