"Yo! Charlie!" I heard Kenickie call to me as I left the garage. I turned to look at him, waiting while smoking. "Where ya goin'?"

"Out," I shrugged. I turned and took a few steps away, needing to meet Crater Face by Thunder Road.

"I got an RV back at the orchard," Kenickie said, just loud enough do that I'd only hear. He got real close to me and I leaned back a little, not wanting any T-Bird or Pink Lady to think anything was up.

"C'mon Charles," Kenickie said softly. My heart skipped a beat at the nickname. Sure, I had other nicknames like Charlie or Mamba, but nothing like 'Charles'. I know it's a boy's name, but I couldn't help but feeling like his little princess right then and there.

"I gotta be somewhere Kenick," I said, backing away, towards my place, where I would get into my car to meet up with Crater Face.

Kenickie grabbed my arm, making my jacket ride up, again. His finger was right on my scar and I turned quickly to yank my arm away and blow a puff of smoke into his face. I know he hated it, but I needed something to keep him distracted from what he just did.

"Jesus Charlie! How many times do I have to ask ya to stop?" He said, swatting away the smoke.

"Slips my mind," I mumbled, turning and sprinting the other way. I ran across the football field, as fast as my legs could carry me. I looked behind me and Kenickie running after me. After a while, he stopped and seemed to throw something in my direction. Once I was hidden by trees on my road, I slowed and returned to as walk. I felt the heat of the September day settle onto myself. I don't even know why I ran, but, it did make my heart swell at the thought of Kenickie chasing after me.

I saw my house and stopped on the sidewalk. My father was home. His fucking car was in the driveway, blocking my car. My face felt hot as I thought of a way to get to Thunder Road. God, if my father didn't kill me, Crater Face definitely would. I thought about taking my father's car. If I could just get it started.

I walked hesitantly towards the dark green Cadillac. I quietly slipped into the front seat of the convertible and looked beneath the dashboard. I've seen people steal cars by making it start with wires. I took out my Swiss Army knife and switched open the tiny blade. I used the tip to unscrew the bolts holding the panel to the wires above.

Once the panel fell into my hands, I set it aside as I looked for the correct wire to make the car start. I found the one that was connected to the ignition and pulled it out, making it hang in front of my face. I sliced it open with the blade and put my knife back. I rubbed them together, hopping to get a spark that could last me at least until Frosty Palace, where I'd have to spark it again.

I took me a couple of tries, but the car rumbled to life. As soon as it did, I knew I didn't have much time before my father would come out and see what was going on. I climbed back into my seat and didn't even bothered to put my seatbelt on. I kicked it in reverse and backed out as quick as I could. I put it into first gear and then gradually made it to third. I heard shouting and looked into my rear view mirror to see my father out of the house, on the sidewalk yelling at me. I smirked and made my way to Frosty Palace.

Once I got there, I already had a piece of gum in my mouth, not really feeling a smoke at the moment. I drove into the parking lot and bent down to spark the car again. Of course, it wouldn't go on the first try. I heard a familiar rumble of a car and shoved my self deeper underneath the dashboard, momentarily stopping my sparking.

"I dunno, Zuko, she just left. It was like when I touched her, she got shocked or somethin'," I heard Kenickie's voice say.

"Where did you grab her?" I heard Danny ask.

"Oh, c'mon, Zuko! You know I wouldn't do that!" I heard Kenickie say.

"No! I know, I'm just curious."

"I just grabbed her arm or somethin'," Kenickie said, mumbling the last part, obviously smoking.

"Oh," Danny said. He probably thought about my scar. Damn my father to the depths of hell.

"Why are you so curious anyways?"

"Oh. Nothin'. Just curious s'all."

After that, I heard nothing else. I decided to peak my head over the door, seeing where they were. Kenickie, Danny, Putzie, Sonny and Doody sat in the same booth as yesterday. I blew a sigh of relief and started to spark the car again, this time it started. I quickly drove out of that goddamn parking lot and to Thunder Road. I checked the clock on the dashboard. 2:45. I can still make it.

Sure enough, I pulled up at the dirty underpass with five minutes to spare. I popped my gum and threw it over the side of the car. I took out a cigarette, knowing I'd be needing it. I lit it and used Marty's present, Snake, to hold it. I fixed my hair and makeup and situated my Pink Ladies Leather jacket. I got out of the car, attracting the attention of a bunch of Scorpions. All of them looked out of place. Either they were tinier than me, which is saying a lot, or they were too huge and tattooed. One guy even had a baseball bat and another had a police cap on.

"Charlie," Crater Face said as he walked up to me with open arms. He went in for a kiss but I leaned out of the way, dodging it. My mind was racing as to how he knew my name.

"Don't you dare fucking touch me." I said. I really wish I wasn't here. He shrugged and threw his arm around my shoulders. "What am I doing here?"

"You're my date," Crater Face said calmly.

"I'm your wh-?!" I started, but I was cut off by the police cap Scorpion walking up to us and speaking.

"Ya got a Pink Lady?" The guy asked as if I were a trophy. Crater Face belted out a really ugly laugh.

"Ha ha ha, yeah."

"What's your name beautiful?" The police cap guy asked.

"Nancy," I responded quickly. I just want to go home.

"No it ain't," Crater Face said, shifting his arm down to my waist. "It's Charlie."

"How do you know my name?" I asked, turning to Crater Face.

"Rizzo chirps," Crater Face smirked. I rolled my eyes and looked at the police guy who was looking at us weird. Realizing that we probably didn't look like a couple, I leaned in closer to Crater Face, sitting on his lap in his car. I didn't want to get killed by him but I swear he's disgusting.

"How's old Riz?" Police cap guy asked. Both Crater Face and I looked at him, glaring at him.

"Fuck off!" we both screamed at him. At least we have that one thing in common, Rizzo can go to hell. Police guy left and we were alone as the other Scorpions conversed amongst each other.

"What's your name, anyways?" I asked him. I don't want to keep on referring to him as 'Crater Face'.

"Getting chummy, are we?" He asked me, looking at me.

"No, I just don't wanna always call you 'Crater Face'." I justified. His arm tightened around my waist at Kenickie's nickname for him.

"It's Leo," he grumbled. I snorted and quickly recovered once I saw the glare from Leo. I mumbled and apology.

"I'll let it slid this once, Princess."

"Okay Levi," I smirked.

"It's Leo."

"That's what I said."

'"No, you said 'Levi'"

"Jesus, Luke, stop yelling." I snorted.

"That's bullshit, I'm not even yelling. And it's Leo."

"Okay, Liam."

"Leo!" He was shouting now, but I was getting a kick out of this.

"Yo! Leo, we gotta race!" Baseball bat guy yelled over at us.

"Yeah, Lincoln, we gotta stop snogging!" I feigned annoyance. Leo rolled his eyes and waited until I got off of his lap to start the car. The race started and I just sat in my father's car, switching my lighter on and off. Police cap guy was looking at me weird and I realized that I was supposed to be cheering Leo on.

"Um, yeah! Go Leo!" I shouted, not knowing what to say, really. Naturally, Leo won. He got the other opponent's car, though it was in bad shape after the race. He'd probably sell it for parts. Once he parked the car and was congratulated, he walked over to me a smirk on his face.

"I didn't hear you cheering for me," he said.

"I did, ask Police Boy over there," I said, pointing at the guy. He looked at me with a scowl and I waved at him with my fingers, mimicking a 'Toodaloo!'

Leo looked at Police Boy then turned back to me. He looked over my body with his eyes and I wanted to get out of there faster than ever.

"What'd ya say we'd get outta here?" He asked me.

"I'm good." I said. I turned around and he grabbed my arm. What is it with guys grabbing my arm? But, his touch only reminded me of that night. In the height of panic and adrenaline, I smacked his arm away and backed up against my father's car.

"Fine," Leo said, raising his hands in defeat. He dug into his jacket pocket, revealing a Scorpions patch. No way I'm ever wearing that. "Here."

"I don't want that," I said.

"You need it for the next meet." Leo shoved the patch into my hands, making me take it. "It'll be at that abandoned cinema by Frosty Palace."

"You know, that doesn't sound dangerous at all." I smirked, shoving the patch into my bra. His eyes grew dark, but then returned to normal and my skin crawled with vivid imaginations of his thoughts.

"But you'll be there." He said pointedly.

"Whatever. Ya know, your kids will wondered what you did in high school and you'd have to say some shit like 'Oh I was one of the normal ones'. It's all bullshit." I shook my head and walked away. I looked at the car that I stole and for a moment, I just wanted to crash it into something. I turned on my heel, making a beeline to the guy with the bat.

"Where ya goin'?" Leo asked. I ignored him and he tired to run after me, but I was determined. I walked up to Baseball Bat Guy and grabbed his bat that was leaning against a car.

"Hey!" I heard him yell. I walked back to my dad's car, flipping the bad in my hands. When I got to the miserable piece of machinery, I flipped the bat once more, caught it in midair and swung at the door. It crashed into it, making the metal splinter. My heels slid easily as I swung at the glass window. I don't fucking care what model the car was, I don't fucking care how many miles it can go per gallon, I don't fucking care that my dad would rip out my throat. I wanted this car totaled.

I smashed the roof of the ugly car, making it bend inwards. By now everyone was staring at me, even Leo was frozen in place. Once I was finished ruining the car to the point that it didn't even look like one, I threw the bat back in the direction of Baseball Bat Guy. I walked away, lighting my cigarette and puffing out a cloud.

I feel so much better now.
