It been 2 years since I went to Jedi mode, left that behind, then my father died, peacefully. Poe and I took it hard really hard. All we did to make them proud was to become Pilots. I let the whole Jedi thing go, I didnt really thought about it. Ive been busy with Poe for pilot training and going on assignments for General Leia. I left that jedi stuff behind me, but when going on missions, i do carry my lightsaber, just for emergencies only. Poe and I are now Commanders for the Resistance. Which we are really proud of.

"Welcome home." Poe said through the radio as we landed at base.

"Its good to be back." We had a mission to go to Mos Eisley Cantina to retrieve a piece of information about the First Order. I jumped off my jet and saw everyone coming in. BB-8 rolled to my side as i waved to everyone. Poe came to my side, we hugged.

"Remember General wants to talk to us in a few minutes." He reminds me.

"Yeah, ill meet you there." I looked down at BB-8. "Go with Poe, he'll help you get cleaned up, i wont be gone too long." I kneeled down. He nodded and followed Poe.

"Hera!" I rolled my eyes, it was Rex. Ever since he graduated from Lukes training, and me not being with Ben, he came to base, as a nurse. Every damn time he would try to get me to go out with him but i make an excuse every time. Hes not a bad person, its just he isn't the one for me.

"Hey Rex."

"How was Mos Eisley Cantina?" He leaned against my jet as if he owned it. Dont get angry Hera, just finish the conversation and you can leave.

"It was fine, lets say its not a place for a girl like me." He laughed. I gave him a face.

"Oh you were serious." I nodded my head. "Listen, i was thinking, we should work together, we would make a hell of a team." I closed the door from my jet.

"Ill think about it." I walked away. He followed me again.

"Hera, its not a bad idea."

"Yeah, its just- ill keep it in mind." He stood in front of me.

"May I?" He pushed a piece of hair behind my hair. I cough from behind uncomfortable and then I felt a presence. I looked around and saw nothing. Ever since I came back, I had the same presence every time. I saw a tall man walking away as i started to look away, i was drawn to him.

"Excuse me." I tried following him but i was too far to keep up.

"Hera, come on, General Organa is waiting." I nodded. I walked with Poe. "Whats going on?"

"I felt something, more like someone."

"Do you know who?" We talked as we walked into the base.

"No. Every time i try to go after him, hes gone."

"Do you think its-"

"No! He's still at the temple, thats what Han told me." I turned around, knowing the name he was going to say.

"Poe, Hera, thank god you guys are home." Leia gave us hugs as we saw her. "What did you guys get?"

"As we were at The Cantina, we got that the first order has been looking for a new leader." Everyone gasps as Poe explained.

"They said they have found the right one. Hes darker and evil. He's powerful, following the footsteps of Darth Vader. The first order will be coming back." I added. Everyone couldn't believe it.

"We need to prepare then." General Organa commanded. "Thank you Poe and Hera, i dont know what ill do without you." We both smiled at her.

"Anything for you General Organa." I said.

"Oh please Hera, how many times did i tell you, you can call me Leia."

"Im sorry."

"Dont be." We left the base and sat outside. Poe and I ate our food as BB-8 started to sing. I took off my uniform, revealing my black top, tying the sleeves of the uniform around my waist. I was sunbathing, just closing my eyes.

"You going to eat that?" He pointed at my leftovers.

"Go crazy." He shrugs and digs in. "Whats our next mission?"

"General hasn't said anything yet. Might as well relax because im tired."

"How did mom and dad do this?"

"They're mom and dad, they can do anything." I chuckled. He was right. "What are you going to do today? Hang with friends?"

"I have no friends. Im probably just going to stay in my room and read." I had one, Jules, i havent heard of her since i left. Poe looks at me. "What?"

"All you do is stay in your room. Go out, have fun. I hear Rex is a nice guy." I rolled my eyes.

"Reading is fun."

"Whatever you say." He gets up and rubs my head. BB-8 followed me to my room. I locked myself in and started to put away my things. I pulled my lightsaber from my side and placed it on my nightstand. I kept looking at it. I shook my head and grabbed a book to read. I stayed up all night reading, but then crashed as i was drained from the mission. I was dreaming, it was nice, me running around the garden with, Ben. Why did i have to leave? I should've stayed. Just a few more months, years. I woke up from my thoughts and just sat on my bed. Thinking about Ben. I couldn't stop. Ever since i came here, i havent heard of him, or maybe he just didnt want me hear from him. I need to tell Leia, who has been there for me when talking about whats in my head.

"Ill be back BB-8." I told him as i put on my shoes. He stayed still. I walked to the base where Leia was still there. I walked in and saw everyone sad. Worried about something. I walked up to Leia. "whats going on?" I asked her. I saw her tears.

"Lukes Temple was burned to the ground. Ben destroyed it." My heart sunk. I looked away and tried not to cry.

"Ben? Why would he do that? Where is he?" I still cared.

"Theres no sign of him."

"If he survived, He couldn't go too far, we can-" I explained to them. Han places his hands on my shoulders.

"Ben's not coming back. The dark side took him." I gasped. "There's nothing we can do Hera. Snoke won him over." I nodded as I slipped from his grip. I walked out of base and cried. Only if i paid attention, he would still be here. But why would he do it? I sat on the steps, crying my eyes out.

"Im taking a guess you heard the news." Poe said as he sat next to me. "Its not your fault Hera. I overheard that Ben was having some problems. Kept hearing voices. There was nothing you could've done."

"I know. He told me. Only if I didnt leave-" i sighed "i heard those voices. I didnt help."

"Dont put this on yourself. This was his choice." I nodded. He gave me a side hug. "After all these years, you still love him."

"I never said i stopped." I touched the necklace Ben gave me years before.
