Beverly Marsh
School is so boring. I just wanna leave. Dad gets home around 4:30 and school gets out at 2, I shut my locker and hold my binder close to me, I walk into my social studies class and saw the teacher staring at me weirdly.. I slowly approach the teacher and whisper.

"Uhm hi. Im new and I just got switched to this class" Beverly says quietly

"Well ms uh marsh?" Teacher says while looking down at her

"Yes?" Beverly says while looking up

"You may go have a seat with mr denbrough, Bill do you mind raising your hand?" Teacher says

Bill slowly raises his hand with a weak smile, Beverly nods her head and walks down the aisle and slowly sits down next to bill, Bill glances over at her and smiles.

"I-i-I'm bill" bill says

Beverly looks over at him and smiles a bit and whispers..

"Nice to meet you I'm Beverly, you can call me bev for short if it's easier" Beverly whispers

"H-h-how are y-y-ou?" Bill asks

"Im okay just a little nervous about the whole school thing, i got comments from these weird guys today" Bev says

"J-just s-so you know I-i can help you in this class I-I'm really good at social studies." Bill says with a smile

"Ooh sounds like someone likes school " Beverly teases

"N-n-no but It's super e-easy" Bill admits

I wait by the school entrance and I noticed Beverly sitting by the tree, is she waiting on someone? Does she have a boyfriend? As I stare at bev i can hear my friends approaching me, I smile and look away from her and turn around and see my three friends.

"Ya know ms Darwin needs to retire, She's gotta be like 100 or maybe older. I could care less honestly but my grade is not looking so well " Richie says

"I like her. She's really sweet and not gonna lie she reminds me of my great grandma who bakes cookies" Eddie says

"Good to know." Richie says

"I'm really glad today's over with. I want my bed" Stan says while nodding

"M-me too." I say

"Did anyone else see Molly Ringwald today?" Richie says

"Who's that?" Eddie says while looking around

"I don't know but in my opinion she looks like Molly Ringwald, not the cute version but yeah" Richie says

"W-what did she l-look like?" I ask

"I don't remember, she had red hair, freckles and she smelled liked cigarettes " Richie says while gagging

Her. Beverly, red gorgeous hair, beautiful freckles, beautiful smile. That's exactly who he's talking about.

" S-she has a name. I-it's Beverly. A-and honestly I think she's really pretty." I admit

"Wowwww I didn't know you liked girls man. Congrats" Richie says in a sarcastic tone

"F-fuck off" I say while walking towards the sidewalk

"Hey bill!" Beverly shouts and waves

I look up and see her waving at me, I decided to walk over to her, As I'm walking over to her I get pushed into the grass and I  instantly feel pain when someone's foot stomps on my back, I slowly look up and realize it's henry bowers.

"BILL! HENRY GET OFF OF HIM!" Beverly screams

Suddenly Henry's dad looks over at him and gives him a death stare, Henry stops kicking and runs away. Beverly runs over to bill and helps him up.

"Are you ok?" Beverly asks

"I-I'm fine. N-not the first time he d-did that " Bill says

"I'm sorry." Beverly says

"D-dont worry." Bill says with a smile

"Well I gotta go. Seeya in the morning?" Beverly says while walking away

"Y-yeah" Bill says

As I was listening to the radio I couldn't stop thinking about today. That girl. She's so pretty and she's even more cute when she laughs...

"Billyyy dinner should be ready in about 5 minutes, come down and set the table!" Mom shouts from down stairs

"C-coming" I shout back and smile

I walk down the stairs and walk into the kitchen to grab silverware and napkins.

"How was school today?" Mom asks from the kitchen

"I-it w-was g-good" I say while setting the table

"I'm glad you like school honey" mom says

The front door opens and i look around the corner and see dad walk in, Boy does he look tired.

"H-how w-was work?" I ask

"Pretty tiring, how was school?" Dad asks while walking into the kitchen

"G-great, made a n-new friend." I say with a smile

"That's great billy" Dad says

Later..

"M-mom! Eddie just called and wondered if I can g-go outside." Bill shouts from upstairs

"Yesss just be home before dark billy!" Mom says

I grab my jacket and slip it on and dash down the stairs, Mom stops me to hug me, I hug back and then run out of the house to see Eddie circling around the road on his 95 Schwinn.

"W-ow I didn't think your mom would let you come out."  I tease

"My mom thinks I'm staying after school, If my mom finds out I'm hanging with you she'll freak out." Eddie says

"Fair enough, W-what about Stan and Richie?" I ask

"I don't know" Eddie says with a shrug

"I-if I tell y-you s-something w-would you k-keep it a s-secret?" I ask while looking at Eddie

"Sure bill. Anything man" Eddie says

"I-i t-think B-Beverly is s-so d-damn b-beautiful edds." I say with a smile

"She is but doesn't she smoke?" Eddie says I'm a disgust tone

"I don't care. She's beautiful." I say

"Damn. You didn't stutter once." Eddie teases

"A-asshole!" I say while rolling my eyes
