After 7 million years of humanity's existence, the gods have decided to rid themselves of the beings they have created once and for all. But humanity wasn't going to take this lying down. They've spent 7 million years with their lives at the whims of these wretched gods, and they've decided it was high time to take a stand against their creators and fight for their right to live. 

Meanwhile, a weary little mermaid lays in the confines of her gilded cage. 

To the gods of Valhalla and Helheim, Percy was a sweet little thing. A dainty little princess with an even daintier soul set for self-destruction. Not that they were wrong, of course. Her father was infamous for his cruelty that made even gods shudder, but Percy was different; she had an innate goodness to her that nobody could fathom. Divinity and humanity coursed through her veins, and she adopted the best of her two halves;  the abundance of power from her divinity and pure love from her humanity. The Beloved Pearl of the Sea was what they called her, for she was the best thing to come out of the seas. 

But there was murder in the air and blood in the water, and damn was Percy starving. Her soul was slowly breaking itself down, her body growing weaker, and her mind debilitating as more gods ate away at her heart. She wanted a way out, a temporary reprieve for all this pain to go away for even the briefest moment. 

And then she found out about Ragnarok. 

Mermaids were deceptive creatures; alluring and innocent in appearance, but blood-thirsty to the core, and Percy was no different. If the gods wanted to take their anger out on humanity, then she was going to quench her thirst with the blood of the divine and the infernal. She spent the tender years of her childhood being a hero wearing armor a few sizes too big for her, and if she had to sink her fangs into the flesh of the gods to sate her pain and save humanity again, then so be it.

(So much for her retirement plans though...)

These are the most important warnings for the second act:

━━━ from this act and onwards, we will finally have smut! and not just like the smut we had in the first act, but REAL peepee in the veevee action! the smut consists of noncon, dubcon (both of which are rape btw), and consensual sex.

━━━ extreme canon divergence for record of ragnarok and apocalypse of the gods. i won't tell you what i'll be changing because that will spoil a lot, but just be aware it won't exactly be like the anime/manga (especially since both aren't even finished yet). 

━━━ speaking of canon divergence, all that extra stuff happening outside of the ragnarok tournament won't be included here! and by that i mean the parts about the primordials and odin scheming. there's enough drama going on here, so this'll strictly be about the tournaments (and also, i already planned out this act before the whole side stuff was introduced and i don't wanna change my plans...)

━━━ not exactly a warning, but i plan for this act to be a short one. i do NOT want it to be as long as act one because man that took forever 😂 act 2 is solely about preparation for ragnarok, the apocalypse, and ragnarok itself. act 2 and act 3 were supposed to be one whole act together, but i split it because i wanted to have an act that focuses on ragnarok. i plan on this act being in the 10-20 chapter range (and yes you're all free to laugh at me if i turn out wrong... again 😔)

━━━ as i have warned you all before, this is a yandere fic and the yanderes are going to become irredeemable once we get to act 3. act 1 was merely to establish the romance so they weren't as bad tbh. i do not want to see any comments trying to stir up arguments about ships because 'oh i ship xxx because this is the healthiest one for percy! anyone who ships xxx is wrong because he's horrible to her!'. EVERYONE IS GOING TO BE IRREDEEMABLE LATER ON. i've warned you all AT THE VERY FIRST CHAPTER that there's going to be noncon smut (rape). if this is new to you, then you're not reading properly. please do not read this fic if you're looking for 'squeaky clean dark romance', there's going to be rape and trauma, none of the yanderes are good people. stop picking your fictional ships over which one is the most 'moral'. they don't exist. it's fine if you have NOTPs, just don't act morally superior towards other readers over it! let readers have fun!
