And now, miscellaneous stuff!
Favourite Mario game: Mario Galaxy, and I prefer the first one. The game is amazing! Sunshine and Odyssey are both close seconds though.
Favourite Kirby game: Kirby's Epic Yarn. It's Kirby in a world made of yarn. Need I say more?
Favourite Animal Crossing game: New Leaf. It's reassuring and relaxing to always have my little town to come back to.
Favourite Zelda game: Link's Awakening. I've only played the Switch remaster, but the game was so charming and fun it did not take long for me to be won over. It's also the only Zelda game I've played that didn't make me feel just totally out of my element, which was nice!
Favourite Pokémon game: Pokémon White 2. My first Pokémon game and the best version of the anime in my opinion. Pokémon X is pretty close though.
Favourite Fossil Fighters game: Fossil Fighters Champions. I know this game inside and out I've replayed it so much. The series in general is criminally underrated.
Favourite Paper Mario game: Super Paper Mario. Everyone seems to like Thousand Year Door better, but I haven't played that one, so I like this one best. Really good story and solid mechanics.
Favourite RPG: Stella Glow. It's just so adorable and I love the characters. Plus I like that it manages to have a lot of mechanics without being overwhelming.
Favourite non-Mario platformer: Psychonauts. Please play this game if you haven't, it's a trip but like in a really fun way. And if you're at all interested in mental health stuff you'll probably really like it.
Favourite racing game: Mario Kart Wii. No other racing game has managed to create more fun memories than this particular title.
Favourite sandbox game: Minecraft. It's changed a lot, but at its core I think it's kept the things that make it really work.
Favourite horror game: Five Nights at Freddy's. I usually don't like horror games, but I like the story and the animatronics don't scare me.
Favourite non-Animal Crossing life simulator: Stardew Valley or Spiritfarer. I honestly can't decide which of these beautiful games I enjoy more.
Favourite colour: I have a fondness for cinnamon tones, yellows, this very specific shade of blue, lavender, and really just any autumn-inspired colour palette.
Favourite food: This specific vegetarian stuffing my mom found a recipe for. I don't remember what it's called but like, if for some reason our first date involved me cooking for you, I think I would make it.
Favourite drink: A Shirley Temple. It's like pink Sprite basically but sweeter and sometimes there's a cherry in it!
Favourite song: Piano Man by Billy Joel. I know all the words and just really enjoy this one.
Favourite music genre: Rock, and yes, the heavy kind that makes you wanna headbang! I'm also quite fond of depressing music for some reason, but I also enjoy a cheesy love song just as much. Video game soundtracks are also nice.
Favourite show: Toss-up between Gravity Falls, Over the Garden Wall, and Invader Zim.
Favourite movie: The Nightmare Before Christmas! I watch it every Halloween.
Favourite book series: Well, I obviously love Warriors, and it's probably that. But Fablehaven is also very good, I was way into Percy Jackson for a while, and Bunnicula I have a soft spot for since that was a major part of my childhood. Redwall is like a more sophisticated Warriors, which may be why that's up there as well.
Favourite book: Fangirl or Carry On by Rainbow Rowel, In Other Lands by Sarah Rees Brennan, or All the Birds in the Sky by Charlie Jane Anders.
Favourite activity: Toss-up between writing, playing video games, and reading.
Favourite sport: Swimming! Not like, professionally, I don't exercise much. I also enjoy playing table tennis sometimes.
Favourite board game: Munchkin! It's a really great cooperative game to play with family or friends.
Favourite card game: As much as I love playing mafia with my friends, I'm gonna have to say probably Solitaire. It's weirdly therapeutic.
Favourite place: Home, preferably relaxing on the couch and watching something with the family while we eat dinner.
Favourite subject: Is anyone surprised by the fact that it's literature? Psychology is great too though and philosophy or history isn't too bad.
Favourite animal: Bats! I know people think they're creepy, but I think they're adorable!
Favourite flower: Dandelions. I love blowing on them and growing a bunch more when I see one.
Favourite manga series: Chi's Sweet Home. It's a cute story about a kitten. Youtsuba is super cute as well.
Favourite pizza type: Hawaiian! Don't tell me pineapple doesn't belong on pizza, I've heard it all before.
----------------------
Well, that's every category of favourites I can think of! I hope you enjoyed, and I'd love to hear some favourite things of yours in the comments~
