"I would love to see the Falcon." I said as i looked at Ben as we laid on his bed. "My father tells me so many stories."

"My dad tells me a lot of stuff about your father. Him literally saving my dads ass." We both laughed. I rolled on my stomach and placed my head on the palm of my hand. He laid on his back, one hand on his chest and the other playing around with mine. "The boys seems to like you." He told me.

"They aren't my type."

"Then who is?" I turned red. I couldn't tell him that I like him. I just shrugged. "You dont like anyone?"

"Well, There is this one guy." I playfully rolled my eyes.

"Really? Who is he?" I got close to him.

"Hes this really sweet guy." I touched his chest. Ben grabs my hand, stroking it.

"What if we started seeing each other? Speaking hypothetically."

"Hypothetically, i got to warn you, I'll break your heart." I looked up and down at him.

"I don't think that will be possible." Goosebumps all over my body. I felt this strong, feeling between us. It was just so powerful.

"Do you feel that?"

"Yeah." He sits up. We touched hands again. The feeling was so strong. Ben just laughs. "The force seems to draw us together."

"Im guessing its a good thing?"

"Yes. Yes it is." We held hands. we just sat there, feeling the strong force between us. It felt, relaxing in a way. I looked at Ben, who's smile turned to a frown. He pulled his hands away from mine.

"Everything okay?" I asked him. He rubbed his hands.

"Yeah." He nodded. There was a knock on the door and the doors slide open. Ben and I quickly stood up.

"Benny boy-." A man comes in. He stares at me. He walks up to me. "Im sorry, your name?"

"Hera." The man hummed. He grabs my hand and kisses it. I heard a scuff from Ben.

"Hera, it means queen." I nodded.

"I know, thats why my parents called me that." He still had my hand. "You must be?"

"Rex Spikes. Bens friend."Rex just looks at me. Deep in my eyes.

"Alright. Alright." Ben comes in. He takes Rex's hand away from mine.

"Its getting late, I should go to bed. You know, before Master Luke sees." I grabbed my lightsaber. "Goodnight Ben."

"Goodnight Hera." Rex waves. I awkwardly waved back.

"Night Hera." Ben said as I smiled, walking away to my room. I laid back in my bed. I saw the blue and purple star sky. I touched my hands, the ones that Ben held. I turned around and went to bed. I slowly opened my eyes as i heard soft knocks coming from my door. I quickly got dressed and opened the door to see Jules.

"Okay, news, everyone is talking about you being in Ben's room last night." I crossed my arms.

"Who? Who saw me?" I asked. Jules just shook her head. Rex.

"Hera, are you and Ben dating?" I dropped my arms to my side. I chuckled as I got nervous. "If Master Luke finds out, he's going to get furious. Jedis arent suppose to date."

"What! No! We're just friends!" I pointed out. We are. No lie. "Its a stupid rule anyways." I flopped down on my bed.

"You really like him huh?" I nodded.

"You should've felt what we felt Jules. The force between us. It was so powerful. Like we were meant for each other." I chuckled. "It felt so good." Jules just looks at me.

"The force is never wrong." I just smiled. Jules shortly left after as she needed to train. I was left alone in my room. I looked at my lightsaber, it was plain. It didnt seem to be mine. It did belong to Yaddle, but not me. I pulled some parts and began to work on my saber. I gathered up the tools and did some designs. I collected only black parts. It took me hours to finish. I placed the crystal in its place. I saw the hard work ive done. It was actually mine now. I pressed the button and the orange light came out. I swayed it left to right. Fits perfectly. I turned it off and placed it on my hip. Im proud of myself. Just me holding the handle in my hand didnt really seem right. Do I deserve this? I came here to control it, not become a jedi. Am I ready to do this? Do i even belong here? I heard a knock on the door, i opened to see Master Luke.

"Hera, im glad you're still awake. Come, i want to show you something." I walked out of my room and walked with Master Luke to the temple.

"Master? May I ask you something?"

"Anything Hera."

"Who do I remind you? You told my father that I was like an old friend. Who?"

"Obi-Wan Kenobi. the force he had, was so much like yours." I was honored. Obi-Wan, cool. "Sit down, and just relax." I sat down, crossed my legs. I closed my eyes. "I've sensed something about you."

"Something good?"

"Shush." I eeked. I sat still for awhile. "Open your eyes." I slowly stood up. "Ive seen your future. Its a good one."

"What else?"

"You will come into trouble one too many times. But its not on accident. You showed yourself that you have hope. You have potential Hera."

"Then why do I feel like I don't belong here?"

"You're not used to this. A very good Jedi friend, his force flows through you, I have hope for you. You'll bring hope."

"How would you know I wont go to the dark side?" He laughs. He looks at me, he puts a hand on my shoulder.

"You have too much good in you." Master Luke smiles. "Your mother would be proud." I smiled as I remembered my late mother.

"She told me stories about you and her. You guys are really friends. You saved her." We both looked at the window. "She would thank you." I stood up all night, listening to the stories about him and my mother. He hoped for a good life for her, and he's glad that she did. I would also tell him how she used to take Poe and I on rides on her A-Wing, also me telling him that i want to become a pilot for the Resistance. Im glad that my mother is remembered.

A month later

I walked around the temple, taking my mind off of things. I wanted to be by myself. It was such a beautiful day. I took a seat on a bench by the lake, admiring the fish.

"This seat taken?" I looked up to see Ben. I gave him a wide smile.

"No, not at all." He sat down next to me. We both looked at the lake. But Ben looked at me. "Beautiful isn't?"

"Very." He coughed. "The lake? Oh yeah, its very calming." He nodded and i just smiled. "Hera, i got you something." I turned to him. He held out necklace. "I had my mother deliver it." The blue stone hanged from the chain. "Its man-made blue goldstone. One of a kind." I touched it.

"Ben, its beautiful." I gasped. It truly is eye catching.

"Like you." I started to turn red. "Maybe I?" I pulled my hair to the side. He places the necklace on my neck. The stone was just to beautiful. "Do you like it?"

"Like it? Ben, i love it." I hugged him. He places his hands on my back, hugging me tighter. "Thank you."

"Anything for you." I hugged him tighter. This man is the best. As we pulled away, we stared into each others eyes. The way Ben looked at me, i started to melt. He leaned in.

"I see that you like the gift." I bit my lip, trying not to laugh. It was Leia. Ben threw his head back.

"Mother." He sighed. Leia laughs.

Bens POV

Embarrassed. Thats all I can say. I had the perfect moment and here comes my mother. Clever. I didnt really mind though, she likes Hera. She thinks shes a nice, beautiful girl. Good thing right?

"Oh Hera, come, i want to tell you something." Hera gives me a smile as she walks up to my mom. They both walked away, my mom wrapped her arms around Hera. They were laughing. The sweet sound of their laughter made me feel happy. I walked behind them.

"Thats why you made your mother get the necklace?" My dad comes out from the side with Chewie.

"Maybe."

"She is a nice girl." My dad smiles. Chewie agrees. I shook my head, smiling. "Im not wrong. She's great for you."

"Shes just a friend."

"Keep telling yourself that kid."

"Uncle Luke would forbid it too, jedis cant date."

"Says who?"

"The jedi code."

"Screw the code, if you like her, dont let that stop you." I couldnt keep my eyes off of Hera. The way her black hair bounced as she walked, her smile warms me up, her eyes when the sun hits them, turning them into a soft honey brown. It just makes me want to kiss her, not let her go. Shes the only reason why I dont listen to the voices. When i saw her for the first time, she looked so beautiful, so shy, so small, so delicate. I never thought a woman would ever be so beautiful. Even though Jedi's aren't to date, im willing to break the rules, just to be with her.
