"Oh, what is this?" Johnny sighed as Alaska pulled Daniel over toward the Eagle Fangs.

"Just-" Alaska waved her hands to stop him.

Daniel hesitated. "I want your help. Look, you and I may be set in our ways, but these kids, they're still growing. They can learn from both of us and use what we teach them to create their own way. I guess I didn't want that to happen because I cared so much about honoring Mr.Miyagi's legacy. But I forgot one of his major important lessons."

"Work together because Alaska loves you both?" Alaskas asked with a knowing smile.

Daniel laughed slightly.

Johnny tapped her. "Go warm up, we'll find you in a second."

Alaska nodded, walking off. She had to pass Cobra Kai in order to get to Eagle Fang, but she was okay with keeping her head down and walking by. That was, until a voice spoke up. "You're a talented fighter."

Alaska stopped, turning to stare at Terry, who she'd never spoken to. "What?"

"You're a talented fighter." he repeated himself, walking off the mat to stand infront of her. "I mean, you put a sensei in the hospital, didn't you?"

Alaska looked up at him, her nose twitched. "So?"

"Oh, nothing." he hummed, but there was always something. "I just wanted to wish you good luck."

Alaska eyed him, and the entire conversation made her feel uneasy, walking away. Wyatt nodded. "What was that about?"

"Don't kn-" Alaska began, stopping when she saw Gina get up from the stands, running off quickly. She looked in worry, the group around her doing the same. Zane got up, walking around the mat to get to Alaska. "Where's mom going?"

"She got a call, don't worry. You just stay focused." he tried to reassure her, but his voice was off.

"What happened?" Alaska repeated, looking over to see Jimmy and Kody talking to Beth quickly. "Is she leaving?"

"They caught Beth's ex, the one that was at the baby shower." Zane sighed, and Alaska nodded. "Trey had been helping him get access to the locations she'd be at."

Alaskas heart sunk, but she wasn't surprised. She felt horrible for her mom, because she knew how much he meant to her. "Wh- but how? Where is he?"

"They're holding him now." Zane shook his head. "Hey, don't let this distr-"

"How can I not let it distract me? Is she leaving?" Alaska repeated, her voice was getting higher. She didn't want to compete if her mom wasn't gonna be here, especially if she was off hurting or grieving.

"Alaska." Zane held his hands up to calm her down. "She needs a second, you know your mom wouldn't want you to worry when your dream is on the line. I'm gonna call her, she's gonna be okay."

Alaska looked to Wyatt in a panic as he held her shoulder, a reassuring nod.

"You're gonna do great." Demetri rubbed Alaskas shoulders when they all got together on one side, the final match being here. Alaska was panicking and it was clear. "Remember your roots."

"Hey." Eli nudged her. "Don't freak out. You know what you're doing, don't let her get in your head."

"I won't." Alaska met his eye, her chest was heaving and she looked like she'd rather be anywhere else. "I'm trying."

He placed a hand on her face. "I believe in you, all of us do."

"Alaska!" Jimmy called out, jogging toward the mat with Zane and Kody close behind him. "You need some extra help?"

Alaska blinked, looking toward Daniel and Johnny. "I can take whatever advice you can give."

"You know how Cobra Kai fights, dirty." Jimmy nodded as he looked up at her on the mat. "Do whatever you can to make that look weak, it'll make them second guess ever trying to cheat you out."

"You really think so?" Alaska asked in worry, her stomach was flipping.

"Just do what you know is right. The more you prove what an amazing fighter you are, without fighting dirty, will just be all the reason to humiliate them when you win." he promised her, a nod to his head. "I've seen you out there, you've got this."

"All right, stop coaching Anartica." Johnny shoved his head to the side, Zane giving his kid a thumbs up from beside Kody.

"What better way to cap off this exciting exhibition of karate then with a final match for the ages?" Daryl spoke over the mic as the spot lights shined on the mat. "Repressing Cobra Kai, the Queen Cobra herself, Tory Nichols! Coached by her senseis John Kreese and Terry Silver."

Tory met Alaska eye, watching her scan her over. "Why doesn't she have sleeves?"

"What?" Daniel looked oddly at her.

"Sleeves! Why do I have sleeves and she doesn't!" Alaska asked in a panic. "What if that somehow gets used against me?"

"I've got you." Kody stepped on the mat, using his car keys to cut a hole on either side of Alaskas sleeves near her shoulders, Eli helping him out as they grabbed hold of either side of the gi sleeves, the cut Kody made making it ease for them to rip the fabric right off either of her arms. Alaska wiggled them, feeling better sleeveless like Tory had been.

Daryl laughed at the act. "And representing Eagle Fang Karate, all the way from Antarctica, the Ice Princess herself, Alaska Lee! Coached by her Sensei Johnny Lawrence, and who i've been informed will be joined by two time champion Daniel LaRusso and past Cobra Kai student, Jimmy O'Dell!"

"I picked out the name." Johnny slapped her bare shoulder as Alaska gave him a smirk, holding her head up higher with a nod of her head. Daniel ran on the stage quickly.

"Oh! I stand corrected, fellow two-time All Valley champion, Sensei Johnny Lawrence!" Daryl called, Alaska slapped Johnnys shoulder with a bright grin. "Let's go!"

"You remember all we've taught you, find your own style." Daniel promised her with a nod of his head. "Eagle Fang, Miyagi-Do, whatever."

"Eagle-Do." Jimmy pointed out with a minor shrug. "I knew it was fitting."

Alaska nodded, her heart was beating fast. "Thank you."

"Get out there and kick some ass." Johnny smiled at her.

"Let's go, Al!" Eli yelled for her, getting the rest of the combined dojos, plus Zane and Kody, to do the same with a chant of her name as she bounced on the mat, taking her mark and nodded her head at Tory.

"Take your positions." the ref nodded. "Ladies, good luck. Face this way. Bow."

Tory and Alaska bowed to the ref, turning to each other. "Face each other. Bow."

Tory brought her fist by her head while Alaska kept hers close to her chest. "Fight!"

Tory kicked at Alaska, her own foot blocking her, kicking her back some as Alaska followed her. Tory tried to knock Alaskas feet out from under her, Alaska going to kick her before Tory had her leg, slamming her down on the mat and punching her chest. "Point!"

Alaska heard the dojos encouraging her on, standing up and looking back. She shook the feeling off, breathing out as her mind raced of all she learned. They had their marks again.

"Nichols. Score, 1-0."

Alaska glared slightly, Tory smirking her way. The Lee girl held her fist infront of her, anger flying through her veins as Tory bounced infront of her. "Ready. And fight!"

Tory tried to swing at her again, Alaskas head dipping under her fist as they switched sides, blocking her kick her way. Alaska kicked at her, Tory grasped her leg once again, only this time Alaska used it to her advantage, kicking off Torys thigh and kicking her across the face with the other, landing on her feet after. "Point, Lee. Score, one-one."

"Yes, Alaska!" Eli cheered for her loudly.

Tory and Alaska held eye contact as they took their marks, the ref standing before the two. "Fight!"

Alaska kicked at Tory, trying to use her feet more. Tory swung ar her, Alaska blocked it and used her other fist to hit Tory in the shoulder, a sudden shoot of pain going through her recently healed hand, a yelp escaped her lips.

"Woah, what just happened?" Kody looked in worry.

Tory looked oddly as Alaska shook her wrist a second, a pained look across her face. Alaska kicked her foot toward Tory, hitting her in the hip as Tory stumbled, going to punch her in the chest but Alaska blocked her, Tory's fist collided with her hand. Another pained noise came from her lips, and her face squinted up. She kept trying to shake her wrist, trying to remind herself it was healed and there was no reason for her to be hurting this bad.

Tory kicked at her, using Alaskas block to her advantage to kick her right in the wrist, hitting her chest after. "Point, Nichols. Two-one."

"Lee!" Johnny called her over, Alaska running over. "What wrong?"

"Something with my wrist, it felt like it popped maybe." she winced, holding it out as Johnny examined it. "Maybe a blood vessel."

"Your bone might not be completely strong enough." Daniel shook his head, Zane looked in worry. "Let's call a tim-"

Alaska took off back on the mat, ignoring him completely, as well as the yell for her to come back. Alaska bounce again, as did Tory. She inhaled, preforming a hand motion Daniel had taught her in Miyagi-Do, relaxing her panic and helping ease the pain. "Fight!"

Alaska waited for Tory to kick at her, using her legs to block her. Tory hit her in the arm, Alaska shoving it aside, ducking when Tory threw her leg over her, kicking her in the side. "No point. Block."

Tory and Alaska backed off again, Alaska taking her breath as she stared over at her, holding one hand over her head and the other infront of her. Alaska tilted her head with a side smile, Tory twisting on her back foot to kick her, Alaska blocking it with her forearm rather then her wrist. Tory wrapped her arms around Alaskas, pulling her in as the Lee girl huffed, fighting against it before sweeping Torys feet from under her, the Cobra Kai hitting the mat but bounced up quickly, Alaska was quick to hit her in the chest as she rose.

The crowd cheered for her. The ref shook his head. "No point. No point. Out of bounce."

"Are you kidding me?" Alaska looked in disbelief, Tory's feet over the line.

"Come on, Ref! She went out after she got hit!" Johnny yelled.

"Yeah, Ref!" Kody yelled alongside him, Jimmy clearing his throat and patting his back.

The two took their stances again. "Fight!"

Alaska struck first out of anger, kicking at Tory as it was blocked, ducking when Tory swung her fist over her head. Their forearms hit together, Tory going to hit Alaska in the chest before she yelled out, shoving her hands away from her, finishing it off with a harsh kick, that was blocked, but had them backing off again as clapping hands echoed.

Tory glared, kicking toward Alaskas face, her good hand shoving it away, sending her leg in Tory's direction, having it blocked. Alaska didn't block her chest, kicking her again, taking Tory off guard and giving Alaska the perfect opportunity to punch her in the chest.

"Point, Lee."

"Hell yes!" Wyatt and Demetri yelled on sync as she grinned, looking at Terry and Kreese, who didn't seem happy.

"You got this, darling!" Zane clapped for Alaska.

"Scores two to two. Next point wins. Ready?" the ref got between the two, Alaska looked back at the doors in hopes of seeing her mom, only facing nothing. "Fight!"

Alaska gave a battle cry, one she felt like she hadn't done in ages, twisting around and hitting Tory in the shoulder, shoving her leg away when it came to her waist. She kicked Tory away. "Block. No point."

"Come on, Alaska!" Demetri cupped his hands to yell for her.

Alaska held her wrist infront of her, wincing when Tory kicked right into her hand, but came back with a jump off the mat, kicking her way as Tory blocked it with her hand. Alaska swung at her, having her wrist grabbed tightly and pushed away. Alaska turned, blocking Tory's hits from the right, ducking as her foot came above her, latching onto her ankle, Alaska threw her back against the mat.

Alaska went to punch her, Tory grasping her bad wrist as Alaska yelled in pain, stumbling and giving Tory time to get up before being able to score the final point. They backed off each other again, taking their marks with an inhale. "Fight!"

Tory ran at Alaska, the Lee girl doing the same as she tightening her core as hard as she could, her hands planting infront of Tory as she kicked off the mat, going into a handstand as her legs wrapped around Tory's shoulders. This was when she was meant to grasp her hands and pull her up, but Alaska pulled herself up with all the core strength she had, Tory loosing her balance at the sudden weight and was falling backwards.

The Lee girls feet planting onto the mat on either side of her head, rolling over Torys shoulder and going to twist around to get her in the chest. Tory's elbow collide with Alaskas eye when she tried to roll out from under her. She winced, grabbing it tightly in pain as her vision blurred for a second. "Warning! Elbow to the face! Go to your senseis."

"I didn't mean to." Tory stood up, looking down at Alaska on the ground. "No, it was an accident."

Alaska got to her feet and was hurrying back to her corner.

"Alaska." Sam winced as she looked at her squinted eye. "Can you open it?"

Alaska winced, but opened it. Eli grabbed her face gentle, looking at it. "Can you see?"

"Yeah, it's okay." she nodded her head, her eye sore. "She got me pretty good. I can still fight."

"Are you sure?" Zane nodded at her.

"Elbow her back." Kody encouraged.

"It's not allowed." Wyatt informed him.

"Oh, well, still kick her ass." Kody encouraged.

"Look at me." Johnny held her face in both his hands. "Whatever happens out there, you give it your best. If you're hurt, we can walk away right now, though. You just need to be honest with me."

Alaska rubbed her wrist. "I think I can fight her with kicks."

"You favor your punches, focus on your feet movement." Daniel nodded at her with an encouraging blink. "When you think you're gonna punch, see if it's possible to use your feet. Do you understand?"

"I don't-" Alaska began, stopping as she saw the knowing look in his eye. She looked back to the mat, to Cobra Kai. And she understand exactly what he was telling her to do. "I understand."

"Okay." Daniel nodded with a smile, clapping with the rest of the team as she got back to the mat.

"Al!" Zane yelled, and she looked back in worry, stopping when she saw Gina had been with him now, waving at her with a nod. Alaska smiled widely, waving back as she turned back to Tory, jumping on the mat a second longer to get her blood pumping.

"Let's go, baby!" Eli encouraged her loudly.

"Yeah!" Demetri, Kody, and Wyatt yelled like she had before, mimicking her beach ball motion.

"Ready?"

Alaska stood infront of Tory, her wrist infront of her, left closer in the front while the right was toward her chest, standing straight forward. "Fight!"

Alaska immediately kicked off her back leg, performing Daniels crane move and kicking Tory right in the face. "Point! Winner!"

"Holy shit!" Demetri was running first, picking her up as the rest of the combined dojos added in.

"Yeah, Antartica!" Johnny cheered, getting to the mat while Sam and Wyatt hugged her at the same time.

"I told you." Eli was grinning, grasping her shoulders. "I fucking told you that you had it!"

She threw her arms around him tightly, holding on as hard as she could with the tightest squeeze they'd ever had.

Kody wasn't on the mat, his shoes still on, standing with his dad and Alaskas parents. But he was it. He was Terry Silver. He saw him walking back from the hallway with a medic with him, eyes straight on Alaska. "Dad. Dad. Dad."

Jimmy looked worried, following his gaze quickly.

Alaska had one hand on the trophy when her world crashed down.

"Illegal drugs are prohibited from the All Valley!" The medic spoke quickly to the ref. "Her drug test came back positive."

"What?" Alaskas heart fell to her feet. "I'm not- i'm not! I didn't do anything!"

"You didn't even drug test her!" Daniel shouted at them.

"Disqualified." The ref pulled the trophy from her hands, Alaskas jaw fell as her eyes swelled, looking to Tory who stared in shock, shaking her head quickly with her own sad eyes.

"I drug tested her this morning, she's clean!" Johnny shouted, trying to prove a point.

"Winner by default, Nichols!" the ref shoved the trophy into Torys hands.

"Alaska-" Tory starter, stopping as Kyler picked her up, the Cobra Kai's falling into a loud celebration for her.

"I promise I'm not using." Alaska sobbed as she looked at Johnny, shaking her head. "I promise!"

"I know, Alaska." he nodded, holding her face. "It's okay, it's okay. They cheated you out."

Eli wrapped his arms around her, Demetri adding in.

"Hey, kid, don't get upset." Terry Silver walked her way with a small smile. "Happy one year anniversary."

"Son of a bitch!" Zane got onto the mat immediately, shoes and all.

"Zane, Zane!" Jimmy tried to call for him, too late as Zane Lee hit Terry so hard across the face, he fell onto the mat.

Alaska pushed her way through all her friends that were trying to comfort her, whipping her eyes as she ran off the mat.

"Alaska!" it was Robby, he was running full speed after her. "Alaska, stop, please."

"I should have known!" she turned around once they made it to the hallway, whimpering as she felt embarrassed and humiliated. "You tried to warn me. At the party, at prom. You said something was gonna happen!"

"No, no. I didn't know he was gonna do that. I would never do that to you. I thought they were just gonna go harder on you, I swear." Robby tried to grab her, but Alaska back up. "Please, Alaska, I didn't know. That's so fucked up, i'd never-"

"I don't believe you." she stared at him, a harsh sniffle came from her as she shook her head. "Todays my one year sober, Robby! Out of all things, that's what your sensei does to me?"

"I know." Robby started to cry as he shook his head. "You don't deserve that. I'd never hurt you like that. I'd never. You have to believe me, i'm gonna say something. Just-I'm so sorry, Alaska, i'm so sorry."

Alaska whipped her face, she felt beyond sick. And no matter how much her and Robby had faced, she believed him.

"I don't wanna keep pretending to hate you." he cried, shaking his head. Alaska nodded, her lip was shaky, encouraged her to come forward as she cried when he hugged her, cried for it all, but mainly cried that the one thing she constantly beat herself up about was hung over her head and was used to cheat her out of the All Valley.

"I'll wait for you in the car." Eli spoke when Alaska had been under his arm for quite some time, not talking despite everyone talking to her. She finally did when she needed to use the bathroom right before they were all heading out. Zane was holding an ice pack to his hand, rubbing Alaskas back with the other as they let her go to the girls bathroom. Sam asked if she wanted her to come, getting a no in response.

Alaska splashed water on her face, the pre sobbing affect not so appealing to look back at in the mirror. She held the sink, breaking heavy as she looked at the drain.

"Al." it was Tory, walking in. Alaska looked up at her in the mirror, shaking her head. "I just overheard Sensei Silver. I know you're sober."

Alaska scoffed. "Thank you for stating the obvious, as if I didn't know it already."

"You take this." Tory was pushing the trophy her way. "I don't-I don't know what to say. I'm sorry, I know you won."

"I don't want it." Alaska turned to her, her voice was scratchy. "Do you not understand? It has nothing to do with the trophy, or winning!"

And Tory didn't understand that, but she listened to Alaska anyways. "Do you know how hard this past year has been? I've fought my sobriety so hard and i've delt with so many people treating me, looking at me like i'm just the stupid drug addict at school. And whatever, I put myself in that boat, and that's all on me. But to have it held above my head like that? For that to be what was used to cheat me out? Do you realize how painful that feels? It makes me feel like that's all I am, what everyone else sees."

"I don't see that." Tory stepped forward with a serious look. "You are so much more then that. You were my friend and you cared and helped me so much. This isn't fair, I know. But, don't you dare start to think that all you are is someone that made a mistake. A mistake you grew from and fought against."

Alaskas lip was trembling as she looked straight at her. Tory gave a nod of her head. "When I look at you, the last thing on my mind was that you had an addiction. You are so much more then that, and I know I don't show it, but you are such an important person. You're the strongest person i've ever known, Alaska."

It made her cry again, looking down, because Terrys cruel act got in her head so bad, and only Tory could be the one to snap her out of it. Tory leaned forward, wrapping her arm around Alaska as the crying girls forehead was pressed into her shoulder.
