"Two more months and my small baby would be a year old",he said and Devi shot him a glare.

"Evandi, If now you aren't gonna tell me what is the matter you won't be able to imagine the consequences",Devi said, making him gulp down in fear.

"Sigh, it's that my uncle called me just now and he is gonna send his daughter here for 3 months. You know how she is right?",he said, sighing.

[ Introducing Anupama Parameshwaran as Ishitha ]

"What do you mean? Is Ishu gonna come?",she was absolutely panicking.

Of course Ishitha was a good lady, excluding the fact that she and Aadhira are poles apart and she hates babies. As a matter of fact, Ishitha doesn't like Sri Devi either.

"She is gonna come for job trials, it seems Devi, and I tried convincing my uncle that we'll put her in an absolutely amazing hostel but he would go to amma and nanna too to convince us to put Ishitha in our home. Just 3 months Sri, and we'll manage. If she does something extra then we will straight up kick her out of the home. I am not gonna compromise with my baby's safety or my wife's pride",he said and she just looked at him in awe.

Every word he spoke travelled directly to her heart. She just moved towards him cupping his face in her hands and kissed his forehead.

"You don't even know how lucky I am to have you in my life Ram garu",Sri Devi says and he kisses her forehead and holds her close to him.

Ram was sceptical about Ishitha because when they went to Ishitha's home after Aadhira was born, she nearly made Devi fall from the stairs and he saw it with his own eyes.

All that he was thinking now is they would be alone at home without him together and what would possibly happen. Pushing all his thoughts aside, he just pulls her closer while his possessive daughter who doesn't like that crawls towards them and pushes Devi aside.

"Expected this from your very own daughter, she won't let me hug my husband too",Devi acted like she pouted thinking that atleast then Aadhira would let her hug her husband but our Aadhira had some other plans. She gladly ignored Devi and continued playing with her dadda.

"You both! You don't care about me. I'll go to amma's home soon and see how you both will survive without Devi being here",she was trying to act as if she was sad.

Aadhira had a look at Devi and then at Ram one after the other and broke into fits of laughter as though Devi had cracked some very funny joke.

"We need to sleep baby",he tried to coo Aadhira and put her to sleep. Who was he trying to manipulate? His daughter, who is just a female version of him, is stubborn and only does something if he wants.

"Alright, Aadhu baby and I will have a stroll on the balcony. You go to sleep Sri, it's late already and don't think much about things, I am here na, I will take care of things",he said and with Aadhira in his arms he walked towards Sri Devi and kissed her on her forehead while Aadhira bent and kissed her on both her cheeks.

"Wish mamma a good night baby",Ram asked Aadhira to do so and like an obedient daughter which she isn't always, she followed her dadda's instruction.

"Ma..ma..sl..epo",Aadhu baby said in her cute cute voice. Devi kissed her on her cheeks and tiptoed to kiss Ram on his forehead while he held her waist in support, she quickly gave him a forehead kiss.

"Should I come along?",she asked.

"Mamma sleeps today, I'll make her sleep and come soon too don't worry Sri",he said and she nodded in approval.

Both of them went to the balcony and walked while talking to their friends moon and stars. Aadhira tried to catch them but every time she failed her dadda promised that he would bring all of them to her the next morning for sure.

Slowly Aadhira fell asleep and Ram walked towards their bedroom and put her down on the bed between both of them. Aadhira didn't leave his pinky finger and clutched it tightly, he laid down along with her while admiring his beautiful wife's face and assuring that Aadhira wasn't going to be up any sooner to disturb Devi's sleep.

The next morning, Sri Devi woke up at 6 am and went to take a bath first. She draped a light green colour saree and tied her hair into a messy bun. She went to the pooja room and started cleaning it quickly before lighting the diya and offering her prayers.

She went downstairs and plucked some flowers, while coming back she was greeted by some of her neighbours and she had a heartfelt talk with them. All of them were good to her, not creating any ruckus with her living there. She came back to her home and decorated the idols with flowers and light the diya. She prayed heart fully for everyone and everything to be fine.

Followed by which she was preparing breakfast and lunch for Ram and cerlac for Aadhira. By the time she was done it was quarter past 8 already and if Ram didn't leave in half an hour he was going to be late for office yet again. She quickly made his chai ready and went to the bedroom to see both the daughter and father snuggling into each other and pulling the blanket over them to prevent the sun rays falling on their eyes to disturb their sleep.

"Ram garu, it's quarter past eight already and you need to wake up now. I know you slept late,but you are getting late for office",she woke him up.

Listening to the word late he got up from his bed in a jerk and quickly drank the hot coffee in a minute and rushed to the washroom, thankfully Devi kept everything ready from his dress to his lunch bag. He quickly does all his work and has his breakfast in a jiffy. Lastly before wearing his shoes he quickly gives her a peck on her lips and pulls her into a hug while wishing her to have a good day and leaves home to reach his office in time.

Devi gets back to the room to find Aadhira was up already, they both complete the morning routine and this time both of them sit in the living room leaving their main door open. Aadhira usually never went outside the door, no matter how much ever she plays it within the home itself.

Devi was working on her laptop while Aadhira was trying to hum some rhyme. Devi notices that her laptop charge was low and by the time she goes in and gets her charger she was surprised to hear Aadhira crying. She quickly sprinted to see the most unexpected yet the expected person on the doorstep.

"Hi Devi akka, How are you?",she asked with a smile on her face.

Devi wasn't the kind of person who holds grudges against someone, she smiled back at her.

"Hi Ishu, please come in",she said and Ishitha walked into the home.

"I'll show you the guest room, you can use that from today",Devi said, trying to be nice to her.

"When will bava come back akka? It's been a long time since I last saw him",Ishitha asked and Devi didn't bother to answer her question.

"Uh, Ishu please freshen up and come. I have some meetings now. We'll have lunch together. I've already cooked",Devi said and went from there without waiting for her reply.

She did not want any drama at the moment, at least not when Aadhira was awake and she was having office work.

By the time she came to the living room, Aadhira was crying uncontrollably and when Devi took her into her arms and put her hand on her forehead it was hot..
