Ex Chapter 2: Kitty's New Style

It was night time in the Kingdome of Vale and in Beacon Academy, the students are looking to getting ready for bed. The Break before the official beginning of the Vytal Festival Tournament was close and most students were looking forwards to heading home to family. Others that had no such luck would just end up in apartments in the city of Vale.

Yang: "I'm back~!"  The blonde chirped as she entered the dorm room her team and Team WOLF shared together. However, much to her surprise, Blake was the only one in the room, sitting on her bed as she was fixing her bow.  "Where is everybody?"

Blake: "They're not back yet."  She answered, however, she instantly felt the eyes of the brawler on her and sweat dropped.  "What?"

Yang: "Watching you tie your ribbon, it just got me wondering... How many ribbons do you have? You have one on your weapon too, right?"

Blake: "I like to keep a backup on hand."  She reached towards the table by the window before opening the drawer, taking out a gray box. After resting it on her lap, she opened it to reveal around 13 extra rolls of Ribbons, with them alternating between the colors black and purple.  "I replace them when they get worn out."

Yang: "Wow! You have so many!"  She exclaimed before a light bulb went off in her head.  "Hey, can I borrow one?"

Blake: "Sure... But why?"  She questioned in confusing as she unwrapped a purple ribbon from a roll before handing it to her teammate.

The answer she got from Yang was a charming smile. Soon, the feline Faunus found herself sitting in a chair in front of the room's dresser and mirror while Yang was standing behind her, a metal comb and the ribbon in hand.

Yang: "Heh, heh... 'Beauty Salon Yang' is now open! I got the itch to see if we could give you a different hairstyle!"

Blake: "The itch, huh...?"  She seemed kind of unsure until the blonde leaned down to her and whispered.

Yang: "Who knows, maybe Akito will like it too~"  In an instant, Blake's face went bright red as her mind was filled with thoughts, mainly of Akito complimenting her on her new hairstyle, which whatever it would be. Seeing as she liked the idea, she agreed to it.

Blake: "W-Well, okay."

Yang: "Yay!"  With a grin, she began to work away, staring off by combing through the ravenette's beautiful long black hair. Yang ended up whistling in amazement.  "You have beautiful hair! It inspires the older sister in me."

Blake: "I do? I never thought about it. And what does being an older sister have to do with it? I'm not your sister."

Yang: "Trust me, it's a thing. Akito would totally know what I mean, since he is an older brother."

Blake: *chuckles* "I suppose so."

A few minutes went by before Yang squealed in happiness. She had finished her work on Blake and stepped away from her.

Yang: "Ta-da~! Well? Not bad changing it up once in a while, right?"  She stated in a confident hum.

Blake took a look in the mirror, spotting the work that the blonde did. She ended up braiding a bit of her hair before using the ribbon she gave her to tie the area below the braids. Then she left the free flowing hair underneath the braids untouched, resulting in kind of a half braid pony tail.

Blake: "...Hehe... yeah."  She smiled, feeling happy about the change. However, the sound of the door opening startled her as through the mirror, she could see a particular wolf entering.

Akito: "Oh? Didn't know that you girls were in here."

Yang: "Akito! Just in time! Get a load of this!"

Blake: "Y-Yang, wait—"  Her yelping ended up cutting her off as the blonde bruiser spun her around with a bright smile and presented her to Akito.

Yang: "Ta-da~! Meet the new Blake Belladonna~! Whatcha think, Akito??"

As she stepped away from the feline Faunus, Akito's eyes widened slightly, spotting his girlfriend with her new hairstyle. Blake stood there, one arm crossed around her waist as the other rested on it, her using her index finger to play with her hair as she sported a deep blush on her face. While Akito was just flabbergasted by the sight, Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter all appeared, all giddy with excitement.

S.S.A.W: "Ooh!"

Blake: "H-Hey! Don't tease me girls..."  She protested before taking a deep breath. Looking at her boyfriend, she slowly walked towards him, her amber eyes shifting from looking at him to looking around him repeatedly.  "H-How do I look...?"

Akito: "I-I... Y-You..."  the feline Faunus slowly downcasts.

Blake: "Is it... bad...?"

Akito: "Huh!? N-No! Far from it! You look amazing! Stunning even!"

He stated, with him spewing out his words rather quickly. Not everyone got to see the infamous Wolf of the White Fang in such a flustered state and Yang was granted that opportunity. Blake, from his response twitched slightly but internally, she felt extremely happy to hear that from him. So she responded, a small happy smile on her face.

Blake: "Thanks.. Akito."  She responded, to which he laughed slightly but smiled in response.

Akito: "Heh... Anything for you, Kitty."  Her blush worsened from the nickname but her smile only grew as she went over to him and hugged his side.

Yang, who stood with Spring, Summer, Winter and Autumn, had a accomplished grin on her face as she held up two of her hands, to which Autumn and Summer high-fived.

Yang: "Mission Accomplished."

Spring: "Yatta~!"
