𝐈 𝐌𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐔𝐏. I screwed up so bad, with the whole Lily-Keres break up drama. Ok, they broke up so I have a shot with Lily but- I really fucked up her feelings. I can't blame it all on me though right? I mean, I gave up on the 'whole make Keres cheat on Lily plan', but someone how without any efforts, it happened.

The news created up shit about her and published it. They claimed that she had like 6 boyfriends but Keres was the public figure and she broke up with him because she found another boyfriend who is better to fuck.

LIKE WHAT? Now there are people calling her a slut and hating her because of all those lies. Keres is just enjoying life not getting the hate she's supposed to be getting right now. KERES WAS MADE TO LOOK INNOCENT FOR CONTENT.

Diana, Michelle and Lily's cousin's have been out telling them to stop hating on Lily and tried convincing them with the real story but nah, come on they only like to believe the more tasteful ones.

Lily was acting all fine the next day after the break up, smiling, greeting, going perfectly well on all the revision exams. But the news really triggered some people. Many people attacked her with toxic potions, many girls tried beating her up only to get their ass kicked back. Thankfully nothing happened. Lily's been real strong dealing with these hypocrites.

Spell attacks, physical abuse, shaming, social exclusion, deprivation of mental health, some dickheads asking her to spend a night with them, nothing made Lily's smile and normality fade. He acted as if nothing had happened and acted normal but the other just kept tormenting her. Her sleepless eyes, dark circles, she definitely lost a lot of pounds not to mention she is skinny enough, eyes always puffed up as if she had cried all night and rosy cheeks.

When June started, things seemed to cool down. The news cooled down and things were slowly recovering and Lily's talk was fading away. But there were some stuck up loads of girls going around calling random boys as her boyfriends and friends with benefits, they're just jealous that Lily is just perfect.

I felt really bad, I felt guilty even though I shouldn't be feeling bad because I didn't make Keres cheat, I wanted to but I backed out. But some part of me tells me that I indirectly and unwanted fed this cheating motive to Aurelia to create this whole damn mess.

She looked so weak and frail, she seemed like she was going to snap at any given moment with all the nukes they sent her way. I tried talking but she doesn't seem like she wants to open up and every time I mention Keres she starts turning red and starts tearing up.

All these people just say they want the best for you but then they are all just malicious saboteurs with bad intentions. All these people just raise you to cage you and hate you.

As June kicked off so did our O.W.L.s, our core subjects examination was yet to start but the optional ones had begun and I already completed three theoretical exams and well, I aced him, I have a good feeling about it.

Today was Lily's birthday. I was in Arithmancy class. I wished her for the 20th time and tried creating a normal conversation with Lily to just check up on her in Arithmancy class. We were revising the whole day because that was the next exam. She just kept giving me dry replies in an un-interested manner focusing on studying.

She had the pressure of O.W.L.s and then this fucked up break up and the media gaslighting this shit. I can never assess the pain she would have gone through for the past three to four weeks.

"It's time you took your break! Go on now!" the professor said shooing us away from class. Usually the students are so excited to leave class and have a break but since the past few months they have been studying even on lunch breaks by skipping meals so the professors force us to take a small 10 minute break to avoid overload stress.

Many people fell sick and are still recovering in the hospital wing due to overdose of potions which helps you to not sleep and anxiety attacks have also increased a lot in the past months. Lily got up and walked slowly with her weary expression, clinging onto dear life.

I got up and sided with her, "Lily are you ok? You're really unsteady" I asked as I saw her make unbalanced steps. "I feel nauseous, I need water" she groaned. "Water" I said, summoning a water bottle and I gave it to her. She suddenly fell backwards on the wall and started breathing heavily and I started freaking out. "Potter? You ok? I mean I know you're not ok but what's wrong?" I asked with my eyes widened.

"I feel dizzy, I can't breath" she said, trying to catch a breath. She slided downwards leaning on the wall as she clutched her stomach and sobbed. OK WHAT SHOULD I DO? I'M JUST FREAKING OUT?! IS SHE LIKE HAVING HER PERIODS OR SOMETHING?! "Potter, can you stand?" I asked. "Ly, don't go" she moaned. "I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE JUST-" I said frustrated, confused, panicked, OK JUST BREATH LYSANDER.

A crowd started gathering around us. "Is she dying?", "Look at her cry", "You sure she's ok?", "Who is he? One of her boyfriends?", "She looks so pretty even when she's crying", "Oh no, I better escape from this place before I get falsely charged for a murder", "She deserves it for all the shit she has done", "Why is no one helping her?", "That blondie looks cute", "I should be instagraming this right now", "What in the skibidi ohio rizz?!", "Did Potter actually faint?" SHUT UP! ALL OF YOU SHUT UP!

"MOVE. AWAY. NOW. BACK. OFF." I said and gave them a death stare and they backed up. I gave a few seconds of glare as they started dispersing. Lily was still on the floor sobbing, trying to control herself. I sat next to her and said, "Eat some chocolate, it helps, sugar helps" I said handing her a bar.

"I can't eat" she moaned. "You have a mouth and good metabolism. Come on, you can do this" I said, unwrapping the chocolate and putting it near her mouth. "I feel like vomiting" she said as her voice cracked. "Just calm down, have some water" I said as I held her hand to check her pulse, it was high as expected. "Take a few breaths and breathe" I said like a yoga instructor, in that low pleasing voice. I handed her water but she turned her face away.

"I can't" she sobbed as tears flowed from her eyes. "Stop acting like a damn adamant child" I said, losing my cool. "I CAN'T" she screamed in frustration. "I know it's hard, but- this can't be the way you die, this is such a lame way to die- don't you want to die getting tortured by some mafia dude?" I asked. "I'M GOING TO DIE?!" Lily asked, screaming in pain.

"Uhh, well if you're not going to listen, then maybe you will, who knows. But we don't want to risk it should we?" I said. "YOU NEED THERAPY, YOU SHOULDN'T BE TELLING A PERSON IN PAIN THAT THEY MIGHT DIE" Lily screamed back at me. "I'm not wrong though" I argued back. Lily's sob got harder and louder. "Do you want pain killers?" I asked.

"I want to die" she said. "Oh, uhm... But you sure you want to die right now? Because then people are gonna be like, WHAT A LOSER! LILY LUNA POTTER DIES DUE TO SHAME" I said. "You're not helping bitch" she said, pushing me away.

I held her hand and said, "Lily, I don't want to be doing this right now but you have to cooperate, drink some water and eat this chocolate" I said looking at her with concern. "But-" she started. "I'm going to bring you to the hospital wing" I said as I got up ready to carry her. "No" she said in a traumatised manner.

I helped her up and put her hands around my shoulder, "Take small steps, we'll use floo powder to go to the hospital wing" I said as we slowly walked to the fireplace as I took some powder and chanted, "Hospital wing" and we teleported.

"Oh dear! She doesn't seem well! AH! ANOTHER FIFTH YEAR! YOU ALL SHOULD TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEALTH SERIOUSLY! Studying isn't enough, you have to write the test in a good condition" the nurse said as she told Lily to lay on the bed and started examining her.

"You can go!" the nurse told me as she poured a syrup and fed Lily as Lily made a weird face. I looked at the poor birthday girl having the worst time of her life. The nurse kept asking her symptoms and was talking to her and Lily replied blandly with sobs and voice cracks. But she seemed better than before.

"Do you want me to stay?" I asked Lily. "Uhm, if you want to. I mean you should get to class though" she said. I saw it in her eyes that she wanted me to stay. I guess I owe her a secret apology for the whole situation I created to land her up in this situation.

I sat next to her and said, "I'll stay for a while", I pulled out my Arithmancy notes and started skimming them. Lily peacefully laid down on the bed in the quiet of the hospital wing, she took a short nap and I just kept an eye on her as I was revising for my Arithmancy O.W.L.s which was in two days.

Two hours had passed and the light of sunset hit the stained glass of the hospital wing. I closed my notes so I could take a break and clear up my mind. "Ly" Lily called me with a groan. I turned to look at her and my friends and Lily's friends came running.

"LILY!" Diana screamed as she knelt beside her bed. "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU GIRL!? CAN'T YOU TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF? THAT DAMNED PROFESSOR WOULDN'T EVEN LET US VISIT YOU TILL STUDY HOURS WERE OVER" Michelle screamed.

"No jokes, someone told me you and Lysander were having a baby- I just came to her thinking I was going to be an uncle" Lorcan said as I gave him a glare. Lily took her shoe and threatened to toss it at Lorcan.

"You ok, cuzzy?I know it's been tough since the whole 'K' guy incident. But seriously, I'm here for you" Hugo said as he gave her a basket of apples. "Thanks Hugo" she replied smiling. "Ok first, WHICH BITCH WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS? TELL ME. I'LL FIND EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM" Diana yelled. "Look, if you're planning for a Massacre at Hogwarts, I know a method to use dark arts and poison the air everyone breathes in so that their blood dries up and they die from torture" I said.

"How did this guy help you?" Michelle asked, looking at me. "Guess Lysander has a soft side too" Jared said in an emotionally touching way. "Um, no he told me I was going to die" Lily said. "Look I said you'd die if you don't listen to me" I defended myself. "YOU BITCH YOU TOLD HER SHE WAS GONNA DIE?!" Diana said getting violent and I just gave a bored expression. This is a perfect example of how rumours get created. Next thing I know, someone will accuse me of murder.

"Either way, we got a cake for you and your parents sent you a letter. Plus it's your birthday so we party all night" Diana said. "No booze, you're sick" Michelle warned in advance, "I'm fine now" Lily said. "Still nom booze" Michelle said as Lily made a pouty face.

"You guys are invited to the party, everyone except Anderson" Diana said. "What did I do?" Val asked. Diana ignored him. "Have you finished resting dearie? Do you feel better?" the nurse asked. "Yes, I'm fine" Lily replied. "Well, you can go now. Unless you want to spend a night. So you're perfectly normal right?" she asked. "Yes" Lily replied as she got up and started to put on her shoes.

"I already set up the partyyyyy! Just change your clothes and we'll be staying awake the whole night!" Diana said. Lily chuckled and smiled. Unlike last time, this was going to be a small party with only Lily's faithful friends. "Oh Val, you're invited! Also Jared, Judy is invited" Lily said as she tied her shoe lace. "I was going to invite myself anyways" Val said glaring at Diana. "You invited JUDY? DUDE NOW I FEEL PRESSURISED" Jared said.

Well soon after we left the hospital wing we got dressed up for Lily's birthday party. This time I bought her a cute purple aesthetic notebook with a lock and also a refillable pen which looked childish but cute. I also bought her a necklace but I'm going to give that in a secret because it's more of a present of love rather than a birthday gift.

"I'm just going for beer" Lorcan said, chuckling as we went down the stairs and entered an abandoned classroom in Gryffindor towers which was now transformed into a party hall. "WELCOME!" Diana said as she was dressed in a red colour cocktail dress, I saw Val's expressions change. I whispered to Hugo, "Make sure Val and Diana don't meet or talk, or this party is going to end in war" I said.

Hugo gave me a thumbs up. I walked in to see Michelle, Judy and Lily clinked their glasses of whiskey as they laughed and were gossiping. Lily was so pretty, her green eyes, strawberry curls with her dark auburn red hair, her long party dress in dark lavender with glitter and a slit. She was like a mansion with a view.

"When did those two meet?" Jared asked. "I don't know" I replied. "If you were wondering, they met like ten minutes ago, we called her to troll you both basically, your welcome" Diana said as she patted our shoulders and joined the girls.

"I feel so outta place" Hugo muttered. "Yeah, all of them are like either taken or just boring girls" Lorcan replied. "Why are you an idiot?" Hugo asked. "Don't ask me, it's probably genetics" Lorcan said.

I placed the gift on the gift table and sat in a cosy corner to stand and drink my apple juice. "Heyyyy" Judy said smiling and laughing at Jared. "Sup" Jared said awkwardly. "OH MY GOD IS HE YOUR BOYFRIEND HE LOOKS SO PRETTY? HE KINDA LOOKS LIKE JAQUES" Michelle said. "Wait he is Jared, right?" Lily said, taking a closer look at him. P.O.V. you're so drunk you don't even recognise your own friend.

"I- well" Jared said trying to evacuate from the scene. "JOIN US! IN OUR KILL THE GUYS IN THE WORLD GANG!" Judy said. "I'm a guy" Jared replied. "WHO?" Judy asked. "Me" Jared replied. "ASKED?" Judy said and started laughing as the other broke into laughter too. I could see Jared's eye just fixated on Judy. Ok, Judy has such a crazy wild side, I don't know why, she always seemed like those once who would go around giving advice and talking shitty philosophy.

Jared came to me and said, "Dude, Judy is like everything I imagined! She's so sweet but I love this hidden wild side, it';s so cute. Help me I'm blushing so hard" he said as he buried his face into my shoulder. "Go simp to someone who cares" I replied. "The only reason I tell you stuff like this is because you don't judge and neither do you care" Jared smiled.

"Un imbécile" I scolded him. "You realise french is my first language right?" Jared said and I changed my statement to, "Amadán". Jared rolled his eyes as he took a glance at Judy and smiled. "Bro, can you stop looking and maybe make a move, it's so annoying and weird" I said.

"J'sais pas" he replied. "Dude just go sweet talk and kiss!" I said. "It's not that simple" Jared said. "Just follow your instinct, I mean look at her she wants you" I said motivating him. "I'll try my best" Jared said as he bravely went in and joined the conversation.

I was just standing in the corner while all of them were getting drunk and sipping on beer. Then Lucy Weasley in her dusty blue dress approached me. "Hey" she said. I just looked at her. "Not enjoying the party?" she asked, trying to daze me, sorry but your tricks don't work on me. "Want to maybe spend some time alone" she asked as she came to grab my shoulders but I backed.

"I was having my alone time until you interrupted me, so please leave me to it" I said sternly. "You have a girlfriend?" she asked with her eyes all over me. "Nope" I said. "Are you gay?" she asked. "Sorry, that's my twin Lorcan" I replied in an uninterested tone. "Lorcan? No, I was in an unofficial relationship with him" Lucy said as she gave a glance at him.

"Do you like Lily?" she asked. "Nope" I said, looking away from her hoping she would leave. "Can I join?" Roxanne asked as she came in. "He likes Lily apparently" Lucy said. "No way" Roxanne said with a surprised expression. I'm telling ya, not even Donald Trump was that surprised when he won the election last to last time.

"I don't-" I said with an annoyed tone. "Well then have you ever dated anyone?" Roxanne asked. "I have no necessity in answering any of your questions" I replied, taking a sip of my juice. "You're like a really underrated guy, you deserve a flock of girls just for you" Lucy said. "I don't appreciate that" I said, trying so hard to terminate this conversation.

"You know we should hang out once in a while" Lucy said, smiling through her orange hair and brown eyes. "I'm busy" I replied. "After O.W.L.s of course" she said. "I'm not interested in you, take a hint" I said, rolling my eyes in exhaustion. "Maybe next time?" she said as she shamelessly let out a giggle to hide my rejection as she and Roxanne walked over to talk to Alice Longbottom.

Then I saw Rose and Scorpius enter and Rose immediately ran up to Lily and inquired about the incident in the afternoon. Scorpius waved at me as he and Lorcan started talking to each other.

Then it was cake cutting time! Jared had prepared a chocolate cake just for Lily. CHOCOLATE :D. We all sang a very drunk version of happy birthday as we clapped our hands and cheered as she blew her candles and cut her cake. We all got our cakes as we went back to our original positions.

Lily came walking towards me half drunk with a smile on her face and a drowsy look as if none of that drama had happened this morning. "Heyyy" she said as she leaned on me. "Move" I said in a stern way cause Lucy was looking and I didn't want her to know I liked Lily. "Come on Salamander, calm down. Take a chill pill" she said. "You are sick, you're not supposed to drink" I replied.

"Guess what, I'm 16" she said. "WOW! Great to know, not that I already knew that" I said sarcastically. "I've reached the age of consent" Lily said, raising her eyebrows. "Potter, I- I have no words" I said purely disgusted. "Guess what, you're 16 too!" she said. IS SHE INVITING ME RIGHT NOW?!

"I reject spending the night" I said, swallowing my saliva. "Oh don't flatter, I didn't even ask. I'm just saying" She said giggling. "I award you a doctorate for making conversations awkward" I said. "Can we run away?" she said. "What?" I asked. "Let's ditch the party" she said, smiling. "It's your party dude" I said. "That's the fun part" she said as she put the invisibility cloak over both of us and she grabbed a bottle of whiskey and we ran out.

SPENDING TIME WITH LILY ALONE? I'M NOT PASSING ON THAT. But I can't ask her out right now, my original plan was to gift myself as her birthday present but I can't do that with the whole drama. I can't surprise Lily like that, I have to give her time to recover.

We went to the deserted place near the forbidden forest and settled down in the view of the night sky. "Pretty right?" she said sitting on a mossy rock. Last time I came here, I got bitten by fire ants. Oh yes, it was the perfect time to give the necklace I got her.

"Ly, love is really just an illusion that you get mystified by right?" she said as she started tearing up. "Lily, I don't know why but do I really make you feel like crying. You only seem to cry when I'm around. I kinda feel like I should stay out of your life" I said, stuffing back the necklace inside my pocket.

"No, it's because you're the only one who I trust, I can't be real to anyone- I just feel so comfortable telling you all this cause you like listening and I really want someone to listen to me" she said. I let out a breath, "Touché, you can rant" I said.

"I can't believe he cheated on me" she started. "Come to reality" I said. "Why Aurelia? I'm better than her in every single way" she said. "Stop comparing" I said blandly. "You know how hard it is to forget him, a face I used to admire suddenly disappears. I can't forget him that easily. It's hard. I want to be in his arms, I want him back" Lily said. "He cheated" I said, losing my cool. BRO IT'S BEEN LIKE 3 WEEKS MOVE ON!

"It's hard, I can't unlove him. It's just hard. I can't move on. Those tiny moments, those secret moments, the giggles we had. I wasn't serious at the start but now that I have lost him, all those memories keep running back to me. He was mine. He is still mine. I want him back. He's the only one who can fix my sleepless nights and be the daylight of my dark world" she said as her emerald green eyes secreted the essence of sadness as they flowed down her cheeks like a waterfall of depression and overwhelmingness of her deepest griefs.

I held her hand and said, "I'm sorry". "For?" she asked. "For being alive" I said. "What?" she looked at me confused. "People fall in love with the wrong people sometimes and that's alright, that's ok, you're not in love Lils, you're really just in pain" I said. "I don't know if I'll ever get over Keres" she said.

"You will, life isn't easy. But you will get better, it's all for the better" I said and even though tears were spilling off she gave a hearty laugh, "You look so funny when you give pep talks" she said. "I don't want to be doing this shit either, but what a shame, I love you" I said looking down trying to hide the visible blush on my face as I looked at the Lunar light shine over my Lily. Her teary eyes and her smile.

"I'm confused, am I laughing or crying?" she asked as she chugged some alcohol. "It's out of syllabus, I don't know" I replied wittily. This was the perfect time to give her the necklace. I pulled the necklace out of my pocket and told Lily, "Turn".

"That's so pretty" Lily said looking at a tarnished gold necklace with a compass with blue topaz gems engraved around the circle. She turned around as she tossed her hair in front as her sweet smelling hair hit my face. I put the necklace around her. I ran my finger tips from her collarbone to the back of her neck as I locked in the necklace.

"Done, now you won't get lost" I muttered. My heart was racing for some reason. She turned towards me and gave an erotic look. Her green eyes are still recovering from puffiness, unstable and drunk thoughts in her mind, her rosy cheeks and scarlet lips. She took a step closer and my heart had reached a new peak of craziness.

"A lash was it?" she said, reminding me of the day, I kinda lost my self control. She took a sip of her whiskey as she placed her hand on my arm and walked closer. "Birthdays are so depressing right?" she asked, taking steps closer and closer. I was just discombobulated and I said, "Yeah" with a voice crack.

"What's the moral of the story?" she asked as I could feel her tiptoe and I felt her warm breath on my neck. "Young people fall in love with the wrong people sometimes and that's ok, cause there is something better waiting out there and he's shipping in his highest heels shining just for you" I muttered a dialogue I made up last minute.

"Mhmm" she said as she placed her soft lips on my neck and kissed me slowly. It was good, the heart that had been aching me had stopped, my heart burns cured up now my stomach was filled with butterflies. Her soft lips all over my neck as she placed soft, warm, light hearted kisses. She gave a final kiss to my right collarbone as she held back.

"I was kinda disappointed you didn't kiss my neck you put on the necklace" she said. I didn't know what to say. I knew if I did say something, I would just make it cringe and awkward. I looked at her warm hued neck. She wished for it, she wanted it. Let her have a third birthday present.

I bent down a bit as I pressed my lips against her neck. She let out a small moan of joy as I devoured her neck. "You asked" I mumbled as I broke away.

She tugged on my chest as I looked at her shimmering eyes. Our noses collided and my heavy heart started spilling all its load. Her lips were so scarlet, it was maroon. Her eyes were like a new piece of emerald, green. We rubbed our noses against each other but we hesitated to make a move.

"I'm sorry I- I got ahead- It's just I-" she mumbled. "I'll wait, don't rush" I said. After all she is drunk there is only a 20% chance she's even going to remember all this shit. I don't want to take advantage of her, I want it to be real. I don't want to take my chances and kiss her now, if she finds out when she's awake, I can't say for sure that she won't be upset. I can't take chances.

"Lysander" she called me in a sexy voice as we still held each other close with our noses touching each other. Her dark lavender dress shimmering in the glitter of the moonlight and her star diamond earring with stars glowing.

"Thanks" she muttered as her nails dragged on my neck. I closed my eyes as I enjoyed it. I put my hands on her back to feel her skin.

"For?" I asked in a low voice as she pressed her body on mine and closed all the gaps and air spaces. I looked into an emerald ocean filled with mysteries and memories to be unlocked with. Only if I could own those lips.

Her fingers slipped from my neck and ran up to my face as I got goosebumps. Her naughty fingers ran from my forehead to my nose, rushing my cheeks and finally my lips as I kissed her finger.

"Thanks for being alive" she muttered quietly.
