     Cassandra Lillith Rose has been running and hiding for a long time. She was born in sunlight and happiness, only for death and destruction to strike when she was young.

A fae once shrouded in the golden glow of freedom was kidnapped and raised along with her seven siblings under a cruel hand in darkness. A darkness brought forth by a vampire: the very same man responsible for destroying her entire clan of fae before taking her. It was a no-brainer as to why she hated all vampires and believed them as nothing more than evil.

This mindset does not change when she finally manages to escape he who called himself her father. However, when her mates are revealed to be the leaders of the most powerful vampire coven in existence, Cassandra decides that she has no choice but to hide away from the Volturi and never reveal herself to them. For her mates could surely never accept her and she would never accept them. Not when vampires only ever brought death and darkness in their wake.

But Cassandra can only run from her father and hide from the Volturi for so long: especially when her father has big plans for her that involve destroying the very mates she was hiding from.

𝔡𝔦𝔰𝔠𝔩𝔞𝔦𝔪𝔢𝔯

Hello, fellow Twilight lovers! This is officially my fourth Twilight fanfiction, I have officially written for this fandom the most—love that for myself! Anyway, I am very proud of Cassandra, I feel as though it is turning out well!

I absolutely love the Volturi Kings, and while I have written fanfics for Aro and Caius individually, I have never done one for all three, so I am trying my hand at that. Trying to balance 3 love interests equally is a lot harder than I thought, so I am sorry if at times it seems like one is getting more love and hate than the others.

Here is the thing I have noticed about Volturi King fics, there are quite literally barely any fanfics with a protagonist that does not immediately love the Volturi. There are also quite a bit of fanfics that overly hate on the Cullens and Bella bash to the extreme.

I know a lot of people don't like Bella but I can't do my girl Bella dirty like that. Personally, I like her. Sorry not sorry. I read 4 very long books that were almost entirely from her perspective... and I loved every second of it. So, one thing I can promise is that there is going to be little to no Cullen hatred nor is there going to be any Bella bashing in this fic.

This is not going to be everyone's cup of tea, which is fine, but just so you are warned—our main character, Sandy, is flawed. Just like many people. She has been through some shit, she has her own baggage and trauma which makes her think and act the way that she does.

While this fic is going to be written from her perspective, it is important to note that she is not always in the right and I know this. As do other characters who interact with her. This is intentional: nobody is perfect and Sandy is included in this.

That being said, let's not fool ourselves, canonically the Volturi are not good people. They just aren't, they're the antagonists for a reason... and quite frankly I love that about them. Villains are fucking fun, but they're also villains. So don't expect them to act good when they're not, and don't expect Sandy to see them as good people or try to justify their actions because she won't.

Anyway, enough of my rambling, I simply ask that you respect me enough to not steal my work.

There will be mature content in this fic: themes such as extreme violence, cursing, and explicit sex. That is my warning—take it or leave it, if you're not comfortable with those themes then this may not be the story for you. No other warnings will be posted.
