Prologue

Centuries ago, there were no cell phones, skyscrapers, and teenagers partying. Instead, there were Kingdoms. There were many powerful kingdoms that rivaled against eachother. But there were two kingdoms that were the most powerful and the most rivaled. Those kingdoms were Kiyomizu and Atsui Hi. Kiyomizu was famous for it's crystal-clear ocean by the kingdom, it's forests, and it's bountiful minerals that can be found in the ocean. The royal family was known for having dark hair like the dark depths of the trenches and eyes varying with the different moods and forms the ocean gives off to the land. The king and queen was blessed with a 13 year old princess named Akari Yuna and a 6 year old prince named Akari Yuma. Ever since the kingdom first came to be, Kiyomizu has worshipped Mystique who often took the form of a turquoise hippocamus.

In the Atsui Kingdom, it was famous for it's warm yet windy climate, it's merchants, and it's produce. The royal family was given fire powers and was blessed with a son named Kurenai Shu. What made the royal family so interesting is that they look completely opposite to their rivaled kingdom, Kiyomizu.  They are known to have milky-white hair and eyes redder than the most vibrant of vida flowers.  And ever since ancient scrolls and texts came to be, Atsui has worshipped the God Spryzen.

In the Atsui Kingdom:
It was a sunny morning Shu was sleeping on his king-sized bed in his crimson colored bedroom.  The soft breeze blew gently through the opened windows.  His butler entered the room and began waking up the 13 year old prince. Since Shu was never a morning person, it was a difficult job getting him to get up.  Honestly, the servants are getting more and more gray hairs doing so.
"Prince Shu, It's time to get ready. Your parents are waiting for you in the dining hall." Coaxed his butler.
"No let me sleep." The young prince said without moving a muscle.  The butler just let out a sigh as the young prince remained in the comforts of his own bed.  Then the butler got an idea that might possible intrigue him.
"Your Highness, I believe I heard the king and queen talking about a boarding school for young princes." Said his butler, smiling as he was certain that news would wake him up. With that news, Shu slowly got up and got dressed. He begrudgingly made his way out of his room and into the bustling castle, dodging servants as the rush by.  After few minutes of walking while half-asleep, he found the dining room and opened its doors.

"Good morning son." Said the king, watching his son enter the room and take a seat.  She then began piling his plate high with pancakes, eggs, sausages, and various other delicacies.  While filling up his plate, he then asked his parents "So, what sort of school was my butler talking about earlier?" he asked right before taking a bite of his food.  His parents shared a sly and knowing look that left the young albino prince clueless.
"There is this school for princes that teaches you combat, literature, basic ruling, and many more vital lessons for heirs and children of commanders and generals." the queen said.  Now that set his curiosity ablaze.  He unconciously began leaning forward in anticipation of  more details of the school.
"Will I be attending it?" the prince asked with visible curiosity hope in his crimson eyes.  His parents just smiled  at his eagerness and replied
"You will, in fact you were invited to attend. You will leave tomorrow. " the king replied. The little albino boy quickly ate his breakfast, got up, and started packing.

In the Kiyomizu Kingdom:

The princess was up early as usual training with her powers.  The sky in shades of blue, purple, and pink from remnants of dawn in the sky.  The sun was getting hotter every minute, but her traning and concentration did not waver once.  She focused hard and created a trident made of water. She sent the trident flying through the hay dummy and was satisfied with the results.  Yuna kept thinking over and over that she must train harder.  She was to be the world's first warrior princess and she believed it would come in handy since Yuna was heir to the throne.  It was a difficult task because the future rulers are normally boys.  Well she was different and she was going to show them all.  She was about to float another dummy to the center of the court when she heard the loud voice of her brother, Yuma calling her.

"Yuna, Yuna! Mom and dad want to talk with you!" Said her brother, out of breath from all of the running. Yuna wanted to train some more, but decided she would talk to her parents.  She walked over to the bench and freshened up as much and as quickly as she can.  After that, she hesitantly began walking toward the gray-stoned castle to see her parents.  The place was lively as usual, but the maids were gossiping a little more eagerly than usual.  Not that they already weren't major gossipers, it was just different.  When she entered he parents' room, they had a serious expression on their faces.  The atmosphere in the air alone told her that something serious was in the discussion.  Yuna hesitantly went to the bed and sat down.  She looked at her parents and observed their facial expressions.  They did not look angry at all, but they looked serious.

"Yuna, we were thinking about sending you to a boarding school for a year so that they can help you sharpen your skills." said the queen with a kind voice, trying to calm her anxious child. Yuna was relieved that she wasn't in trouble, but was wondering why her parents were so serious.  She hardly ever sees them like this unless it's something important.  The thoughts just kept on flooding her head like a tidal wave, but she drowned out those thoughts and focused on the task in front of her.
"That's good news right? If it is, why do seem so... Tense?" Yuna asked, trying to stay calm. She was slightly on edge due to her 'condition'...  But enough of that topic.
Her parents just smiled at her and explained to her how it was a boarding school for young princes. Yuna was surprised by the news but understood since she was the only female heir in all the kingdoms. Once they were done with the discussion, she went to her bedroom and started packing her trunks. She changed into a crystal-blue sparkly dress up to her knees and a simple sea-green gemstone tiara made of crystals. Her sea-green eyes looked out in the distance and hoped that she would make friends.  SHe watched the waves rise and fall, the tides go forward and back.  She breathed in the familiar salty aroma of her ocean home.  The only place she has ever been in.  She has never truly been out of the kingdom because of her 'condition', so she feels like an outcast.  But deep in that fragile, barriered heart of hers lay a wild fiery spirit longing to see the world.  At least... Once...
