You were up bright and early the next morning to start on your new job. Lola had asked Bugs to drive you there.

"So anyways thank you Bugs. You and Lola have been too nice to me" you smiled graciously at him.

"It's no problem. I couldn't leave a friend struggling" he smiled lazily as he found a space in the parking lot.

"Bye!"

" goodbye (y/n) " bugs drove away and left you there. You took a nervous breath before you walked through the doors, clad in the white shirt that all pizzariba employees wore.

"Hey Speedy, I'm here for the job" you said quietly.

"Ah, bright and early too I see! Well it's simple. Just take the orders of the tables when I'm too busy with making food and clean up a bit now and again"

"Sounds easy enough"

" Look, a customer! " he exclaimed.

"I'm on it"

You felt excited and proud to be serving your first customer. You gazed at her before you approached her. She was a witch and she was with a huge hairy monster. What a weird bunch to hang around here, but they were the customers.

"Hey, what can I get for you?" You smile politely.

" hmm, I'd like a pepperoni pizza, for me and... Gossamer, what would you like darling? " she asked the hairy creature.

"Do they have chicken nuggets?" He looked huge and scary, but he just sounded like a little kid. You now realised they were a mother and son.

" No"

"Can I have a burrito then?"

" One pizza for me and a burrito for my son Gossamer here" she smiled.

"One pizza and burrito" you noted this down. " Ok, it'll be ready soon! " you grinned and hurried into the kitchen to tell Speedy.

"A pizza and a burrito.

"Here you go miss (l/n)" he jumped on the table and gave you the orders and you delivered them to the table.

"Enjoy your meal'

" Why thank you dear" the witch thanked you as you served them.

"I don't think I've ever seen you here before. What's your name?" The boy asked politely as he ticked into his meal.

" Oh, I'm (y/n) (l/n). I just moved here a few days ago and I got a job here"

"Well you're doing a night fine job dear" she complimented you.

You blushed at this. "Thanks" you then proceeded to serve the next customer and wipe a few stains here and there. That's all you did really. It was pretty good getting to talk to customers, just a bit of cleaning and of course, serving customers, sometimes minding the counter. All in all, you made a good first impression.

"Excellent job at doing your job today (y/n)" Speedy told you as he closed up the restaurant.

"Thanks sir"

"Just one thing though, you'll have to wait till the end of the week to get your pay cheque"

"That's alright"

Speedy's pov: I gazed as long as I could at her pretty face before we parted our separate ways. Ay ay ay, what a gorgeous woman and such a competent worker! She lit up the room as soon as she walked in and the customers all took notice! How could they not? I'm so glad she took the job. I ran back to where I live at senor Bugs's house and went home to my hole in the wall.

"Hey Speedy" Bugs said to me. "How was (y/n)?"

I turned round. "She's a good waitress and more than competent worker, well good night senor bugs"

"That reminds me, I should be off to bed too. Night Speedy" He replied with a yawn and got up from the couch he was sitting on.

I hung my sombrero up and got ready for bed. I'm sure I know who will be occupying my dreams tonight.
