On the Beacon Rooftops...

The battle in the center of Vale could be spotted all the way from the Beacon Academy, with the biggest beacon being the plume of smoke rising into the golden sky. Cinder Fall watched with an expression that seemed a bit troubled, as if she wasn't expecting this to happen. As the alarms in the distance and at the Academy itself continued to blare, her subordinates, Emerald, and Mercury approached her from behind.

Emerald: "Is that...?"

Mercury: "Looks like."

Emerald: "But that's days from now. And Jet isn't here yet."

Mercury: "So, what should we do?" The brown-haired woman kept her silence for a brief moment as she narrowed her eyes.

Volume 2 Finale
>Chapter 20: Hearts Are One<

The rally cries of the team of six echoed through the town center as the battle raged on against the invading Grimm. Ruby planted the tip of Crescent Rose's blade into the ground and hopped up before kicking off one Beowolf before using the momentum she had to essentially start running along the Grimm that surrounded her, kicking them all down. With her using Ember Celica to launch herself into the sky, Yang continued to rain explosives down on the Grimm before suddenly, Nevermores flew into her and knocked her down, her impact on the ground creating a small crater.

Leaping from the wall of a building was Setsuna, her Ice Wolf Claws fully sharpened and ready to go. She pounced onto one Deathstalker and began to claw away at the armored top that it had, but the giant scorpion knocked her off violently. With a pained grunt coming from her, she looked back towards it, gritting her teeth as she yelled in rage before she launched herself towards it and slashed the tail and stinger off with her claws, causing Grimm to shriek in pain. It would soon be put out of its misery as Setsuna took the discarded stinger and slammed it into the Deathstalker's body, instantly killing it.

Using Myrtenaster, Weiss slashed three Beowolves before using her Glyphs and Ice Dust to create a large Ice Sword that did a sweeping slash around her, decapitating multiple Grimm that surrounded her. Blake on the other hand was surrounded by Beowolves. After cutting down one with her cleaver, she transformed Gambol Shroud into its SMG form and got into a low stance, with her balancing on one of her heels. She began to rotate in place while pulling the trigger, downing every Grimm around her.

With his GN Sword, Alpha in GN Rifle mode, Akito, who wore the armor of the Gundam Exia clipped the wings of two Giant Nevermores that were swooping down towards him, causing them to crash into the ground before he unsheathed the GN Long Sword from his left hip with his left hand and made a sweeping slash, beheading three Beowolves that had charged him. Then, the hissing of the King Taijitu caught his attention and he turned towards it, glaring up at it.

Akito (Exia): "C'mon you overgrown venom hose!" Offended by his insult, the King Taijitu's exposed black head was about to launch itself at him before there was the sound of an explosion, followed by joyful laughter. Both Akito and the King Taijitu looked up to see the sight of a particular Nora Valkyrie flying through the air on her hammer, Magnhild.

Nora: "NORA SMASH!" She yelled as she came in hot and smashed the top of the King Taijitu's head with Magnhild, killing it instantly.

Autumn: "Ah, I taught her that~!"

Summer: "No you didn't..."

Akito (Exia): "Heh... Starting things off with a bang huh, Nora?"

Nora: "You betcha!" She grinned as the armored wolf chuckled before GN particles ejected from the back of Exia as he took off into the skies. Soon after, the rest of Team JNPR landed next to Nora, with Pyrrha doing her classic Superhero landing.

Pyrrha: "Let's move!"

As she along with Ren and Nora charged into battle, Jaune let out a slight huff as he wanted to be the one to lead them, but he ran in anyways, confident.

Jaune: "Okay, who's first?" Heavy footsteps could be heard behind him. The Arc turned around, his confidence quickly dropping as an Ursa towered over him on its hind legs. The blonde gave a nervous laugh.

Pyrrha ended up throwing her Miló in javelin form, stabbing a Beowolf in the throat while behind her, an Ursa got completely lit up with GN shots before Akito dropped from the sky and sliced it in half. The two stood back-to-back before looking towards Jaune, with the red-haired Spartan gasping in shock but Akito quickly held his left hand in front of her to stop her from moving.

Akito (Exia): "He's got this."

Jaune: "O-o-okay, you're first, huh? Okay, no, that's fine. Totally fine, done this before, done this before..."

Closing his eyes, he took a deep breath before looking up the Grimm, sizing it up. With a yell of determination and slight, he charged it and began to rapidly slash the Ursa along the body, leaving the bear-like grim unable to even counterattack. After his attack, Jaune held up his shield to block an incoming attack, only for there not to be one. The Ursa let out a final groan as it fell over and disintegrated.

Winter: "Heh, impressive."

Akito (Exia): "Told ya, Cherry Blossom." He smirked under his helmet as Pyrrha let out a sigh of relief and smiled while nodding. Soon, Sun and Neptune showed up, causing the armored male to groan in annoyance as they struck dramatic poses.

Sun: "Nobody moves! Junior detectives!"

Neptune: "We have bandages, so you know it's official!"

They two shared a fist bump before a loud roar caused them both to freeze up. Both turned around as an Ursa was already in the process of pouncing on them... before a large, bladed sickle protruded through the mouth of the Grimm, killing it instantly. Behind it was a male with light blue hair that was more on the white side and blue eyes. He looked at the two dorks with an annoyed sigh.

Sun: "Ace, my man! You finally showed up!" The male named Ace sighed and crossed his arms.

Ace: "I finally get to Vale and it's in the middle of a fucking invasion and you dumbasses nearly got yourselves killed."

Sun: "Nah, don't be like that. We totally got this under control!"

Ace: *rolls eyes* "Right. Tell me something to make you sound even more dumb." He said before he blinked as he spotted Ruby and Yang in the fray, fighting spectacularly. He was speechless for a while before he chuckled. "Well, I'll be damned."

With a smirk, he began to jog towards the sisters, who now stood back to back as they were taking on two Ursai at the same time. Before either had the chance to attack however, Ace's weapon flew through the air, instantly decapitating one of the Ursai, taking the girls by surprise as they watched him leap into action, his weapon being caught in his left hand. The remaining Ursa attempted to attack, but was swiftly swept off its feet by a sweep-kick by the blue-haired male, before he made a simple upwards slash with his weapon, which was named Liberator.

Ace: "Man, no matter where I go, you girls manage to get in trouble, huh?" He looked back at the two with a smirk, watching as their expressions displayed pure shock.

Yang: "Ace!?"

Ruby: "Ace!!! You're here too!?"

(Ace Sparda & Liberator)

Ace: "You betcha little sis. But how about we catch up after we clear out this place, hmm?" He sent a smirk towards the two sisters, who both grinned and nodded in agreement. 

Soon, the roar of an airship engine caught their attention. Everyone looked up, seeing Atlesian drop-ships filled with and deploying Atlesian Knights. Akito was watching before he noticed two Ursai sneaking up on Blake. With him clenching his fists, he launched both the GN Long Blade and Alpha at them.

Akito (Exia): "Heads up!" He warned her as the feline Faunus gasped and ducked as the two blades stabbed themselves into the Ursai heads, ending them. Blake smiled before she gasped and quickly threw Gambol Shroud at him.

Blake: "Catch!"

Exia's radars were going off as Akito caught Gambol Shroud while unsheathing his GN Short Blade from his left hip as he made a horizontal swing, decapitating a Beowolf. Black soon came back-to-back with him, with her wielding Alpha and the GN Long Blade as they were surrounded by Beowolves. The two glanced at each other and shared a nod before the battle began. The Beowolves began to charge the duo, closing in on them quickly. However, they soon began to fall quickly as the two Faunus began to attack. Akito started it by launching Gambol Shroud in its Sickle mode, its blade imbedding into a Beowolf's head as he yanked on the ribbon and slammed it into a few of the Grimm. Meanwhile, Blake took advantage of the two weapons she had and essentially spun around like a buzz saw as she mowed through some of the Grimm before stopping as she threw the GN Long Sword, imbedding three Beowolves into a wall. As she backed up, Akito leaped into the air and began to flip while swinging around Gambol Shroud, all the while Blake picked off more and more with Alpha in its GN Rifle form. Eventually, only two remained. As Akito landed, both he and Blake turned to each other and thrust their blades forwards, stabbing the final Beowolves that were behind each other.

Akito (Exia): "Heh, haven't lost your touch at all."

Blake: "I could say the same about you." She said with a sly smile.

A Bullhead flew over as the doors opened, revealing all five of Team CFVY and Professor Port. Soon, they all leaped down and joined the fight. It started with Yatsuhashi landing in the middle of a pack of Grimm, taking out his Great sword named Fulcrum before smashing it into the ground, creating a massive shockwave that sent the Grimm flying and shattering the ground. Velvet stuck to hand-to-hand, jumping over a Beowolf's claw swipe before landing on its shoulders. She squeezed its head between her legs before twisting it violently, snapping its neck.

As for Fox, he charged an Ursa Major, delivering a mix of kicks and punches with his Sharp Retribution before rearing his arms back and dealing a two-handed punch, throwing the Ursa back into a group of Grimm before it suddenly exploded, its spikes launching everywhere and impaling its fellow Grimm.

Yakumo wasn't far behind, with him walking towards a hoard with his eyes changing to that of Grimm eyes, with his Sclera turning black and his eyes glowing red. As his hands were coated in a black mist, he slammed them onto the ground, causing his beloved King Taijitu along with a Deathstalker to appear behind him. His right arm morphed, becoming a Grimm blade as his King Taijitu and Deathstalker began to rip a lot of Beowolves and Ursai apart. An Alpha Beowolf stood before him, swinging its massive claws at him. However, he caught its arm with his hand and instantly sliced the Grimm to pieces. Akito, Blake, and Velvet saw this and two had an expression of amazement while Velvet smiled.

Akito (Exia): "Remind me to never piss him off..." In response, Velvet, and Blake both giggled before the former rejoined her team.

Coco: "Nice hustle, Fox. Good job." She complimented as she walked past her team, patting the Blind member on his butt. The leader of Team CFVY soon strolled up to a large Beowolf and sized it up while giving it a glare over the rim of her sunglasses. "You just destroyed my favorite clothing store. Prepare to die."

She said as she readjusted them and spat to the side. The Grimm swung its claw at her, but Coco simply swatted it away before kicking it a hard kick to the crotch, causing it to coil forwards in pain. Afterwards, she wasted no time and smashed its head in with her back, crushing it. Yakumo cringed as his eyes returned to normal.

Yakumo: "You HAD to do that, huh Coco? That was painful..." He groaned as the female looked back at him with a smirk.

Coco: "Take it as a reminder for what will happen if you hurt Velvet."

Yakumo: "You don't gotta remind me..." He sweat dropped as Velvet joined them. She reached for her camera box before Coco held up her hand to stop her.

Coco: "Hey, come on, you just spent all the semester building that up. Don't waste it here."

She took a step away from them as Velvet looked disappointed and Yakumo just patted her head in comfort. They watched as Coco clicked a button on her handbag as it began to transform, turning into a giant golden Gatling Gun named Gianduja. The barrel quickly spun up and began to fire off Dust Bullets, the power and velocity being enough to literally slice the Grimm in front of her, followed by the Giant Nevermores that were in the sky. 

However, the Grimm horde seemed to almost be endless. More and more Grimm were pouring out from the breach. Even as professors like Oobleck, Port and even Glynda and others like Emerald, Mercury and Cinder began to fight, more just kept coming. A huge hoard was charging towards the students before suddenly, a massive golden beam of raw energy rained down on them, incinerating them in an instant. Everyone looked up in surprise as a particular winged figure swooped in, with three others falling from it. 

One was a girl with icy blue hair and white fox ears on her head. She held a high-tech sniper rifle in hand and began to fire off bullet after bullet with the recoil slowing her fall and decapitated multiple Beowolves. She landed gracefully, back flipping under the swing of a Beowolf, however as her foot touched its paw, it glowed with an Icy Blue aura. The Fox Faunus quickly turned to her right, firing off a special bullet with her Sniper which managed to hit another Beowolf, causing it to glow the same Aura. As her eyes glowed an icy blue, the two glowing Beowolves were suddenly slammed into each other, with the claw of the first one killing the second one instantly. Before it could even know what happened, it was soon shot to death by the girl.

The second figure, which was this time a tall male with black hair, landed before a large Ursa. With a canister-style in his hand transforming into a pole with a curved blade on one end of it, turning it into a naginata, he sized up the Ursa with an eager grin on his face. The massive bear-like Grimm roared and swung its paw at him only for him to sidestep out of the way, swinging his naginata around as the blade slashed away at the Grimm's skin, causing it to roar in pain. He backflipped away from a second attack before his Blue Aura shined as he thrust his weapon forwards, causing an Aura blade to form and launch from his weapon, stabbing the Ursa in the stomach. As it was distracted and roared in pain, the blade of the weapon changed to that of a Lance as he dashed backwards before lunging himself forwards, piercing right through the Ursa's chest and blowing a hole through it, killing it.

The third was also a male, medium sized with black hair and icy blue eyes. He wore a hood over his head and held a large scythe that seemed to have an even bigger blade than Crescent Rose's. He stared forwards, a duo of Deathstalkers charging him. With a scoff, he twirled his scythe around before slowly lowering his stance, his scythe's blade pointed behind him. As one Deathstalker got close, it lunged its claws at him, however in an instant, he had leaped over the attack and swung his scythe multiple times, damaging the giant scorpion's back armor plating before narrowly dodging the stinger that was lunged at him. He was left in a slight freefall as the second Deathstalker lunged its stinger at him. The male glared at the arachnoid as its golden stinger suddenly froze in place, with it now trapped in a mountain of ice that erupted from the ground. Landing on the ground, the blue-eyed male glanced behind him, hearing the first Deathstalker charge at him with aggression. But he simply side-stepped out of its way causing it to crash into the ice, shattering it and tangling it with the second Deathstalker. Now that both Grimm were in a pickle, he took advantage and reeled up for a swing, the blue segments on his outfit glowing as the blade of his scythe became coated in frost, forming a massive Ice blade. He ended it with one final swing of his scythe, slashing right through both Deathstalkers and instantly killing them.

Setsuna: "Woah..."

Blake: "They're strong." She said with a look of surprise that matched her teammates but when she looked at Ruby, she could see... stars in her eyes as a big grin formed on her face.

Ruby: "He... He has a scythe too and is wearing a cape!!!"

Ace and Yang: *sweat drops* "Here we go..."

With the sounds of thrusters roaring loudly, everyone's attention turned to the sky as they saw the flying object, which had begun to transform, turning into...

Akito (Exia): "That's... Wing Gundam Zero...!"

The Meister of Wing Gundam Zero, Maya hovered above the battlefield, her Gundam's green eyes glowing as the Search Eye in the center of the chest did the same. With a simple movement, she pointed the Twin Buster Rifle she held in her right hand and aimed at the Breach the Grimm were pouring out of and with the pull of the trigger, unleashed the same massive golden beam of destruction, causing a massive explosion that managed to kill most of the Grimm that were invading. Everyone stared in shock at the sheer power the winged Gundam possessed.

Jaune: "Woah..."

Ruby: "Who are they?" She asked as Maya landed on the ground, in front of her three teammates.

Ironwood: "May I introduce to you all, Team MYLC."

(A/N: "It's pronounced "Milk". Yes. You've read right.")

Maya looked at them all and waved with a grin behind her Gundam's helmet while the Snow Fox Faunus, Saria and the tall male, Lapis also waved at them. As for the final male however, Akira, he just shook his head as he internally groaned from the name of his Team.

Akira: "That's still a dumbass name."

Maya (Wing Zero): "C'mon, it's a cute one Akira!" She exclaimed to which the blue-eyed male just rolled his eyes before leaping back into the fray to deal with more of the incoming Grimm. 

As the Grimm were quickly being cleaned up with the help of Team MYLC, the ground suddenly shook as a loud roar was heard. It was so loud that everyone had stopped fighting and looked around, alarmed.

Jaune: "W-What was that!?" The breech shook even more as rubble was being forcefully pushed out of the way before erupting as a massive Crocodilian Grimm erupted from the hole and roared at the Huntsmen and Huntresses.

Yang: "What is that Grimm!?"

Oobleck: "A Sobek! One of the most dangerous amphibious Grimm to exist! Its jaws are strong enough to crush one of the carts of the Train we were just on! And its armor is just as tough too!"

As he said that, the Sobek set its eyes on the two armored figures, Akito, and Maya before rushing towards them with a roar filled with sheer aggression. Each step it made shook the ground wildly as both Gundams flew into the air, avoiding its massive jaws; however, the Sobek raised its massive tail and swung it at the two. Maya managed to narrowly dodge by Wing Zero transforming into its Neo Bird Form and flying off while Akito put up Exia's GN Shield and was knocked back.

Akito (Exia): "Tch! The hell! Why is it only after me and the Wing Zero!?"

Oobleck: "I'm not too sure myself..." he muttered, thinking of a reason as to why before Ironwood spoke up.

Ironwood: "From my knowledge the Sobek is highly sensitive to the scent of Dust. Out of everything here, every weapon, the Gundams utilize the most Dust to power them and everything in their arsenal. Akito, you, and Maya are essentially living bait for this Grimm!"

Maya (Wing Zero): "WHAAAT!?" She exclaimed as Wing Zero Barrel rolled out of the way of a couple of white spikes that the Sobek launched from its back. Making a 180 turn, the Wing Vulcans on Wing Zero's nose cone unleashed a volley of bullets as it strafed over the gigantic Grimm Crocodilian, which roared in annoyance.

Akito (Exia): "Tch... Just fucking fantastic!" He complained while firing at the Sobek with Alpha in its rifle form.

Summer: "TAIL!" Akito gritted his teeth as the Sobek's tail quickly swiped at him. While he was able to put up Exia's shield, he took the full brunt of the attack, and was sent crashing into a building, the roof caving in on him.

Blake and Setsuna: "Akito!" The Sobek began to make a march towards the building the downed Akito was in, however.

Maya (Wing Zero): "HEY! Over here you overgrown lizard!!" She yelled, Wing Zero transforming back to MS mode.

With a yell, Maya launched herself right at the Sobek, ramming Wind Zero's shield into the side of it and causing it to stumble towards the left. It looked towards her as she backed up and aimed the Twin Buster Rifle, however, the Sobek roared loudly and launched multiple spikes from its back, catching Maya off guard and striking her, causing her to spin out of control and crash into the ground, with her Twin Buster Rifle landing away from her.

Saria: "We have to do something to help them!"

Lapis: "Like what? It's focusing on them and ignoring us." He gritted his teeth as he had attempted to attack the Sobek with his weapon. However, the crocodilian just shrugged off his attack and solely focused on the two Gundams. Ruby glanced around, hoping to find an answer to this, but a voice suddenly spoke up.

Cinder: "You said it's attracted to high concentrated amounts of Dust, correct?" As the Atlesian Knights were busy cleaning up the trash Grimm while the Professors were trying to come up with a plan, the students turned to see... Cinder, alongside Emerald and Mercury making their way over to them. In an instant, Setsuna's eyes displayed a hostile glare to them. Cinder looked at her and gave a slight smirk before she pointed to her left. "Over there. There's a Dust till Dawn shop over there, stacked full enough Dust to drive that thing away from the Gundams."

Akira took a small glance towards the three newcomers, his eyes narrowing as his blue eyes scanned their figures from head to toe, with his eyes slowly widening.

Akira's thoughts: "Are they...?" He became skeptical but decided to focus on the bigger picture at hand as he shook his head.

Ace: "So you're suggesting that we all get enough Dust from there to take that thing's attention long enough for it to be finished off?"

Cinder: "It's only a suggestion." She shrugged and looked towards the massive crocodilian Grimm, which was busy driving Akito and Maya more and more into a corner with its sheer strength and endurance before she began to dash towards the Dust till Dawn, with Emerald and Mercury not far behind.

Jaune: "That's... not a bad idea at all!"

Ruby: "Yeah. But we still need to at least distract that thing, otherwise Akito and that girl won't survive until we get back."

Yakumo: "You need a distraction, right?" The silver-eyed girl looked towards Yakumo, who was walking towards the Sobek, his Grimm eyes activated as he summoned a large Nevermore behind him. The Giant Nevermore then took off and dove towards the Sobek, its talons digging into its armored back, causing it to roar in pain and thrash around with the Nevermore on its back. "We'll distract it long enough for you guys."

Coco: "Good idea, Yaku! Yatsu, with us! Velvet, Fox, go with the others to the Dust Shop!" She said, dashing into battle with her Gianduja deployed. Yatsuhashi nodded and charged into battle while Velvet looked a bit worried about the black-haired male. Sensing that she was still there, Yakumo looked back at her and simply held up a V-sign with his fingers while holding onto his sword.

He didn't need to say anything to ease Velvet's nerves as she nodded with a smile and nodded to Fox, who nodded in return before the two turned around and began dashing towards the Dust till Dawn, with Sun, Neptune and Lapis behind them. Saria paused and glanced back at Akira, who had already leapt onto a roof as he was sending bladed ice waves from his scythe towards the Sobek.

Akira: "Just hurry up and quit standing there!" He exclaimed.

Saria: "R-Right! Wait up!" she said, running after the others, leaving Teams RWBY and JNPR along with Setsuna and Ace. Jaune looked at his team.

Jaune: "Ren, you and I'll go help them." Ren nodded in response. "Pyrrha, Nora, can you two help the others hold off that Grimm?" The response he got was an excited grin from the ginger-haired girl.

Nora: "I thought you'd never ask!" she exclaimed, with her twirling Magnhild before pressing the trigger on her hammer's shaft, causing her to blast off into the sky with an excited yell. Pyrrha looked at her leader and nodded with a smile.

Pyrrha: "Got it. Good luck Jaune." She said before she dashed off into battle. The two guys of Team JNPR looked at each other before rushing in the other direction. Ruby looked at those who were left as the professors decided to assist in holding off the Sobek.

Ruby: "Blake, Yang, Setsuna, can you guys help them with the Grimm? Ace, Weiss and I will head to the Dust Shop."

Yang: "You got it, leader!" She said with a big grin while punching her fists together while Setsuna nodded eagerly.

Blake: "Right." The ravenette nodded. Ace crossed his arms with a raised eyebrow.

Ace: "Since when did you become my boss, Red?" He asked, his argent-eyed sister only letting out a sheepish laugh. He chuckled. "Alright, let's do this thing."

Ruby: "Alright!" She nodded with a big smile. "Let's go, team!" They all nodded before separating.

The Sobek charged towards the Wing Zero, its monstrous jaws wide open as it was attempting to bite down on her. Maya gasped as she quickly rolled out of the way, her Gundam's thrusters roaring loudly as she flew towards a wrecked building. Watching its prey flee, the Sobex unleashed a volley of spikes from its back, with them quickly reaching their target. However, before they could hit, a blue blur tackled the winged Gundam out of the way, rolling behind the building.

Maya (Wing Zero): "H-Holy..." She panted, holding onto her chest as she caught her breath before she looked to her rescuer, who was the meister of the Exia. "Thanks, Exia Meister."

Akito (Exia): "Don't mention it." The two heard the loud roar of the Sobek as it began to march towards their location. "Tch... It's no good, the cores of these Gundams are attracting that thing directly to us. And its armor is extremely durable. We can't just rely on our Gundams this time..."

Maya (Wing Zero): "Nothing can survive Zero's Twin Buster Rifle. If only I had it, I could lure it away and take it out in a single shot, but that thing's puppy guarding it, as if it knows of its capabilities!" She said with frustration as she gritted her teeth behind her armor's helmet. Akito glanced at the Winged Gundam that housed its Meister and began to think. Aside from its name, he actually didn't know the capabilities of Wing Zero. But from first impressions, he thought it was a long ranged unit.

Akito (Exia): "Does the Wing Zero have any melee weapons?"

Maya (Wing Zero): "Huh? Yeah, only 3 Beam Sabers. Two in the shoulders and one in the Shield. The one in the shield's just a backup though."

Akito (Exia): "Perfect. That means we still have a chance. All we need to do is–" He was cut off by the Sobek suddenly roaring out loudly, seemingly in pain. Yakumo's Nevermore had rammed into it using its talons, sending it stumbling to the left.

Yakumo: "Hey!" The crocodilian looked to its right and spotted the black-haired second year, who stood side by side with those that chose to stay behind to help out Akito and Maya. "Over here, Killer Croc!"

Coco: "You wanna get them? Then deal with us first!" Gianduja's barrel rapidly began to spin as the leader of Team CFVY began unleashing a barrage of Dust Bullets towards the Sobek. Thanks to her Semblance simply known as Hype, the Dust bullets launched from Coco's Gianduja were supercharged and made a much greater impact.

The crocodilian Grimm roared, seemingly in pain as it turned its attention to the newcomers and began to make its move, but before it could, an Arc of Ice struck it from the right, followed by a few explosive shots from Ember Celica. The attackers, Akira and Yang, both stood on top of roofs on either side of the Sobek. With a roar, it fired a green acid from its large mouth towards the Blonde, who gasped, but the Nevermore summoned by Yakumo swiftly dove and blocked the attack for her but disintegrated in the process.

Yang: "Thanks!" She exclaimed to which the Grimm-Male nodded as Akira leaped from his roof, spinning around and tossing his scythe towards the Sobek. It bounced off the Grimm's armored back, causing it to roar in annoyance before it swung its tail towards him. Unfortunately for it however, he dodged the attack and slid across the ground, sliding beneath the massive Grimm with spikes made of ice protruding from his hand. He slashed across its underbelly, which caused it to roar in excruciating pain and thrash around.

Akira: "So it's weak underneath huh."

Pyrrha: "Then aim for its underside!" She announced, transforming Miló into its Javelin form before tossing it straight at the Sobek, stabbing right into its left side. "Nora!" With an excited yell, Nora came in hot from overhead, her Magnhild held over her head.

Nora: "NORA SUPER SMASH!!!" She yelled, smashing her hammer on the Sobek's snout, causing it to lie flat on its stomach with a groan. As Yatsuhashi charged with his Fulcrum in hand, the Sobek suddenly regained its awareness and shook its head violently, throwing the ginger-first year off and crashing into the tall second-year.

It snarled, its massive jaws opening over the two but it was interrupted as a loud yell came from Setsuna, who had suddenly grabbed onto the crocodilan's tail. The Sobek glared back at the Arctic Wolf and attempted to lift its tail. However, it barely budged as Setsuna merely snarled as her eyes glowed, her Primal Fury activated. With a loud yell, she used all her strength to slowly lift the Sobek by its tail, its stubby feet scampering. The Sobek desperately tried to break itself free as its underside was being exposed

Setsuna: "'Bumblebee'!!!"

As Yakumo, Akira and Coco stepped out of the way, the duo of Blake and Yang were spotted, performing their Team move known as 'Bumblebee'. Yang held onto the sickle portion of Gambol Shroud as Blake held onto the ribbon, rotating in one spot as the blonde was being spun around at high speeds, her hair catching fire from her Semblance being activated. With a yell, Blake launched Yang from her weapon, the blonde bombshell roaring as she flew towards the exposed Sobek before she dealt a single, extraordinary punch that landed right on the Crocodile Grimm's belly. It went flying back, rolling across the ground and collapsing a building from the force.

Immediately after, Pyrrha activated her Semblance of Polarity and began to magnetize the steel in the surrounding rubble from the buildings and lifted them in the air. With a yell, she lodged them forwards, causing them to crash on top of the Sobek Grimm before it erupted in massive Ice Stalagmites from Akira's Cryonetics.

Akito and Maya flew out from behind the building they were behind, seeing the aftermath of the teamwork from their fellow students. They looked towards them, with Akito letting out a sigh.

Akito (Exia): "You guys sure took your damn time!"

Pyrrha: "We figured you'd be able to handle yourself for a while!" She responded, a grin on her face as she had a hand on her hip. The armored wolf Faunus merely chuckled.

Coco: "You two okay up there?"

Maya (Wing Zero): "For now. But–" She was cut off by the radar in Wing Zero going off, alongside Exia's. The ground began to shake as the massive Stalagmites made of ice began to rumble and crack before the Sobek erupted from its makeshift prison, roaring out loudly and aggressively.

Akira: "Tch... Of course."

Yang: "How tough is this thing!?" Akito instantly flipped Alpha into its GN Sword Mode, while Maya raised Wing Zero's shield, with her right hand hovering over her Gundam's left shoulder armor. The Sobek began its charge towards the group of Huntsmen and Huntresses in training, but suddenly stopped.

Ruby: "HEY UGLY!" Everyone looked behind them while the Sobek looked forwards, seeing Ruby standing on top of a massive pile of rubble, with a Fire Dust Crystal in her hand. "You want Dust right? THEN COME TAKE THEM!"

She chucked the piece of Dust at the Sobek before aiming her Crescent Rose in Sniper mode and firing a bullet, which collided with the Fire Dust Crystal, forcing it to explode right in the Grimm's face. The Sobek shrieked in annoyance but once it laid its eyes back on the hooded girl, its eyes spotted a Bullhead, flying over carrying a large crate that was sloppily labeled with spray paint, "DUST INSIDE!". The ground shook violently as it began to rush after the Bullhead, which had begun to fly towards the outskirts of the city.

Nora: "Alright! It worked!"

Akira: "Stuffing a crate filled with Dust and luring that thing out of the city? Have to admit, it's not a bad plan at all." He said, his scythe's blade collapsing into a storage state as he holstered it on his back before he crossed his arms. He then looked towards his team leader. "Perfect chance to blast it, Maya."

Maya (Wing Zero): "H-Huh?" She looked at him, then back towards the Sobek which was getting further and further out of the city before she caught on. "Ooh! On it!"

With a grin behind her helmet, Wing Zero's thrusters began to fire off as Maya took off, dashing forwards while picking up her Twin Buster Rifle before she flew high into the sky. The sound barrier broke as a sonic boom shook the entire area. Maya sped forwards at great speeds, passing the Sobek and the Bullhead, but as she was passing the airship, she spotted what looked like the professors in the cockpit, with Ironwood nodding to her. She nodded back, having his permission as she blasted ahead. Maya hovered over the docks as the Bullhead flew right past her, her Twin Buster Rifles aimed directly at the charging Sobek, which leaped high into the air, despite its massive size. Maya glanced to the right of her Gundam's interface.

Twin Buster Rifle Output: 10%

. . .

Twin Buster Rifle Output: 30%

Maya (Wing Zero): "Wing Gundam Zero, Maya Arc, Locked on the target! Twin Buster Rifle, fire!"

With a press of the trigger, a massive Golden Beam, one much bigger than the last one seen, was ejected from the Twin Buster Rifle's barrels, completely engulfing the massive Sobek as it released a final roar. From the center of Vale where the students were, they all, minus the rest of Team MYLC looked on in awe as they watched the massive golden beam slowly dissolve.

Jaune: "Woah..."

Akito (Exia): "So that's the power of Wing Gundam Zero..." He spoke as Maya hovered in front of what remained of the Sobek Grimm.

All that was left was its dissolving ashes. 

>Time Skip<

After the Remainder of the Grimm were cleared out and the breach closed thanks to Glynda, everyone gathered around each other. Akito, whose Exia was deactivated, noticed that Roman was being carried to the Atlesian Knights by Emerald and Mercury, but he had a suspicious feeling about it.

Jaune: "Phew...! We did it! What a crazy morning!"

Ace: "You don't say." He stretched his arms, but soon was tackled to the ground by Ruby. "Ow! Rubes!"

Ruby: "I still can't believe you're here, big bro!" She squealed. The blue-haired male chuckled and began to stroke her back.

Ace: "Missed you too."

Akito: "Oh? Never thought we'd meet again, Ace." He said in surprise, his arms crossed as Setsuna also looked surprised, but waved at him with a smile.

Setsuna: "Hi!"

Ace: "Heh, what's up! Surprised you two survived for this long with Ruby and Yang."

Ruby and Yang: "Hey!"

Ace: "But it's nice to see you two again. You two look a lot more livelier than you were when we first met."

Akito: "Yeah... things happened for sure." He said, looking towards Setsuna as the two nodded. Ace just smiled and nodded.

Nora: "Sooo, who's this??" She finally asked the question. Yang walked over to the two as Ruby was getting up.

Yang: "Oh, this is Ace. He's our big brother. Well... Half Brother. He and I have the same mom but different fathers." She explained, helping up the blue-haired male.

Weiss: "You two never mentioned that you had a brother!" She exclaimed. Ace looked towards them and gave a thumbs up.

Ace: "Leave it to Ruby and Yang to forget mentioning me to their friends." The two sisters laughed sheepishly. "So, you guys are friends with my sisters? Sorry you guys had to put up with them."

Ruby and Yang: "HEY!" They protested with a collective pout as Ace just smiled smugly at them.

Ace: "But yeah. Name's Ace Sparta. Just call me Ace though." He said with a smile and a thumbs up. However, before he could even continue, the roars of a thrusters could be heard, followed by a female's voice.

Maya: "JAUNIE!!!!!" She dashed as Wing Gundam Zero vanished, revealing a girl with long blonde hair and blue eyes. She was dashing towards and tackled the leader of Team JNPR to the ground, Jaune.

(Maya Arc)

Maya: "Ahaha! You remember me, big bro!!!"

Lapis: "Geez, Maya. Trying to kill him already?" the male of her team commented to which she looked back at him and stuck her tongue out.

Maya: "Shush, Lapis! Brother and Sister reunion time!"

Lapis: *sigh* "You..." He muttered before the Fox Faunus girl next to him punched his shoulder. "Oww! Why, Saria!?"

(Lapis Wavecrest)

(Saria Crystal)

Saria: "Let her be, Lapis! She hasn't seen him in forever!" She said, with a smile on her face as the male sighed and chuckled.

Lapis: "Yeah, you're right."

Pyrrha, Nora and Ren: "JAUNE!" He froze up as he had managed to stand up after the shorter Arc tackled him. He turned around slowly, seeing his team directly behind him. Then...

Nora: "SHE'S YOUR SISTER!?"

Jaune: "Ahaha... Guys..." As Jaune began to explain everything to his team, Akira shook his head, before he looked back towards the trio of Cinder, Mercury and Emerald.

(Yasusada Akira)

He pulled up the scarf that was around his neck, covering his mouth as his eyes were dead set on the trio. By chance, Emerald turned her head but, in an instant, her eyes locked into contact with his, red into blue. Emerald felt her eyes widening in shock. Only she knew that set of cold blue eyes anywhere and she couldn't be any more surprised and worried to see him here.

Emerald's thoughts: "Akira...? He's... here?"

Akira's thoughts: "She noticed me..." he briefly broke eye contact and glanced back at the other students behind him before looking back to the green-haired girl, who had turned around to face away from him and began to make her leave. "If those three are here, then no doubt Jet, Tyrian, Hazel and Watts are as well... But... why...? Did 'she' send them? I should keep an eye on them."

He had begun to make his way to follow the group in his sights, but suddenly, his arm was pulled as he grunted, but glanced behind him and sighed. It was none other than his 'fearless leader'.

Maya: "Trying to escape social interactions again, Akira? Not on my watch, mister!" She exclaimed and pulled him over to stand next to her and the rest of her team.

Akira: "W-What the fuck is this strength you have!?"

Maya: "I drink milk!"

Akira: "Chocolate Milk doesn't fucking count!" At this, Maya, along with Ruby both gasped loudly.

Ruby and Maya: "TAKE THAT BACK!" Akira simply rolled his eyes at the two girls.

Akira's thoughts: "Damnit... There's two of them now..." From a distance, Akito and Blake watched, laughing a bit as they shook their heads.

Akito: "What a crazy day."

Blake: "Yeah..."

>Time Skip<

Teams RWBY and WOLF ended up sitting on the edge of Beacon, looking out into the beautiful sunset. For this, they were accompanied by Ace, who was invited by his sisters. He sat between the two as Akito sat next to Blake and Setsuna next to Weiss.

Yang: "Well, we did it."

Blake: "We did it."

Akito: "That we did."

Weiss: "If we don't get extra credit from that, I'm gonna be seriously disappointed."

Ace: "Please, with the destruction and that crushed bakery, no way in hell you guys are getting any extra credit." As much as the heiress hated to admit it, he was right as she sighed.

Ruby: "Plus, I mean, we didn't solve everything... A lot of people were hurt and we still don't even know why they did this, or who that mystery girl was..."

Akito: "Speaking of, what did she look like Yang?"

Yang: "I don't exactly know since I was waking up but... she had black hair similar to mine and was wearing a Grimm Mask... She also had some kind of sword on her hip and was dressed in Black and Red..." Ace flinched a little at her words...

Ace's thoughts: "Grimm Mask, black hair and a sword on her hip huh... No doubt that was 'mother dearest'" He sighed and crossed his arms.

Setsuna: "What about you, Akito? Your fight with..." She trailed off as the male wolf sighed, his ears flopping forwards.

Akito: "Just as I was going to take Mio with me, those bastards took her away from me... Tch..." He clenched his fist slightly but the feline Faunus next to him gently held his hand.

Weiss: "Well, not every story has a neat and tidy ending."

Bake: "We might not have all the answers, but we do have a lot of dangerous people behind bars. And I think that's something we could be proud of."

Yang: "Yay, teamwork, camaraderie, good guys, go team, alright, good job... So, what now?"

Weiss: "I'd suggest training for the tournament but I guess we have that covered at this point."

Blake: "So then..."

Setsuna and Ace: "Sleep?"

Everyone: "Sleep." They all agreed with a collective nod.

Yang: "I'm going to sleep forever."

They all got up and began to leave for the dorms, only for Blake to realize that Akito hadn't moved from his spot. Seeing this, she told her friends to go on ahead, to which they did and wished her luck. With a deep breath, Blake stepped towards the black Wolf Faunus, with her taking a seat back next to him.

Akito: "Didn't you say you were tired?"

Blake: "I did but you clearly don't seem ready to rest up." He scoffed in response as the two remained silent, looking out into the sunset. Now that both realized the situation, they took note that this would be the perfect opportunity...

Both: "Hey-huh?" They both turned to each other, realizing that they had accidentally cut each other off with their words before they spoke again. "Sorry, you first-"

Once again, they ended up cutting each other off. Both Faunus turned away, a crimson blush forming on their faces as the atmosphere got a bit awkward. Neither made an attempt to say anything, before the deep breath of the feline initiated it.

Blake: "Akito... About that night..."

Akito: "Yeah..."

Blake: "I... I'm sorry!" She turned towards him and bowed her head in an apologetic manner as the male just blinked at her, confused.

Akito: "Eh?"

Blake: "I-I wasn't thinking correctly that night. That shouldn't have happened and I initiated it in the first place. I'm sorry if—"

Akito: "Blake, chill out."

Blake: "But I took away your first time. Y-You deserved to have it with someone you actually liked and not someone like—!?"

Blake's eyes shot open, becoming as wide as saucers as she had felt contact on her lips. The attacker? It was Akito, who stared into her amber eyes as his lips pressed against hers, with the sounds of excited squealing coming from his sisters. Soon, the kiss ended with Blake stuttering, her face beet red. Even though Akito's face was in a similar situation, he kept calm.

Akito: "See? Now, are you chill?"

Blake: "I-I-I... B-But why me when I—!?" He silenced her again with another kiss.

Akito: "Keep trying to say something bad about yourself and I'll kiss you." He told her as he broke the kiss. Blake at this point, couldn't find words to even say. It wasn't their first kiss, yet... it still got her like this. "Blake... We've been beating about the bush for too long and it's getting frustrating. You know it and I know it. We know what we really want." He said, his hands snaking up her figure and wrapping around her waist as she flinched slightly from his touch.

Blake: "B-But..." She slightly glanced off. "Are you really okay with me...? Don't you like... you know, Pyrrha? Setsuna?"

Akito: "Pfft. Pyrrha's just my best friend and Setsu's my partner in crime. She's essentially family to me at this point. You however... I only have eyes for this one beautiful kitten." He said as he reached his hand up and untied her bow, freeing her cat ears. He then leaned towards them and whispered in a tone filled with desire and love. "That's right. My heart belongs to you Blake Belladonna..." Blake shivered from the feeling of his breath tickling her cat ears. They locked eyes in silence, with the female breathing a bit heavily from all of this.

Akito: "The question is, do you love me, Blake?"

He already knew the answer at this point. He didn't need her to answer and she knew that. With her saying 'fuck it' to the entire world, she instantly lunged forwards, latching her lips onto his as the two entered a powerful embrace. This time, they took their time and savored each other's taste as their lips smacked against each other, the atmosphere turning to one of complete bliss and love.

Finally... Finally, things have been resolved and a new love has been formed. They could finally say it to each other without any problems...

"I love you."
