Sri Devi woke up early the next day. She sat on the bed adoring her cute baby girl and husband cuddling and sleeping. She smiled and kissed them both on their cheeks. After which she quickly freshened up and completed her morning chores. She draped a cotton saree and quickly tied her hair into a simple braid.

After putting her sentiment watch on her left wrist she started checking few things which were needed when she goes to meet the team face to face.

Since it was a bit early, she decided to work for sometime before going to make the meals and wake up the duo.

She felt the mixed emotions, it was like she was going to the office as a new joinee. After like half an hour of preparing with things that would be necessary she closed her laptop and packed her bag with all necessary things.

"Evandi, Ram garu please wake up! It's almost 6:30 in the morning, please wake your princess as well",saying so she went to the living room and started to sweep and mop the floor quickly.

As soon as she was done, the father and daughter duo entered the living room.

"Sri, you should have called me. Why did you have to do the whole thing",Ram said.

"It's okay, Ram garu. Not a big deal. You both freshen up. You guys are coming to drop me at office today right?",she asked.

Aadhu was still half asleep and hearing the word office all her sleep vanished.

"Mammmaaa, moolllnnngg",she says throwing her arms at Sri.

"Good morning, my little shona",Sri says nuzzling her noses on her cheeks while Aadhira giggles.

Ram and Aadhira then went to freshen up and complete their morning chores while Sri cleaned the kitchen and pooja room.

She thought to make something sweet to offer to God today and also make breakfast quickly.

She planned to make upma, pesarattu (green gram dosa) and for the sweet dish she planned to make halwa.

"Smell is amazing, ammadi! What are you making?",Ram said coming into the kitchen while Sri was busy spreading the dosa batter on the pan.

"Yum, seems like we are having heavy breakfast today. Don't worry, you'll get delivery of lunch. Today is our day in kitchen, right Aadhu baby?",he asked as she was looking at the halwa while drooling over it.

"Aadhu wants halwa?",Sri asks while taking her into her arms and Aadhu nods vigorously.

"By the way, Aadhu looking so pretty pretty. Nazar na lage to my baby",Sri said.

"Come, come let's first offer halwa to God and then feed Aadhu with yummy yummy halwa",Sri said and walked along with Aadhira in her hands to the pooja room followed by Ram.

Sri made Aadhira offer the offering the God and asked her pray to the God. She put her hands together and started speaking gibberish.

Meanwhile the couple prayed for happiness of everyone in their family.

Ram took the halwa bowl in his hand and fed a bite to Sri.

"All the best to new beginning, ammadi! I believe in you and don't worry about anything your husband got you covered",he says and that was all it took for Sri to get emotional. Wiping her tears, she fed him halwa too.

While our little princess is busy praying to God, her parents are busy feeding each other halwa without feeding her, isn't that betrayal?

She looked up to her parents once she was done praying and seeing the halwa bowl in her dadda's hands. She jumped into his arms.

Both of them chuckled at her and fed her little bites of halwa.

She ate it happily, of course Aadhira and sweets are best friends.

Ram got changed into his casuals while Sri took her around in the garden to water the plants.

The family had their breakfast together.

"Ammadi, I can trade my soul for this upma pesarattu",he says while eating.

"I don't want your soul, you may trade your heart instead"she said and he chuckled.

"Have your breakfast soon, we'll leave",Ram said and went to do the dishes.

Sri quickly grabbed her bag and other stuff which she needed. She took Aadhu into her arms, Aadhu was getting excited because she was going out which means so much fun.

Ram locked all the doors and windows and then the main door after grabbing his bike keys, wallet, phone and helmet.

They got down to the cellar through stairs. Ram dusted his bike and took it out, he got onto his bike followed by Sri and their daughter.

Aadhira was giving out giggles and talking gibberish excitedly.

"Weeeeee oullllll yayy  shaaashooo",she was making weird sounds which made the couple chuckle.

"Aadhira sit tight as we go out on our adventure ride",Ram said.

Morning traffic was there as usual and they reached Sri's office after half an hour. Sri got down from the bike and hugged Aadhira tight.

This was going to be tough, she didn't want to leave her daughter and go. She kissed her forehead and cheeks and handed her to Ram. Ram put on the baby holder and put her in.

"Say bye to mamma and also all the best",Ram says and Aadhira squeals in happiness not knowing that her mother is going to be away.

"Look ammadi, she's giving you send off with such a high energy. Now give us a beautiful smile and go on. All the best and give me a call when you're done. We'll come to pick you up",he said.

He was having a feeling that she was going to breakdown but he also know that she needs to get over this, if not now then never.

He drove from there while Sri took slow steps towards her office. Her heart was heavy and she entered the office to find her team mates looking at her with bright smiles.

"Welcome back ma'am, we are super excited to have you on board again along with us",one of them said handing her a bouquet of flowers.

"Welcome back ma'am!",everybody from her team exchanged pleasantries with her.

"Ma'am, Shreini is waiting to hear from you. You can talk to her first and then we all can have some time and then go for a team meeting",one of her team mates said.

Sri nodded and went to Shreini's cabin. She knocked and entered the cabin.

"Welcome back Sri, hi! How are you doing? How is your daughter now? Also what is your decision?",Shreini asked.

"Hi Shreini, I'm good, my daughter she's fine too. About my decision I was thinking if I could get partially work from home and partially to the office in the beginning for a month and after which I will completely come to the office. I wanted to ask if that would be fine? It's just that I would need some time to adjust",Sri voiced out her concern.
