I just thought about something while watching TFA for like the 100th time lol okay we all know Luke isn't Rey's father .. But .... What if Rey's real parents left her in Jakku to protect her from the first order because they knew Rey was strong in the force ?

Like Anakin, he  never went back to Tatooine because he hated the sand  so what if it was the same thing with Rey ? Her parents probably figured they wouldn't go searching for her there .
I think Rey as a child found out about the force and that's why her parents decided to leave her in Jakku.

Another thing

I don't think Rey and Kylo were both  being trained by Luke because Rey thought Luke was a myth.. So I don't really think Rey was ever being trained by Luke .
But that's just my opinion .
When kylo met Rey he didn't even recognize her so yeah I don't think they met before till the day he captured her .

Also I think Rey's parents must have been someone of great importance , by the look of the ship they were on ,

Also  when Maz told her they weren't coming back for her if was because they were either killed by the first order or they just simply vanished  to keep Rey safe .

Maybe someone already thought about this  but it just popped in to my head like a few hours ago XD
