Cherish walks towards the lab, recalling what senior Eva just said. It felt like a dream.

She was the only senior who always stood up for her. Although things between them became awkward, but she couldn't believe she was going back to the state.

She only came to drop her crest, no wonder she hadn't resumed, because she was always among the first to resume.

Not to forget she made her presence announced to Zara and Senior Xavier. She couldn't forget the shock on both faces.

So that was what Zara had been up to?

Zara had changed drastically in such a short period, she couldn't believe it was the same Zara she knew, because it wasn't.

She hears some giggles while she approaches the lab. Now she was stuck between the idea of going back or going in. She didn't want to get into trouble.

"Come on!"

She recognised the voice, it was Ashley's. That means he was in, although he had a company.

She walks slowly to the door, on getting there, she couldn't help but standstill, because of the sight she met.

"Stop!" The girl whose face she couldn't make out, says while she pushes Ashley playfully, meanwhile Ashley who settled between her legs, pecks her lips slowly.

This short gesture does hurt Cherish. She could feel her chest burning at that moment.

The fact she thought he really liked her all this while, did hurt her.

She liked him!

But it was obvious that was how he was with every girl, nothing special.

"What are you doing here?" A feminine voice asks. It was obvious who this question was directed to. She doesn't need to turn to any direction.

Now she recognised the girl, she was an SS2 student.

That moment she makes an eye contact with Ashley who was clearly surprised to see her.

That moment she decided to stay away from him, because he was clearly no good.

He was clearly a womaniser. She didn't know what he wanted with her.

That moment she recalled Senior Eva's words.

"He will only hurt you."

Although it's been a long she made that statement, it felt like she was right there telling her that.

"Sorry, I was on my way out." She says slowly, not breaking eye contact with Ashley.

Why would he tell her to come over here, when he knew this was what she was going to meet?

Geraldine stares at the sky, while the cool breeze graced her skin. She wasn't on duty this night, and it was the first official prep held for the term.

She had excused herself and gone to stay at the backyard of the senior secondary building.

She needed somewhere quiet, and there was no place better than this.

Staring into the sky, she tries to count the stars with her eyes, even though it was impossible. She did it anyway.

It was harmattan season, the weather was harsh to her skin. Even after she takes her time creaming her body properly, she still always turned out white, so she had now been forced to carry her cream wherever she was going to, but in a small container.

Feeling extremely cold, she turns around intending to head back to the classroom.

"Jeeeeeeeeeeessus Christ." She screams, meanwhile he stood in front of her like a statue not moving an inch. "Devil!" She calls him the name she always called him back then, especially when they went for the quiz competition. "What were you doing standing behind me like that, I almost had a heart attack, do you know my health condition?" Geraldine asks, meanwhile she noticed him smile, when she made her last statement.

A smile which sent chills into her body that moment, this was the second time he was smiling at her, and yes she was keeping count.

The Jayden she knew never smiled. He always had a serious look on his face, but the way he smiled at her, did send chills into her system.

"Sorry, you always act so tough, didnt know you could get scared," Jayden says slowly. 'Aww!" He groans when she punches his shoulder. "Jesus, you punch like a boy."

He looked shocked, while she felt satisfied.

"Really? I thought you were tough." She mocks. Meanwhile, he chuckles holding his arm.

"Also don't ask me what I am doing here!" She says now sitting on one of the stairs, she noticed him, walking down to where she sat, and sitting a bit further.
"Why are you here? It's prep time?" She asks slowly, not sparing him a glance.

"I don't feel like reading." He says slowly.

"You know." She suddenly stops, meanwhile she noticed he doesn't look up but keeps staring downwards. There was something she noticed, he was putting in a lot of energy to talk. "You aren't much of a talker right?" She asks slowly.

"It's a lot of work to me, but nobody understands." He responds honestly, meanwhile he still doesn't lookup.

"You and your siblings are very different." She blurts out without thinking it through. It was something she noticed.

Jewel was stuck up, Jayden was anything worse than the word stuck up, Jason was the only bubbly one.

"You are friends with Jason?" He suddenly asks.

"Yeah, he was kind of a troublesome prick before, but he is friendly though." She responds honestly, she noted Jayden nod his head slowly, like he was expecting something else.

"That's nice." He says.

"You both are pretty different, I have never seen either of you talking before." She says, because she noticed they were too distant to be triplets, besides brothers were always close, twins, triplets, quadruplets, they had special bonds.

"Everyone says that." He suddenly looks up to her, a look which made her very conscious. Especially the fact she was staring at those lips. It was just too perfect, memories of how kissing it felt like.

"You aren't as bad as I thought." She says. Now, this was she been honest. Besides, she wanted to get her mind of those kissable lips.

"Cherish!" Ashley blocks her way when he noticed she wanted to pretend like she hadn't noticed him and ignore him.

Seeing the number of students trooping out of the various halls, due to the fact prep was over, he pulls her to a corner, intending not to cause any drama, or any suspicion or rather gossips from fellow students.

He had been meaning to talk to her since she saw him a the junior in the lab. He wasn't expecting her then, neither did he want her to see what she saw.

With the look of things, he had ruined his chances with her yet again.

"Are you angry at me?" He asks straight to point.

She doesn't respond, only look away.

"Please look at me." He says, but she doesn't bulge. "Please, " He pleads, pulling her neck slowly in his direction. "I am sorry, it won't happen again." He explains, like he was apologising to his girlfriend.

The drama with Ukeme and Ekanem was enough for a day, he didn't want anyone with Cherish. Although he knew she wasn't going to talk about it, but something told him she was going to start avoiding him again, and he didn't want it.

Ukeme threw a stunt out there, and hands up to her, she was really a drama queen. He didn't know how she found out about Ekanem. But he had tried breaking it off with her, the day before resumption, and she refused to accept it, telling him, he must be joking, and they will talk about it when she got to school.

They didn't have the chance to talk, till the stunt she pulled. She even went as far as telling him, she would make sure she was going to deal with both him and Ekanem since he was dumping her because of Ekanem.

Ekanem who had shockingly dumped him, even before the holidays, so he couldn't understand how it got out. Things with Ekanem had come to a halt, when she told him, since he couldn't break up with Ukeme, she wasn't going to continue, besides she was scared of how Ukeme who react when she found out. She didn't want to lose their friendship, she valued it and had made a mistake and regretted hooking up with him in the first place.

He couldn't understand how Eva found out since she was the one who told Ukeme. He was just relieved he had gotten rid of Ukeme, but had stupidly chased Cherish away with his stupid act, the same day.

"Hey, " He emphasised on the word. "I am sorry." He apologizes. In the real sense, he knew he didn't owe her an apology, they weren't dating. But he wanted a chance but had already messed it up.

The fact she wasn't saying anything, made it more frustrating.

"Cherish!" He calls out pulling her to a more secluded place, now taking her by the waist, she doesn't fight it.

"It's late already, the hostel prefect will soon lock the hostel doors, " She says, he noticed she was trying to avoid eye contact with him.

"Okay, I will let you go, but just tell me you will talk to me." He says still holding her.

"You are always kissing different girls." She blurts out still not making an eye contact.

"It won't happen again." He says assuring her that moment, even though he knew deep down, he was lying.

She looks at his face like she was trying to read his mind or something

"You are participating in the tournament right?" She asks her voice very tiny.

"Yes!" He responds.

"You all are lodging or camping there?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes!" He responds.

"Oh, okay." She responds. He noticed, she sounded disappointed.

"But I was hoping." He pauses thinking it through. He didn't want to mess it up again. "Maybe you are going to give me a reply when I get back. No pressure." He says trying to clear the tension.

She doesn't respond, she only makes some movement which showed she wasn't comfortable with the position they wherein.

"I will walk you down to the hostel." He noted she wanted to disagree but later relaxed. He lets her go and pulls her cheek playfully. "Puff puff, is your forehead getting bigger." He chuckles, he noted she only smiled.

It's been long he referred to her by the nickname Ogor.

He took note of the fact time had run fast. Most students were already on their way to their various hostels, while he sat down with Geraldine talking about nothing in particular, they spent most of the time staring into the dark night and sky.

While he spent his time secretly observing her and stealing glances at her. He had followed her down there, without any reason.

Now he believed Leo had a point, he was interested in Geraldine. The first girl he was interested in, who wasn't Ivy.

He had grown to get used to not having Ivy around and thinking about her, which was very impossible in the beginning. These days a certain someone occupied his mind.

Was he lusting?

Because this madness started after she sent that picture of us. Before then he did think about her, but not this way. He admit, he did stalk her account, but it was out of curiosity or was he unknowingly interested in her back then?

That was impossible, she irritated him back then.

"It's late, let's start going to the hostel before it gets locked." She says slowly, meanwhile he found himself staring at her lips unconsciously.

"Jayden..., "

He doesn't get to hear what she wanted to say, because he had shut her up with a his lips.

Her lips were warm and soft. They parted slightly, allowing his tongue to slip inside.

Their bodies pressed together heatedly against the wall, breathing heavily as their lips pressed together.

Jayden could taste their shared breath, feel the thud of their combined heartbeat.

Her lips were soft, almost silken, and pillowy against his, he could feel the soft tickle of her breath beneath his nose, fingers carding through her hair as they breathed each other in.

Warmth blossomed in Jayden's chest, sparks igniting as Geraldine leaned in close, lips brushing together, tentatively, for the first time. The smell of her perfume, of the soft, peachy scent of her conditioner, was dizzying, But warmth consumed her as she leaned into the kiss, Jayden's lips impossibly soft against her own.

Suddenly she breaks the kiss.

Jayden turns around and finds her face, and her mouth was already waiting like a question. She looked very much shocked.

Captain!" The coach calls out, meanwhile Jason looks up, catching gleams of Nathan and their coach.

He couldn't tell what they were about to talk about, but he knew it was for the betterment of the team.

They had gone too far in this competition, and he didn't expect them to lose. Every coach would have high expectations of their team.

As for him, he had been holding a certain grudge towards Nathan, he only hoped it wouldn't become a hindrance during the game.

"Okay boys, one last piece of information before our trip, make us proud." Mr Austin, their coach says.

Most of his teammates starts hailing themselves and the couch, meanwhile Jason keeps his cool.

His friends didn't qualify to go for the semi-finals and finals. Mr Austin had handpicked them with the help of Nathan. And Jason felt he didn't do justice to it.

To him, he didn't pick the bests. But a coach knows his players, and how well they could play, he hoped it was it this time.

"We should be happy the competition wasn't cancelled due to the pandemic which is rising." The couch says, meanwhile Jason stares back at him.

The outburst of the virus, Covid 19, was spreading like wildfire, and rumours had been going on for a few days, that government were going to bound some social gatherings.

At first, Jason hadn't taken the outbreak seriously, especially during the holidays, but it was seriously getting the attention of people.

Immediately she sights him walking out of the court, Jewel takes a deep breath, fully aware he was going to take that direction she was in, at silently prayed he wasn't with his friends.

To think God answered her prayer, she watches him head in her direction without noticing her presence.

She had watched him practice and to think she felt proud at some point that she was his girlfriend. She only secretly hoped, he wasn't mad at her, like she suspected. Because he had been acting weirdly.

"Nathan." She calls out immediately he got a few steps closer to her. She didn't miss the shocked expression on his face, he wasn't expecting her.

"Hey." He calls out slowly.

"Can we talk?" She asks gently.

"Hey, b! So sorry can't now running errands for the coach, really stressed with the plans for the tournament." He says slowly.

This did hurt her feeling, but she tries had to hide it.

"No problem, good luck with the game." She says forcing out a smile.

"Thanks, J!" He says patting her on the back before he starts walking away, meanwhile she turns in his direction, biting her lower lips.

Nathan had changed, he wasn't as sweet as he used to be, and she didn't want to accept that, you were ready to take things seriously with him, she was scared of losing him. She wanted to be his only girl.

Immediately he sights her, he does the reverse of what he had been doing for some time. He approaches her, instead of avoiding her.

"Jason!" Geraldine calls out.

It was obvious that she looked surprised to see him. She wasn't expecting him at all.

"Hey!" He smiles at her.

"Where are you off to?" She asks leaning on the wall.

"Matrons office." She responds sharply. "Need to run an errand for her."

"Oh, okay!" He responds.

"See you later." She smiles, she attempts to walk away but stops.

"Good luck on the competition." She smiles.

"Thanks." He responds smiling too.
"Hope you will come to cheer us on the finals?" He asks with a smile, even though they hadn't even gotten to the finals, he had a strong zeal they would.

"You guys haven't gotten to the finals yet." She smiles more like she read his mind.

That moment he realized he missed that beauty.

Jewel bites her nails hastily, immediately she realised everyone had left the classroom for lunch break.

The fear of being pregnant had been eating her up, and she couldn't stay quiet anymore, she needed to talk to someone, but there was no one to confide in. Now she misses Geraldine more than ever.

"What is wrong with you?" He asks staring into those big brown eyes. He didn't miss how tensed she looked.
"Why are you shaking?" He asks. That was when she realized Leo was in the classroom and seated right next to her, and also the fact she was shaking.

"I think I am pregnant." She blurts out without thinking.

She didn't miss the shock on his face, while trying hard to avoid being seen with him, by other students.

"How?" He asked calmly, now the look he was giving her, made her want to meet at the same time scream at him.

"What do you mean by how?" She asks slowly, her voice very tiny. "I missed my..., "

"How many days late?" He asks in a calm tone.

"Shey, you are acting like this doesn't concern you." She asks feeling irritated by how calm he was.

"How na?" He asks. "Because it's not possible, I know what I did, you are just overthinking it." He says flatly, meanwhile she chuckles.

"My mum will kill me." She says, looking like she was going to cry that moment.

"There is no way you could be pregnant, unless you are..., "

"Better just shut up. If I am pregnant it's on you, because I haven't done anything with him." She says hisses at the same time tapping her fingers.

She didn't miss the look of satisfaction on his face, which was replaced with a confused look.

"Fine, call in sick." He says. The look she gave him that moment, if only eyes were guns.

"If my Mum set her eyes on me, there is no way she won't tell, have you forgotten who she is?"

"And I said, you aren't pregnant?"

"As a doctor or what?" She yells.

"We need to run the test..., a urine!"

"I don't know how to do it." She says flatly. Not missing the confusion on his face.

"We can get the test strip from a pharmacy..., "

"Who is the we? How do you expect me to go into a pharmacy to ask for a pregnancy test strip?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. "I cant oh."

"God! Why are you this difficult?" He asks.
"Call in sick and I would do the same."

"One look at me, from my Mum, I am dead." She says like she was almost crying.

"Now what do you want me to do?" He asks, already frustrated, he didnt miss the look she gave him.

"I can't believe my life is finally over. God, I can't be making the same mistake my..., "

"God, chill. You are just being paranoid." He says giving her a look.

"Paranoid abi? Hope you know this isn't a Nigerian film?" She asks with a raised eyebrow. "Look..., " She suddenly stops, immediately she noticed a third party enter the classroom.

She watches the 3rd party slowly, like she could see through her. She didn't miss the irritating look, she threw on her, before walking out.

"God, this can't be happening to me. God, please don't give my enemies reasons to laugh at me." She says dramatically, meanwhile he chuckles closer to her.

She slowly turns to him, the fact he wasn't taking what she said seriously, did get on her nerves.

"You aren't pregnant." She hated the way he sounded so calm. She could feel it.

"I can feel it." She blurts out, meanwhile he burst into laughter.

"Leo, you are fucking stupid." With that, she walks away. She could hear him call her back, but that wasn't her issue. The thought of really being pregnant almost made her burst into tears.

They make obvious eye contact.

That was the only words that rang in her head that night, up until now, she hadn't been able to forget how it felt. She was an amateur close to him and felt embarrassed about it. She only hope, she didn't disappoint him, with the way she kissed back.

It was even difficult, because at first she was in shock.

Now she didn't know if she was going to be able to ever look at his face, ever again, because she could just die of embarrassment and be shy.

She slowly turns to the left, to see if he was still there. Lo and behold, he had his eyes are her. She almost melted that instant.

Getting down from the bus, Ashley pulls his bag pack, alongside him, meanwhile there coach talks to some of the team's members at a corner, which didn't exclude Nathan and his friends.

He only observes the environment. The compound was very large, he noted different large buildings too, he knew there was a building where the competition will be held, although her hadn't seen it yet.

It also seemed like they even arrived late, because he could see some students dressed in other school uniforms. Although there were mostly girls.

They should be the cheer team. Although because of the way the school calendar was, and the fact they were preparing for WAEC, their cheer team was to join them later, they were more of Ss3 girls. It was high time Ss2 students took over most responsibility. Although he knew it was the Ss3 girls themselves that weren't letting it happen.

The environment seemed very conducive, and with the rate of the females he was seeing, it was a sure thing, he and his friend were going to enjoy this tournament, even though others doesn't. This was the kind of atmosphere that pleased them. Especially with fresh girls around, who weren't their school mate.

Geraldine pulls her lunch closer, observing the meal closely. She was trying to detect uncooked onions. These days the cooks were feeding them rubbish.

To think their parents pay good money for this rubbish.

She suddenly looks up, when she heard Nengi's voice, only to see him in the company of Veronica, who was just laughing at whatever he was saying. It seemed like they were both enjoying the conversation because Nengi was also laughing.

She stares at him, hoping he would look towards her direction, where they always sat, but not too surprising he doesn't.

The question now was.

What did she do to Nengi?

She can't recall doing anything wrong, even before they went on vacation. At first, they weren't talking like before during vacation, she didn't read the meaning to it. But simply acting like he didn't see her, it was heartbreaking.

She suddenly tries the get up without thinking about what she wanted to do next
through.

"Where to?" Munachi asks holding a bottle of water.

"To talk to Nengi." She responds honestly.

"You sound thirsty, don't try that." Munachi suddenly says, taking her by surprise. "He simply started ignoring you, why should you try to talk to him? Look he would only ignore you again, and in front of that girl, it could be insulting." Munachi says, picking her fork.

"Nengi isn't like that." Geraldine defends.

"I don't even know, where you found such childish friends from. You can see he is with someone, don't go and make a fool out of yourself." Munachi says slowly, meanwhile Geraldine sits down.

But what did she do to Nengi?

Immediately she puts a spoonful of porridge into her mouth, she sights Jayden walking in with the new girl Ivy. She didn't know how to chew properly anymore, she suddenly felt shy.

Looking up, their eyes meet. He doesn't react as usual. She wasn't expecting him to, she had studied him, he rarely displayed any expression, no matter the situation.

It seems like he and Ivy were close to her, because of the way she was always all over him, even Jewel wasn't always all over him. It was obvious they were close. She had finally seen one person he was close to in his family.

Since the kiss, neither of them had spoken to each other. He hadn't even had the balls to try to talk to her. He was only watching from a distance.

She had walked into the classroom with that Munachi girl. The one who he noticed was always with her. It seemed like the other boy in their crew wasn't with them anymore, because he was always on his seat, obviously coming to see Veronica. Because they were always talking.

Unfortunately, he always had to occupy his seat, when he wasn't there. It was getting exhausting to always tell him to excuse his seat, whenever he came into the classroom.

He watched her flip her hair, staring at the board for a while, like she was memorising something, then back to her book.

She pulls her book away, taking her bag and dropping it on the desk. Meanwhile, he continues staring at her. She opens her bag back, he couldn't tell what she was doing. But after she was done with whatever she was doing. She drops her bag back and adjust on her chair properly.

"Jayden, " Someone calls with a hard push. He didn't need to look at the person to tell it was Leo. The last time he checked, he was supposed to be in his seat.

"Stop staring like that, it's becoming creepy, and someone might notice. Because it's becoming too obvious, do you want to eat her?" Leo asks sarcastically.

"I like her!" Jayden blurts out, when he realized what he had just said, he turns to Leo who looked stunned by what he just said. "I mean, I like her hair." He says the dumbest thing he could think of, meanwhile Leo burst into laughter.

Jayden looks left and right, hoping they weren't the centre of attention. The fact no one was currently on his seat, made it easier for them to communicate.

"Does that sound right to you?" Leo asks and chuckles. "If you like her, ask her out," Leo says bluntly.

"I haven't done that before, look at how it sounds easy coming out of your mouth," Jayden says, meanwhile Leo chuckles.

"There are different ways, you can just walk up to her and tell her you like her, and you want her to be your girlfriend. Or you write it down and pass it to her, which is childish though..., "

"Neither. I don't think I like her like that." Jayden agures. "It's just lust, I always fantasise about her body. The crazy part of it was the day I wanked with her picture." Jayden says in almost a whisper.

"Jayden!" Leo calls out stunned. "Guy you are on another level.

"She is just too boy to me, although she is fine, not arguing about that, but then..., " Leo suddenly stops talking when Veronics joins their seat, meanwhile Jayden adjust properly.

"Hey, " She says now picking her book, but not without giving Leo a suspicious look.

On getting to the cafe, Ashley walks alongside Nathan, Xavier and Dashline, to the counter. He couldn't tell where his other teammates were at the moment.

"Damn, look at her butt," Nathan emphasizes one of the girls from an opposing school.

Ashley didn't memorise the names of the other school, but there was one school in particular that he couldn't forget - and that was Thou Academy high school, short for TAHS!

Thou Academy High School was an elite school situated in Lagos, Nigeria. The other thing he memorized about the school, was their girls were hot, while for the other school, he hadn't seen more of their girls, but the ones he saw were more like a turn-off.

Nathan suddenly whistles, making Ashley and the rest of the boys chuckle.

"Just water!" Nathan says to the girl at the counter. Ashley caught him wink. She didn't seem that much older than Nathan, but he was sure she was older than him. But it was the courage for him, winking at a girl, even in his secondary school uniform. His friends never came last.

"Just look at the way her butt is popping out of her shorts." Nathan suddenly says and chuckles, not minding the girl that stood in front of them, all the fact they had company.

"Water!" A soft yet authoritative voice says from behind.

"Tayo, don't you want anything?" The same voice asks again, meanwhile Ashley watches the girl at the counter stretch her hand

"Coffee too!" Nathan suddenly orders, while checking the girl out.
Meanwhile, Ashley observes the environment.

Nathan suddenly hands a credit card which obviously belongs to the school to the girl, who just smiles and takes it. In a few minutes, she hands the card back to Nathan.

"Who is ready to place a bet? I am getting that girl's number now." Nathan says, meanwhile Ashley smiles because he would never change.

"Like Jewel, " Dashlin chuckles. It was obvious he was mocking Nathan who ignore him, and tells Ashley to move out of his way, meanwhile Dashline and the boys burst into laughter, making him turn around to flip a middle finger, turning around, he hits something or rather someone, spilling the coffee not just on the floor, but the person's entire body.

He looks up immediately, they were both almost the same height, so they both make direct eye contact. The boy in question, who Ashley noted was fair-skinned and he noticed his deep brown eyes because of the way they shot daggers at Nathan, and he was not smiling at all.

What the boy does next, shocks Ashley to the bones. He punches Nathan in the face without hesitation.

"Are you blind? Why did you spill that on me?" He yells. Meanwhile, Ashley didn't miss the shock on Nathan's face.

The minute Nathan punched back, they heard some girl's shout in the background. That was when it dawned on Ashley there was an audience apart from them, which was bad.

"Tayo!" Another boy, who was putting on the same uniform as the guy that had punched Nathan, calls out, going to their midst, and Ashley was quick to notice that the guy doesn't look Nigerian. Meanwhile, Xavier was already there, Ashley didn't even notice when he made it away from their position.

"What the hell, did you just hit me back?" The boy who Ashley had noted was Tayo asks, moving closer to Nathan.

"You must be an idiot, I will disfigure that face of yours, if you come closer to me," Nathan yells.

"Look at this nincompoop, you want to disfigure my face? I won't even bother wasting my punches on you, rather I'd get acid." Tayo says, jumping on Nathan, giving him another blow, also pushing the other guy in the process. "Wendell, get away from me. I need to teach this idiot a lesson, people need to know their place and learn to avoid me!" He yells.

Immediately Ashley noticed the boy was seriously out for more trouble, and he knew if nobody stopped him something serious could end up happening. And because of that, he jumps out of position, intending to get him off, Nathan.

This was getting serious because both boys were already dealing with each other on the floor. Ashley tries to pull Nathan, while Wendell tries to pull Tayo, with two other guys. That moment Ashley noticed Xavier wasn't even separating but was throwing punches on Tayo too, while Dashlin was pulling him away.

"Bastard," Xavier calls out jumping out.

Meanwhile, Ashley drags Nathan away. The fact this was a little misunderstanding which could have been sorted with just an apology, but ended up like this, did shock Ashley.

"Make a move already." Leo suddenly says, bringing Jayden out of his rivalries.

"Following your advice has caused enough already," Jayden says to Leo's hearing. He acknowledged the fact Leo was confused.

He ought to be. Leo didn't understand what he meant. But he had been considering everything Leo had been saying. It's been messing with his head.

"I kissed her, and things haven't been the same since then, today I inserted a letter into her notebook..., "

"Kiss?" Leo cuts him off pretty confused. "And hollup, how am I the cause of..., "

"Everything you have been saying," Jayden says cutting him off.

"Okay, wait!" Leo says now adjusting on his seat, meanwhile he throws one more glance on Geraldine, hoping she hadn't opened the notebook yet. Now he was regretting his action.

Mr John had given him her notebook to return. It wasn't enough he dumped it on her desk without saying a word to her, now he was regretting the sheet of paper he put into it.

"You kissed her, it's not bad," Leo says in almost a whisper. "I am proud of you, at least you made a move..., "

"And I stupidly did that rubbish you talked about, the childish stuff," Jayden says, meanwhile he watched Leo think for a moment.

"What childish stuff?" Leo asks.

"I wrote a letter apologising for the kiss," Jayden explains.

"Okay, why are you freaking out, it's ..., "

"Because I might have told her how I couldn't get her off my mind these few days. That I have been having sleepless nights." Jayden says, meanwhile Leo burst into laughter.

He watches him try to control his laughter.

"Really childish," Leo says admits laughing.

"And it's all your fault," Jayden says glaring at Leo.

"Has she seen it?" Leo suddenly asks.

"No," Jayden says suddenly thinking of an idea. "If you can just help me get it, the notebook is on her desk, I dont think she has read it yet." Jayden suddenly says, meanwhile Leo burst into laughter, this time loud enough to disturb the whole class. Some of their classmates steals a glance at him, probably wondering what was going on with him.

"You are influencing me negatively," Jayden says. That was the end Leo wanted to die of laughter at that moment.

Geraldine heads to down the stairs, her attention focused on the fact she was going to the prep hall.

She hadn't spoken to Jayden ever since the kiss, and she couldn't stop thinking about what happened.

The fact he hadn't even attempted to talk to her was heartbreaking. Although she didnt dare to confront him about it. Or was it going to be like the time she kissed him? Nothing said about it.

This was a huge thing for her. The boy she had been daydreaming about finally kisses her. It was just something, it meant something to her.

"Excuse me."

Geraldine moves immediately she heard this.

There was just something she noted while Jewel walked past her. She looked very pale. She couldn't help but wonder what was wrong with her.

"Jewel, please wait!" He emphasised on those words, but she doesn't stop. She keeps heading straight to the hostel.

"Ouch!" She yells when he pulls her back roughly. "Leo, will you stop? Cant you see I dont want to talk to you?" She demands shouting.

"Jewel, calm down, people are looking," Leo says calmly. That was when she realized, she had gone overboard. She stylishly looks left ane write, when she noticed her classmates weren't there, she pulled away from Leo's grip roughly.

"What is it?" She asks trying to be calm.

"I wanted to know what's up, isnt it out yet." He asks with concern.

"If it were, do you think I would be this miserable?" She asks hissing. "I am in this mess because of you, do me a favour of not showing your face to me at least." She says like she was going to burst into tears.

"Jewel, look at me!" He says taking her by the hand. "Trust me, I didnt ejaculate. Believe me when I say it, it was just one thrust...,"

"Then where is my period?" She demands, it sounded funny, the way she asked, but this wasn't the time for her to laugh overs joke.

"Jewel, it's because you are overthinking it. Besides you said I am the only one, if you are saying the...,"

"Are you calling me a lair, it hasn't been confirmed yet, and you are already denying it. You are a beast." Jewel says and burst into tears.

"Jesus, Jewel!" He calls out trying to hold her.

"Dont touch me, you are a beast." She says and starts walking away, trying to control her tears. And hoping no one could see her face properly, since the lights around the area she passed was dim.

And she hoped he didnt come after her, because he was going to get it from her, if he tried it.

Bumping into someone, she heard her yell.

"Are you stupid?" Ukeme says immediately they made eye contact.

She doesn't respond but walks away with just one prayer in mind.

God, please dont let me be pregnant, I promise I wouldn't indulge in bad stuff ever again.

She didnt miss the shocked expression on Ukeme's face when she didnt respond to her.
