With Harry and Ila walking right ahead, Hagrid was busy asking Sunita more about Ila and her life.

" So where is yer husband? " He asked, his hair flying behind him as they walked with fast strides to keep up with the children.

" Oh.. I don't know... " Sunita trailed off, clearly not in a mood to continue the conversation, as it is, her daughter had said enough.

" But it has to be hard? Raising your daughter on your own, especially when she seems to be a headstrong young lady? " He replied, as they walked up to the goblins.

" Yes, but every time I look at her, I see him and it's enough for me to go on. " She smiled, observing as her daughter stood by the new boy.

The building was white. It was too white for Ila's taste as the sunlight blinded her eyes, the marble casting sharp reflections.

There were columns of tall, incredibly tall counters, especially for the young mages as they slowly looked at their guardians for help.

" Griphook! " Hagrid called cheerfully. The goblin walked out.

Ila had to hold in a tiny giggle.

He was so short, but his eyes, his eyes were sharp, calculating. He looked at them with mild disdain. His teeth were razor sharp, as if all of them canines.

" Didn't you just pick your package Hagrid? Why are you here? " He asked, clambering over to his counter, staring down at them all.

" We need a vault. " Hagrid replied and Griphook sneered, " What number? "

" Oh no, " Her mother stepped in, " It's.. Oh. Uh.. It's a new.. Account-vault. A new vault. My daughter is.. What did you say Hagrid? A half blood. Yes, we would like an account for her name? "

" What's her father's name then? " Griphook asked, already bored.

" Why does he ask mum? " Ila whispered, when Harry pulled her aside.

" Well, if your father was a wizard, he must have left some money for you, wouldn't he? " He told her kindly and she nodded in understanding.

" Oh.. Uh.. He went by.. Evan Sinclair. He said that's his name.. Unusual isn't it? " Ila's mother said nervously.

" Sinclair? Are you sure? " Griphook asked, further annoyed as he opened a huge book. It contained the list of names and vaults. Some hidden, some visible.

" Hmm, ah, here.. Oh no that's someone else. " Then he stared at Sunita.

" I'm sorry madam, but there is no mention of a Sinclair here. Are you sure that's his name? " He asked and Ila's mother frowned.

" I - well, that's what he told me. But I do have a photograph of him.. Ila, do you have it on you darling? " Her mother asked.

Ila frantically rummaged through her pockets and her bag, turning up empty handed.

" No mum, but sir, " She said to Griphook, " I'll come around later sometime and show you his photograph, maybe you could identify him from it? " She said.

Griphook huffed and then nodded.

" Alright, but now, you would need a new vault. And I don't have a lot of time. So quick. " He droned as her mother and Hagrid handled the finances.

" So Harry, if not your parents, who do you live with? " She asked, as the two kids sat on the stairs, waiting for their parents.

" Well, I have my Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon. They have a son named Dudley. " He visibly cringed as he spoke more in detail of them.

" I'm really sorry about your parents. Must have been hard to know they didn't die as you were told, not that it's any better oh.. I don't know what I am saying. I -uh.. I'm sorry. " Ila his her face in her hands, embarrassment flooding her soul.

Harry laughed softly, poking her shoulder. " It's fine. You were kind enough to ask, that's okay. Just.. Keep it under the wraps if you meet someone, alright? " He said and she mimed zipping her lips.

" Shall we then Ila? " Her mother asked as they walked over to the kids.

" I have to get back, Harry and I have a job to do -"

" Mum, can Harry stay with us! We'll drop him home, won't we? " Ila pleaded and her mother sighed.

" But dear, he has to live with his family. " She said.

Ila shook her head, then smiled,
"Mum? What if we just take him home for dinner.. You said it yourself, he is hungry and is in desperate need of food. Plus, Dal Chawal, is a cureall. " She looked at her mother with pleading eyes.

The mother in Sunita's heart melted as she stared at her little girl and the boy next to her.

" Alright, well, if Harry wants to, we don't mind, do we? Since we still have a lot of shopping to carry out. " She said and Harry nodded eagerly.

" Well then, I'll leave you to it. Stay safe 'arry! I'll meet you in 'ogwarts! " Hagrid waved a goodbye as he left.

" Well, it's time to buy a wand. " Harry said and Ila laughed.

The pair walked out of the bank, moving towards the wand shop.

From the moment she entered the shop, Ila could feel the brilliance of energy and it's power in the shop. The shop, it was as if it hummed of power.

It was old, truly embodying an old world charm. The shop was dimly lit, with the primary focus on the towering shelves against the walls.

In these shelves, Ila could see lomg, slender boxes. She assumed they held wands.

" Ah, a new student, a fresh hand for the wand to claim. " An old voice called.

Ollivander walked out to the front of the shop. He had misty grey eyes which pierced into one's soul, he had a thin frame, as if barely held up by his clothes. He was dressed in a simple garb. He had the aura of wisdom.

" Hi Mr. Ollivander. This is Ila.. She'd like a new wand? " Harry spoke for her as they stood close by in the shop. Her mother's perfume soothed her nerves after the entire chaotic day.

" Oh of course, why not. However, miss, you must know, the wand chooses the wizard. You must let the wand decide if it suits you. Alright? " He said, his eyes reminded Ila of the strongest of storms yet the gentleness of the shining moon.

" Yes sir. " She answered.

Ollivander smiled, he pulled out four of those slender boxes, each had intricate designs on it.

" Well, you take the wand and give it a swish, do you understand dear? " He asked her gently and she nodded.

Her hands shook in anticipation.

Behind her, Harry whispered, " It's alright.. Just take it. "

It made Ila think how much he knew about the world, when both she and her lived similar lives, away from magic. She was glad to have him here.

So she took the wand, swishing it and she lights in the shop went out with a spark. She dropped the wand with a screech as Ollivander laughed heartily.

" Well my lady, this isn't for you, why not try this. " He offered her another, as he pulled the lights back on.

" Are you sure sir? " She asked and realised it was probably worthless to ask. He was old and he looked pretty sure of what he was doing.

But he gave her a confident nod.

However, this wand too failed, as it sparked low, lighting an old paper on fire.

" Oh! " She said, but gently laid the wand down this time.

" Alright, try this one. " He offered her a last wand.

She had a good feeling of this one, it hummed with power as he settled it into her hands.

The wand glowed softly, then increasing in intensity till it shine as bright as it could, yet it didn't hurt her eyes, while both her mother and Harry shrouded their eyes.

Ollivander on the other hand, he stared at her curiously.

" Acacia wood. A finicky wand I must say. It holds its best power for its owner and often can't even be used by others. Very few people have had these wands before. However, it contrasts with the Unicorn core, which is stable, steady. It would give you consistent magic. But it also proves how your wand is a faithful one, it'll never turn against you and even let you perform any of the dark arts. It is quite a long wand for you, 11¼ inches, but it should aid you well in duels. Especially with how flexible it is. But I'm glad you found your wand. " He said warmly.

She smiled, holding the wand in her hand with care.

" Thank you sir. " She and Harry thanked him, walking out.

" So, what next do you think Harry?" Ila's mother asked.

" Well, I'd say get the books, but they'll be too heavy to carry around. Why not go and get an owl? Or any pet. You could take it to Hogwarts. " He suggested.

Ila cringed at the mere thought of being near owls, but Hedwig didn't seem that bad, in fact she was adorable.

Maybe Apollo was the one who had a bad attitude.

With that, they walked into Eeylops Owlery.

Why's Ila's wand so special?

Who are the others who have it?

Also, all the information I have on the wand is from potterworld.com.

The wand Ila is using is the one I got after their quiz.

If any would like to check it out, let's discuss what wands you got! ♥
