Now with the weekend upon them and the Vytal Festival right around the corner, Teams RWBY and WOLF were dragged out of their shared dorm by the ice queen herself, Weiss Schnee who was more than ecstatic to see the upcoming Vytal Festival.

Weiss: "The Vytal Festival! Oh this is absolutely wonderful!"

Autumn: "Okaaay... Why is she smiling like that??"

Summer: "Did she wake up on the right side of the bed instead of the wrong side?"

Ruby: "I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much Weiss, its kinda weirding me out..."

Weiss: "How could you not smile? A festival dedicated to the culture of the world! There will be dances, parades, a tournament! Oh, the amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breath taking!"

Yang: *deadpans* "Wow... You really know how to take a good thing and make it sound boring."

Akito: "No kidding..."

Weiss: "Quiet you."

Yang: "Can you remind me why we're spending our Friday afternoon visiting the stupid docks?"

Ruby: "Ugh... they smell like fish..." She complained pinching her nose. Akito glanced at Blake, who looked at him, her eye twitching.

Blake: "Don't you even think about it.." Setsuna snickered at her before Weiss continued speaking.

Weiss: "If you must know Yang, I've heard that students visiting from Vacuo will be arriving by ship today. And as a representative of Beacon, I feel as though it is my solemn duty to welcome them to this fine kingdom.

Akito: "Aka..." he gestured towards Blake, who continued for him.

Blake: "She just wants to spy on them so she'll have the upper hand in the tournament."

Weiss: "Ugh, you can't prove that!"

Ruby: "Woah..." She whispered, catching the other's attention. Ruby whisper something that caught our attention. She was at a dust shop with broken windows and yellow hazard tape along with two Police Officers standing outside of it. Curious, the group decided to make their way towards them.

>Chapter 7: The Strays<

RWBY and WOLF walked towards the Dust shop where two policemen were inspecting; this robbery seemed fresh too.

Ruby: "What happened here?"

Cop 1: "Robbery. Second Dust shop hit this week. This place is turning into a jungle."

Yang: "That's terrible."

Cop 2: "They left all the money too."

Akito: "Huh... That's not normal..." He said, crossing his arms.

Setsuna: "Who would rob a store and leave all the money?"

Cop 1: "Yeah, just doesn't make a lick of sense. Who needs that much Dust?"

Cop 2: "I dunno, ya know what I mean?"

Cop 1: "You thinking the White Fang huh?"

Cop 2; "Ya, I'm thinking we don't get paid enough."

Weiss: "Hmph. The White Fang. What an awful bunch of degenerates." She placed her hands on her hips as she turned away slightly. Akito, Blake and Setsuna slowly looked at her, narrowing their eyes.

Blake: "What's your problem?" She asked with attitude, a hand on her hip

Weiss: "My problem? I simply don't care for the criminally insane."

Blake: "The White Fang are hardly a bunch of psychopaths. They're a collection of misguided Faunus." Weiss looked at Blake, dumbfounded.

Weiss: "Misguided? They want to wipe humanity off of the face of the planet!"

Akito: "And what Humans like Cardin and your father are doing, isn't helping them change their ways. So who's really to blame, Schnee?"

S.S.A.W: "...Uh oh... Big Bro's getting Angry.."

She glared at him as the black wolf glared back, with Setsuna grinding her teeth together, resisting the urge to pounce on Weiss. Blake quickly held them both back however.

Blake: "Either way, it doesn't explain why they would rob a Dust shop in the middle of downtown Vale."

Ruby: "Hmm... Blake's got a point... Besides, the police never caught that Torchwick guy me, Akito and Setsuna ran into a few months ago... Maybe it was him."

Weiss: "Well that doesn't change the fact that the White Fang are a bunch of scum. Those Faunus only know how to lie, cheat and steal." Akito's eye twitched a bit in anger.

Akito: "Oh! Well if all WE Faunus can to is lie, cheat and steal, then I guess all YOU can do is bitch, abuse and treat us like damn animals." She snapped her head towards him, with a look of offense.

Weiss: "I don't do any of those!"

Akito: "Oh really? Then what are you doing now!?" The two glared at each other as Ruby quickly got between the two an pushed them apart.

Ruby: "Guys! Please stop fighting!"

Before anything could escalate further, their attention was suddenly grabbed by shouting from back at the docks. When they got there, the sight they saw was two sailors chasing a blonde monkey Faunus boy.

Sailor 1: "Hey! Stop that Faunus!" He ran across the boat before stopping at the edge of it to look at the two sailors.

Monkey: "Thanks for the ride guys!" He then jumped off it and began running along the docks before jumping again.

Sailor 2: "You no good stowaway!" The Monkey Faunus was hanging upside down with his tail while peeling a banana.

Monkey: "Hey! A 'no good stowaway' would have been caught! I'm a great stowaway!" Soon the two cops from earlier joined them in trying to catch him.

Winter: "He's not wrong, through.."

Cop 1: "Hey! Get down from there this instant!"

The Monkey Faunus' answer was to drop the banana peel onto the cop's face, annoying him. He pulled himself up to a crouching position on top of the post before laughing, jumping off and running away. He ran past the group of Teenagers but while he did, he winked at Blake who seemed slightly surprised. Akito however saw this as his eye twitched in annoyance.

Akito: "Well he's... 'charming'.."

Yang: "Well Weiss, you wanted to see the competition, and there it goes..."

Weiss: "Quick! We have to observe him!" They all began chasing after him, besides Blake who was standing there. Noticing that she wasn't moving, Akito stopped and looked back at her.

Akito: "Blake. You coming?"

Blake: "H-Huh? Yeah."

Soon the two caught up to the others, however when they turned the corner, they saw Ruby, Setsuna and Yang standing there while Weiss was on the ground with a ginger girl, with the Monkey boy jumping away.

Weiss: "No he got away!"

Yang: "Uhh... Weiss?" She pointed to the girl that Weiss was currently on top of. When she looked down, the girl smiled and waved as Weiss just jumped up, frightened.

Ginger: "Sal-u-ta-tions!"

Ruby: "Um... Hello."

Yang: "Are you... okay?"

Ginger: "I'm wonderful! Thank you for asking!" The team looked at each other confusingly before looking back at her.

Yang: "Uhh... Do you... want to get up?"

Ginger: "...Yes!" She flipped herself up, causing the team to back away from her. "My name is Penny. It's a pleasure to meet you!"

(Penny Polendina)

Ruby: "Hi Penny, I'm Ruby."

Weiss: "I'm Weiss"

Blake: "Blake."

Akito: "Name's Akito." He pets Setsuna on her head as her tail wagged and she nuzzled against him happily. "She's Setsuna."

Yang: "Are you sure you didn't hit your head?" Blake and Akito just elbowed her before she cleared her throat. "Oh! I'm Yang."

Penny: "It's a pleasure to meet you!"

Weiss: "You already said that."

Penny: "...So I did!"

Weiss: "Well... Sorry for running into you!" They all began to walk away, with Ruby giving her a little wave.

Ruby: "Take care, friend!"

As they were walking away, Yang decided to speak up about that encounter with Penny, which was a bit strange.

Yang: "She was... weird..."

Akito: "So are we." Yang looked at him, trying to think about a counter before she stopped with a hum and shrugged.

Yang: "Good point."

Weiss: "Now, where did that Faunus riff raff run off to?" However as soon as she said that, the red-head in question had appeared right in front of them, causing all 6 to back away in surprise.

Penny: "What did you just call me?" Weiss was looking back and forth between Penny's original position and her new one with a confused as hell look while Yang looked somewhat scared.

Akito: "What the fu-"

Spring: "LANGUAGE!"

Akito telepathically: "Damnit Spring.."

Yang: "Oh, I'm really sorry! I definitely didn't think you heard me!"

Penny: "No, not you." She walked past all of us and stood directly in front of Ruby, who backed away slightly. "You!"

Ruby: "M-Me? I-I don't know... I, what I... Um... Uh..."

Penny: "You called me friend! Am I really your friend?"

Ruby: "Umm..." She looked at the others, who were all shaking their head no, except for Setsuna who just stared wide-eyed as she was still trying to process what the heck just happened. "Y-Yeah... Sure... Why not?" Weiss, Blake, Akito and Yang just fell over anime-style with their legs in the air while Setsuna, again, just stared in utter confusion.

Penny: "Ahahah! Sen-sational! We can paint our nails, and try on clothes and talk about cute boys, like Akito!" She pointed at Akito, who only blinked. Blake however, immediately pulled him to her side by hugging his arm.

Akito: "Wha-"

Blake: "No YOU cannot." She said with a slight glare at Penny and Ruby, who both just looked confused.

Winter: "Oh? Heh... She's getting possessive of you."

Blake seemed to have realized what she was doing as she blushed and immediately pulled away, while Yang snickered in amusement.

Ruby: "Oh... is this what it was like when you met me?" She leaned towards Weiss who only dusted herself off.

Weiss: "No, she seems... far more coordinated."

Setsuna: "Um.., what are you doing in Vale?"

Penny: "I'm here to fight in the tournament."

Weiss: "Wait... you're fighting in the tournament?"

Penny: "I'm combat ready!"

Weiss: "Forgive me but, you hardly look the part."

Akito: "Says the Princess in the dress."

Weiss: "Hmph! It's a 'Combat Skirt'!" Ruby immediately slid next to her with a smirk.

Ruby: "Yeah!" Weiss held her hand out as Ruby low-fived her. But then a sudden realization came to the heiress.

Weiss: "Wait a minute. If you're here for the tournament, does that mean you know that monkey tailed... rapscallion?" Hearing that, irritated both Blake and Akito immediately.

Penny: "The who?"

Weiss: "The filthy Faunus from the boat!" She then pulled out a very poorly drawn picture of the Monkey Boy.

Blake: "Why do you keep saying that!?" They all turned to look at Blake who was approaching the heiress with a clearly angry expression on her face.

Weiss: "Huh?"

Blake: "Stop calling him a rapscallion! Stop calling him a degenerate! He's a person!"

Weiss: "Oh, I'm sorry. Would you like me to stop referring to the trash can as a trash can, or the lamp post as a lamp post?"

Akito: "Oh, if we're going by that mindset, should I refer to every damn human as ignorant, narrow minded, judgmental, bratty and flat out reatarded like you?" She looked at him taken aback before glaring at him.

Weiss: "You can't say that!"

Akito: "Yet here you are saying all those stuff about us Faunus! What the fuck do you want me to say, Disney Princess!?"

Autumn: "Ahh, he's getting really mad..!!"

Blake: "Stop it!"

Weiss: "Stop what!? He clearly broke the law. Give him time; he'll probably join up with those other Faunus in the White Fang."

Akito: "How would you even assume that you son of a-ugh!" He growled and began to walk away.

Blake: "Ugh, you ignorant little brat!" She turned around, starting to storm off angrily, following Akito as Weiss stood there, surprised by their insults.

Weiss: "How dare you talk to me like that! I am your teammate!"

Blake: "You are a judgmental little girl."

Akito: "And on top of that, a flat out hypocrite."

Weiss: "What in the world makes you say that!?"

Blake: "The mere fact that you would sort that Faunus boy with a terrorist group solely based on his species makes you just as much as a scoundrel as you believe him to be!"

Weiss: "Ah-ha! So you DO admit he's a scoundrel!"

Akito: "Oh shut it would you? You know for a fact that's not what she meant. If anyone's the scoundrel, it's you!"

The three continued to argue and argue while Yang and Ruby stood next to Setsuna, all worried.

Yang: "Um... I think we should probably go..."

Penny: "Where are we going?" She asked oblivious as she appeared behind them.

Weiss' argument with Blake and Akito continued on for the entire trip back to Beacon Academy, even towards the night. Ruby and Yang just stared at them in worry as Setsuna's ears and eyes began twitching out of frustration. Even, Spring, Summer, Winter and Autumn said nothing in Akito's mind throughout this argument as they all agreed to just leave him be until he cools down, which didn't seem like was gonna happen for a while.

Weiss: "You realize you're defending an organization that hates humanity, don't you? The Faunus of the White Fang are pure evil!"

Akito: "Then what does that make you, a fucking saint or something!?"

Weiss: "I don't steal from others and kill!"

Akito: "And we Faunus don't make you our fucking dogs and we don't rob you of our rights! So what's your damn point? Oh wait, you DON'T have one!"

Blake: "And there's no such thing as pure evil! Why do you think The White Fang hate humanity so much? It's because of people like Cardin, people like YOU that force the White Fang to take such drastic measures!"

Weiss: "People like me!?!?"

Blake: "You're discriminatory!"

Weiss: "I'm a victim!" Everyone fell silent and just looked at Weiss. "You want to know why I hate the White Fang? Why I don't particularly trust the Faunus? They've been at war with my family for years... War... as in actual bloodshed... My grandfather's company has had a target painted on our back for as long as I can remember... And even since I was a child, I've watch family, friends disappear, board members executed, an entire train car of Dust... stolen... And every day, my father would come home furious and that made for a very difficult childhood."

Ruby: "Weise, I..." She approached her, however, Akito immediately began to taunt Weiss.

Akito: "Oh, boo fucking hoo! You had a shitty childhood! Poor you! Let me play you a song on the world's smallest fucking violin for you! Well let ME tell you something! That, you went through, is NOTHING compared to what WE went through! We lived on the streets, had trash and insults thrown at us. We had the basic essentials we NEEDED to survive taken away from us, and guess who it was! By. The. Humans! That was OUR childhood! What was yours, getting yelled at by your father while you lounge in your big ass mansion in the floating city, doing absolutely NOTHING to get everything that you have!? Such a shitty childhood right!?"

It seemed like that struck a very sensitive nerve in the heiress as she glared at him, spinning on her heal as Ruby was pushed away slightly.

Weiss: "You know what! You want to know why I despise the white fang!? It's because they're a bunch of liars! Thieves! And murderers!" Before Akito even had the chance to retaliate, Blake already did.

Blake: "Well maybe WE were tired of being pushed around!" Just as those words left her mouth, silence filled the room. Ruby, Weiss and Yang just stared at her as Setsuna grumbled under her breath. Akito glanced back at her, with a look that said 'Wrong words'. Finally, Blake realized what she said and gasped as she began stuttering.

Blake: "I-I... W-We..." Now filled with fear, the feline immediately dashed out of the room, too fast for anyone to stop her,

Ruby: "Blake wait! Come back!" It was too late as she was already long gone. Akito growled and glared at Weiss who just stared at him. He wanted to just absolutely rip into her on how awful of a person she was but decided that he said enough. So he began to walk out of the room. "Akito, wait!"

Akito: "I'm going after her. Besides, at the moment I can't stand to be in the same room as the same person apart of the family that made ME a slave." He glared back at Weiss who actually seemed surprised.

Setsuna: "Akito-"

Akito: "Don't follow me, Setsuna. Stay with Ruby and Yang. I need to cool off... That's an order."

And with that, he left the room without another word. Setsuna stared, her hand reaching out towards him before she snarled as her Ice Wolf Claws formed on her hands and she lunged at Weiss, growling and yelling in fury, only for Yang to catch her and stop her.

Yang: "Setsu! Calm down, girl!" She grunted as she struggled to keep the Arctic Wolf at bay. Ruby looked at them, then at Weiss frowning as she saw the white-haired girl look away.

Meanwhile outside, Blake slowly came to a halt in front of the statue in the courtyard of the school, with a sadden expression on her face. Then she slowly reached for her bow, and undid it, revealing two black cat ears. Suddenly, she heard footsteps approaching her, causing her to react as she unsheathed Gambol Shroud. However, she was relieved to see it was Akito, who had his hands up.

Akito: "Relax... It's just me kitty.." She unequipped her weapon before running to him and leaping into his arms, hugging him. He was taken by surprise but hugged her back.

Blake: *muffled* "Why...?" She asked, burying her face into his shoulder. Akito just sighed.

Akito: "I'm asking myself that right now... But they were bound to find out eventually... and I'll stick by your side, no matter what. I promise.."

Blake: "A-Akito..." She slightly stumbled on her words, mainly due to her holding the urge to cry before...

???: "How touching." Both Faunus pulled away from each other and looked around before spotting the same Monkey boy standing on a lamp post.

Blake: "You... You're that monkey Faunus from the boat..!"

???: "Name's Sun, Kitty Cat." He said with a smile as he bowed before the two of them.

Akito (Exia): "Don't make me pull the trigger, Roman. Get out of the damned Bullhead!"

Roman: "Or what, Wolfie? You gonna shoot me?" He taunted.

Akito growled before pulling the trigger, firing off a shot that was meant to just hit the floor next to him. However, suddenly a white blur appeared right in front of Roman, blocking the shot with what looked like a green Beam Shield. The smoke from the impact cleared, revealing a sleek white, blue and red with golden accents. Exosuit that seemed strangely proportioned but was keeping itself in the air via thrusters in the back. Akito, immediately recognizing the Exosuit, widened his eyes underneath Exia's helmet.

Akito's thoughts: "The Eclipse Gundam?? But why is it..."
