Jamie looks up as the hotel door shuts. All the teens gathered in Sam and Devon's room. Demetri sighs, "Well, this sucks."

"Not a very smart gamble, boys." Sam says

"Yeah. Somebody said it wasn't gonna be a gamble."

"I didn't wanna get involved remember? I told you to stay away from Cobra Kai." Robby says, "It's so simple."

"Well, if it's so simple, why don't you follow your own advice?" Hawk says

"What are you talking about?"

"We all saw you talking to Tory."

"Come on. I mean, she's his girlfriend." Devon says

"Yeah, he's dealing with her decision. Same as the rest of us." Miguel says

"I wouldn't say that exactly." Jamie scoffs turning to Robby, "You knew Kreese came to Tory."

"What? You did?"

"Yeah. I... I mean, I knew that Kreese went to Tory, yeah, but it was before her mom died." Robby stammers, "He was trashing Miyagi-Do, saying she wasn't gonna have a fair shot. She told him to get lost. Come on. I didn't know she was gonna do this."

"Really? This is what Kreese does. He played her. And he played you. And you lied to us about it." Sam says

"Come on, guys. That's not fair. I didn't lie." Robby tries before looking to Miguel, "Miguel."

Miguel sighs shaking his head and looking down. Robby sighs as the room goes silent. Jamie stands up, "I'm gonna head out. I'll see you guys tomorrow."

She doesn't give anyone much of a chance to say anything as she brushes past Robby before opening the door and shutting it behind her. She shoves her hands in her pockets and makes her way down the hall to the room Sienna's mother booked for her and Jamie. Seeing as Jamie pretty much refused to room with Priscilla, but Sienna had no problem rooming with her.

Jamie looks up as she turns down the hall. She freezes as she stares at her mom and dad down the hall. The two standing outside of Amber's room and too close for Jamie's comfort. Jamie's heart continues to race as the two laugh together.

Amber pulls James closer before reaching up and kissing him. Jamie's breath hitches as the two pull away before Amber pulls James into the room. Jamie feels completely frozen as her eyes stay glued to the spot her parents were just in. Jamie lets out a shaky breath as she continues down the hall. Her eyes trailing over as she passes the door to her mom's room.

Her steps quicken as she feels her breathing become erratic. She fumbles for the key card in her pocket and rushes to open the door. As she puts the card up to the handle, the light flashes red. She does it a few more times before groaning as the light stays red.

"Come on." She mutters. She pulls away before putting the key up to the handle again. Sighing out as the light turns green. She shoves the door open and slams it behind her. Jamie breathes heavily as she stands up against the door.

She couldn't believe what she just saw. She didn't want to believe it. Her father was cheating with her mother.

Jamie's hand comes up and grabs at her chest. She slides down and brings her knees up. Her head falls into her lap as she focuses on controlling her breathing. When she looks up again, tears begin to fall down her cheeks.

"The time has come. Welcome to our first event." Gunther says, "I hope you're all well rested and ready for a new and unique competition. We call it the "Captain's War." We told you how important your captains will be. So let's see how well you protect them. Four dojos will take the mat. Only one will be left standing. If you hit the mat, you're out. If one of your captains hit the mat, your entire team is out for this round. Check the boards to see your group, decided by random draw. Group A, you're up."

As the teens look up to the board, Daniel scoffs, "Cobra Kai, of course."

The team huddles together. Jamie tried her hardest to focus on what Miguel was saying, but struggled as she looked up to the crowd. Her eyes immediately falling on her parents.

"Protect the egg. Make sure Jamie and Robby are safe." Miguel says

"I can be on the front line." Robby tries

"No. You just stay back and stay focused."

"Why wouldn't I be focused?"

"You did leave the hotel room last night." Miguel says

Jamie finally looks to her team as Daniel and Johnny walk over. Daniel looks around at them, "I know it hasn't always been pretty lately but no one could ever count us out. You hear me? Do it for each other."

"And wipe the smirks off their ugly faces." Johnny says

"Ready? Begin!"

The teens as Tory runs to them. Demetri yells out, "Protect the egg!"

Kwon runs over and kicks Demetri in his chest, Miguel kicks another teen down, "Demetri's out. Robby, stay back."

Jamie blocks a teen kicking at her. She swings at them before ducking.

"Guys, protect Jamie. We can't have her go down."

"Sensei, I got my hands full."

Jamie grunts as she blocks another swing. Devon swings at Tory, "I got Tory! Need some help!"

Jamie leans back as someone jumps up and kicks at her. She clutches their arm and hits them in their side before pushing them back.

"Lee's out. Hawk, protect the captains."

Jamie punches a teen in their side before shoving them down. As Jamie turns, she comes face to face with Tory. Her face softening for a split second before she clenches her jaw.

"You got it, Jamie." Daniel says

Jamie grunts as she runs at Tory. Tory blocks a punch Jamie throws before swinging which Jamie blocks. Jamie groans as she blocks Tory's kick before sending one of her own.

Noticing that Tory held onto her leg, Jamie rolls down toward the mat. When Tory lets go, she charges at Jamie. Jamie kicks her back before standing. Jamie does a spinning that Tory is able to avoid before trying one of her own.

Tory blocks a few of Jamie's punches before ducking under her arm. Jamie blocks a kick that Tory sends before she hears a horn. She looks over seeing Robby on the ground in front of Kwon.

"Captain down." The announcer says

"Damn it!" Jamie says

"Miyagi-Do is out!"

Miguel takes his place beside Jamie before Hawk leans over, "Hey, you did the best you could, but the captain fell."

Miguel simply nods before turning to Jamie, "You okay?"

"I'm fine." She mutters. Miguel eyes her as she keeps her eyes locked on the crowd above them. Miguel follows her line of sight noticing it was just her parents. He turns back to her, but her eyes remain on them.

"Falchi Della Notte captain down. They are out. Only Cobra Kai and the Iron Dragons remain alive."

As Cobra Kai charges at the opposing dojo, four of the teens take a knee to eliminate themselves. Jamie frowns as they walk off the mat and only the two captains remain. The two captains split apart taking a step closer to the others. Cobra Kai then charges at them.

The boy captain of Iron Dragons easily takes down Kwon and the other Cobra Kai member. The girl wraps herself around Tory before pulling her down. Earning the points for their team.

"Both Cobra Kai captains go down. The Iron Dragons win." The announcer says

Jamie looks up toward Miguel who looked down at her with the same level of confusion. As Jamie turned back to the mat, her eyes trail over to Tory. The blonde breathing heavily as she stared back at Jamie before standing up and walking over to her team.
