No Idea -- Don Toliver
   Alternate! Ekko x Alternate! Moon
  (Arcane, Can't Catch Me)

╰┈➤ content: 600+ words, slightly suggestive, Moon is a little shit.

"LET me get this straight."

Ekko eyed Moon, sitting comfortably in his lap, her legs draped over his, straddling him with ease. Her hands cradled his face, her fingertips brushing his jaw, while she pressed soft, teasing kisses all over—his cheeks, his temples, the tip of his nose. His hands stayed steady on her hips, though his fingers itched to grip tighter, to pull her even closer. His brows furrowed in confusion, though there was a hint of amusement in his eyes.

"You f— ... were with someone else?" His voice was low, a mixture of curiosity and disbelief.

Moon shook her head, planting a kiss on his nose, her lips sticky with gloss. "No, it was you, silly."

"No, but it wasn't," he said, narrowing his eyes at her. "You just said it wasn't me."

Moon giggled, her lips grazing his forehead as she kissed him there too. "You're right. It wasn't."

Ekko pulled back slightly, arching an eyebrow. "So... you were with someone else?" His tone grew more suspicious, though he wasn't sure if he was genuinely confused or just playing along with her game.

She sighed, brushing her nose against his in a playful nuzzle. "No, I was with you."

His confusion deepened. "Moon, you just said it wasn't me."

"Exactly," she murmured, pressing another kiss, this time to the corner of his mouth, leaving the faintest trace of gloss. "It wasn't. But it was."

Ekko let out an exasperated sigh, trying to keep up. "Moon... who exactly did you have in your room?"

Her smile turned wickedly sweet, her eyes gleaming with mischief. "I have you in my room right now," she whispered, her voice light and teasing. "But you don't seem to be enjoying it as much as I am."

He let out a soft laugh, the sound deep and smooth. His hands on her hips tightened ever so slightly, the hint of something sultry creeping into his voice. "Oh, I'm enjoying it," he murmured, leaning in just enough that their lips were a breath apart, "but that wasn't me in your room before."

She blinked, feigning innocence, her lips curving into a smirk. "Are you sure?"

Ekko chuckled, the sound low and rich. "Positive." His voice dropped to a whisper, his eyes locking with hers. "Because if it had been me... we wouldn't be talking right now."

For a moment, the teasing fell away, leaving only the heat between them. Moon bit her lip, her gaze softening as she whispered, "Then maybe you should make sure it's you this time."

It was hard not to give in when she looked at him like that. He leaned in, brushing a quick kiss against her lips, his breath warm against her skin. But then he pulled back, brow furrowed. "But it wasn't me that time."

"It was."

"Oh my—Moon!" He groaned, exasperated but amused, his head tipping back. "What was the name of the guy you had in your bed?"

"Ekko."

"Yes?"

"That was his name."

He blinked at her. "That's my name."

"Exactly."

He let out a long sigh, half frustration, half fondness, dragging a hand through his hair. "But it wasn't me."

"It was not."

He blinked, incredulous. "And what did this Ekko look like?"

Moon's thumb brushed over his lower lip, her touch feather-light. "He had your braids... your earrings..." Her hand slid up to cup his cheek. "Your eyes."

Ekko caught her wrist, his grip firm but gentle, searching her face. "But that wasn't me," he said, voice softer now, almost a plea for clarity.

"Yeah," she replied with a shrug, her smile slow and lazy, full of quiet mischief.

For a moment, the world narrowed to just them. He shook his head, laughing under his breath, helplessly caught in her web. "You're impossible," he muttered, but the words were full of affection.

"And you love it," she teased, leaning in again, her lips brushing the corner of his mouth. This time, he didn't pull away.

Just a little bonus I did for fun, considering making a book of just them bc I miss them :(
