Hope my Cutie's are all fit & fine😚and as for this supeeerrrrr late update.....!!

Let's just say in these past few days a lot of unpleasant & unwanted things happened with me & my family, we lost some dearest peoples & so on...*sighing*
But let's just move ahead with the story for now & don't kill me for the chapter*pehle se hi bol rahi hu*😁

Avni was literally beaming while walking when suddenly someone collides with her, she looks up in utter annoyance but gets flabbergasted seeing the person standing in front of her................

"Tum yaha....!! What are you doing here??"~Avni quizzed wiggling her brows together

There stood Neil Khanna in all his glory who was as much astounded as Avni but he was quick to mask it with a plain face.....

Neil was talking with the doctor while coming out of the cabin & in the mean time Avni came ploughing into him.

He gave a brief nod instead of answering to Avni's question with the same straight face, questioning her himself...."You should be at home right now, what are you doing here?!"

He leers at her waiting for her reply but she just rolled her eyes....."Didn't I asked first!! So I deserve to know the answer first"~Neil clenched his jaw & turns his head sideways extending his hand a little towards the doctor who was standing right behind him,, Avni looks up inquisitively....

Getting the kinesics doctor hands Neil a hospital file & left them alone, Avni frowns...."My answer is long,, yours must be short so speak up"—Avni huffs in resentment & pendulous the small red bag in front of him

"Isn't it obvious,, I came here to meet & give this to Mumma"~she replies in duh tone rolling her eyes once again in the process....

"At this time!!?"—Neil frowns looking at the watch on his wrist...."You could've come tomor.......actually scratch that go & meet, just be quick"~he steps back giving her way to walk off

Avni rolls her eyes yet again & walks towards her mother's cabin while Neil followed suit. Avni's face lits up as soon as she opens the door & smiles brightly at Neela-maa,,scooting closer to her Avni plants a soft kiss on her forehead caressing her hair lovingly.....

"Mumma how are you? Sorry I couldn't spend much time with you these past days(pouting) You know na college & exams..."—sighing she sits alongside Neela on the small spot on the bed without cognizing  Neil's occupancy behind her, on the doorstep

Neil folds his arms in front of his chest leaning against the door frame without making any sound......."Guess what Mumma,,my today's test was wondrous like, it went so smoothly,,,& lemme tell you the reason" —she said excitedly trying to whisper but Neill still heard her & looks at her back more inquiring, as to know the reason of her whispering

"I did well on the test bcz of that 'Arrogant-jerk"—she giggles making Neil frown)Oops I mean the great Neil Khanna"—she said in the same tone, Neil looks at her in hilarity while Avni continues with her talk, still not knowing Neil was hearing all of it.

"Rii & Amy forced me to take a new dress for tomorrow's holi party you know, even though I refused so many times(she huffs in irritation remembering how the make her buy the dress) Oh how silly of me,,I forgot to give you,,your holi gift sollyyy"—she bits her tongue cutely before shuffling through the red bag she carried earlier........"Yeah!there"—smiling widely she takes out a little antique coloured Ganesh idol,, "Gannujii for my beautiful Mumma"

Avni delicately placed the idol on the side table, in a immaculate corner....."Mumma Gannu ji will safeguard you in my truancy"—Neil fought the smile on his lips looking at the mother-daughter due,,,,caressing her cheek Avni intently looks at her face while Neil keeps looking at her ravishing smile, but slowly slowly her divine smile faded away making Neil frown in utter confusion.

'Just now she was all gleeful, chirpy,, gushing over her mother about everything. Now what happened suddenly?!!' —Neil thought

"Mumma(whispering softly) I don't like to see you like this. Here!! In this condition (her eyes began to water) It's very painful Mumma to see you like this, it's been almost 3 years now that you are laying like this, leaving me all alone behind, just like Papa did"—tears slowly makes their way down her rosy cheeks, Neil's heart squeezed unknowingly seeing her enunciating her pain out to her mother who unfortunately can't even give her a reassuring pat back.

'Why does I feel her pain?! It never happened before, even when she.........'—Neil immediately shakes his head refusing to think that.

His face became hard, eyes turned icy cold displaying zero emotion other than pure coldness & indignation. His body stiffed while his inside was boiling with rage, pure hatred.

He didn't want to remember HER, absolutely not now nor ever, Nah never!!

Clenching the file in his hand he clears his throat to gain Avni's attention. She snaps at him wiping the tears quickly....."Ne.........."—even before she could say anything, Neil beats her on it

"If you are done come, am waiting in the car"—he said coldly without looking in the eyes before dashing out of the hospital room unceremoniously.

Avni just keeps looking at way he leave blinking repeatedly. 'What just happened?!!'—Avni thought Cuz till now she never witnessed this much harsh behaviour from his side, not even on their first meet. Somewhere in her heart she didn't like it, at all!!

Avni finally turns towards Neela & forces a smile...."Mumma don't mind him, he's not like this. Neil must be stressed over work, you know billionaire's stuff huh(faking a chuckle she bends over & kissed Neela's forehead lovingly)He's good at heart. And yeah, I love you, will come soon to meet you"—with that she comes out of the hospital & saw Neil already sitting in the car with his laptop on his lap.

Driver comes ahead & opens the door for her, she thanked him smiling softly which he returned......"Umm...Where's DD??"—she asked sitting beside Neil nervously while his face was straight on the laptop screen

"He left."—he replied after awhile

"But my bags were with him"—she mumbles lowly though Neil heard it but he didn't say anything just keeps typing furiously.

The ride was filled with an unknown rigidity with the only sound of typing, Avni shifts on her seat uncomfortably as it's too much tensity for her & that's too for the first time with Neil, on top of that the reason is still unknown. Avni looks out of the window trying to deflect herself with the outer environment.

As soon as the car stopped in front of the house Neil gets out without sparing a single glance at her while the driver opens the door for Avni. Coming out of the car in utter annoyance Avni was going to talk with Neil to ask him what's wrong but stops when she saw him talking with Dihan, and judging by their expressions anyone can say it was something damn important so she decided to ask him afterwards & walks inside the house instead.

Skipping to the kitchen Avni fetched a water bottle from the fridge & walks out of the kitchen towards the living room, at the same time Dihan also entered in the house but alone, no sign of Neil. Avni frowns but doesn't say anything & was about to walk upstairs but stops when Dihan speaks.......

"Your bags mam, DD dropped by here"—Avni turns towards him & glanced at the shopping bags in his extended out hands, she raised an eyebrow look at him cynically.

"What did you say?!!"—Avni asks folding her arms

"Your bags......??"—he replied frowning while stretching his hand more for her to hold

"No, after that"—she hissed irritatingly

"DD left them here....!!"—now he was getting more confused by her behaviour & Avni all of a sudden starts enjoying Dihan's this state other than his usual avatar

'Let's blame it on my pregnancy hormones' —thinking this in mind Avni pats her back proudly

"Nah!! In between, what did you say in between these two sentences?!"—she tilts her head a lil, tapping her foot on the floor, fighting the urge not to laugh at Dihan as his scrunched up, confused face was looking cute yet very funny to Avni.

"I can't remember sorry but if you'll take this then I've other works to do, so please excuse me"—he said straightening up, coming back to his usual dreary mode, Avni rolls her eyes when he placed the bags on the couch & starts walking out of the house.

"Hey wait"

"Mam, do you need anything? If not then please let me go"—he stated irritatingly turning back

"Exactly!!!"—Dihan looks at her like she's a mad person...."Who is your 'mam' here, kindly introduce her to me"—Avni said gritting with tight smile & Dihan gives her a look like 'seriously, are you kidding me!!'

"Obviously I'm calling 'you' mam"—he replied utterly irritated now by her childish behaviour.

"Whatever. But do I look like older than you? No right, so you are not calling me that"—she cringes making faces while Dihan gazes her mirthfully

"Okay Ms.Mehta, as you wish"—after thinking for some time he replied with a smug look which pissed Avni more.

"Oh please shut it"—Avni spats rolling her eyes........"Brothers call their sister like this,,,, oh god I didn't knew"—she sighs dramatically & the smug look on Dihan's face gets replaced with a frown

"What do you mean?!!" —he said confusingly & this time it was Avni's turn to smirk, Dihan widens his eyes remembering what she was referring to......."Listen it was just a part of my work so please don't take it seriously"—he tries to make her understand which made her pout instead

"But I already took it seriously & now I can't delete this serious part so you have to be my brother, I don't know anything"—she states stubbornly turning her face sideways with a angry pout

"Ms.Mehta, (he sighs) I'm here for doing my duty not to make any relation, moreover work & relations doesn't go along so it's better to keep things like it is now"—he said in a serious tone while Avni pouts more

"You know what your work comes out more natural & real when there's a special bond with the ones you works with,, it doubles our strength Cuz we know that there's someone who will be with us to support us, who will have our back, whom we can count on. So it's not bad to make some special bonds in work"—she gives him a genuine smile & shuffles through the shopping bags.

(This above statement has came out from my gutter mind out of nowhere😭😂😭, vastavikta se iska koi sampark nhi hai😇So kindly don't take it seriously nor u r allowed to make fun of my stupid thoughts😒Am I clear?!!😐)

Dihan was about to say something but she shoves a bag in his hand while he looks at it then at her questioningly

"Even if you don't consider me as your sister but I considered you as my brother from the first time I met you, even I don't know why but I always gets bro-vibe from you (she giggles) Maybe bcz I don't have one though I always wanted a brother who could've stand beside me in my every prob........urghh leave it so it's a small holi gift for my bro"—Avni smirks & skips towards her room even before Dihan could react.

On the other hand Neil saw all this from upstairs with interest as if it was some drama going on......'No doubt she can play with anyone'—he shakes his head & goes to his study for doing his office work.

Here Dihan still stands on the same place blinking his eyes at the bag in his hand while Avni's words were repeating in his mind, finally sighing deeply he walks out, to the outhouse where he stays……

Avni comes out of the washroom after freshening up, wearing a loose t-shirt with a flower printed pj's. While braiding her hairs, her eyes fells on the shopping bag, more specifically on one bag. She slaps her forehead while cursing herself & walks towards it.

"How can you forget this Avni?! You are too much!!"—shaking her head on her own dumbness she picks up a blue bag & sighs....."Come on, it's time to give it to him,,I hope he will like it"—murmuring to herself she makes her way out of her room.

Taking a deep breath she knocks on the door but got no response, she again knocked but still nothing. Mustering up all the courage she slowly opens the door but found no one inside, frowning she looks at the wall clock which read 10:15

'Where's he at this time?!'—she thought & takes a step towards the balcony but flinches back upon hearing a loud glass crashing sound....

I know there wasn't much of Avneil scenes😅but sometimes it's better this way so that we can reveal some past secrets, right?!!😉

But sorry everyone my break is still not over😭cz I have my boards from 14th Nov😭so I won't be able to update in a while☹but I promise to be back by the end of Nov & then you can expect regular updates of every stories like earlier😚

Just pray for me so that I can come back with a shining result, this exam is freaking important for me & I have to make a good result for my future😭😭Dua karna mere liye zayada nhi bohot zayada😭😭
